Santios grimaces as he sees the captain land down. This wasn't going to be easy now. He looks at Alice, and seesnthat she forgot her Imperial Arms. Damn, this was gonna be a hard one.


"Alice, just try to stay behind me."





And with that, Santios rushes in at Megumi. The two guards probably didn't expect for Santios to charge in, but this was his method. Unpredictability is his go to strategy, and he hoped this would work. Santios marks a dagger, and he throws it at Alexis. He turns to Megumi, and slashed at her.

Alexis nodded and walked off beside Megumi a bit before also walking closer to the two. It was obvious something was up, they'd realized their real reason for being here. Sure enough a few seconds later a dagger was flung directly for Alexis' chest, emitting a small squeak of shock she just barely dodged the blade, getting a shallow cut on her arm.


She didn't hesitate in drawing her blade and activating her Imperial Arms, a clone of herself moving in front of Megumi and blocking the slash from Santios. While her clone stood in front of Megumi for the time being Alexis came at him from the side, aiming to take out his legs with a slash aimed for the back of his left leg. She didn't put enough force in her strike to cut it off or anything, just enough to go deep enough to matter.

Polin laughed and continued to run and said" Tell ya what i don't mind when i have time but your buying the ingredients because i'm making it for you after all" Polin just realized he sounded like a dad.

Santios grimaces as his left leg buckles. On the bright side, his mark was now on Alexis's sword. He snaps his fingers, and the gravity on the sword is now immensely intensified, the sword now weighs around roughly half a ton.

"F-Feelings?" Haru stuttered, taken by surprise herself with his 'explanation' of the pain. She placed a hand over her chest, feeling the same pain she had been experiencing lately. "Such... Such things don't exist in me." she said, her eyebrows furrowing. She turned away from him. "This is a side effect of the drugs, isn't it? Or did you do something too when I was unconscious? This all started last night." She refused to believe this were her emotions stirring up. Just like what her master said, they were only hindrances to people. She lived by that creed, and she didn't want to get lost by straying from what she knew.

Kyou said smiling to himself, then he was accused of doing something to her while she was unconscious. It was Kyou's turn to furrow his brows "Hey now....feelings exist in every person no matter how much they suppress them. All I did was show you kindness and a caring hand and your feelings sprouted forth on their own."


Kyou stared at her back for a couple of seconds before letting out a sigh and a small smile. He once again put his hand on her head and comforted her. "Like I said the other night, no rose bud is empty, it's only a matter of patience and care...Do not feel ashamed of these feelings...I feel the same way about you"

Takume was outside in the woods searching for his sword amass the pile of carcasses from the night before kicking the one who poisoned him "fucking asshole how did you do that without me seeing" he finally found his sword cleaned it of and sheathed it feeling a lot better and started to run back to the base when he heard a battle ensuing and went in to the clearing quietly to check it out "fuck I should probably go help..." He activated his armor and ran in barreling into megumi tackling her to the ground "hey looked like you could use some help!"

Megumi was a little surprised when Santios made the first move, dashing forward with his sword drawn. Fortunately for them both Alexis created a cline to block an incoming attack, giving Megumi time to draw her sword and go in for another attack v. She jumped behind Santios as he attacked the fellow guard and attempted to cut the backs of his legs. "Alexis, get the girl!"


Alice felt horrible. Because she forgot her gear Santios was forced to fight three people by herself. She desperately looked around for something she could use to help.

That simple gesture of him placing his hand on her head, she found solace in it. This time, she didn't push away his gesture but he did mention that he felt the same way. She allowed his words to circulate in her mind. "Doesn't it hurt? Ngh.. I can't let my emotions run loose like this." she said. Again, she was struck with that feeling. That feeling of being empty. "Empty. Why do I feel so empty?" she whispered to herself. All these new emotions were so foreign to her and it confused her greatly. It made her think too much into things.


She shook her head, trying to push away the thoughts from her mind. "I'd prefer it if you do not follow me." she told him nonchalantly before sprinting off towards the forest.

Takume drew his sword and stood as a barrier between Alice and the guards "Alice run!" He waved his hand turning their armor to water it falling away to reveal whatever clothes they had underneath "I suggest you two back off and just leave me and my friends alone." He smiled under his helmet which only showed his eyes "you stand no chance against us" maybe a little cocky but I need to get their attention some how...

