Christine Laurance - 'Calamity'.PNG
As Christine waited in the hotels main lobby for Himori her attention quickly fell upon the fire alarms suddenly blaring, rushing through the hotel and checking the rooms for people and for the cause of the fire. She moved as if her body had a mind of its own, as she tried to recall which room she had left her most important asset - worried that it was in the same room as the cause of the sudden panic. Was it the second floor? Fifth? Or perhaps the basement? Her mind shifted to finding and putting out the fire for the time being, as as she finished checking every room on the first floor she heard something somewhere above her. Somewhere in her memory the sound seemed familiar, her feet carrying her up the stairs in a hurry as she checked the room the noise was coming from. As her eyes fell upon the source of the fire she froze, a burning corpse softly crying out for its soul laying in the middle of a bed - within a steel coffin with the lid having fallen to the wayside. Their body was mangled and deformed as if it had been pummeled and sliced apart by a meat grinder, limbs barely attached by strings of muscle and exposed nerves. Their bones were exposed and broken beyond repair, and their skin was all but gone as it gradually flaked off as ash. Christine slowly approached the coffin the body rested within, lifting the fallen lid off from the floor and sliding it back onto the casket as tears streamed down her face. Unbeknownst to her the spider cam Takumi sent out was watching what had happened, and as the flame aura around her glowed brighter the door slammed shut behind her and all of the vents leading into the room suddenly crunched in upon themselves. The raging fire in the room gradually burned her ghostly form as she cried and sobbed atop the coffin her former body lay in, and as the flames subsided as they choked without fresh air, the rest of her form began dissipating as she looked to the spider cam.
"Sorry... I'll try to explain everything when I return from my slumber... Just be sure to... keep the lid firmly... attach..."

Christine's ghostly form dissipated before she could speak all of her instructions, the whispers of her form seeping through the steel lid of the coffin as the corpse fell completely silent. Her duffle bag, guns, and phone fell atop the coffin lid, with the last of the flames being smothered by the suffocating smoke filling the room.

Takumi was a bit dumbstruck when she saw Christine crying over the body. Was it someone she knew? Did she have anything to do with the fire? As the flames died down, he let out a sigh of relief, and heeded what few instructions were given to him through his Scout Spider. "Don't let anyone open it. Got it." he said to himself. Meanwhile, Tsu helped get people out of the hotel while he controlled the small robot to check other rooms and corridors for anyone left behind. "Once things are settled down, we might want to open that room's window, though, to let the smoke out." he muttered to himself, "Get the air circulation going too." He then moved the scout spider out into the hallways and began using it to check all nearby rooms and corridors for any sign of the fire spreading, using an infrared scanner to detect heat signatures.

After confirming there was none on the second floor, his scout spider came across someone just exiting the stairwell. He seemed too young to be a pro... Ah, right! he recalled seeing him before. Isamu Nakamura. "Eniac, patch me into the spider's speaker." he instructed, putting on an earpiece with a mic.

"Yes, sir." Eniac replied, connecting the device to the spider.

"Yo. Nakamura." Takumi's voice came from the machine crawling along the wall. "Stay out of 209-B. Fire's out there, but it's full of smoke, and doors and ventilation are busted. There's another reason, but that will have to wait." He informed him. "Mind checking the third floor with Eniac while I check the first? The fire itself didn't last long, but it doesn't hurt to be cautious."

Takumi scanned the areas on the first floor for any signs of damage or fire with caution as he awaited his response.

Admittedly, seeing Takumi's ai gave a somewhat sense of relief as it at least illuminated the dark and it seemed generally helpful. Though Yu couldn't help but wonder, who'd get to the bottom of this incident first, Takumi or the motel staff. Surely the hotel staff were competent enough to fix this? Either way, Yu suspected he wouldn't be much help as far as tech was concerned.

Yu eventually turned to see what Tsuyu was looking at. His legs wobbled around like jelly, nearly causing the boy to fall to the ground like a limp noodle. He managed to toughen up, but was completely disturbed by what he saw. Christine wept for the person. Yu couldn't even comment on the subject. What would he even say? He felt bad for them? He wished someone could have saved them? It was all a lot to take in.

Being a rubber boy, there was little Yu could do to put a fire out. It eventually was dealt with. He nodded at Tsuyu.

"Going outside would be good.i think we all can use some fresh air" He said. Yu made his way outside and sat there with a vacant expression. He wasn't in the mood to swim anymore.

The school nurse had cone inside after speaking with some of the staff members to help handle the situation. As a skilled doctor, he leant his hand where he could. He saw some of the students and the body they were looking at. He approached it. Even with his medical skills, saving them was no longer part of the equation.

it was a bad scenario, but somehow Rahm had seen worse and didn't react much. Turning to the students in the room.

"This is pretty serious. Are any of you guys hurt or need anyone to talk to?" He asked.

~Yashi Shimizu...~

Yashi had been at the hospital for a while. Chatting away with an old man who's family would not be there for his final moments. For a week, Yashi had visited this man in the hospital and even made friends with 3 of his family members. But now he'd soon get his true reward. A new friend in the form of his old friend.

As the old man gave his last few breaths, he could feel himself leaving his body. Was this heaven...? No. He was still in the hospital room. He could see his lifeless body in front of him as he was dragged away from it. Yoshi's sick twisted smile was the last thing his soul saw before everything turned white. Yashi had successfully attached his soul to himself. His body looked at peace. Yashi would leave the room, with the doctor's and the old man's family none the wiser. He pretended to feel bad, but laughed hysterically when he walked turned down the hallway.

