TyranntX - how do you want to run the rounds? Do you want to know about any default actions we might take so you can move us forward if we're sleeping or stuck in back-to-back-to-back zoom calls? (7 1/2 hours today. I've got to block more time in my schedule!)
I'll bat cleanup! You guys got pretty damn lucky with initiative, more than half the party is going first before the Wyverns get a chance
Is Evora's fear of dragons going to have any effect on her during this wyvern fight? I hope it's not a problem considering she goes first in the turn order.
it would be cool if there was like, a map we could use and update after each player's turn to see where things are
TyranntX - regarding combat process: Do you want us to do all the rolls we might have to do on our turn just to keep things going.
example:
Option 1:
Digging into his primal energies Vrail raises his Tetsubo over his head and lets out a rage-filled bellow as he charges the nearest foe, "LEEEEROY JENKINSSSSSS!"
OOC:
Vrail uses Rage
If he's within 25' of an enemy he swings to hit. Otherwise full move to the nearest enemy.
Vrail swings to hit (use dice roller, gets result of N)
Vrail rolls for damage in case he hits (use dice roller to roll damage of X)
Option 2:
A series of posts back and forth figuring out if anyone is within range and if I hit or not, and then how much damage I do.
Could this maybe be used? I think you can export maps as images to use online. inkarnate.com
right.. sorryOnly issues are that one, we would have to update the image constantly.
and two, most of the features are locked behinds the pro version.
An idea concerning maps: How about a spreadsheet, e.g. with Google Docs or something? It's not fancy, but perhaps it could still be useful.
Formatting the cells to squares and perhaps coloring them in for terrains could be enough to give everyone an overview of where they are in relation to everyone else (and the edge of the flying ship). Even if it isn't updated every turn, we could write in our posts on what square we are (C6, E17, ...), and refer to the spreadsheet for distances and so on.
you don't need to. You share a link to the actual document and anyone can access it without any need to sign up. Everyone with a gmail account has both of those naturally so..I could look into something like that, Only problem is not everyone has or uses google Drive/docs.

I can confirm. I've had to use the online stuff for presentations and pc gaming stuff before. You can share as view-only or to be edited. The creator just needs to set permissions. You can go in anonymously tooThat's what I was thinking of. I think there should be a possibility of sharing documents (as read-only or with editing permission, I think) with all who have the link, too, without them having to sign in/up. I don't use Google Docs all that much though, so I'm not 100% sure.
If it ends up not working out, though, I'm sure we'll manage without a map, too.
you can link it as view-only so we can just be redirected lol even see if you change anything in real-timeCurrently figuring it out now, I have a gird. I just need to figure out how I'm going to post it here (last time I did it was too big an image )
You go do that with your bad self!
