Amber watches from the cliff waiting to see how this plays it was a good way to collect data and give it back to hq she wasn't going to fight today anymore killing all those guys made her a little tired, amber sat there eatting her rice ball she made enjoying the taste of kelp and chesse.

In the kitchen of the Night Raid base, Santios was inside, cooking everyone some breakfast. He had an apron that said "I'd kill for food." He turns around, and hands Takume a plate of bacon and toast.


"Eat some meat. It's good for you. You'll need protein for the day."


Santios walks outside with two other plates, and spots Nyko and Kyou. He hands both of them their breakfast plates as Santios nods at both of them.


"Welcome back Kyou. I was wondering if someone finally killed you with your own string puns."


Chuckling at his own pun, his eyes set on the new guy, and he smiles.


"So you are the new guy. Nyko, right? I am the Vice leader of the group, Santios Diasla. Nice to meet you. If you ever need anything, just ask anyone here. Maybe not Kyou if you don't wanna hear about how a spider web is made."


Santios walks back into the kitchen, his ears perking up as he hears sound. He looks down the hall, and smiles as he sees Alice. He hands her a plate of food as well, and he kisses her cheek.


"Hey, how did you sleep?"

Alexander was already in the meeting hall of the Guards building, waiting for the other guards to discuss about his new lead. Alzie was lazily flying around the balcony, occasionally slamming his head into the wall.

"Funny guy, your little strings are pretty easy to detect without my abilities, its just a matter of who's paying attention" he steathed his Rapier "You couldn't kill me regardless so come with everything you got, I'm just itching for a good fight right about now, why don't you come out of hiding and play with us" glaring at Amber from her hiding spot.

"I hate persistent people like you, it makes it hard for me to be lazy...unfortunately for you I don't fight without a good reason~ Besides...I haven't activated my abilities yet" Kyou looked at Santios and frowned "I don't make that many spider puns. And you know I'm not one for dying, I got responsibilities that keep me here~" Kyou smoothed his hair back and walked inside to eat

Alice looked down at her food and back up at Santios, giving him a warm smile. "I slept good last night, thank you." She said, giving him an affectionate nudge since her arms were full. "Just to clarify, you brought me into my room, yes?" She asked, wanting to make sure it was Santios and not some weirdo she didn't know. That'd be very unsettling at breakfast.

Megumi suddenly realized that she had a morning meeting to attend, and she hasitly finished everything up. Oh god, if I'm late I'm going to be punished! She thought to herself and picked up her pace. Before entering the meeting hall she went back to her normal walking pace and straightened herself out. Opening the door she stepped in and made her way towards the table, seeing that Alrxander was ready there. "Good morning."

Polin came in not long after not really caring if he got told off it's not like he wouldn't work hard when he needs to so he didn't put another thought to it.

Santios laughs as he sits down with his own plate.


"Yeah it was me, don't worry about it."





He sits down, looking through the reports the Revolutionary Army sent him, checking if there were any suspicious acts from Night Raid that would give them away.

Alexander casually waves to Megumi as he looks at the stack of papers he had. He yawns, looking down at the door.





"You made it a bit early Megumi. I'm surprised. And if you're guards were as I calculated them yesterday, they should all be here on time as well."


He sees Polin enter the room, and he looks back over at his papers, waiting for the other two.

Titania hit Santios with a crumpled piece of paper with the words Where's my plate written on it. She then sat down near Kyou and opened a book.


Kyou looked over at Titania and patted her on the head "Hello to you too my sister~"

When she noticed he hadn't left yet, she looked back up at him, only to have her face held by both of his hands and he leaned in to kiss her. Her eyes widened in surprise. She didn't know what to do. Though she may be unfamiliar with such actions, it doesn't mean that she didn't know know them. When he drew back, she was merely startled, all the more when he mentioned that they'll meet again. It was almost as if he noticed her doubts. "Uh..." but before she could say anything, he was already gone.


She felt her heart beat faster and feelings unknown to her came rushing in. This bothered her. She was so used to feeling nothing that this sudden wave of emotions confused her, and she disliked being confused about her emotions. She looked back down at the necklace before wrapping it onto her katana's hilt. She'll keep it on there as she slept for the remaining of the night.

/And thus, the wait begins

Alexis yawned and stretched as sunlight hit her face. "Much better." She mumbled to herself, feeling as awake and alert as ever, much better than several hours ago. Grabbing up her satchel and sword she exited her house and walked to the meeting building, humming as she did.


Noticing Alexander, Megumi, and Polin was already there with no Tremki in sight she smiled and waved. "Good morning everyone." She spoke happily, in a much better mood after recieving some sleep, sitting down in the back near Polin. She hoped if Tremki showed up he'd sit further in the front and as far away from her as possible. "I hope everyone slept well?" She asked. Maybe Tremki will be more...sane? After getting some sleep. People act weird after not getting sleep, right? Alexis thought silently to herself.

