Tadae shook her head and looked out the window. She didn't think she was denying anything by saying that no one in the class had a crush on her. It was a nice fantasy, but it couldn't be true.
he looked at himself in the mirror and decided to after class try to speak with Tadae after class and tell her he was the one who drew the picture and he just wanted to make her feel more welcome in the class with that gesture
Tadae closed her eyes as she thought. She looked at the picture once more and smiled. She didn't think it was a crush, but whoever had drawn the picture may be a nice friend to have.
Tadae had put the picture away and was now staring out the window, simply waiting for anything to happen. She let her thoughts drift to forgotten fields and the stories she read. She soon pulled her gaze from the window down to her desk. She shook her head and pulled her book back out.
"No, I just thought I was talking too much." she answered. Lee would never be ashamed of liking martial arts. That was a huge part of her life and she doesn't regret knowing it. Besides, it gives her power to protect others from being bullied.
She kept in her laugh, trying not to disturb the class when she saw the face that he made. She was glad that he didn't think she was talking to much. It made talking with him comfortable. She shrugged at his answer to her question. Well, if he doesn't plan on inviting anyone, then she won't too. Besides, she was content talking to him.
Finally, the teacher arrived, cutting short her conversation with her new acquaintance. She found it quite funny to see him tired, probably from running. Ironic, since students were supposed to be the ones tired right now. He proceeded to introducing himself with a name she has never heard of before in this school, then asking others to introduce themselves. Well, it was the perfect time to know who she might get along with. A black-haired girl volunteered first, stating some tidbits about herself. She was followed by someone who didn't seem to be a native of Japan. Her ears perked when he said martial arts and she smiled knowing that someone else shared her interest. She might challenge him sometime to a match. The introductions continued until she decided to introduce herself as well.
She stood up and went in front, taking a deep breath before speaking. "Hi everyone! The name's Lee Hwaryun! I'm 17, and some of my hobbies include boxing, biking, and reading. It's nice to meet you all." she finished, believing that was enough for her initial introduction. She returned to her seat, patting Dan at the back to tell him it was about time he introduced himself too.
Dan shrugged, "No such thing as talking to much!" He exclaimed with a smile. He felt happy for her, that she could enjoy things and not be nervous or shy about it. A grin crossed his face as he saw her struggling to keep in a laugh at the silly face he had made. In truth he was glad she seemed to think he was funny. He was about to make a joke to Lee, when the teacher entered and began class. Dan raised an eyebrow, quite confused. Their teacher looked incredibly unorganized, and incredibly late. Not a very good first impression. But none the less, he watched as the teacher introduced himself, followed by two students introducing themselves. Then, Lee stood and made her introduction. He smiled up at her as she walked back to her seat. She patted him on the back, and he nodded, standing and making his way at the front, standing there a little awkwardly with his hands in his pockets, hoping his cheeks weren't visibly red. "Hey.. I'm Dan Merrith, I'm 17, and I like the unmartial arts," he said, smiling at his own, terrible joke. He then headed back to his seat, flashing a smile to Lee. "None too bad I hope?" He whispered with a grin.
'Dan Merrith' she thought to herself, repeating his name in her mind now that she knew his last name. He turned to her again, whispering to a volume only the two of them would hear. She leaned forward on her desk to keep her voice in the same level. "Nah. It was a breath of fresh actually with all the formalities." she said, returning his smile. She looked around to check just how many people were left who has yet to introduce themselves. Either they were the shy ones, of those who are planning to make their entry with a bang.
She took out her notebook, ready to start the say.

He grinned, watching her lean forward so they could hear eachother's whispers. "Glad you think so," he said with a smile, before he too began to peer around the room, guessing that the ones who hadn't gone yet were the shy ones. He simply shrugged. he had no problem with shy people. In fact, he found some of them made the best friends. He too, got out a notebook, aswell as a pencil. He looked back at her, grinning. "How do you plan on writing in that thing without a pencil?" he asked, chuckling slightly.
Kiname sat back, mind filled with sounds of Daft Punk and their electronic masterpieces they call music as he was reminded of Kyoko's comments about a crush
he continued and he would soon, stand up and walk out of class, leaning against a wall he relaxed and stretched length ways, wanting to pop his back he bent backwards and a loud "pop" could be heard
Kiname smiled gently(like in the picture) as he picked up his parasol and sat back, toying with the fabric he mumbled to himself "good ole countryman and buffoon"
Tadae snapped back to reality as something flew across her field of vision. She smiled, having found the next words for the paper. With a swift swosh of her hand, the pencil was in her hands and she was writing once again.
Once she felt that the song had reached a suitable stopping place, Tadae looked around. Everyone seemed to have become silent, well...except for the one who was whistling. Her eyes drifted towards him.
(okie dokie) he frowned and sat back, softly mumbling to himself as he begins drawing stupid cartoon strips of the teacher talking like in Charlie brown
