Through the science of microtechnology, a miniature motor has been developed with the power of a four wheeled vehicle. After this development, there are now crazy people who mod their rollerblades. Making them faster, able to fly even higher! With these extreme devices, they dash down the streets at blistering speeds. Since these people's appearance, everything has been turned into a road.

Welcome to the world of Air Treak.

This roleplay we will be taking place in America in a cityscape. There are schools, bridges, junkyards, docks, trains, you name it! There are no references to specific characters or teams from the manga or anime, although many of the regalia are still attainable.


Anouncements:


There's a group of stormriders called the Black Cyborgs going around town abusing their power, I will grant Brain Charger the the person who does the best job in dealing with them (Black Cyborgs are an NPC team, and can be RPd without any outside influence, but a team would help. Their leader is a class C rider named Slate)


Note: Slate doesn't specialize in any road, but is skilled in ATs and hand to hand combat

Suiken and Tsuna Naito are half brothers who share everything including a love for Air Trek. They race home from school one evening to fine their long awaited custom ATs have finally come in the mail, and they hurry back to the school grounds to forge their team, and their new territory. The next day, on the way to school, they run into a group of Black Cyborgs which they drive away.


Meanwhile...


The Grey Torque, and the Sky Pirates. Two teams that have always hated each other have just emerged from a rather nasty conflict. Martin, the old leader of the Grey Torque had just been ousted by his first mate, and the rest of his crew, and he still had the injuries to prove it. Seeing no other option, he challenges Kiniro, the leader of the Sky Pirates, his long time rival, to a race, which she accepts. The two of them make a dash for the docks. However, during the match, the already injured Martin slips and falls in the water, and is saved by Kiniro. As his punishment for loosing, Martin becomes Kiniro's subordinate, effectively becoming a Sky Pirate. The next morning He enters the same cafe as Kiniro, and she accuses him of stalking. Angrily, he leaves the cafe and runs promptly into his old team, who proceed to attack him again.


Meanwhile...


Kumiko is a skilled mechanic who runs a mechanic shop in town. She receives a phone call from a costumer about some parts, and she delivers them via Air Trek.


Meanwhile...


Rina painfully drilled her basics moves such as the jump by herself on the outskirts of town. One one of her Many attempts she manages to break her ATs, and heads off to Kumiko's shop to get them fixed


Meanwhile...


Okita Sougo, a once renowned AT user in his younger days, had quit due to a change in lifestyle, but was finally starting to get back into the game, and the path to reclaim his title in the world of AT. He also stops at Kumiko's shop where he runs into Rina and invites the both of them to join him in his team.

::Suiken Naito was sitting on the rooftop of the school watching the sunset. It was a gorgeous evening. Not only was he getting his custom ATs built this very moment, but his half brother had just invited him to join his team (which was fully expected, of course), and was getting an emblem made::


Suiken: {Man.. a little longer, and I can test out my new ATs... I wonder if bro is around to see this...}


::he did a running jump off the edge of the rooftop, and grabbed the flagpole. it was one of his most adrenaline pumping and speedy ways of getting down. He slid all but a few feet from the bottom and dropped the rest of the way::


Suiken: {Time to head home, I hope my AT's are good and ready...}
 
::Tsuna Naito grinned as he took his first step on the roof of the school. He eyes his brother::


Tsuna "OI SUIKEN! I'll race you home!!"


::Tsuna flashed a plate of metal::


Tsuna " The winner gets to decide what the emblem will look like."


::Tsuna stuck out his tongue then bypassed the pole completely that punk jumped straight off the roof landing on a canopy below::


Tsuna yells back up " I'm a fair team founder aren't I?"
 
::Suiken Naito looked up, startled slightly, a slow grin slowly spreading over his face::


Suiken: "I left my good ATs at home... but you're on!"


::He took off across the parking lot and jumped the fence to the roof beyond it already making steady progress::


Suiken yelled back: "No hard feelings if I win, right?"
 
::Tsuna was hot on his half brothers heels::


Tsuna " Yeah right I'm the fastest man alive!!!"


::Tsuna sped up he hopped the fence ahead of his brother::


Tsuna " So brother what are your dreams?"
 
::Suiken was panting slightly as the wind caught him, and carried him to the next roof, he made a sharp cut down, and slid easily along a railing::


Suiken: "Dreams? I want to fly this coop, and show the world what we can do!"


::He cut low and sharp again sharply sweeping right in front of his brother's legs, almost tripping him::


Suiken: "And you? fastest? maybe if we were on flat ground, but we both know I have the better footing here!"
 
