Fantasy Aether: The Age of Light OOC [being rebooted]

Omega and I are writing a post just where Andwyn and Dominicanes go their own way, with Andywn heading to the scene of the crime. So you could probably ask Omega just to be sure. :)

I want to say the industrial level that Hogan's Forge occupies is near the very top level of the city. The upper class markets everyone else is posting in, and where the dwarf died, are one level below. The rationale is that skilled craftsmen take a lifetime to hone their trade, and so are more valuable than merchants, tavern, and innkeepers and therefore occupy a higher level of the city. Above the industrial level are aristocratic living quarters, where nobles keep their mansions. Most of these mansions are for minor nobles who live in the city and wait on the king daily. Some of these mansions, however, are empty most of the year, reserved for nobles from other regions who need a place to stay while in Alcamoth, which they only need for short periods of the year when they make appearances before the king or during big events like the wedding. Above the Aristocratic Living Quarters is the top level with the royal palace, Grand Chapel, and Grand Library.

Does this work or is there already some idea about how city levels are arranged?

Alcamoth is very vertical.

So yes! Works for moi

While also being the name chosen by a variety of Roman Pontiffs, he's also Dom's friend.

SO, I ain't writing tonight coz I'm tired, gonna sit on the sofa and play Fire Emble - but a few updates:
  • Lissa's gonna be playing at Keidivh Keidivh 's tavern tonight, partly to lay low, partly because she's been putting a few feelers out to find the Merchant our dead Dwarf friend sold the ring to. That will lead into a Quest in chapter1. Might have some Organization conncections Dalamus Ulom Dalamus Ulom
  • Lucrezia will probably have Gore's room searched, but what with the wedding coming up she hasn't got a great time to spare. She's also about to get dragged into a fairly big argument between the Kinbg and Ulfric at their estate.
Those are the only things I need to do this side of the wedding. I'll be ready for a time skip after.

I have all three as well, not that great at them mind you; I don't like the idea of micromanaging a person's profession, love life and the genetic makeup of their children.
I'm not for that eugenics stuff.

I am the opposite and all my children will be perfect.

You going after the lady with the blue hair? Isn't that the only way you can have two children?

Oh right, you're a female Corrin, I get ya now. I really liked the idea of family in the game; do you choose the family you were born into or the family that raised you? It's a great dynamic, so I'm glad they added the mode where you choose neither!

Fire Emblem is like my favorite thing ever. Besides Breath of the Wild and Ocarina of Time.

I prefer the older Fire Emblems myself, as well as the newer Shadows of Valentia, but I was particularly fond of Conquest as far as Fates was concerned for its superb map design and uncompromising difficulty. I thought Awakening was overall the better game than Fates, though. All of them pale in comparison to Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn as far as I'm concerned, however. That story is just too well-written and Ike is just 2 stronk. We like Ike, and all that.

I feel like Awakening was the real branching point for people to get really into the Fire Emblem series in the past few years anyway. I remember getting it there on a demo a few years ago and said to myself, "I have to get this game!"