Isamu Nakamura, New York City (USA)

Isamu had attempted to begin going up the stairs, his goal to find where the fire was, only for the intercom to suddenly come alive as someone seemed to speak though it and even had addressed him by name! Well his last name but hey it was still directed at him as he seemed to advise him going up to the second floor where the fire had been.

"Room 209-B..." Isamu said, making a mental note as he attempted to retort before the voice on the speaker seemed to advise him to check the third floor for others with this Eniac guy and while he'd rather try to fight the fire directly he figured there was some plan involved and he nodded along.

"R-right! Heading to the third floor now mystery voice guy!" Isamu called out, loudly in the hopes they'd hear him before he dashed up the stairs as he attempted to head to the third floor as if there was some plan to save the people here he knew he needed to lend a hand.

Isamu Nakamura, New York City (USA)

Isamu had been focused on getting to the floor he needed to, when a sudden voice seemed to speak out to him. He glanced to his side but saw nothing, till he trailed the voice higher and saw what seemed to be an (Overworked) frog girl who happily greeted him and seemed to introduce herself as she said she'd accompany him and given the circumstances he had not been in position to refuse the help.

"Oh nice to meet you Asui. I am Isamu, Isamu Nakamura. I wish these were better circumstances but I appreciate the help. Do you know what caused this fire?" He asked her, as he presumed she had been at the scene longer than he given he had just arrived himself.

Either way, he motioned her to follow him as he moved further up the stairs to the third floor as directed by that mystery voice guy, he presumed she was working with that guy but the context had been less important than controlling the chaotic situation at play. His concern for now was to just try and save the day here.

Isamu Nakamura, New York City (USA)

Isamu listened to Tsuyu as she explained the situation best she could, seemed that some hero was on fire inside the main room and that they had been given clear instructions not to open it. That seemed dumb, how were they supposed to help if the person on fire they had been told to stay away from!? Isamu seemed annoyed by that but he figured whoever gave that advice had to know what they were doing so he just worked to keep close to the frog girl as they tried to find other ways to help.

"Yeah, this is giving me some weird vibes. I don't know, I feel like we should go in and see what is happening." Isamu said, as his hand seemed to be coated and shifted to Sand, a display of his Quirk as the temptation to go inside was growing stronger.

Mikael was out and about, taking care of his quirk's curse. He needs to feed on human blood to keep his abilities working properly. Finding a spot across from the hotel where the UA kids are staying, he sits and waits for Thomas to come out. I'm not going to wait for villain attack. I'm going to kill Thomas as soon as he's isolated from the other students. Like a hunter waiting for its prey, Mikael remains perfectly still while watching the hotel door. I can even break his poor little heart by blowing his little girlfriend's cover as a villain. Then I will STRIKE HIM DOWN! The one thing he needed to watch for was other teachers patrolling the area. Mikael couldn't get caught before he's had his revenge.

Eddie Gears
Eddie felt the shock when reaching the pool of water, the chlorine and other chemicals having a different effect. Eddie was knocked out, before realizing he had been forced to teleport miles above the hotel. “Crap” Eddie was still drenched, the only plus side binge that the normal water wasn’t burning him. Eddie was slowly and surely getting dried by the wind and his descent, but he knew that he wouldn’t be dry enough to teleport in time. He had teleported above the building, he wouldn’t be able to maneuver to the pool for a safe but risky safety. Eddie panicked as he fell, trying to dry himself off desperately as he fell.

Isamu Nakamura, New York City (USA)

This whole situation was wild to say the least, he expected just to meet up with his classmates and enjoy a trip to the states. Now they had this blazing inferno and everything seemed to go to hell, literally! Either way Tsuyu seemed to guess he had been a newer face who just arrived as the young man sheepishly rubbed hi shead.

"Y-yeah uh, I got transferred to the Hero Course. Was supposed to meet you all proper today but uh, never guessed in such dubious circumstances." Isamu said with a sheepish smile before Tsuyu seemed to mention that they needed to join the others as they had "done all they were supposed to" which caused his eyes to widen. That's it!? They just track the fire and then, leave? What about putting it out!?

"W-what and leave the fire? We can't do that! Aren't we supposed to stop stuff like this as heroes?" He asked Tsuyu, the idea of just leaving the fire going seemed to befuddle the young man who looked at the door and seemed to half consider busting it open so he'd attempt to try and quell the fires. Admittedly his abilities and fire mixed, rather poorly, but he just struggled to imagine walking away.

"I can assure you Master Takumi is already taking care of that. He's hacked into the Hotel's systems and is using the fire safety systems and surveillance systems to spot, seal, and extinguish any further fire." A voice droned from above. Crawling down the wall came Takumi's mechanical scout spider, which hopped off the wall and perched onto Isamu's shoulder. "Greetings. I am Eniac, Takumi Akibano's artificial intelligence assistant."

Back in the dining room, Takumi's phone was wired to a battery for a power too he found in the utility closet, giving his phone plenty of extra power. As he checked the rest of the cameras, wherever he spotted embers or smoke, he would set off the sprinkler system in that section and seal fire doors as needed, while also checking to see if everyone was out. He noticed a ping on his life sign scanner on the... Roof? Why would anyone go to the roof during a fire?! Takumi sighed irritably, then patched into the PA system. I hope the circuitry isn't fried...

The PA speakers crackled to life on the floor Tsu and Isamu were on. "Alright, the fire's not a problem anymore, but I need you two to do me a quick favor." he said, "There's one life signature on the roof. Someone's up there; not sure why, but I don't want to take chances. Could you investigate that real quick? I'm going to double check the hotel to make sure I didn't miss anything. Then I'll regroup with ya once I've packed up here." He assured them. Sure, he couldn't do much without his suit if whoever was up there was dangerous, but an extra pair of hands could always come in handy, to say nothing of the other devices he had.
