What's The Story Mother?
Here we go!
As the sun came stretching out across the landscape the world was awakened once more. There was a certain calmness about the land from high above; one would not guess with one look that this land was moving steadily towards a brutal conflict. Thus a bird's eye view does not show the movements and thoughts of the leader of the Oztroja clan, Natsuka Nobu, who had just recently taken down yet another village on his way towards Sinderia.
Nobu set his spear down on the ground, the tip facing up, and taking a deep breath he stared around at the scene caused. The village had been a decently sized one, a fishing village by the name of Gossis. The people there had not been expecting attack, but had likely heard rumors of it, so they had set up a scout to keep watch. What was unaccounted for by the scout was the time it would take to set up a defense. As Nobu’s force had come down the river and into the city they had a group of ten people set up with spears as weapons. Some of Nobu’s royal guard could have taken them out alone, but he decided to let some of his soldiers come forth from the boats still docking to take them out.
After they had fallen Nobu had gone with a group of ten to the town hall of sorts, only to find the chieftain cowering in fear at the sight of him. Needless to say, Nobu had no trouble convincing him to show him where the rest of the civilians were hiding. After the group of soldiers and Nobu brought out the civilians, the rest of the boats began docking, and with them came some of the few non-soldiers tagging along in Nobu’s party. Various people, such as some scientists, merchants, and any others Nobu had felt would be of some use.
Finally letting loose the breath he had taken, he opened his eyes to survey the civilians brought out. The chieftain had been dragged away from his office screaming and led into the group, Quite a selection, Nobu thought with a partially hidden smile, Perhaps I will think on this for tonight. A snap of electricity ran along his right arm, signalling one of the soldiers nearby to step up. Nobu didn’t turn to him as he said, “Store them all in the same cellar where they were found and have two soldiers armed with Fulmen Spiram stationed outside the door, I will look them over tomorrow,” Turning to face the rest of his soldiers behind him he shouted at them, “Prepare to set up camp!” he ordered as he walked forward to where the town hall was again, parting through all the civilians set out in the process. Standing atop the raised platform leading into the town hall he turned to face the town, his spear held on his shoulders. He would watch as his soldiers went to work and await when the rest of the Oztrojans would come into the village to receive orders.
