Ashe rolled her eyes. Them staying with her meant she didn't had time to drink her alcohol. She shook her head and shrugged. "Whatever. Just tag along." With her hand on her knife, she started walking further. She heard Katya's words and shook her head. "Jesse got bitten because of me yesterday, remember? I can't stay with them. I kill them. I am a useless part to the group. I am better on my own." Which was true. She had survived the whole apocalyptic shit on her own. Just yesterday she had found the group and joined them.

"What happened to your group?" Ryder said, while following her. He didn't really care, but he felt like he had to ask. "Did you guys get kicked out or something?"

"No one got kicked out and it wasn't my group," she told Ryder, "in this world shit happens, Ashe. Learn that fast and things will be much easier." After that Katya sighed and looked at the both of them, "now can we shut up, drawing attention to ourselves isn't a good thing right now."

"What happened to your group?" Ryder said, while following her. He didn't really care, but he felt like he had to ask. "Did you guys get kicked out or something?"

Ryder looked at Katya. He wasn't sure if he liked her yet. "If it wasn't your group, why did you follow redhead over here?". He remembered Asha's name, he just liked to pretend that he didn't. "And can you guys walk a little faster, I'm starving."

"Because it is Ashe's group and she made me feel welcome and tried to make me stay, I'd like to repay the favour." After saying that the girl walked a little faster and ahead of the other two.

Ashe rolled her eyes. Fucking nicknames. First it was Harley with 'sweetheart' and now it was Ryder with 'the redhead'. She rolled her eyes. "I left the group myself. It was better that way." She kept on walking, pushing her hands in her pockets.

"You know Ashe," she called over her shoulder, "I wasn't around you guys fur long but I can tell Jesse is very fond of you. He won't blame you."

Ryder rolled his eyes. "Guys, groups are not that big of a deal" he said, while flipping his hair out of his eyes. "You either stay or you go. It's simple" he said. "I've been in tons of groups, and I've left them all and I'm completely fine. If this Jesse dude gets angry because you left, he's a pussy."

"Can we just stop talking about the group? I left. They're better off alone. Without me getting people bitten by zombies. End of the story." She looked at Ryder and shrugged. Suddenly she stopped moving and pointed to a huge supermarket. "Maybe that place is worth a scavenging run."

"Definitely" he said, looking at the supermarket. "Maybe we'll even find some cigarettes." He started walking towards it.

Katya was quick to grab him by the shoulder, "don't just walk in." She shook her head and walked closer to one of the glass windows knocking on like with the shed. Silence. She knocked again. There was sudden growling from inside and movement towards the window.

Ashe had grabbed her gun and knife. She heard the growling of the zombies when Katya had knocked against the window. Great. She cleared her throat, looking from Ryder to Katya. She saw a backdoor half open. "Lets try getting inside through that door," she mumbled, walking towards it.

Three shots were heard inside the supermarket and the sound of bodies falling.

 

[Lilli]

Ryder


He looked at Asha. "Are you stupid? Why should we willingly go inside of a huge building full of zombies? We should just walk away while we can."

 

[annabel]

Mei had seen the last few zombies in the supermarket head for the windows, a sure sign that there were more people outside*. The place was clear and the survivors out there were quite possibly starving or injured. She made her way for the door and opened it, her gun pointed straight ahead. (One had to be careful. She didn't know what these people were like yet.)

Ashe looked at Ryder. "Because I need to get whatever is inside," she shot back at him. Of course she meant the alcohol. A huge place like that should at least still have a few bottles. She looked up when she heard a few gunshots coming from the inside. "Oh great..." She looked up when a girl opened the door and was pointing her gun at them. "Lower that thing."

Three shots were heard inside the supermarket and the sound of bodies falling.

Katya did not smile at the sounds of guns. Too much noise, and it was attracting the dead, "get inside." The girl skill fully spun the staff taking down the closest zombie.

Mei thought better of making them wait out there. She had probably attracted more zombies to the building with the sound of gunshots. At least inside the supermarket was safe. In any case, the strangers looked harmless enough. She hoped she wouldn't regret her decision. "I'm Mei. I just cleared out this place. You're welcome in, if you'd like. There's plenty of food here."

Ryder looked around him, feeling confused and not sure what to do. He looked at Asha and Katya, waiting to see what their next move was.

"Or not. Up to you guys. But I won't keep this door open for you all until a new horde of zombies come surround this place."

Ashe narrowed her eyes but nodded. She stepped inside the supermarket and looked around. There were quite some zombies dead on the floor. "I am Ashe. Thank you."

She was the last person to be inside closing the door behind her. She glanced at the new girl behind her and sighed straightening up.

"I'm Ryder" he said, and followed the others.

Mei smiled at the new group as she admitted them in. "Nice to meet you guys. I'm Mei." She then locked the door and moved to push a medium-sized desk behind it. "Happy shopping," she told them.

"I'm Katya," Kat didn't say much else before walking towards the first aisle, most shelves where empty, "how can we shop happy when the majority of shelves consist of out of date condoms and cheap tooth paste." She snorted laughing to her self.
