Fantasy Apocalypse: Not your typical 'zombie'

He sees the man rescuing him kill the two zombie. Seeing the zombies are distracted he shoots another one one of them. He takes a look at his now broken ankle and tries to move it. He grinds his teeth in pain as he tries to stand up.

Alexander's gaze flicks from the severed heads to the boy on the ground. "You ok?" He asks, cautiously approaching him. He looks to the stranger's ankle. Broken. Most likely a hair line fracture in the tarsals, or possibly a buckle. Or maybe a tear in the ligament. He remember how painful that was said to be. "You probably don't want to move too much, would hate to risk further injury."

Marcus shook his head awake and stood from his bed. Thankfully he had set it up under some cover as it had rained. With a stretch, he began to walk down the stairs, wondering who could've been here for him. He stopped dead in his tracks as a familiar armored figure with growing red eyes stood before him. "....Six?" He asked carefully.

A grunt came from her as she slapped him, hard, after removing her glove. She grabbed both of his arms and tossed her helmet aside before leaning in and locking lips with him, her hair spilling onto her shoulders.

Addie walks back to Felix and David, noticing the stranger gone. "Could I have the wrist communicator back?" She glanced back at Lucifer, excited at the opportunity to help Felix from the people that wanted him dead. David felt sort of hungry and somehow heard the whole conversation between Lucifer and Addie. He could also smell something tasty nearby, along with a slight foul smell. David's mind instantly came up with why. He was sure he was turning- he hadn't been bit, but along with the zombie heads, infectious blood had been flying around. If the blood had somehow entered his body... it would mean he'd turn quickly yet steadily. David checked himself over and realized that there were a few scratches on his left arm. He closed his eyes tightly. No. I simply can't be turning.. I still need to find John and unite what's left of this family. Addie would be safe, according to what she told Lucifer about Felix.. but.. I just can't be turning.. He subtly poked his teeth, unsurprised they were sharper. David sighed and looked over at Addie. "Sis, I'm going on a supply run, a major one- so I won't be back for approximately a day and a half. Stay safe." He ruffled her hair and walked towards the inner part of the city to make sure he wouldn't become an evil zombie. He knew that Simon and Felix were good zombies, meaning if they could do it, so could he. David could still smell everyone, in fact, he smelled two others somewhere near.

Felix- "Yeah sure." I say hand the communicator to Addie then to David, "Good luck."

Lucifer- I look towards the building the stranger ran to and say, "So are going after them or not?"

Addie said her thanks and went back to Lucifer, handing the wrist communicator to him. She went back by Felix and sat down in exhaustion. David sat down on a ledge of a rooftop and looked out on the city. He could almost pinpoint every scent, tracing the more delicious smells to the firehouse. He sighed and watched the rain start to fall harder. Why does it have to be like this..? All I have to do is somehow ignore the urges, then I can come back to them. I just need to learn control.. David felt a pang of hunger and distracted himself from it by watching the steady rainfall.

Felix- I sit down next to Addie and ask, "Tired still?"

Lucifer-As Felix and Addie sit down I walk over and say, "If you aren't going after them then I am, you're welcome to join me." I then turn towards the building Six ran off to and go in that direction

Dmytri pulled out a little case no larger than a tin lunch box, though nicer in appearance, and opened it up to the video display radio on the inside. Yes they have smartphones and tablets and all sorts but this was a field radio powered by a plutonium battery, similar type to those used in pacemakers in the 2010's. It was his father's during the Chinese invasion after the US sold California to China starting essentially another "revolutionary war". The radio had a 8 inch touchscreen and a transmitter/receiver unit that can broadcast nearly 50 miles on nearly any programmable channel. He rang up a pre-program to broadcast on all receiving channels and spoke into the small hand mic.

"Hello? Is.......one th...? Add...? Ma...us? Fe...............lo?" He could hear the crackly transmission through the loopback speaker as he tried to clear it up.

"Yea....I'm fine..." He slowly gets up, grinding his teeth to distract him from the pain. "I think I twisted my ankle though...." He says, looking at it.

Lucifer- As I'm walking the communicator starts with a scrambled voice, I say into it, "Hello, can you understand me?"

"If you'd like I can help you determine what it is as well as treat it." He said, watching the boy stand up. He wished he would've listened to him because in standing he had put extra pressure on either the fracture or sprain, but of course it wasn't Alexander's body, therefore not his choice. "I can help you out of here and, hopefully, to a safer place where you can rest your ankle. Oh," He hit his head as if remembering something. He pulled the face cover down and smiled. "My name's Alexander." He stuck out his hand.

