Before her blade could connect with Sin's body, and his bullet could connect with her chest, Ellie felt a something wrap around her Cleaver "What the hell?" She glanced up at her sword to find a rose vine wrapped around its blade. Before she could attempt to pull her sword sword away, she was swept off of her feet and pulled back a few feet. She skidded across the ground and did a roll, letting go of her Imperial Arm. She let out a groan of pain and struggled on all fours. "You fucker! I'm going to kill you!" She screamed, getting to her feet and charging Mari with her fist, completely ignoring Sin.


Noel grinned and gave Zenith one last pay on the back. "You got it mate, I'll get right on it." She said and took off towards the battle. She was trying to sneak around to the back of Sin to try and get a good, distracting shot. Four figures total. Gun man, potty mouth, creepy kid, and Rose lady. She noted, twirling her gun and aiming it at the leader. "Bam." She pulled the trigger and shot an explosive round at him.

Francesca was walking when she noticed someone, one of the 'important' guards, entering the prison. Why would one of us need to visit the prisoner? If she recalled correctly, the prison kept in there is the one from- Oh. Biting her lips, Francesca decided that she should come and see. The Night Raid is coming to pick her up, if they are not there's no reason for them to ask for a map of this building. What the hell is that guard planning to do with her? She cannot let him or her guard the package.


She entered the prison and find the guard, Lyra is her name, announced to Kiri that she will be 'transferred to a prison with high security for all the guards that you have killed here'. What? High security prison? Night Raid might break in, sure, but Francesca won't be there to help them from the inside.


"I don't think so." Francesca walked and stopped in front of the cell, blocking the exit. She pointed at the floor, gesturing at the guard, she think her name is Lyra, to put Kiri back inside the cell. "Put her back in there. I don't see any letter of permission from Alexander or Megumi."

Getting the girl's attention, Mari had felt somewhat accomplished with herself. As the girl charged herself towards Mari, she quickly squatted down and placed both her palms in the ground where the thorny rose vines began digging into the ground around her as if it were an actual living organism. I didn't take long until everything was set up and all that was seen were thorny vines sprung up from the ground causing the dirt to fling up and a web of thorns emanating a black starchy fluid from, what it looked like, within the thorns. "Yes, come. Dance with me." Mari smiled a wicked smile, her expression showed one of pleasure and.. madness..

Sera continued watching the scene unfold before her, not really thinking much of it. She just wanted to get this over with already, it was boring, about on par with watching paint dry. Sera groaned loudly when someone else walked in, causing more problems. Though, she did pose a very good point of not having a permission letter, Sera remained quiet. She didn't really care at this point, transfer or not she was about to leave and forfeit the bet. She glared at the three of them coldly with an expression that said 'hurry the hell up already'.

Sin had no chance of seeing the seeing the shot coming, he was more distracted on what was happening with Ellie as she got pulled back to Mari, he was trying to contemplate whether he should search for the other kid or help Mari. However it seemed someone else leaped into the scene. Being shot in the side he was sent flying into the forest, the right side of his coat was burnt right off and more burn marks remained on his right arm as he rolled against the ground before coming to a skidding stop. Coughing up blood his vision went hazy for a while "What..Just..Happened.." he supported himself with both of his hands, his teigu was dropped at his side..Thankfully he didn't lose grip from the blast. Taking a few breaths he looked up to see who was shooting at him, a different figure popped up and she seemed to appear as a pirate and he chuckled to himself, starting to slowly get up he placed his right arm across his stomach.


Getting to his feet he took his teigu up with him as he stood up, stretching his neck he took a deep breath taking out two smoke pellets and a grenade between his fingers, tossing them over in front of the pirate woman, he used the explosion to hopefully do some damage and at the same time act as another distraction along with the smoke screen. Allowing him to get out of her sight he used the forests as cover. Making his way behind a tree he quickly slipped his teigu in it's holster and took out bandages quickly wrapping it around his shoulder and arm, using his teeth to pull the end tight he took out a small pin and slipping it through. Taking out his teigu again, he also took out his knife, holding the knife in his right hand and his teigu in his left. "If this were a few years ago..I probably would have defected at the sight of this woman.." it's why he found this situation funny, cause it made him want to kill her even more.

