Air Gear [Roleplay]

::As Tsuna flew up, Suiken unloaded his pressure-valves, sending him skidding sideways beneath Tsuna::

Suiken: "Woo! this things can go!"

::He strafed up the next wall, and shot over the rooftops intent on keeping his balance, and not splitting his head on the speeding pavement underneeth::

Kumiko skidded to a halt as she came to the top of a large hill. From her vantage point she could see the path she needed to take to get to her customer's house... Unfortunately she had fifteen minutes to get there and going at the rate she was; she wouldn't get there until ten minutes after her deadline.

"Fourteen minutes.. Twenty seconds." She muttered to herself, looking about quickly for a faster route. A determined look appeared on her face as she saw her new route. Bending her knees, Kumiko shifted into a different position; one better suited for speedy travel. A moment passed and she suddenly launched forward off the hill, her body curved through the air as she aimed for the rooftop of a building below her.

Thirteen minutes, forty seconds. Kumiko counted down to herself as her AT clad feet hit the edge of the rooftop and she shot forward across the flat surface to leap over the gap between the building she had been on and the one before her.

::The trip back to the school was much shorter than the run home. Before Suiken knew it, he was already there, and he slapped a sticker on the wall, right next to the front gate.::

Suiken: "Allright! Just slap a few more of these stickers around, and we'll have out very first territory... Don't want to waste them all quite yet though, I'm still too broke from buying my ATs to order more stickers right now!..."

::Suiken shot up the building to sticker his favorite spot on the roof::

Rolling onto her side Rina huffed, she had tried to make the jump over fifteen times. Each time ended where she was now, lying on the ground in pain wondering if she broke anything. She needed more momentum, more strength, to make the jump and be able to attack the target. Forcing herself up she looked at the distance again it looked impossible at the moment, she'd never make it.

Her surroundings; were the outskirts of town where nothing but windmills stood, she used the hills as her landings. No one could see her worn-torn efforts here, not her failures or her success, she liked riding in the barren. Looking at the windmills again, she took a big breath and went to try again she would make it this time.

Inch by inch, slowly, Okita Sougo was approaching his enemy in the ring. His guard kept up and his left foot in front he mentally got ready to launch himself towards his opponent in a dash. He shifted his right foot for the dash, while keeping his guard up. He stopped the dash a feet away from the poor soul standing unlucky enough to face off against Okita Sougo. The sweat on his body and face got blasted off by the sudden start and end of the dash.

The glint in his eyes was like the one you see in an animal's eyes before they pounce on their target, stern and focused. He started giving sharp, compact, left jabs towards his opponent's face, the pressure from the fast and frequent jabs made the enemy use a high guard which left his body wide open.

Okita Sougo didn't let the chance slip by and gave 2 consecutive liver blows to his adversary before finishing him off with an overhand right hook to the temple.

The opponent who was bending over from the liver shots collapsed to the floor after the temple blow, his body bouncing off the matress in a weak, unconscious state.

After changing and leaving the locker room Okita sighed, he was glad he found something he was good at. But he detested the ring and it's small compartment, he felt so trapped in there. He walked along the riverbank towards his house, which was also a fisher-shop run by his mother and himself

He was pondering whether to quit boxing or continue when he suddenly heard some shouting coming from the bridge just behind him, then he saw a woman and man gliding over the railing at insane speeds, the bridge... and probably the entire city was their playground Okita thought. The thought of joining them, again, was very real and pressuring.

He had raced and done tricks just like those two in his younger days but he gave it up after the casualties were steadily rising among newcomers, he thought he was setting a bad example and that he was no longer worthy being king of the Gaia Road. So he hung up his Air Treks and started a new lifestyle. Soon all his former friends and teammembers, of the former Shinsengumi, left him.

Staring at the bridge where the two people had passed through so smoothly he lost himself in thought, when he came back to his senses he had decided.

He was going to start the Shinsengumi up again, but he would need new members and he had completely lost track of the AG environment.

He continued to think about it whilst walking towards his home.

Kirino raised an eyebrow at Martin's conditions. "You plan on quitting your team to join the enemy?"

She remembered the cuts and bruises that marred his body. "So that's how it is, huh?" she murmered.

