Fantasy Apocalypse: Not your typical 'zombie'

I took the lack of a response as their way of either saying 'no' or 'who the hell are you'. Either way, they didn't seem to know anything about my sister. I sighed and continued down the road cautiously. I saw a few faces in a window of a firehouse down the street, but couldn't make out if any of the faces was Addie. I went over and quietly knocked on the firehouse's main door.

"Now, does everyone have enough ammo just incase we have to fight our way out. Last I counted the main horde body consisted of 75 strong and maybe a total of 20 straglers" he counted his ammo in his pocket. he also took out a cigarette and lit it

Lilly tensed up and looked at the door. She slowly made her way to the door. She looked at the others. "Should I?"

Simon darted next to the door and leaned against the wall, holding his new knife ready. "Do it." He said quietly as he nodded to Dymitri and Addie as a sign to hold their guns ready.

I held up my Glock 22 and kept my eyes on the door, curious who it could possibly be.

I readied my rifle and pointed at the door. I nodded when Simon said 'do it' and got on one knee. I readied for whatever.

Lilly opened up the door and immedietly stepped back in case the person was bad. "Who are you?" She asked, her hand clutching a knife.

I stared at the faces, amazed to see Addie. I instantly smiled, despite all the weapons in my face. "David, and is that really you, sister..?" I almost cried from happiness of finally finding her.

Addie


I dropped the gun and stared in awe. I thought my whole family was either dead, or undead. "David..?" I sprinted forward and tightly hugged him. "I thought you were dead.."

I kept my Irons steadied at the 'david's' head. He seemed to call Addie his sister.

 

[Blomst]

"Huh?" Lilly said, glancing between the person, David, and Addie.

 

[SkyChild]

I lowered the knife and attached it to my belt again, coming out of the corner i would've attacked out of if he was a bad guy. I smiled when i saw her hugging him. I can only imagine how happy they were. "I didn't know you had a brother." I said, smiling.

 

[Blomst]

Lilly felt a ping of sadness, having lost her brother, but she felt happy for them.

Addie


I looked up at David and smiled. "Hold on, pull back your lips, I just wanna check something..."


David


"Weird thing to ask.. But ok." I pulled back my lips, revealing normal human teeth.


Addie


"Ok good." I glanced back at Simon. "I have two brothers.. But I don't know where my other one is.."

 

[Blomst]

Lilly smiled and put away her knife. "Be glad you found one Addie. Or I think he found you." She paused. "I'm Lilly." She said to David.

 

[Dubst3pp3r]

I dropped my guard and rushed to the the. "C'mon, lets not let the heat out. The horde could be here by night fall or tomorrow. But come on. lets get the siblings inside." I go to close the door and rush the others inside.

 

[SkyChild]

"Oh-- I'm... I'm sorry, i didn't know." I looked at David, then back at Addie. "But it's nice to see that you two found each other." I grinned.

I walked inside, immensely happy to have finally found my sister. "So do you have any idea if John's even alive?" I asked curiously. All I remembered was that on that horrible day when we fended off the zombies, John and I were separated somehow by bad luck and I managed to escape.


Addie


I followed David back inside and stayed no further from him than a few inches. "I don't know, some girl a few weeks ago had told me that she knew a half zombie named John that looked a lot like him.. But he wasn't in the hospital that she said he was in."

Lilly went back to sorting her knives from biggest to smallest, thinking about her own brother, Logan.

Lucifer- As the person walks away I follow silently to see him go in a firehouse and sneak around back to listen in to here the conversation, hoping to hear something about Felix





Felix- I look up at yhe newcomer when he introduces himself and say, "I'm Felix, pleased to make your-" I stop, staring at the back of the house and say quietly, "I'll be in the house across the street, do not tell anybody outside this room, no matter what." then walk to the door looking back at the others for a second, then leaving

David curiously eyed Felix as he left. Addie was just plain confused. What would make him act like that..? She sighed as if to say 'whatever' and held onto David's hand, slightly nervous.

Lucifer- As Felix leaves I knock on the wall and walk in with one submachine in my hand, "I don't mean to intrude, but I was wondering if you know where that person is heading." I say with a blank smile while pointing at the door with ny free hand.
