1st of June, 2013 was where the world ended. No-one knows what happened or how it happened, but somehow, the human race disappeared. Leaving just us two in what was left. For a long time, we both thought we were the only ones left. Heh, it's kind of odd to think about it now, that in the ruins of humanity, a friendship was born.
But I'm getting ahead of myself. Let me start from the beginning, because that's where all good stories start off from, right? It was just one day, after everyone had disappeared....
He didn't know what compelled him, but for reason Peter had made his way out from England to Canada. For some reason he was drawn to Toronto. It was the same has back home. Deserted, empty, void of any life. Just him in a concrete jungle that seems to be screaming at him. He sighed and walked down the road, not fully knowing where he was going. On him was just a rucksack of food and drinks he had took from his local stores. Stubble was forming on his chin as it had grown overnight. He walked up to a car and smashed the window on, luckily it wasn't alarmed. He put his arm through and unlocked the door and opened it.
He sat inside and laid back, sparring across the two front seats and closed his eyes. He hadn't slept last night so this place would do, even for just a nap. He had placed his bag under the passenger seat so he wouldn't lose it. He just laid there, and started to drift off.