Jumping down from the roof, she sped across a long wall and spotted the pier looming closer in the distance. She saw Martin wince, and leant forward in an attempt to overtake him.

"Don't talk bullcrap, you don't get into a team like ours without an invitation! And like hell a snot-nosed idiot like you is getting anything like that from me!"

Martin now fully recovered see's the girl passing him Damn, why couldn't I manage gaining speed while on the ground!! He looked somewhat angry but more so disapointed. He jumped off the roof of one building to the buildings along the shore line. I'll just have to use air to my advantage then "Well we'll have to see--" His leg gave out to his injuries causing him to fall off the roof and into the water. So "close" He blacked out so close to the Pier though even if he could catch up the girl had already made it. The blood wasn't slowing much, though Martin looked somewhat relaxed dispite even unconscious knowing he lost.

Meandering about finding good riders and how to best connect to them so that they'd join the Shinsengumi he made his way home. Okita was in a good mood, he had won tonight's match and he had finally reminisced with a lost love, Air Trek.

" Hey mom, how are you ? "
Okita asked upon arrival.

" I'm good, kind of exhausted from hauling all this fishing equipment back from the boat but otherwise ok. How did the match go? "

" Sorry I wasn't here to help, but I won my match and I have something to tell you...I'm going to restart the Shinsengumi. "

His mother's eyes widened in fear and shock, her jaw dropping like a brick in water.

" Re...Restarting ? But I thought you quit that dangerous sport...Okita listen ... people DIE in that sport...please don't do this! "

Okita Sougo waited 'till his mother had calmed down before approaching her and answering.

" I'm sorry mother, but I have to do this. Ever since I quit I haven't been the same and you noticed, I know you did. I felt alone and trapped... like someone tore my wings to pieces and caged me. I have to do this. "

Sobbing, his mother answered: " Ok, but promise me you'll stay stafe and that you'll take care of yourself and your teammates. That everyone will be alright. "

" I promise. "

Kirino turned and slowed to a halt, having seen Martin fall into the water. She rolled her eyes. "Why do I hafta play the hero?"

Despite her complaints, she removed her air treks and dove in after him.

Moments later, she resurfaced holding an unconscious Martin. She pulled both of them up onto the pier, and lay the boy flat on his back.

"Okay, I'm alone, this guy's unconscious, and I have no medical ability whatsoever, what do I do?"

She paused for a moment.

"BANZAI!" she put her fists together and smashed them down onto his chest.

Okita was reading the newspaper when something caught his attention. There was a school abandoned because there was a huge scandal about the staff, it instantly gave Okita a place for his newly reborn team.

He set out with his Air Treks and one of his emblems to place on a visible spot in the school, so that other teams know that that spot's been taken.

Gliding over the asphalt and railings he felt so free and alive it paled boxing in comparison, he felt like a bird, flying freely over the world, nothing in its way. After a while he arrived at the school, he did a handstand on the outer wall before jumping over it and gliding his way to the main building where he placed the emblem above the door, for all to see.

( OOC: The img represents the inner court of the school. )

He spend an hour exploring the corridors, classrooms, basements, rooftops and courts of the school before heading back home, he took his time enjoying the breeze and views. He was in a great mood now.

He coughed up a load of water, his breathing completely fine. Whaa-- His eyes opened and he looked up seeing Kiri "Huh" he was somewhat red staring up at her. "I'm guessing I lost..." He sat up and punched the ground hard. "Dammit!!" He stood "Well a deal is a deal... I forced you into it and I lost" He looked away still red "You never said what happens when I lose but I'll leave you alone" He turned and started walking anger all over his face. Why did I have to lose!!

Kiri watched him walk for a while, considering his sudden change of mood. Not knowing what else to do, she picked up a rock from the floor and threw it so it hit him in the head.

"Oi!" she called, "You think you can just leave it at that? Get your butt back here! You've got to take your punishment for losing!"

He stopped when the rock hit him and turned with a questioning look "So, What's the punishment??" He stared at her A deal is a deal, especially if you lose. He waited for her response the sun lowering ever so slowly and the wind dieing down. "I'm ready" he smirked as his hair moved covering his eyes.

Kirino put one hand on her hip, and raised the other so she was pointing at him.

