Brief Personality: Violet is the type of girl to catch you off guard. Beautiful, sweet, and innocent on the outside. But on the inside? She's feisty, likely to break your heart (almost literally) and a rough-n'-rowdy tomboy. She doesn't take kindly to threats, nor does she tolerate any sort of hateful action. Before becoming the Slayer, she was the sole female in a punk rock band at her old school, where she played the drums. Which came in handy when a vampire attacked the talent show...wooden drumsticks make good steaks in a pinch. Violet is loyal to her friends and would die for her family. An expert on keeping secrets. This tomboy is fiery and likely to kill you before kissing you...but not in a weird necrophilia was. Violet can be a handful, brave and dealing sassy comments and brutally honest opinions, but she's still a nice girl who does her best to make things right, even when she makes mistakes. She's learned to not judge a book by its cover, for anyone who judges her by her cover is usually gravely mistaken.




Extra: Sophomore at Riversville High School, plays the drums (looking for a band to play in), loves pointy things, owns a collection of vintage Star Wars action figures (don't ask), and has a part time job at the Riversville library. She lives with her father, uncle and older cousin. And fun fact: despite having superpowers and fighting demons for a living, she's scared of monsters. Irrational monsters, that is. A vampire lurking about? No problem. But a six feet tall turtle that breathes fire? Jinkies!​

Brief Personality: Trained to be a Watcher since he was a young boy, Charles was secluded from the other children. He always had his nose in a book and his mind somewhere else, the Watcher's Council always checking in to see how he was doing. Following family tradition was boring, but he did so with respect and honor. He'd much rather just be a teacher than Watcher, but everybody has to deal with their lot in life. Or so he believes. How a teenage girl can fulfill her duties as a Slayer and not die? He'll never know. Charming, reliable and intelligent, Charles is the ideal Watcher, even fitting the stereotype of a mentor figure for a comic book hero. While he's not too fond of the Slayer he's been assigned to and relocated to in Riversville, he deals with it and does what he can to help Violet (and to some extent, her friends) in the fight against the forces of the supernatural.

Extra: Not fond of the Slayer, not fond of the idea of involving anyone not tied in by destiny. Loves to cook, wishes he was married and had a kid or two. Works as the AP English teach at Riversville High School, where he's able to keep in touch with Violet through out the day and keep an eye on her. And just in case, he's been trained in a few basic magics, as well as some work with a crossbow. Ya know, in case.

Brief Personality: Alexis is Violet's cousin, living with her and her dad, as well as her uncle. Alexis is rather...distant. She's prone to getting in arguments with people, cocky and arrogant on top of it. She, like most girls her age, is trying to find herself, even if it includes pushing everyone away to do so. She loves her cousin Violet, and she's the first one to have ever found out Violet was the Slayer. She can keep a secret, although she wonders how her cousin was ever picked. She's just a kid, for crying out loud. A weird kid, at that. But she has no room to talk. For the past few years, she's been studying witchcraft, first seeing it as a fun thing to do with friends. But upon learning the magic was real? She became almost addicted. Now at only 17, she's one of the more powerful witches in her area, still with room to improve. That aside, Alexis is somewhat of a know-it-all, coming off as snobby, even a bit rude at times.

Extra: She loves cats. And loves cats. And cats. Cats. C-a-t-s. Aside from the feline obsession, she's the Captain of the debate team at school, a junior at Riversville High. Top of her class, can't cook to save her life, and allergic to shrimp. And she swears to the Gods and Goddesses, if someone thinks her being asexual is just a phase or it means she's just been damaged, she'll test the damaged part and filet you alive. Only you get damaged. Not her. Hehe.​

Brief Personality: Jake is secretive answered cautious around most anyone he comes into contact with. While he has a handle on his temper, when it gets angry boy does he explode however that is a very rare occurrence. He enjoys track and likes to run he's a bit of an exercise junkie as he feel it helps with his time of the month. The only one he is really close to is his father, who knows his secret. His step-mother and half sister are in the dark and he wants to kept it that way. He has a strong sense of justice and is more than willing to stand up for the little guy but as soon as the trouble is over he'll leave as though he wasn't involved as he doesn't want to accidentally get close to someone and hurt them or turn them into a monster like he is.


Extra: Aside from spending three nights a month locked in a cage and chained up he's just like everyone else, oh and the whole turning into a werewolf who's totally primal. He's a typical teen guy. After his accident with a "dog" Jake took a year off from school to get a handle on things so while he should be a senior this year's he's only a junior. He has tattoos most noticeably on his arms to help cover up the scars from his attack, and he has a few other places as well.