Kirino stretched her arms out toward the sky. The sun was going down, which meant it was time to head home. She threw the bag containing her Air Treks over her shoulder and headed on her way.


"Grey Torque... what a pain!" she muttered, scratching her head idly while she walked. "If I missed my anime, they're getting a pipe bomb tomorrow morning."
 
Martin was now following the girl that passed by him awhile ago just before his crew attacked him Assholes!! They don't understand that I don't give a shit about them!! angry showing on him as he followed her trying to catch up. "Hey!!" He called out trying to get her attention he was finally catching up using air time now.


Hope this works looking at her while riding along beside her he asked "Mind if we race??" still showing a bit of anger but obviously trying to hide it. His wounds were obvious, from the 4 on his left leg, 2 on his right, the tear in his shirt bleeding the worse and a cut a long his forehead.
 
Kumiko sighed as she laid beneath the frame of a car, working on the engine above her. Today had been a long one, customers calling every five minutes to yell at her for not having something done. "Stupid... Jammed... WORK YOU STUPID PIECE OF JUNK!" Kumiko growled as she slammed her monkey wrench against the rusted gear she was trying to fix. She stared in shock as oil spilled onto her face.


"Just great... Just freaking great..." She muttered, sliding out from beneath the car. The mechanic's shop was completely empty, typical of course... The instant lunch rolls around her stupid co-workers ditch and go riding Air Treks while eating. "I'm so docking their pay."


She moved off to the bathroom... Which seriously needed to be cleaned, they ran a mechanic's shop not a bio-hazard waste dump... Kumiko turned the sink on and began to wash the oil off of her face and neck, groaning at the sight of the stains it would make on her shirt.


A loud exasperated sigh came from her throat as she heard the telephone ring once more. "Someone shoot me now..."
 
Kiri gave Martin a once-over.


"You look like crap." she replied bluntly, "But sure."


She took her Air Treks out of her bag and pulled them on as she walked, and started rolling beside him.


"First one to the pier." she called, grinning as she spun around and raced in the opposite direction. She jumped onto a nearby wall and from there, to the roof of one of the houses.
 
::Tsuna growled as the wind caught him panting::


Tsuna " I-I-I will break the sound barrier!!!"


::Tsuna barely managed to jump over his brother's legs::


Tsuna " Ha Ha!"


::Tsuna pulled out his skate board::


Tsuna " This is nothing compared to AT but it'll do!"


::Tsuna grinded on the rails doing a three sixty turn around Suiken!::


Tsuna " But I'm the one who spends his time on wheels the most!"
 
::Suiken growled slightly when his brother pulled ahead::


Suiken: "Dammit! that's cheating!"


::He vaulted the next fence, and pushed through some shrubbery in a slightly different direction::


Suiken: {he mught move quickly on pavement on that thing, but he can't take it on MY shortcuts!}


::The distance between the boys and the house was closing, Suiken could just see it on the top of the hill, Suiken's breathing was coming in short and hard::


Suiken: "Just a little further...!"
 
::Tsuna smiled::


Tsuna { I'm only stalling him so the deliverymen can bring in the special customizations.}


::Tsuna enjoyed seeing how far he could push his brother. It might someday show him how his brother was as a rider::


Tsuna " Almost there!!"


::Tsuna hopped up with his skate board grinding the fence::
 
As she turned and already started their race Martin continued forward, jumping onto and off of a bench right onto the building and turning and catching up to Kiri again. Kiri being slightly ahead get Martin to crouch slightly as he begins passing her every time they both do air time and her passing him when they both remain on the roof he looks at her "You never let me finish, if I win I want in your crew" with a completely straight face.


He was obviously still just toying with her, but he guessed she was toying with him too. He removed his hands from his pockets and zipped up his hoody now gaining a vast gap between the 2 of them. He jumped from one house across the street to another now going straight for the Pier. He winced in pain on the landing and nearly bailed.
 
::Suiken launched himself over the next few fences, and dragged himself up the final fence, and into his backyard confident on his new shortcut::


Suiken: "Whew *pant* that was...a sprint all the way from the school! *pant, pant* Now... where's Tsuna..."


::He crossed over the lawn and reached in his pocket for his keys to the back door::
 
Kumiko began to dry her hands on a sort of clean towel as she headed over to the ringing phone. Setting the towel down she picked up the phone. "Ishikawa Mechanic's shop, this is Kumiko how may I help you?" She answered brightly, sounding cheerful and not like she was about to hit someone with a two-by-four.


"Oh you placed an order for a delivery? I'm sorry who was the person who wrote down your order?... Alright thank you."