"You lost the match, so you have to make it up to me by being my subordinate for all eternity!" she threw her head back and laughed.

::Tsuna sped up it seemed like he was slowing down more and more::

Tsuna" huh?"

::Tsuna's legs aches as his will told him to push harder he pushed and pushed until he looked back the pavement behind him was being stripped away slowly. How fast was he actually going?::

Tsuna" Woah?"

::Tsuna looked at the buildings of the school blurring in the wind. Tsuna struggled against the drag and reached for the stickers. He flung one onto the school's flag pole another one on the gym wall then Tsuna fingered his last one.::

Tsuna{this one has to be special!}

::Tsuna leaped at the nearest school building he looked at the highest pillar in all of the campus::

Tsuna " the bell tower..."

::Tsuna's AT's spikes began to grip into the building. It was now a uphill battle. Tsuna felt his momentum slipping::

Tsuna " I have to do like before!!"

::Tsuna's muscles screamed in protest it became apparent just how tired he was. Maybe power wasn't the key.. Speed and momentum is!::

Tsuna "HYAH!"

::Tsuna pushed off the school wall and grabbed the flag poll by him he swirled connecting to the wall again with momentum. He kept speeding up higher and higher! Tsuna leaped landing on the roof::

Tsuna " I think I got it Suiken!"

Martin smirked "As you wish" He said kneeling on one knee, mostly out of injury rather then respect. He stood, barely, and turned "So what exactly do you and your team do??" smirking hoping to get something good to do... doubting it in the back of his head though.

"For starters you can dry off" Kirino replied, handing him a towel. She kept a few around the area for when stuff like this happened, which was pretty often. "And then you can lay the hell down and not die on my pier!"

She looked around in case any of the other team members had shown up, but none had.

"I wonder where the others are..."

Martin caught the towel and started drying off "Ok." he said sleepily it had been a long day. He knew his old gang wasn't going to let this settle so easily. "Uhh, where should I rest??" He walked and leaned against a wall, his injuries obviously getting to him now. He looked around "Yeah, don't you have other members??"

Kirino scoffed. "Figured you'd know by now, considering your old gang of do-gooders make an attempt to kick the crap out of us every other day..."

She handed him some bandages, and started heading to the end of the pier to look out at the sea. It was something she did a lot, and before she'd become a user of Air Treks, she'd often dreamed of going out to sea, which was how the team eventually got their name.

"Don't you have any family or something? You might have to see a doctor..."

Kumiko grinned victoriously as she slid to a halt at the front door of her customer's house. Three minutes to spare She thought, pausing for a moment to straighten her clothes. She brushed off her package and ran the doorbell, a moment later an elderly lady appeared and handed her some money and Kumiko gave her the package.

"Sorry for the inconvenience! I hope my services have been acceptable. Good day ma'am." She told the woman politely, before skating off. Kumiko rolled off on her skates at a leisurely pace. She pulled out the money she had been given and began to carefully count it.

Martin laughed out loud "Do-gooders, pfft, those idiots were in it for themselves and themselves ONLY. The assholes obviously didn't listen to my order to stop attacking your territory a couple months back... I should have finished them off" applying bandages "when I had my chance like what, an hour ago." He tied them tight enough to stop the bleeding but not cut off the circulation through the wounds.

Martin followed Kiri to the pier and sat a few feet back watching the sun finishing its daily run. "I used to have a family... But they back stabbed me about an hour ago... Yeah... My crew was my family... I wanted to form an alliance and create one big Team." He just kept staring at the sun though he showed signs of embarrassment. "Doctor... Ha, I dealt with my other wounds myself." He smirked and lied back staring at the sky now

"Families, never could trust'em I guess, I mean we got together on the streets. All of us kicked out of our homes, we didn't let that stop us though." Laughing out loud again "Well, just another lesson learned right??" He started dozing off.

*Hanako... This is for the group*

*Early The Next Morning*

::Suiken woke up, and crawled out of bed, he stumbled downstairs, and grabbed his breakfast and school stuff, as well as his new pride and joy Air Treaks::

Suiken: "Oh, I can't wait to bring you to school today... I think I'll name you Sidewinder!"

