Age of Heroes

He sees the arrow fly by and feels more strain "dammit, nows not a good tine!" He says to himself as he draws his katana blade and and stands in a battle stance as he then turned to Cedric "Yes, i am hiding something. But its for the best, its not just for my sake.. Its for Roses as well, now concentrate!" He looks around and sees the bandits as he grins slightly and points his blade to one of them
 
Meanwhile, in Etheros, the doors to the dungeon opened, a chilly wind was felt as one entered it. The area was lighted but it was dim. The dungeons were filled with doors and traps, all leading to the unknown. It may seem that the whole dungeon was a maze, made so that those who were in, won't easily leave.


In one of the rooms, in the deeper part of the dungeon, one can feel a force that is intimidating as one gets close to it. In that room, Kirva sits and waits with Cavell's Breath. He waits for the Heroes with his newfound knowledge as he had entered the dungeons ago.

The eight bandits charged towards the Heroes, armed with daggers, shields, and swords. They clearly had the numbers advantage and felt confident.

Rose saw the arrows and bandits then she heard Akira and she groaned " But I wanted to " she huffed and pulled out twin daggers and attacked one of the bandits by throwing a dagger and slicing with the other then she retreaved the one she threw and looked around for more bandits and began fighting the others not getting a scratch until one cut of her bandage exposing her mark of the red Dragon and she kept fighting trying to hide the mark but failing

Cedric started yelling at them getting their attention. He started ramming them and showing off his shiny armor. "I remember the old bandits they like anything shiny." He caught all but ones attention who was focused on Rose.
 
One of the bandits closes in on Akira, the bandit swings his blade but Akira knocked the bandit back by kicking its shield and breaking it. and then slashes at the bandit as he falls to the floor caughing blood and eventually dies, he then sheaths his blade as he says "Guys we need to get out of here!"
 
Cedric was enjoying this too much to let it go. He was letting the bandits hut themselves by dodging or using his dagger to move the momentum to another bandit.
 
" We have to leave now! Akira I have to! " Rose yelled above the sound of battle and she looked to him for an answer and she tried to hide her hand but her mark was clearly visible as the bandits surrounded them
 
Two bandits came running towards Starfire. "You know I'm tired of having to fight you guys all the time." One swung at her and she ducked and and tripped him and gave him a nice kick to the head knocking him out. The other one started charging at her she swung her swords at him attacking him. Finally getting him to the ground she lifted her sword to stab him but stopped. Instead she knocked him out. She heard Akira yell out about leaving now but Cedric seem to be having a little to much fun. "You having fun over there!"

Cedric was laughing as he didn't need to do all too much to these bandits. "Of Course!" Two of the four bandits that were after him were down and the other two were having troubles trying to circle him without hurting each other. "More fun then lying down at least."

Akira turned and looked at Rose as he said to her sternly but with slight worry in his voice "No! Dont use it, its not safe. If you use it the Corrupted King will be certain to sense the magic you emit. I didnt go through all the trouble of sealing hust to watch you throw it all away!" Hthen turned and started to walk out the forest as he knew he should have kept most of that quiet , walking past the dead bandits

"Ha weirdo" She said shaking her head but she had to agree well a little bit anyway. She heard a noise behind and she swung her sword at him knocking him out. "Well I think that was the last one."
 
Seth saw how they fought, and he was slightly relieved of thinking they were completely helpless. Seth said to them, "Follow me.", as he exited the forest. As he did, the scenery turned back to the normal, dull green fields. Looking back at the forest, it surely was standing out. Its colors and aura was full of comfort. But, it was time to move on. They had a quest.


In a few minutes walk away from them, the huge Fort Mirage lay before them. Its gates were wide open, and no sign of life was seen in or around it. It looked as if it had not been touched for years, for it had mostly been covered in dust and cobwebs.

Rose yelled and did a back flip knocking out a bandit and she put away her dagger and shoved her hand in her pocket to hide her mark then she walked next to Akira holding a dagger in her right hand and she put that one away as well and shoved her free hand in her pocket as well little bumps on her left hand where her mark was
 
At least they didn't see my true fighting style yet thought Cedric. He followed Seth after taking some of the stolen currency off the injured or knocked out bandits. Never know when we might need some money. "420 currency... weird..."


(Sorry don't know what the currency is but I'm assuming the bandits had at least some soooo)
 
Kinalt briskly walked down the main hallway of the dungeons, his footsteps echoing eerily down the decrepit halls. Before reaching the second door to the antechamber, Kinalt froze, suddenly alert of a presence further within the dungeon. It was powerful, emanating an energy similar to that of King Moya. Reaching for the door, Kinalt was interrupted by spikes emerging diagonally from the floor on either side of him. The spikes, made frail by centuries of idleness were no match for his enchanted armor, and simply shattered upon impact. The meaning, however, was clear to Kinalt. Slowly opening the door, Kinalt prepared himself for other traps that might lay in wait ahead.
 
Akira looked at Rose and smiled as he said quietly "use It when the time is right. And only then, or when you feel that it needs to be used but for your own protection" he smiled at her and then looked up to see the fort. "Well... We're here then..." He smiled and then looked behind to see the forest, it was obvious that everyone hid their true fighting capabilities
 
Rose walked next to Akira and then she said quietly " I would never unless you where in trouble and couldn't yourself you know that " and she saw the fort and then whispered again " You have the backup bandage ? " and she showed him her hand with her mark and shrugged
 
"Fort Mirage, huh. Seems like it was abandoned." Seth said as he saw the huge structure. "Let's enter it and finish this." Seth walked into its dusty doorways, entering the huge room it gave. It was as large as a town, enough to house at least a thousand people.


In the darkness, something moved. It was large and somehow scaly yet furry. Nobody noticed it, but it surely did take note of the Heroes that had entered its territory.

Rose smelled around and said out loud to the others " Blood....I smell blood " and she looked back to Akira
 
Akira looked at Rose and nodded "its a very potent smell isnt it.. Everyone be on your guard, rose.. Stay close"
 
Cedric walked in. The smell and the overall vibe were enough to kill a man but Cedric thought of himself as more than a man and plugged his nose and followed.
 
Rose nodded and grabbed Akiras hand then she shoved her left hand in her pocket and walked the smell of blood was getting to her Dragon side and she licked her lips
