Fandom Adventure Time: Trouble In Ooo

newcreate.php

Her eyes stared out, watching silently as her people roamed the streets of the Crystal Kingdom with smiles on their faces. The ball was almost upon them, and the palace was more lively than ever. After spending several minutes observing her kingdom, Selene walked through the long, endless hallways filled with her advisers and maids, each person bowing as she strode past. Crystal Quentin was right beside her obediently with a sword sitting in its sheathe.

"Three of our best knights never returned from their journeys." Selene murmured to the crystallized knight, her eyes troubled as she entered the throne room. A huge, magnificent throne made of sapphire sat near the end of the room, shimmering brightly under the crystallized chandelier hanging above. Selene paced back and forth in front of it, her heeled shoes clicking against the floor with each step.

"There is nothing we can do, my queen." Crystal Quentin responded, his voice deep and slightly sympathetic. The queen stopped in her place, closed her eyes, and let out a deep sigh.

"No."

She lowered herself onto the throne, staring towards the floor.

"I cannot sit here and do nothing." The queen glanced over to the knight, who met her gaze with his own. He nodded after a few moments of silence, not daring to disobey her.

A group of scouts assembled outside of the palace, their horses neighing restlessly. Selene watched from the window above as Crystal Quentin gave them the details of the missing knights. Moments later, the gates of the Crystal Kingdom opened, and the scouts sped through, disappearing into the crystallized forest. Selene frowned worriedly, and stepped away from the window. She had heard the reports, and how the knights vanished near a cave not too far from her kingdom. A witch was rumored to live there.

Selene looked down worriedly at the thought. She hoped the scouts made it there safely, and returned back soon.

Kijiro

"Alright!" swinging his demon blood sword as they were over the witch he chopped off her head and with a thud she fell to the ground. Once they landed he hopped off Renne's back and looked for the light switch once finding it he turned it on. "Man that was tough glad I had you around" he said looking around then seeing the witch's head he kicked it to the side, making it fly across the room and hit a switch that activated a hidden chamber. Kijiro could here something like "Whispering or muttering?" he thought. "Hey Renne wait here I'll go check it out make sure you get that gem also so we can give it to the Crystal Princess" he said and with that he entered the chamber going down stairs he turned the light on again and saw a bunch of crystal people chained up and locked in some kind of ball of see through steel. "Uh are you guys alright?" he asked not really sure what to make of this. "Wait you guys work for the Crystal Princess don't ya?!" he said surprised to see crystal guards or civilians here.

Renne

Renne looked over the pedestal carefully, not wanting to trigger any traps. He didn't see any wires, dart holes, pressure plates, or magic fields, so he reached out and grabbed the gem. As his hand made contact with it, he felt a burst of protection magic, and it began to glow softly.

He heard Kijiro talking and turned to see what was going on. He was surprised to Crystal people trapped in some kind of orb.

"How do you suppose we get them out?" He walked closer to get a better look.

"The witch... she captured us on our way back to the Crystal Kingdom."

One knight muttered, his voice hoarse and full of fatigue. The others moaned in agreement, their arms and legs chained tightly together. The strange orb trapping them inside glowed faintly. What seemed to be the largest of them all looked up at the two adventurers.

"There is a switch somewhere in this room. She used an invisibility spell to hide it away."

While the group struggled in finding the switch, the scout party sent from the Crystal Kingdom arrived at the entrance of the dark, eerie cave. They dismounted their horses, and began to make their way inside.

Renne

He searched the walls, running his pale hands over every inch, until he found it and fumbled awkwardly for a moment before pulling down the invisible lever. He noticed a key on the table below it and brought it over to the captive crystal knights.

"I hope this is the right key," he said as he gave the key a turn in the first lock. It popped open with ease. He set about unlocking all the restraints when he heard footsteps coming from the entrance.

"Hey Kijiro, were we expecting company?"

