Well. Like I said with Equusheart , if you feel left out then you should use your spare time to stick around more.

That defeats the purpose of a play by post setting. If your going to advance the story without letting players respond to things that should have happened before hand then it might as well be a session based game. Its not like people have been silent for multiple days on end. I’ve been lucky enough to be very active the last couple of days but that’s definitely not going to be the case all the time.

This is what usually happens with so many players. The only real way to handle it is to really slow down.

They do. But even then I still need to be handled more slowly with this many players. Like waiting for more players to post between GM posts.

Or like, two players interacting need to wait for someone else to post before they respond to each other more than once? Or that, waiting for every player (that's not announced to be absent) to post. That would give people like Felis , Equusheart and me time to be involved. It would cut back on the speed at which stuff progresses..

Well I need to know which you are doing... if you are running then you get zapped (opportunity attack from the rat), if you are fighting then you stay put

Some of his attacks are roll to hit, but his stats are so insanely high it wouldn't matter. That advantage is mostly rolled as insurance to avoid crit fails... so you may counter-roll, but I can tell you here and now. unless all his dice land on 1, he's not going to miss

So ... If he has more than one to hit roll in his opp attack I can only counter one of them. And if any one of them is going to kill me it's pointless

But you and the party were scripted to die in the first chapter anyway, you will be revived in the next chapter though so don't you worry... if anything you just helped speed things up