::He glazed over it for a few more seconds before stuffing it into his backpack, and stuffing the rest of his slightly burnt toast in his mouth::

Suiken: "Mey! Tsuna! mits Amost time Mor Scwool!" *his mouth crammed full of tost*

::He swallowed it all down with a glass of orange juice::

Suiken: "Hurry up! would you?"

While Rina was flying, it seemed like everything was going in slow motion and she looked at the windmills again. They managed to create energy just from the force of the wind, if only she was able to...

All her thoughts stopped at the moment, could she do that? The only way was to try now, she slowly extended her legs and her wheels spun as she tried to push out the same air that was hitting her. Then her wheels stopped, Rina panicked and the slow motion suddenly began to get fast, the ground came and she hit it. Surprisingly the only thing that broke were her AT's, cracking into many pieces as she rolled down the slope.

Although she made it to the other side she was not happy, she sat up and looked at her AT's again, pulling them off into a bag. Rina sighed and slowly started getting up, she had a good theory she's just not sure how it would work. Slipping on her shoes and looking at the terrain again she wasn't sure what to do with herself anymore. Glancing inside the bag she supposed she could try a mechanic shop, and slowly made her way to town.

She looked up at the sky as she strolled, it seemed like it was already the next morning she had spent a long time there. Rina yawned, getting tired now that she knew it had been an all-nighter for her but she kept on her way, trying to walk the 3 miles it took to get to town.

When she got there though, she had no idea where to go and asked a passerby where to go, she was directed to a mechanic shop owned by what she heard was a daughter and father. On her way, Rina looked at the roofs jealous she could not ride up there, with a stumble she started paying attention to where she was walking. Finally getting to the mechanic shop she stood there for a minute, dusted herself off, and knocked on the door.

The sun shone over the trees and horizon whilst Okita was riding on his AT's towards a mechanic. He passed the broken down school he had claimed the night before and an instant smile appeared on his face. He was slowly rebuilding the Shinsengumi. All he needed now was a fun bunch of people.

He slid over the asphalt, railings and rooftops before coming to a halt at the only good mechanic he knew, there seemed to be a customer already waiting though. It didn't surprise him, the mechanic was run by a family and they were both skilled and good workers. He pondered for a moment thining whether they would like to join the Shinsengumi, he brushed off the idea, he had no idea that the daughter was into AT afterall.

He slowed down his pace and spotted a lightpole near the shop, he jumped and grabbed it, tight enough to hold himself up for a second before he slid down in a spiral. Jumping off the pole a few feet above the ground as to not lose momentum he cheerfully stopped behind the customer waiting at the shop.

" Hey. "
He said cheerfully.

Kumiko let out a sigh as she stretched her arms above her head. She was still rolling along at a slow comfortable pace, but nicer than the fast adrenaline rushing fast pace she had been doing earlier. Her eyes were closed and her arms crossed behind her head as she approached her mechanic shop. Kumiko was so completely out of it she didn't even notice the customers that were standing by the door... At first.

She paused as she began to open the door to the shop and turned her head to look at them. Staring for a moment. "You're customers right?... Wait dumb question. Why they be here if they didn't need something fixed!" Kumiko said, face palming herself for blond moment.

"Come on in~" She said, rolling through the door and moving behind the front desk of the shop. Sitting down in the large chair behind the desk, she bent over to begin taking her AT's off. Once that was taken care of she stood up and looked at the customers. "So what can I do for-..."

"Honneeey! I'm hooome!" Came a man's voice from the back room, followed closely by obnoxious laughter. A change came over Kumiko in that moment, her eyes narrowed and a dark look appeared on her face. "Excuse me, please." She said politely to her customers before turning and grabbing a large wrench.

She moved and stood a yard or two away but aligned right in front of the back room door. 5... 4... 3... 2... Now! Kumiko silently counted down, holding her arm back and then releasing it. The wrench arched and sailed through the air, tumbling end over end. The door opened and a blond mechanic stepped through only for the wrench to impact his face and sent him crashing to the ground.

"That's for ditching me at lunch and making me deliver YOUR packages! MORON! Next time I'll fire you!" She screamed at him, before huffing and moved back to the front desk, smiling as if nothing violent had happened at all. "So how may I help you?"