Lilly took out the decorated knife and turned it over in her hands, saying nursery ryhmes like the infamous Lizzie Borden took an axe.

Addie nodded and closed her eyes for a few moments, shortly resting her eyes. She took a deep breath suddenly. "So I guess we should get back inside..?.." She glanced back at the firehouse and frowned at her pockets. She didn't get why the stranger had to take Marcus's knife from her.. it was just mean. David sighed and sniffed the air, curious if his new senses would help him scavenge for supplies. He caught a whif of what smelled like cottonballs and wondered if food smelled bland now. He shrugged his shoulders to himself and started out in the direction of the cottonball smell, eventually catching something that smelled absolutely delicious. He cautiously went towards it and began to hear people talking about some ankle injury. So that's what people smell like now... it's practically mouth watering.... David shook away the thought and went after the cottonball scent instead. He wasn't used to not being human, so he wasn't sure he could control any major urges yet. He found a candy shop was the source of the smell. He ignored the awful scent and shoved a bunch of candy in his backpack, figuring it would be good food source and a nice gift for his sister.

Lilly buried her face in her legs. "Why do nursery runner have to be so freaking depressing and gory?" She said reffering to Lizzie Borden, Jack and Jill and Humptey Dumptey.

Addie got up and made her way back to the firehouse, plopping down on the floor. She took the blanket out of her backpack and snuggled in it, falling asleep again.

((Gtg to bed, night guys!))

David sniffed the air and smelled more cotton ball scents coming from a block away. He walked towards it and saw a gas station. He only found a few bags of candy and potato chips and stuffed them in his backpack. He continued occasionally sniffing the air and wandering around the city.

Dmytri finally fine tuned the radio and called again. "Hello? Am I coming through clearly? Any one in the firehouse?" He waited for a response in his new snipers nest in a cathedrals attic. the place was boarded up well so he didn't worry to much about surprises this time.

Having came out of the alley and all but ignored i get really pissed off while they deal with someone that is dressed up like Z-Blaster usually is and after that person runs into the fire house. I notice the man i was talking to take off down the road and i decide to follow him out of curiosity. i Always make sure to stay a few blocks back and i notice him go up a building and sit on the roof after a while he leaves i follow him to a candy store and then just wondering around the city. Wondering way he has not seen or sensed me it gets me a little angry because i think he is just ignoring me. Then as i turn the corner of a block to continue to follow him i run into a group of Z's i let out a small yelp and smash the face of the first one in. Trip the second one as i kick the third one in the head smashing it into the wall and finally stomping on the last one that is laying on the ground. I then quickly check to see if the guy that i have been trailing out of curiosity noticed the fight.

(sorry for not being able to post the last couple of days)

Lilly tossed the knife in the air and it went to the right of her. "Crud." She said, crawling over to get it. She crawled over some wooden planks that groaned and and snapped beneath her. Lilly screamed and plummeted downwards about ten feet, landing on top of somebody.

"What the heck?! Owwwww!!!" Charlie said, falling to the ground.

David noticed and rushed over to help, despite the immense delicious scent given off by the person. He realized that the person looked like the high pitched person for before. David unsheathed his katana and decapitated as many as he could. The awful smell of dead zombies overtook the strong scent of the person, so he could hold back the urges with little difficulty.

"Guys, I'm um, I'm stuck! Along with somebody else I dunno if he's human! Poke." She said, poking Charlie in the arm on the last word. "Please don't poke me, kid." Charlie said. "I'm human." Both of them thought the others voice was farmilier, but it was to dark down there to see.

As I notice the guy rush over to help I check to see if my helmet was on and starred to slightly panic as I remember that I left it in the car. But shaking the fear off I continue to bash the head of the zombie into the ground. Leaving three left I look over to the guy and say "sorry I didn't mean to cause you trouble. I was just curious where you where going."

(David might notice it's the same voice that came from the same masked person.)

He finished off the three reaming zombies and wiped the blood off of the katana and then sheathing it. He looked curiously at the person; the voice was like from before when they had been taking down the horde.. but this person didn't wear the mask. "It's no trouble, like my sis I love to help whenever I can. And about where I'm going... Honestly? Not even I know that. I'm just following the godawful smells to get supplies-" David stopped talking, realizing what he'd just said. Anyone who had even the slightest knowledge about zombies would know that what he said about smelling was a dead (or undead xD ) giveaway at what he was now. He watched the person, hoping they hadn't noticed.

As the guy finished the three remaining Z's off and saying how he likes to help people and has no clue as to wear he's going. I notice he's looking at me like I should have realised something and then it hit me "hello my name is Roxanne nice to meet you."