Even though Kyou was among his assassin brethren, he was consumed by the thought of meeting Haru again. He had completely fallen for her during their little chat, though he was professional enough to compartmentalize it, and he found himself looking forward to being able to spend more time with her. OF course for now, he needed to focus on whatever the new leader assigned him...no matter how much of a bother it would be

Polin waved gently to alexis and then said" I slept ok six to 7 hours is stander for me i was testing some new tools and such".

Santios looks at the crumpled paper that hit him in the nose, and he smiles at Titania.


"Would it hurt for you to say please?"





He hefts up a plate of food for Titania, and sets it down in front of her. He stretches as he sits back down, rating his toast.


Alexander nods as he slides a piece of paper to Alexis, Megumi and Polling. He slides more information to Megumu, being the captain.





"Sightings. Three. All in the forest."

Alice let out a sigh of relief and sat down next to Santios. She began to eat her meal, occasionally glancing over to see what her lover was reading. It seemed important, so she decided that it would be best not to bother him until he is finished reading. However curiosity got the jump on her and she asked a little early. "What're you reading?" She asked, trying to read it herself.

Megumi nodded and took her seat, watching as more of the guards came in. "Yes, I'm sure they'll all be here on time seeing that they're coming in much more frequently than the previous night." She said, sitting up straight in her seat, nodding to the newcomers. She looked down at the reports Alexander gave her, and inspected each of them in great detail. "I see. Should we scout the area out?"

Takume ate his food quietly trying not to laugh at the bickering. "Thanks for the food santios" he said through a mouthful and went back to his normal silence occasionally looking over at dexter to make sure he hadn't run off somewhere. He swallowed "has anyone seen sin or Arden?" He said looking around

Once Kyou finished eating he yawned "Well, it's been...boring to be around all of you~ And as much as I'd like love to meet the new leader, I'd rather get some sleep~" Kyou started to walk away from the group.

Sin stared at the woman, for a moment he wondered what she might have been through in her life. As far as he knew everyone had their own stories and each was often just as bad as the story before that. When asked about 'his room' Sin seemed slightly embarrassed and looked away again, snickering slightly over his own actions he answered Arden's question "I never find the time to sleep..Besides the couch isn't all bad.." it was as if he almost forgotten about the situation, although he failed to mention it before the matter peaked his curiosity too much to simply ignore "Say..What were you doing earlier?" it didn't actually bother him that much at all which was slightly surprising to himself.

Polin noticed everything thinking scouting the forest alone just seem enough why not use tool or animals for part of this mission and the kid looks as though he's the sneky type i'm sure there's plenty of uses for him, but for now it's best to what megumi has in mind then go from there.

Alexander nods, looking through the papers.


"I already set you all up into groups. Polin and Tremki, you two will be the first scouts, going to the East. Megumi, you will be going with Alexis into the West. I will be going into the middle. Of course. That's my idea. What do you think Megumi."

Santios looks over at Kyou and calls out before he leaves. "Make sure to check the training grounds before you leave please!"





He sees Alice looking at the reports, asking him what they were for. He shows her some of the papers and explains. "When I was a general in the East, they found a large stock of resources, metal and such, in a huge mountain. And to this day, they are still mining it out. Problem is, the Empire is starting to hear about it. And the other reports are sightings of people in forests. That sounds like us."

"And WHY would I do that~ We both know I don't need any training" Kyou stopped and looked back at Santios "So what pray tell would I go to the training grounds for?"

Polin is ok with the plan and said" I don't have a problem with the plan to a point but wouldn't it be wiser to send in a scouting tool or an animal that can see from above, then when we know the basic situation is we can do more from there".

Tremki peaked his head over to the individual that was talking; Also appearing to be his partner on the mission "Can I ask how that would work?" scratching his head he began chewing on some more candy "I don't see how any 'flying animal' could tell us what they saw there.." standing up on the chair, which due to his sitting position wasn't that hard for him to do he used the heads of the other guards to slowly walk across until meeting with the red haired man who was talking "Is it true that you know something I don't?" he asked glaring blankly at the man eating on candy; Not that you'd be able to see his eyes anyway.

Polin turned to him then said"animals have a way of saying things in code from the noises they make that might be able to help us also i have tools which we can uses to detect some of the traps because the spray i made high lights things like wires and so on", he pulls out a medium sized dark brown spray and shows it to the group so they know what he's talking about.


Tremki thinks he cleaver so polin gives a subtle demonic smirk as if to say if you want to play games boy i'll play but don't cry when your feeling crappy after.

Tremki placed his finger on his chin and looked up curiously, looking back down he smiled "Well, if you know how to make communicate with the animal then it's a good idea" a long eerie smile appearing on his face after the man smirked. He didn't seem slightly fazed about the answer and in fact could have seemed some what interested. He looked to Alexander "Well it's about to you boss-san, but I think it'd be fun to see what's out there." hopping down from the bench he rubbed Polin's head and messing up his hair before walking off back to his seat. Tremki looked forward to working with Polin on their next job even if he was wanting to be with someone else instead (Alexis of course, he's addicted to messing with her already)