"I'm not leaving you and Santios here! Give me a knife or something." Alice commanded, not planning on leaving until the fight was over.

Haru had run off before Kyou could answer her question "...Only when you pull away from me..." he said quietly to himself and started to let her go on her own. "...Crap...don't tell me she's on the job...she's thinking too much about her feelings...no, no I'm sure she'll be fine" he said and turned in the opposite direction of the forest. Kyou took 10 steps in that direction before immediately turning and making his way towards the forest.

He stood his ground not letting the girl pass him he lifted a free hand and rocks and water from all around floated in the air and turned into metal plates which he stood between Alice and the fight blocking the attackers from her he charged Alexis swinging his sword in a downward attack attempting to decapitate her as she tried to pick up her sword

Alexis' clone immediately dropped the sword before the sword dropped her, it made a sizeable dent in the ground before dissapearing. At that point Alexis willed the clone away altogether, it'd done its job. Alexis started to dash for Alice once she was sure Megumi was in the clear but was stopped short by a guy in massive armor. Of course...of course they send a guy in massive armor that can just melt my armor off. Great. She thought to herself nervously.


She didn't want to be here fighting...but that's just how the world works. Sighing internally she brought her sword up and blocked the slash to her head.


When an attempt at forcing the blade away failed she instead pushed herself back and away before steadying herself in a defensive posistion. "That was rude of you to melt a girls armor ya kno'" She told him, smiling. Gotta stay optimistic, c'mon..you can do this. Creating another clone it immediately knew to run around beside the man to attack at two angles. "Who said there wasn't more of us?" She told him before both her and the clone moved in to attack, her aiming for a thrust to the chest, the clone a disabling blow to the legs.

(Just a heads up, we are trying to set something up for episode 4, so the assassins have to lose this battle.)


Alice let out a little gasp as the ground was destroyed and made to make metal plates. She was actually really mad at this as it destroyed such a beautiful place. A place for her and Santios. Alice began to run down the plates, trying to find a way to get around.

Megumi saw the other assassin rushing towards Alexis and trying to attack her. "Alexis, coming from the front." She warned, turning her attention back to Santios.

Seeing that Sin hadn't opened the scroll completely, it seemed he had the same thoughts of it being trapped as she did. Chansu, one of the girls that Arden had first met when she joined, had arrived mentioning something about needing more training dummies not too long after. As Sin mentioned a mission, Arden was fully alerted for he did say that next mission she would come to show her full worth. This could be my chance to prove myself.. At this point Arden was actually somewhat greatful for that women's arrogance.

(Ok cause I wanted to make a new character anyway)Takume jumped over the clone slicing it in half as he landed this is going to be easy spinning around he brought up his sword in a defensive stance waiting to see her next move and thinking that Alice had left already he took down the wall which seemed to leave no blemish whatsoever on the clearing he metal plates seemed to melt and floated behind him swirling in a liquid like motion

Amber watched them from the distance thinking so they have a new member to the party and i see there's the ignorant prat girl that just blurts out info and thinks i didn't notice her when she first met me if i wanted to kill her she wouldn't had time to draw her silly little fans i swear the world is filling up with dinosaurs and ignorant idiots that assume far to much or expect to be spoon feed with out any compromise. I also see the scroll hasn't been opened well not my problem if they get killed because they don't open it and of course it's in code hq did that on purpose but there's hints so they should get it. Well people will you make it in time or will this be the end of the so called night raid.


A member of the shadow team said to amber"Leader i hear their are some powerful guards coming i'm also curious to see how they hold up not really interested in the leader his fighting style is boring if i was to make a bet i wonder how many of them will live through this".





Amber said" Good point i bet two hundred gold that at least two of them die in this fight and finally i get to see them sweat after the nonesense i had to go through i makes my blood boil with excitment".


Amber threw a small a medium pouch to the man the others put their gold in the bag looking forward to seeing who would win the bet they just made.

