The anime it only had 14 episodes (which are all on YouTube) that ended with the revolt ending and shiro and the main character (it's been a while ok) sitting and talking about the red man and the woodpecker song

No the manga goes way farther than the anime the anime ended because the ratings weren't good in japan so they cut it it was on toonami for a while
