Emily's brow furrowed with concern as Ellie responded. Emily was convinced that there was clearly something bothering Ellie, she had known Ellie for long enough now that she could tell with relative ease when something was bothering her. But even if Emily wasn't that familiar with Ellie, her demeanour and the damp glint in the corner of her eyes betrayed that something was troubling her. Emily raised her hands again, about to invite Ellie inside when suddenly Liam appeared from behind her, causing her to jump a little in surprise at his sudden appearance. She couldn't tell if he'd been impressively quiet approaching, or if she'd just been too distracted worrying about Ellie, but Liam had fully managed to catch Emily off guard. Before Emily could properly react, Ellie was following Liam towards the living room. Emily gently closed the door before making her way back towards the kitchen.

"Ellie's here, she came to watch the parade with Liam and Lilly," Emily announced to her husband as she re-entered the kitchen. She was still thinking about Ellie, her concern for the girl still plastered on her face. Her instinct was to ask Ellie if she was okay, but she figured that Ellie would probably be more comfortable with Liam and besides, she didn't want to interrupt the parade. Maybe she would have the option to talk to Ellie later, or maybe she could talk to Dan later on.

Lilly watched Liam as he left the room, but opted to stay sitting on the couch wrapped up in her blanket and snuggling Peanut. When Liam returned with Ellie, Lilly felt a wave of relief wash over her that at least the unexpected guest was someone she knew and liked. Lilly waved enthusiastically to Ellie "Happy Thanksgiving, Ellie!" She chirped, signing the words alongside her speech before Liam started to fill Ellie in on what parts of the parade she'd missed.

Ellie walked into the house as she sat down she was happy that she had friends that she could sign to Liam and Lily was her only friend she had' Hi Liam Hi Lily' she signed as she looked at Lily and smiled" Happy thanks giving' she signed as she smiled at least she hadn't missed much of the parade' so I didn't miss much' she asked Liam what part to the parade you are excited to see i excited for the pokemon float' she signed as she was geeking out after the parade do you want to have a pokemon battle' she signed happily she was dreading going back to school but being here with Liam and lily made her feel happy Geozaki Wormy​

Liam thoroughly enjoyed the balloon and float section of the parade. He didn’t speak throughout, with the exception of an excited exclamation at the Pikachu balloon. ​

By the time it was over, it had just past noon and preparations for the big Thanksgiving meal were well underway in the kitchen. The aroma of all the different foods cooking was floating across the house. While pleasant, Liam was starting to find his senses were overwhelmed.

A Pokémon battle of some description would have been a welcome escape, but he was quite aware that was only a two-person activity, and it would be unkind to leave his sister out. He hummed as he pondered this, until his gaze landed on one of the nearby cabinets. It wasn’t uncommon for the Rhodes’ to enjoy playing board games as part of a holiday celebration. And so, his answer was simply “Monopoly.”

After retrieving the box from the cabinet, he scurried off to see if Anthony would join them. He poked his head around the door of Anthony’s room, skipping any kind of hello and getting straight to the point in a rather typical Liam fashion. “Do you want to play Monopoly?”
