Let's talk about what kind of RP it will become and what kind of story and plot everyone ones, aside from alien running amok and our characters have to somehow survive the event.

So this was my idea -- rather than a usual Alien premise, what if we've got a group who's coming in to clean up damage from an Alien and its nest, like Colonial Marines? They're putting in explosives to demolition whatever structure the Aliens built their nest in (by now they'd be gone -- someone would have cleaned them out), but there might still be Aliens left in it, they just aren't sure (hence why they're blowing it up -- to be extra sure).


They have a countdown going, and then one of their members disappears, only to later reappear a day later dazed and confused about how much time has passed and could possibly been face-hugged. They don't know.


The dilemma becomes whether or not there's a facehugger or eggs that were missed, whether there's an Alien still on the prowl, and whether to leave behind the possibly infected crew member.

Or maybe, even better. A group of cleanup team task to clean up a previously infested base, as in checking for any aliens or survivors before blowing out the base. Power went out and the next time they wake up, they are all wake up inside a nest. First thing first, they took care of the nest. Burning it down and all, before sitting down and talk about the possibility whether they are all facehugged or lucky enough not to get one yet.


Aside from a lone alien who still hunt for them, angered to find that it's nest got burned to ashes, the survivors are fighting amongst themselves. Those who want them to commit suicide rather to risk an entire ship or another colony or an entire planet, those who want to escape the shit hole, etc

Oooooh, I like that idea a lot. Let's go with that one, much more intriguing if it's the whole team. Lots of character interaction.


Let me see if I can't shanghai some people who might be interested in an Alien RP.

Or maybe instead of a base, a WY transport ship. Their secret packages turned out to be 1/2 facehugger egg that hatched. Lights out, randomized two character who gets pregnant and i tell them via PM. These 2 can either turn themselves in or try to save themselves because they heard that there are 'some way to get rid of the alien embryo', or hid in fear of being executed/thrown offboard etc

That definitely ups the ante. I do prefer the base with a nest instead of a ship, but the same idea still applies. You're the GM, you could do it either way.

For the most part, I think the original story was fine, it just moved too slow at the start.


The issue with infecting everyone, or havong unknown impregnated (very cool idea) is that you're going to put a clock on peoples lives.


I was thinking though, if we do that, maybe we have 2 of us planned ahead of time to disagree on the save me vs save the world (suicide). So at sone point theres a gun stand-off, the suicide/wait for test group controls tge evac shuttle while the selfish group runs off, planning to ambush them later.


Them we kill some npc's to throw in some aliens
