Fantasy Anything Goes

Shinu nearly swallowed his cigarette at the mention of lovers and old feelings. He'd never even kissed a woman before until he'd met Victoria. Quickly extracting the cigarette from his lips, he burst into laughter that nearly made him double over. "Good god, no!" He exclaimed between chuckles. "No, he's the doctor that helped me escape HumaCorps. His name is Doctor Thomas Thorn." He explained as he took a drag and leaned against a tree, facing Victoria with a fond look of reminisence. "It would be nice to see him, and properly thank him. He risked his life to get me out."

Aileada continued to hold out her hand, eyes shut. After a few moments her thoughts shifted to how long she would have to continue this. It wasn't that she didn't appreciate what Tsatsu was doing, but something was obviously occurring and she couldn't see it. "So will I ever get to see what sort of mystical, magical thing I'm doing or is this just something others get to gasp at while I wonder what's going on?" She smiled gently.

After a long silence, Tsatsu finally spoke. "Ok. I think that's enough for today." He said as he held his hand above hers, quickly taking hold of the magical energy she had produced. The tiny drops of water still swirled about in his palm, trying to form the shape she had concentrated on, but the image only held for a moment before returning to the miniature rainstorm it had begun as. "You can open your eyes now. I've contained it safely, so you can see for yourself."

Shinu pondered for awhile before speaking. He'd have to pack his things and scrap the bike, and she had to do something about her home as well. That would take awhile. "I dunno. Maybe a few months, once we get a few things taken care of." He replied as he finished his cigarette and took one last look around. It was getting late, and they both needed their rest.

Victoria nods and jumps off the rock. "I suppose I owe you a dance," she says and smiles. Last time she remembered dancing was her Junior prom.

Shinu's ears perked up at the thought of dancing. He'd nearly forgotten about that part. With a warm smile, he offered his hand as he spoke. "It'd be my honor." He said as a small bird began to chirp in the distance.

"And I've never danced with a girl before." He said with a smirk as he snapped his fingers. In the blink of an eye, a nearby rock transformed into an old record player, transmutated by Shinu's magic. Soon the forest around them was filled with the sound of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling In Love", and a sentimental twinkle filled the wolf's eyes. Gently holding her hand at shoulder height, he rested his free hand on her hip and led Victoria in a simple waltz.

Instantly her mind was snagged by the word "safely." Was there any danger in what she had been doing unknowingly? With eager anticipation Aileada opened her eyes to see a small storm cloud rumbling over Tsatsu's hand. She stood there mesmerized by the tiny creation. "Did- Did I really make that?" Her large emerald gaze moved from the tiny rain storm to the wolf.

Tsatsu nodded as he examined the glowing sphere in his hand, noting every detail. "There are no boundaries, Aileada. No limits. Anyone can create magic, because each of us is special." He said as he slowly lifted his gaze to meet hers. "But without control, that creativity can become destructive. Come with me, and I will show you what I mean." He said, closing his palm and gently dissipating the energy. Rising to his feet, he offered his hand to help her up, a look of quiet intensity slowly beginning to fill his eyes. There was so much potential in this girl, such untapped power, and yet she was somehow in control of it. Perhaps she had more in common with him and his sibling than either of them realized. He would have to test this.

Aileada took his hand, getting up. Though she was slightly reluctant to let it go. With a quick dusting off of what ashes clung to her dress, she turned back to the wolf. There was a look that settled in his eyes, one Aileada couldn't place. It was serious look for certain, but whether it was good or bad she couldn't tell. "Where are we going?" She asked curiously.

(Back from Spring Break! :3)

Zodiac rose from the newly made circle, a wide predatory grin of anticipation spread across his pale face.

"I made it..." He said, pouring the vial of blood onto the circle. There was a sizzle and a Sudden flash as a black mass seemingly 'rose' from the circle. All the length of it's body spilled outward and coiled itself. Two peircing yellow eyes bore black slivers, eyeing Zodiac with a strange expression of curosity. Zodiac clapped his hands and embraced the large Serpent. The scaly skin had the scent of burnt electricity, but not a strong odor.