@The Regal Rper @The Velveteen Rabbit

Kijiro

"Shhhh" he signaled to the others as he switched off the lights and waited for whoever to come in with his sword drawn. Once they were inside Kijiro tackled the scouts what he perceived to be intruders, "Whoever you are you guys sure know how to make an entrance I could hear your horses from a mile away" he said jokingly. But then he froze realizing "Wait wait wait you guys are crystal civilians aren't you?" he said getting up after he felt the hard surfaces of them. "Sorry bout that a little on edge after taking out the witch that held your friends captive" he stated with an apologetic smile

"It's quite alright." The scout Kijiro had tackled muttered, climbing to his feet and gripping his crystal sword tightly. The knights who were imprisoned stood up after the vampire unlocked their chains individually. The leader of the scout party nodded towards the two strangers.

"These two helped you?"

One of the previously imprisoned knights nodded sternly in response. The scout relaxed visibly and bowed towards Renne and Kijiro.

"The Crystal Kingdom owes you a debt. Thank you." He murmured. The scout took a long glance around him, making sure nothing was out of place. Finding nothing, he flicked his shimmering eyes towards the knights.

"We must return immediately. The Queen awaits your return."

The huge group of Crystal people began to take their leave.

Kijiro

"Ah hey wait up!" he said chasing after the group. "You see my friend and i were headed to the Crystal Kingdom because of this" he said showing them the letter. "If you guys could actually give us a lift there" he said not really sure how they would react with the way he made it sound like they were suitors. "That'd be great" he finished

@Renne @The Velveteen Rabbit

"The ball is not until tomorrow night."

One of the taller knights said, his shiny blue eyes staring into Kijiro's. The leader of the scout party seemed to be staring towards the cavern floor in deep thought. He suddenly looked up, his expression serious yet slightly thoughtful.

"Perhaps the Crystal Queen will make an exception. After all, you two did save three of our best knights from death." He finished. The rest of the Crystal people nodded their heads in agreement, and not a single protest was heard.

"Come. We will take you to the kingdom." The scout leader motioned for them to follow, and began to lead the Crystal people out of the dark, eerie cave. Several beautiful horses made purely from crystal were hitched outside, waiting patiently for their return. The scout leader pointed his hand towards the ground, and flicked his fingers up. Immediately, two shapes began to form, and soon enough, two crystallized horses awaited Renne and Kijiro. The scout mounted his own steed and waited for the two adventurers.

Renne

Renne climbed onto one of the horses, marveling at its color and shine. "Wow, thank you. It'd be nice to take a break from flying for once."

He discreetly patted his pocket to make sure the gem was still there, then followed after the crystal knights that'd already started to leave. "So, what can you tell us about the Crystal Queen? I've never met her, and I don't want to offend her or make myself look dumb or anything."

@The Velveteen Rabbit @The Regal Rper

A tall figure in a dashing dress coat waited patiently in his carriage. They had been paused at this specific bridge for several precious moments, and he'd already rechecked his appearance several times. Just as he pulled out a mirror to check again, a massive thud sounded from outside and he quickly put it away. Sometime after the noise, one of his servants pulled open the carriage door and a small figure climbed in while the massive sewing needle she wielded shrank down.

"Oh Princess!" he said with glee before clapping his hands together and pouting "I hope he didn't give you too much trouble!"

Thread Princess stared at him with her trademark frown before tossing a small sack at his feet and muttering "Why don't you ask what's left of him and find out?"

"Oh be careful with that darling," he said with a frown before gently picking up the sack and peeking inside "this treasure is worth a small fortune! And once the Crystal Queen sets her sights upon its beauty, she'll realize what life of luxury and pleasantries I can and will provide for her!"

"I never figured you were the type to settle down Silver," Thread Princess pointed out as the carriage resumed moving "I assumed you were simply uninterested what with all the suitors from around the Spider Kingdom."

"Oh please," Silver waved a hand as an extra arachnid limb stretched from behind him to pick up the bag, protruding from his back were about eight of them folded against his spine to allow him to sit "any man who builds a new type of bike can attract those boring harlots. I am a spider of class, and accept propositions from only the most beautiful, most regal, most-"

"Slow down there," Thread Princess interrupted with a wave of her hand before pointing at him "Priceless treasure or not, I can assure you you'll need more than adoration to win a queen over."