Brief Personality: Kayla is a driven girl, curious extroverted, and energetic. She's kind, understanding, and has a great passion for anything weird. Weird as in...just...plain...weird. Unlike most girls, she loves gory things, getting her hands dirty and hates wearing dresses. A tomboy, Kayla always connects better with guys, mainly because a lot of girls don't get her. She's one of the first kids to befriend Violet when she moves to Riversville. Well-liked in the student body, she's the go-to girl if you need to know who's who, even if she isn't associated with most of them. Co-Captain of the girls basketball team, she's a natural leader and always willing to step in when she's needed.


Extra: Loves basketball, hence being the girls' teams co-Captain. Sporty in most regards, this tomboy loves to show her spirit and wear her #05 jersey on game days. Go Sharks! Junior at Riversville High. But being athletic isn't everything to her. She also loves spending time with her friends and letting loose. Her grades are hanging on a C average, sports and chores at home taking a lot of her time. She lives with her mom, and their black and white Shih Tzu, an adorable dog named Scruffy. But when she learns who Violet is, she wants to get involved and help out, putting her athleticism to good use. Quick to adjust to new things, she's more than eager to help stop the vamps and demons running loose in Riversville.

Brief Personality: Nick is the stereotype of a shy guy. Introverted, quiet, soft-spoken and the sophomore class' punching bag. Growing up with severe anxiety, Nick always found himself to be the punchline to the cool kids' jokes, or the punching bag of a couple of overcompensating jocks. Maybe being the gay kid who's too afraid to speak to most people makes him an easy target. But under the shyness is one of the brightest minds in all of Riversville High. Straight A's, a perfect GPA, and perfect attendance. Gosh, another thing that makes him a target for bullies...funny how good things to be proud of make him a target. (Teenagers suck.) But while Nick is shy and smart, he's also good natured and kind. He might be a bit timid, but he's a good friend to those who call him such, and cares little for other peoples opinions. He knows whats true, and he only cares for that.


Extra: When he was 7, he was in a car accident that severely injured him. To the extent of having his leg amputated. So now, he lives with a prosthetic left leg. He's grown used to it over the past 9 years, so it's nothing weird to him. But it does call for him being called 'cripple' a lot by the bullies. Jerks. But, this sophomore has a passion for studying mythology. Hence why he's began dabbling in magic. Alexis Maynard is the first person to truly befriend him, even showing him a thing or two. The Kayla came along...then the new girl, Violet. He's always felt like a side story, so magic makes him feel more empowered. His prosthetic leg doesn't slow him down, though. The disabled shy gay kid role in high school is rare, but he plays it perfectly. Is that good or bad?

Brief Personality: He is a calm and handles stressful situations pretty well. He works as a correctionservice officer, and believes in giving everyone a second chance, third maybe depending on the situation but after that well then he's more than likely to send you back to jail. He's a devoted family man who wants to be there for his kids and wife. Until his son became a werewolf he had no idea about all the real monsters that existed in the world. He accepted it quickly because well when your sons turns into a snarling wolf right in front of you you don't have much choice.


Extra: His first wife's died shortly after having Jake which still haunts him to this day. He was shocked that he was actually able to find a woman who didn't mind dating a guy who more often than not had spit up stain on his shirt, and who actually loved his son like her own. So he feels very lucky and if anything were to take his family from him he'd be totally lost. He's still having a hard time dealing with locking his son up for three nights but he knows it's for the best.

Brief Personality: Katie is very happy and out going. She loves her parents and her brother, most days(he's been pretty weird the past couple years.) She can be rather stubborn at times but she's loyal to a fault. While she and her bother go to the same school she tris to avoid there as he's not the fun outgoing person he used to be and she doesn't want to be seen as weird, or grumpy.


Extra: Katie is afraid of big dogs and owls why well a dog nearly ripped her brother to shreds on a camping trip, and owls are just plain creepy. She'd much rather be at a party than school but she keeps her grades around C's so her parents don't get mad.

Brief Personality: Mary Ann has a big heart cares for anyone and everyone. She works as a nurse at the local clinic. Having met Matthew and having Katie has made her life feel complete. Though she's trying to stay close to her kids who in typical teenage fashion don't want that. She is a bit work about Jake given his change in personality but she doesn't want to push him away by prying to much. She's rather soft spoken when she isn't working, and truth be told she like to have more kids if possible as she's starting to feel her get empty.


Extra: While she is woman of science she believes in ghost and other various things. Mary Ann loves her job and is more than happy to offer help to anyone in need including the neighbors who may have gotten hurt and want to know if they should go to a doctor or not.