"I shall name you...Raid." Zodiac said as he looked into the creature's eyes.

Tsatsu smiled as he gently grasped her hand and led her outside. "We're going to find a quiet place, with a few trees and some rocks. I'd like you to show you something. And then, I'd like you to try to use your magic, just once more. And then we'll be done, for the time being." He explained as they made their way down the street.

Shinu chuckled at Victoria's remark and playfully tapped her toes with his foot. "I was gonna ask you the same thing." He said jokingly. When the song had finished, he snapped his fingers again, and the record player became a stone once more. After a few moments of silence, he spoke with a gentle smile. "Ready to head back? Or should we stay a bit longer?" He asked as he suddenly realized that he hadn't let go of her the entire time.

The girl smiled to herself at the familiar feeling of his hand in hers. Aileada nodded as Tsatsu explained where they were going and why. Something sparked in her mind as they walked down the sidewalk, reminding her of a previous discussion. A smile pulled at the corner of her lips as she looked over to the wolf. "So what was dessert going to be?" She grinned.

Tsatsu smirked as a thousand comments shot through his thoughts, but he spoke none of them. "A delicious strawberry cheesecake." He replied as he kept his mind focused on the task at hand. They passed through town and soon reached the field where he and Hunter had dueled earlier. Pointing to a tree, he spoke in a gentle tone. "Do you remember what I said about controlling magic?" He said as he slowly unclasped his hand from hers and approached the tree, flexing his hands as his eyes took on a stern and deadly serious look.

"That sounds amazing." Aileada smiled. Soon the red head recognized the field they know stood in. She quickly rummaged through their conversation, recalling what he said. "With out control it becomes destructive." She watched him quietly as his expression became serious. It was almost frightening the look in his eyes. A look that said he could kill anyone right now with no remorse.

Tsatsu nodded and spoke again. "Precisely. There are spells that do good things, just as there are spells that do bad things. When you lose control, you might very well kill what you intend to save." He said as he cracked his knuckles. "Or you might destroy what you only mean to restrain." As he spoke, he reached out and placed his index finger against the tree, and it instantly began to whither. The leaves shriveled and turned a mottled brown color in seconds, and the wood splintered and rotted as though time were running in fast forward. Tsatsu removed his hand and turned to Aileada, gesturing to a larger tree nearby. "I want you to point your hands at that tree, and focus your energy. Let your thoughts run rampant, and don't hold back. Think of whatever you wish, and let the energy flow through you. Lose all control, and let your energy do the work." He explained as he watched and waited.

Aileada stared in shock as she watched the tree die. Even though it was a plant, it was like she could hear it screaming out in agony. Her eyes remained large as she looked back to Tsatsu. "I- I can't. I can't do that." She looked back to the tree that groaned from the dead weight of itself. She placed her hands to her temples, squeezing her eyes shut. "I can't do that. I won't." She mumbled as the screams and cries grew louder, echoing within her mind. She didn't understand why she was getting so upset, but to her that tree was like a child; unknowing it what was happening, just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Though little did she know that with her eyes closed she was doing exactly what Tsatsu asked. Her thoughts were running wild within her mind.

As he stared in silence, the tree behind him slowly began to return to life. As quickly as it had perished, it began to rejuvenate, thanks to the uncontrollable power that flowed from Aileada like a tidal wave. All at once, Tsatsu felt a small gust of wind brush his cheek, followed by a tiny cut that flashed open like a cherry blossom in spring time. Had she managed to do that? He gently brushed the injury and wiped the small trickle of blood away. It would coagulate on it's own after a moment or two. One look at her was all it took to tell him he'd pushed the poor girl enough for one day. "Aileada, look." He said as he drew closer and laid his hand on her shoulder. "Look at the tree, Aileada."