Kiri looked over at the new guard she thought she was familiar from somewhere but she couldn't put a finger on it but that didn't matter at the moment this guard was getting in the way. Kiri reached in her medic kit grabbing a hold of the scalpel and pulling it out closing the box she slipped her hand into her pocket and holding onto the smoke splash potion ready for plan b if this started to go downhill

Francesca noticed slight movement from the prisoner and was really surprised to see her holding a... medical box? No, that should be more than it. She remembered about an Imperial Arm that shaped like a cosmetic box, this should be something similar. After all, how did this girl kill so many guards without a weapon?


"Who think it's a good idea to give this assassin her weapon?" Francesca asked. She actually is relieved to see that the girl has her weapon. That means the Night Raid doesn't have to break further inside the HQ to retrieve her weapon. But behind her, there's two guards that started to look uneasy and two guards that she doesn't really know. She has to defuse this situation, or a very bad fight could start and Francesca won't be able to protect her.


Francesca quickly equipped her arm, as she decided that it would be best if she intimidate her from doing something stupid.


"C'mon, girl. Don't do something stupid." Francesca asked, begged. "You are outnumbered, there's no way to run, and i could destroy the entire building if i want. Please, stop whatever plan you have inside your head."

" She said happily, loading in another explosive shot and twirling her gun. Hitting someone with her gun was always so satisfying and it never got old. However, before she could hit Sin with another shot, and sudden explosion rocked her world and sent her flying back. She rolled backwards similar to Ellie, but actually had a graceful landing. She did a backwards summersault and landed on her foot. "Ah shit." She muttered, looking down at her burnt and tattered clothes. "This was my favorite set! Stop hiding and fight like a man!" She challenged, drawing her sword in her right hand and cautiously walking in the direction she last saw Sin.

Sin heard the woman go off, he cared less about her words and stayed silent. Waiting for her to walk close enough for him to track himself around the other side of the tree and hit her from the back. Leaping to a branch swinging himself off it and going to kick the woman in the back when she got close enough "You call hitting someone from behind fighting like a man? Now we're even." if the kick landed, he would land back on the ground, adjusting how he was holding his dagger switching it to backhand. His teigu aiming towards the ground.

Noel let out a little squeak of surprise as the assassin managed to trick and kick her in the back. She stumbled forward and fell straight onto her face and took a mouthful of dirt. Taste like shit. She thought and painfully used her face to start a roll. Being around as long as she has, you know how to recover from a fight. Her back was faced to Sin, so she did a little twirl and swung her sword out, partially to counter any attacks he may try to pull, and to strike a pose. "I must admit, attacking from behind was a cowardly move, but we are even now."

Sin kept a safe distance, being able to see her swing her sword back it flew right in front of his face. Making his take a step back he let out a small shrug "I guess I should be fair then..I'll give you one chance to run away." raising his gun up towards the woman he didn't shoot, at least not yet "But I can almost bet you'll refuse, won't you?" he tilted his head slightly towards his side.

Noel grinned slightly and lowered her sword, exchanging it with her gun to match Sin. "A smart one you are. How'd you know?" She said playfully, giving him a flirty wink. It was more for affect than anything. As cute as this guy was, there was a zero chance that he would buy her a drink. But hey, you never know. "So, what do you say? Ten paces and shoot or just go guns blazing?" She asked, twirling her gun around her finger. This was a habit of Noel that she did when she was filled with excitement. Whichever option Sin chose, it would be a fun one.

Sin mused over the girl, it was almost too bad. He might have been able to relate to her, but he doubted it "A wild guess.." he found her pretty amusing even if Sin was planning to roast her. His smile slowly turning back to his monotoned expression at her last question "You do whatever makes you feel more confident." he was ready for either one.

"Such a gentleman, letting the women choose the battle?" Noel said, and gave him a warm smile. Why am I fighting this man again? She thought to herself, slowing down her twirling. Oh yeah, Cutie is going to buy me some food. Technically I'm getting paid for this. She slowed her gun to a stop so that it was pointing at his chest. "Such a shame." She muttered and pulled the trigger, firing a bullet towards him.