Silver put a hand to his face, which was basically a black arachnid exoskeleton, and blinked all of his eyes simultaneously before asking "Why, whatever more could a proper woman want besides a dashing husband who spoils them rotten?"

"A husband who takes less time getting ready for a ball than they do." Thread Princess stated with a glare "Seriously, do you have any idea how long me and the escorts were waiting for you? I think two of them were able to spin several webs out of sheer boredom."

"A suitor must eliminate all imperfections when meeting his future bride," Silver said before fixing his cuff "when you enter the dating world you'll understand, darling."

"Yeah, that'll be the day," Thread Princess couldn't help but sigh "Me letting myself get swept away by some gussied up idiot that's just going to get himself eaten the first week."

"But what about those chats you've had with my sister?" Silver asked "Princess Carapace is always talking about those encounters."

"I wouldn't call listening quietly as she drones on for three hours a chat," Thread Princess said with another deepening of her frown "You've got quite the annoying sister, Silver."

"She looks up to you!" Silver replied defensively "It wouldn't hurt to have the future ruler of the Spider Kingdom idolize you."

"What could you or your family possibly offer me?" Thread Princess growled "Your lucky your mother asked me to do this or you and your escort would be Cyclops food."

"Oh come on," Silver rolled his many eyes "there has to be more reason for helping me."

"I have business in the Crystal Kingdom," Thread Princess stated "and since I haven't journeyed here yet, I figure it would be better coming as bodyguard to an optimistic suitor."

"Make that successful suitor." Silver said with a wink

Before Thread Princess could put down the Prince's confidence, one of the carriage's windows opened and an Arachnid escort rode close to it on a horse-sized beetle "Prince Silversilk, at this rate we should reach the Crystal kingdom by tomorrow morning."

"Then drive slower," Prince Silversilk told him "a romantic suitor has to be fashionably on time."

The Escort nodded and the window closed, soon after Thread Princess noticed a severe decrease in speed. And after several more moments of riding, she noticed something about his reply.

"Isn't the saying supposed to be fashionably late?" She asked

Prince Silversilk fixed his hair once more "You'll understand when you enter the dating world."

The scout smiled slightly at their curiosity of the Crystal Queen.

"Her name is Selene, although I wouldn't go around calling her that until you've earned the privilege to." He began, patting the smooth, shimmering neck of his horse. It snorted loudly in response, and continued to trot forward at a normal pace. He glanced behind him at the vampire and the boy.

"She is known for her generosity and kindness throughout our kingdom and the land of Ooo. Her intentions always mean well, unless you take advantage of her caring nature. Selene can forgive, but she never forgets."

The scout whipped his blue eyes back to the crystallized road in front of them. The Crystal Kingdom appeared in the distance, towering high into the clouds and glimmering in the sunlight.

"You will find she is not so easily swayed by gifts or kind words. To win her affections will be a challenge." He said, flashing them a small smirk.

The crystal gates stood only a few feet away now. Two guards stood post there, gripping their weapons tightly and watching as they approached. The guards nodded towards the scout leader, and opened the grand gates to the beautiful kingdom. The crystal people walking among the shining streets turned their eyes towards the group, whispering quietly among themselves.

The scout leader rode to the doorway of the crystal palace, and dismounted when the entrance opened. He looked behind him at Renne and Kijiro, motioning for them to follow as they entered and headed for the throne room.

It did not take long for them to appear in the magnificent throne room. A beautiful woman dressed in crystallized attire and long blue hair sat on the sapphire throne, rising as the missing knights entered the room. Crystal Quentin stood next to her protectively.

"My queen." The scout murmured, kneeling to the ground and bowing his head. The other knights and scouts behind him followed.

"Rise." Selene murmured, her voice kind and rainfall-like. They obediently stood back up to their feet. The three knights stepped forward.

"We are deeply sorry, your highness. A witch captured us as we were returning. If it wasn't for these two," One of them began, looking behind him at Renne and Kijiro.