Eric! You are SO fired!


"I'll take care of your delivery personally. May I have your address please? Thank you ma'am."


With that, Kumiko hung up the phone and just sighed. There went her plans for a nice quiet lunch... With a frown she ran over to their supply stores and packed up the part that was to be delivered. She taped it up securely and put it into her backpack. She was about to leave when she ran into her desk.


"Ouch!" She cried and rubbed her temples in annoyance as she heard a crash in her desk. Opening a drawer, surprise fluttered onto her face as she saw her old AT's.
 
::Sweat dripped down Tsuna's face as he launched his board down onto the front yard in time to meet the Delivery man::


Delivery man " I have er, Air treks for a Suiken Naito."


::Tsuna grinned cheekily::


Tsuna " I'll sign for him it'll be a surprise."


::Tsuna signed the man's clip board then was handed a pair of AT's. Tsuna sprinted into the house he slid on his butt in time to meet Suiken at the door::


Tsuna " I guess it was a tie."


::Tsuna winked all too knowingly while holding a box of what could be the boys future::
 
::Suiken unlocked the back door and entered the house to see Tsuna standing by the front door. A smile flashed across his face::


Suiken: "Damn... this could be problematic if it keeps up. stop doing that damnit..."


::He glanced at the package in Tsuna's arms::


Suiken: "Could that be...? is it really?"


::He tackled Tsuna, playfully wrestling over the box::


Suiken: "Give that here! I wanna open it!"
 
::Tsuna quickly wrestled away from his brother. Tsuna stuck out his tongue::


Tsuna " I'll get mine then we'll have a real race!"


::Tsuna sprinted upstairs into his room, he grabbed a similar box and sprinted back::


Tsuna " Say, Suiken anything special about yours?"


::Tsuna smiled ::
 
::Suiken ripped open his box, and pulled out a brand new pair of ATs::


Suiken: "Yep, check this out"


::he pointed to a series of vents and chambers built into the sides of the AT::


Suiken: "The way I heard it, the spinning wheels builds up pressure inside here, and then gets released out the sides. It's still a prototype, can't wait to try it on. What did you do with yours?"


::Tired as he was, he began strapping the ATs to his feet::
 
::Tsuna grinned devlishly as he pointed to the spiked wheels on his AT::


Tsuna " You are out of luck bro. When these wheels get traction they just keep me going and going."


::Tsuna strapped on his AT::


Tsuna " so where to ?"


::Tsuna wiped his sweat logged fore head::
 
::Suiken dug through the contents of his box, and came out with an emblem and a stack of stickers::


Suiken: "Way ahead of you there.


NightHawks... catchy, huh?"


::Suiken got up and balanced carefully on his new toys::


Suiken: "it's almost dark, but if we hurry, we can stick these around the school. Let people know we've arrived. Then tomorrow, we can ask around at school to see if anyone else has Air Treak"
 
::Xavier was stunned::


Xavier " Do you stay up all night doing this stuff?"


::Xavier smiled::


Xavier " Lets see who can get the most emblems on the school."


::Xavier grabbed a hand full of stickers and carefully put them in his pockets for quick access::


Xavier "Eat my dust!"


::Xavier grinned as he got the head start bolting out the door the sun setting behind him, skating came naturally to him since he skate boarded, but the speed was like nothing he had ever felt::


Xavier " Yes! Yes! This is the speed I've been waiting for!"


::Xavier grinned. He swayed from side to side trying to keep his balance::


Xavier " Whoa..."
 
::Suiken wobbled out the door behind his brother::


Suiken: "Still... tired... not... used... to..."


::The pressure mat inside Suiken's ATs kicked into gear, and Suiken shot down the hill::


Suiken: "This is awesome! See you at the school!"
 
Kumiko laughed out loud as she leaped through the air, the AT's on her feet shone in the sunlight despite being pitch black. She landed on a railing of a long staircase and tilted her feet so she could slide down it with ease. She jumped off the railing at the last moment and landed smoothly on the sidewalk. More laughter came from Kumiko as her AT's launched her forward at great speeds, she flew down the side walk; maneuvering skillfully to avoid hitting anyone. Tucked beneath one arm was the package she was delivering.
 
::Tsuna swayed to one side falling down the hill::


Tsuna" WAAAAAH!"


::Tsuna recovered by pushing his spiked AT's off the side of the walls beside him in an instant he rolled back up::


Tsuna " no problem."


::Tsuna leaped off the hill as high as he could


Tsuna's " Flying..."


::Tsuna's eyes widened with ecstasy::
