Oh yes, and Xai will likely not make it a quick end either... He'll draw it out just to make a point

You know, I actually had a discussion with some friends about sorcerers not too long ago. they said something that they aren't as good as the other casters late game... But then I reminded them about a few other things and it helped remind them that they are more powerful than they seem to be. The way I see it is that Sorcerers are indeed one of the more powerful Arcane casters around.

Wizards are smart, but take their book away and they are as useless as a cadet in guard training. Warlocks are fearsome, but they only really got that way on borrowed power. The Divine casters are okay, but if they do anything to stray from their faith then they could lose the power they hold dear to them. and do we even need to talk about the jokes about Druids and rangers? Sorcerers never had to worry about any of that because they are naturally talented. So much so that they can actually cheat the spell slot system with sorcery points. The only down side to them is their D6 hit dice, but the way I see it that's not because "it's a caster and all casters should be squishy", but because the sorcerer is so immensely powerful with magic.

I'm just worry I'm slowing the campaign down. I try to keep up but everytime I come back I feel like I'm still behind.

You aren't, you weren't even the last to teleport. Heck if anything you are keeping up, you are just taking your time to read and think things through (Sort of, that random warp was pretty funny how lucky you got). If you really feel bad, then maybe stick around more. if you have time to kill stay here, refresh often if need be. You are holding no one back, the party is just REALLY big.

Yeah, with so many characters there can be a LOT going on that doesn’t actually move the party anywhere, but it’s a lot to catch up on, especially since unlike a lot of RPs with this many characters everyone is in the same group because DON‘T SPLIT THE PARTY RIGHT dr xenon ???

Ah yes, the old "Never Split the party" trope. Never seemed to yield anything too horrible for me honestly. But let's be real, you are just in two different buildings about on the same block