"We would have been dead."

The Crystal Queen observed them curiously for a moment, and than bowed her head deeply in gratitude towards the two.

"I am in your debt. I cannot thank you enough for returning my knights back to me."

Renne bowed politely before speaking "It was a pleasure to be of aid, we could not in good conscience have left them there." He thought for a moment, and reached into his pocket. "To be honest, we went to the cave to retrieve a gem, so that I could give it to you as a gift during your ball tomorrow night." He pulled the rainbow gem out of his pocket and it shone brightly. "If it weren't for this, we wouldn't have been in that cave to begin with."

He held the gem towards the queen and spoke again "Please take it, as a token of friendship. And forgive me for not introducing myself. I am Prince Renne of the Vampire Kingdom. I am attending your ball tomorrow on behalf of Princess Bubblegum of the Candy Kingdom, she is currently unavailable to attend."

He blushed a little, embarrassed by his little speech. He hated being a prince, and tried to keep it to himself, but Bonnibel had twisted his arm on this one.

@The Velveteen Rabbit @The Regal Rper

Kijiro

"It was no problem" he said also bowing with a smile. Looking around at the castle throne room he noted it was quite sparkly but that was obvious since they were at the Crystal Kingdom. "Oh yeah I'm Kijiro the Explorer" he said almost forgetting to introduce himself. "As Renne said we- well i was helping he got you that gift as a token of friendship for PB I didn't get anything cuz well i think i was given this by accident or something" he said awkwardly

@Renne @The Velveteen Rabbit

Renne

Sensing an opportunity, Renne put his arm around Kijiro's shoulders "There's no way that invitation was an accident! A hero such as yourself is just as much a match, if not more so, for a queen than I am!" Renne grinned and patted his back, pushing him forward just a little.

Thread Princess had contented herself to simply lean back and wait until they reached the Crystal Kingdom, those plans were dashed when their slow trot had halted completely several minutes ago. Several other carriages were on the same pathway, with one up front broken down and in the process of repairs. It turns out that plenty of other suitors were taking the same path. And it also turns out, unsurprisingly, that having a bunch of romantic competitors share space with each other and no reliable mediator was a recipe for utter disaster. Now Thread Princess was just waiting for the pot to boil ove-

"What's taking so long!?!"

Thread Princess sighed.

In the carriage next to them, which happened to be made mostly out of hardened grease and driven by bacon escorts, a large, fat humanoid like figure which constantly dripped exited.

"Grease King?" Prince Silversilk said with a look of utter disgust "What on earth are you doing here?"

The sludge like figure turned towards them with its head forming a frown out of the fattening substance "Same as you kid!" Grease King stated before grumbling, which released several air bubbles of grease from his body "The moment I can get to a clean palace so I can mellow out, the sooner these globbing air bubbles will stop tampering with my figure!"

"But why are you of all people going?" Prince Silver Silk asked, making sure to lean back whenever an air bubble surfaced "I thought you despised everything about romance."

"Oh I do kid," Grease King said with a shiver of disgust "the idea of something coming between me and the art of frying food is so horrible I had to visit my psychiatrist the moment I read the letter."

"Then why are you going!?!" Prince Silversilk asked as more calorie laced air was released from the Grease King.

The Grease King shrugged before gesturing towards the carriage "My boy, Prince Fry, practically forced me to join him."

As he said that the carriage door opened again to reveal what looked like a tall humanoid made of nothing but French fries. Besides that their were two gaping holes on its face that represented eyes.

"MEssAGe... lOneLineSs...hUnGer is loNeLinEss." Prince Fry practically whispered as its void-like eyes settled on Prince Silversilk "I ENd hunger... I wiLL be ConSUmeD... tO mUrdEr hUnGeR..."

As Prince Silversilk scooted as far away from the Prince of the Calorie Kingdom as possible, Thread Princess shot the Grease King a look before asking "How do you handle it?"

Grease King gave her a questioning glance "Handle what?"