Ellie was startled by the thorns at first, a few of the vines leaving long but shallow cuts on her body. "That's the best you can do? Give me small cuts? Fucking wuss." She snapped, managing to dodge a few of the vines. If I can just get to my cleaver and cut that girls chest, she's fucking dead. She thought, nearing Mari, her fist raised up offensively.

Sin narrowed his eyes down the moment he noticed the twirling began slowing down, pulling his trigger at approximately the same time Noel did he also took a quick leap back. He was confident the bullet wouldn't get passed the blast he also muttered out a comment "I agree completely." he watched the bright blue light which emitted from the blast, he always saw it as a drawback as he was never able to know if he really finished them off. Using the short leap back to gain some distance it was also a way of biding time, if this woman somehow made it back out it would mean he'd be at a disadvantage.

Noel felt a sharp pain in her side, and looked down and her body. She felt a warm liquid begin to well up and stain part of her shirt red. A shit. She quickly loaded and bullet and began to run at Sin instead of away from him, her gun pointed at him and her sword not far behind. Her side hurt as she ran, but there was no time to patch herself up.

Sin wasn't happy to see she was still on her feet, although she seemed injured it wasn't like she didn't get a decent shot on him just earlier. He wanted to avoid her gun probably just as much as she wanted to avoid his at this point. Taking out the last of his grenades he tossed them all out in front of them, being a total of three left they all went off simultaneously and ducking behind a tree in case she tried shooting at him again, even if the tree couldn't take the hit at least it took off the load from him even if just by a little.

Noel noticed Sin taking out the last of his grenades, and she knew not to get hit by those again. She skidded to a halt just out of the blast radius, her arm quickly coming up to shield her face from incoming debris. When the explosions where over with she began her rush again, running through the smoke and searching for sin. "Come out!"

When the starchy fluid got into contact with the girl's blood system by the small cuts, the starch would've started to cause the girl to hallucinate. Getting stabbed by thousands of endless needles or tiny kangaroos with little monocles and a walking cane, whatever the hallucination was it could either be pleasant or not so desirable. In her case, black starch would most likely be the least of her best dreams.. Mari waited until the starch set in to the girl's mind, continuing to throw cuts after cuts to the girl even if they seem to be harmless tiny cuts. Yes girly, please, dance! You dance magnificently! You could see the darkness twist Mari's expression to a one of lesser innocence one although you wouldn't notice such an expression from all the madness of the vines.

Sin saw that she reacted to him tossing his grenades too quickly for his liking, it seemed that this woman was able to learn from her past mistakes. Which meant he'd have to mix it up a bit taking out the long piece of wire he quickly ran around the tree, lucky the smoke from the blast was still covering most both of their vision. Going back behind his tree almost instantly after he attached the wire to his knife and nailed it towards the other tree. Going for coat hanging her as she ran in search from him.

Unfortunately, Noel was not prepared whatsoever for a coat hanger, and she ran into the wire at full speed. It dug into her stomach and forced her to do a few flips before slamming onto her stomach the pain in her side intensified and the bleeding seemed to get worse. She obviously took a big blow here. "Nice one." She muttered as she attempted to get to her feet.


Only a few moments after her charge, Ellie began to slow down, her posture unraveling and her eyes widening with fear. She didn't know what that girl did to her, but it was terrible. Hundreds of terrifying insects seemed to appear out of the blue and were crawling up and down Ellie's body, biting and stinging her everywhere. Though they were fake, the feeling of the bugs crawling on her felt real, as did the pain. She suddenly stumbled on her own feet and fell to the ground, screaming in terror.

Withdrawing the vines back once the girl collapsed on the ground, screaming, Mari couldn't help but get out a corrupted chuckle as she watched the girl's pain and suffering. Getting up as the vines retracted back up her sleeves, she took a few steps towards the girl up until she was right above the fallen child. "Tell me darling, were you a ballerina when you were young?" Knowing that the girl would most likely not answer to the question as she looked down with horrific intentions in her eyes, wrapping the thorny vine around the precious little girl's frail neck.
