((You didn't missed much. Assassin in the base went to sleep some assassin went to their own home. And then there is the couple in the inn, or was? I think the rp was just waiting for them to wrap up, but now idk. I think we are slowly transitioning to the next episode? Not sure if this was the third episode with the new people joining the group?))

I'm not sure if there's a need to wait for us. What's the third episode about anyway?

"I don't keep enough people in my life to get complimented, and neither do I have time and energy for that." she said, frowning as she was trying to fight back the blush. Besides, the only comments she gets from others were about how lifeless and cold she was, especially her eyes, and just as what Kyou had said, most were about her abilities. This kind of compliment was surely a first for her and now he was complimenting her even more. "If you keep doing that, I might feel obligated to return it in kind." She heard him move towards her but she refused to look at him until the blush on her face disappears. "And how can you call a killer beautiful?" That's right. There was a reason she was taught not to feel anything. Her master would be disappointed in her right now.

Even charcoal can be turned into something beautiful~ I've killed nobles who were supposedly known for their beauty, none of them compare to you...you also forget that my hands aren't exactly clean either...but you can't fault the rose for its thorns can you?" Kyou smiled at her even though she refused to look at him

In actuality, she never really gave time for herself, and to be compared with nobles, she wasn't sure if she were to take that as an honor. "So you're saying it's what's inside that matters?" The cliche saying when it comes to beauty. "Then what if this certain rose bud had nothing inside of it?" she asked him, this time turning to look at him for a brief moment before looking down at the ground. For the first time in so many years, she actually felt... empty.

Haru felt her heart throb a little and she unconsciously held a hand over it. 'Ah, it's painful.' she thought, but she didn't understand the pain. He placed a hand on her head and it somewhat brought her comfort. She wasn't familiar with affectionate actions... but she could get used to it. "Maybe... I'm..." she mumbled but she stopped, unsure of what she really wanted to say or feel. She took hold of his wrist and removed it from her head. "Thank you. I never thanked you for helping me earlier."

"I told you already," he said and allowed his hand to be removed without resistance "I'm always here to help. If you need me..." Kyou put both of his hands together and the sound of metal on metal could be heard tightening in his hands. He opened them and offered her a small rose necklace made from his wires "I won't hesitate to come...A side effect of my ability to use wires is that I always know where they are even when I'm not controlling them...all you have to do is unravel it and I'll come a-swingin'...for anything." he said to her looking her in the eyes

Haru stared at the necklace, taking a bit too long. Normally she wouldn't have accepted anything from anyone aside from payments or if it was from her master, yet, she gingerly took the necklace, holding it as if it would break with the slightest of pressures. Just this action showed her trust towards him, whether he knew it or not. Her actions surprised even herself. For her to be trusting a stranger this fast, it was something even she didn't expect.


"Alright. I'll... trust you on that." she said. The word 'trust' weighed heavily as she said it and for a moment, her master's words echoed in her head. 'Trust no one. It's every man for himself out there.' She stared at the necklace. It was... "Beautiful." Even though it was merely made of metal, it signified a hope that he created for her. "Thanks." she looked back up at him with a genuine smile.

Kyou gave her a smile of his own, he had hoped she would be willing to accept his gift, especially since he felt a connection with her. He stared at her as she gingerly looked at the necklace and he found himself lost in her beauty. "You're welcome~" he said softly to her. He looked out the window and noticed that it would be morning soon. "I suppose I should take my leave...y'know...assassin business and all that...I would rather stay here with you~" he said standing up and stretching a bit, the bruise had made the muscles around his ribs very sore from constant tightening, though he would never let on about it.

"Right.. I'll just be here." she said as she turned to the window as well, the smallest hints of the sun starting to be evident in the sky. "Perhaps I'll follow you when I'm better." With her Imperial Arm's healing ability, she should be up and well after another day or two. She didn't know what to feel about him leaving but she did hope he'd come back soon. As for her master, she doesn't need to know about what transpired here.


"It was nice to meet you, Kyou of Night Raid." It was a messed sequence of events and replies, but it was the perfect hello to someone she might not meet again. She hoped, however, that he would return again. Only then would she believe that hope really did exist in his words and in this necklace.

Kyou was almost half out of the window when he stopped, there was something in her voice that bothered him...it was almost as though she didn't think he would come back. Kyou turned and walked back towards Haru and placed both hands on either side of her face and kissed her gently. "We'll meet again Haru...count on it~" Kyou winked at her before jumping out of the window and using his wires to swing off towards the assassin base. "Hoo boy...I hope yesterday wasn't supposed to be the day the new leader showed up...that would be awkward~" he said to no-one in particular.

After finishing up work on his sword, he decided to go outside to train seeing as there was nothing else to do at the moment. Everyone else was sound sleep while he couldn't fall asleep last night strangely he didn't feel tired at all. Well rested even, weird, he thought to himself. He put that out of his mind and took out his crossbow to make sure his aim wasn't getting sloppy. He used the unpoisoned bolts so he wouldn't waste the poison on a bunch of dummies, such mixture of paralyze poison was hard to come by now a days and it would take him forever to find another bunch on a moments notice.

Takume woke up to dexter pawing at his nose he carefully picked up dexter and set him aside and tried to stand up. It took about three stubborn tries for him to stand up and he was very shaky in his walking but somehow managed to walk himself to the bathroom to brush his teeth and then to the pool to bathe then walked to the kitchen to eat collapsing in his chair exhausted from the strain it was to get ready hell that poison did a number on me but I won't go down so easily... He reached over to the counter holding onto it as a crutch as he fixed breakfast

(Oh my god. They said my power would be back by 6:00 this morning but now they are saying midnight? Fucking 6 days with no power.)


Alice woke up the next morning a little surprised to see herself in her own bed. She could've sworn that she was in a different room the previous night, but came to a conclusion that Santios brought her here. She rubbed her eyes and sat up in the bed with her feet off the side. I wonder what today will bring? Doing a quick change of clothes, she left her room and looked around for any assassins, mainly Santios.

Takume knelt down and put the bowl down for dexter then stood up and made his way to his chair exhausted he knew he'd never be able to use his imperial arm right now

Kyou hadn't meant to actually use them, he just generally laid them on the grounds in case there was an attack on the hideout "You were already within my web~" Kyou flicked his wrist again and the wires fell back down harmlessly "Besides, where's the fun in fighting someone if you don't get to kill them?"