Alexis stumbled a bit before re-gaining her footing, not expecting that kind of mobility from someone in such heavy armor. She frowned as her clone got cut in half and dissapeared. She didn't summon another clone this time, not so close together, so it wouldn't tire her out too much. Despite him being able to jump like that, he shouldn't be able to re-act so quickly with that big sword..I'd think.. Alexis thought to herself.


Readying herself she instantly dashed forward in an effort to gain as much distance as possible to move in close with her short sword, aiming another thrust as his abdomen. There were certain non-lethal posistions on a body wherein you could stab a person and it'd weaken them as well as cause them to bleed to death given enough time, a certain spot on the stomach area a few inches below the rib cage was the exact area she was aiming for. A precision strike aimed to take him down in one blow, should it land. If he moved even slightly without fully dodging it it stood a good chance to puncture his liver.

Takume let it hit his armor skidding off in an array of sparks and knocked her blade down to his feet where he stepped on it pinning it to the ground "would you just give up already I don't want to hurt you you don't seem like you want to be doing this just as much as I don't" the metal behind him held to her sword and turned to lead weighing down her sword so he could move his foot "I'm pretty sure if my friends get here you two will be done for and I'm pretty sure you dot want to die" he did a backflip taking another defensive stance

But it's my job as a guard to at-least try." She told him, sighing. She attempted to lift he sword by failed terribly, it having been anchored to the ground by the lead. The only other thing she had at her disposal was medicine, even if she made a clone she was no longer holding her sword so the clone wouldn't have one.

She was officially out of options altogether, if he wasn't wearing that armor she would have attempted hand to hand, but all that would have served was to get her hands broken and her dead. "Couldn't even complete the simple task of capturing an un-armed woman.." She muttered to herself. She contemplated the idea of summoning a clone to help her lift the sword, but it wouldn't matter considering it couldn't pierce his armor.


"What's that armor made out of, anyway?" She asked him. Might as well talk to the guy until Megumi finishes her fight, she might need me when she's done after all. Alexis thought to herself.

"The blood of chaos" he walked past the girl towards megumi but stopped all of a sudden with his back to her and his head down "I'm letting you go don't take that lightly it's not something I do often you guards usually repulse me but you're different I would take a closer look at the side you chose" he continued towards megumi she's stronger even with the two of us this might not end well he ran in attacking megumi from behind

Santios slashes at Megumi, holding her back. Thankfully, somehow Takume was also here, even though it was a very very secret spot, but right now it didn't matter. He looks over at Alice, grimacing. He couldn't let her get caught. Takume and him could handle Megumi and Alexis. Takume was string enough for Alexis, and Megumi and Santios seemed decently even.


"It seems as though you want our comrade, Guard Captain. However, I simply cannot allow that."





He slashes at her, attempting to mark her with his gravity mark. Out of the corner of his eye, however, he sees a small, silvery owl hooting. There weren't any silver horned owls in this forest. Those were only native in the North. Wait... Santios's eyes widen in horror as he turns his head and shouts at Takume and Alice. He sees Takume run towards his and Megumi and he shouts.





"Takume, Alice run! We can't wi-"





Suddenly, massive iron spikes start jutting out of the ground, slamming into Takume and Santios. Santios is flung back as he coughs up blood. (Oh, don't you worry. The assassins are going to lose.) A huge man starts to walk towards the group, the little silvery owl hooting above him. Alexander sighs as he stares at the assassins with a deadly glare.

Alexis nodded when the man walked by, "Th-thank you." She managed to stammer out. She figured he would have finished her off at that point, but she was glad he didn't. Guess I really am kinda useless, an assassin doesn't even think I'm worth killing and he hates guards.. Alexis thought, sighing. She couldn't do much other than watch the fight and pray Megumi won at that point, so she did just that. Turning she watched the battle rage on. Much to her surprise giant iron spikes jutted out of the ground and slammed into the two, "Wha-" she spoke in surprise, walking backwards a bit to make sure neither landed on her. Alexander walked out soon after, she didn't have time to lose.


Noticing the obvious opening and distraction she suddenly got excited This is it! I can capture the girl with them distracted! She thought to herself, a happy smile spreading across her face. Quickly making a clone she turned and ran for Alice, aiming to grab her from two sides and hold her in place.