Thread Princess rolled her eyes and gestured to Prince Fry "Knowing THAT is the best result your parenting skills could come up with."

"Would thou plebeians silence thineselves!" Came a pompous voice

Thread Princess poked her head out of the carriage and looked ahead to see a paper man with a large quill embedded in his stomach striking a pose atop his carriage. Prince Silversilk narrowed his eyes before uttering:

"Prince Inkwell..."

"Thou art correct my underprivileged and unwashed competitor." Prince Inkwell said as he struck another pose "And I beseech thee to look within your uneducated souls to lessen thine speech. For I require silence and tranquility to perfect my dear Crystal Queen's Serenade, which will be the final nail in the coffin of that insulting Baron Typing-"

His poetic tirade was cut short by the sound of furious typing, drawing attention to the carriage next to his. Upon it stood a large Typewriter with arms and legs, and it shook its hands angrily at Prince Inkwell. Once he finished typing, one of his escorts, who was a mercenary fish man, read it.

"Baron Typington of the Typewriter Coalition would like to draw everyone's attention-" the Fish man said in a monotone voice before clearing its throat and pointing at Prince Inkwell "-to the out of date writing appliance who speaks like he's a trashy teen romance novel."

"Silence! All of you!" Shouted Prince Silversilk, drawing the attention of the suitors "Can't you all see what's right before your eyes? Can't you see what this ball truly represents? Its about ME hooking up with my sweet darling Crystal Queen!"

Thread Princess sat back down in the carriage as she waited, Prince Silversilk seemed to have no intention of slowing down.

"King Grease, I can't believe someone as repulsive such as yourself would ever believe that a Gem like her would ever tarnish her perfect figure to sate your sociopathic son's uncanny desire to be eaten."

"I... MuSt bE...dEVouREd!"

"And you two," Prince Silversilk turned on Inkwell and Typington "are nothing more than outdated products designed to rot after becoming useless to the masses. Your people should have left your crumbling empires for lives WORTH living somewhere else!"

Thread Princess sighed as the suitors descended into what was possibly going to be the worst part of this bodyguard job: Squabbling. For Glob's sakes, they went at it for too long, throwing the pettiest of insults around so they could make big deals out of them and throw even more petty insults. As Thread Princess gritted her teeth after three hours of their bickering, she finally turned on one of the Spider escorts.

"How long till they fix the wagon up front?" he asked with her frown barely restrained

"From the looks of it, we may need to spend the night here."

One of Thread Princess's eyes twitched before she growled and reached into her bag. The Carriage's driver sighed as the Suitors continued their glob awful squabbling, but gasped when Thread Princess climbed into the seat next to him and yanked the reigns out of his hands.

"What are you-?"

The driver never finished as suddenly, Thread Princess pulled up on the reigns. The two beetles that had pulled the carriage immediately spread their wings and leapt into the sky. Prince Silversilk was lucky enough to fall into his carriage as they took off. Thread Princess had them going fast in an instant.

"They flee towards my lover!" Prince Inkwell called out as the suitors began throwing taunts and insults at them as they flew away.

Prince Silversilk was able to open a window and spot Thread Princess "What in the world are you doing?!?"

"Getting us to the Crystal Kingdom before I have to kill something out of sheer agitation." Thread Princess fumed

"But we'll be unfashionably early!"

"Then stay in a hotel for the night."

"But my status-!"

"You just have to make it there alive," Thread Princess barked "no one ever said you had to be in one piece!"

"You are free to leave. Please, take the remainder of the day to rest."

Selene informed the scouts and knights before her. They muttered their 'thank yous' and slowly took their leave out of the sparkling throne room. She watched them disappear down the hallway before turning back to Renne and Kijiro. The vampire pulled out a rainbow, glowing gem that throbbed gently.

Her blue eyes glittered with gratitude, admiring the rainbow gem resting in the palm of Renne's hand. Selene outstretched her hand and gently wrapped her fingers around it, taking it into her own care. The queen bowed her head once more towards the two.

"I thank you, Prince Renne and Kijiro the Explorer. Please send my regards to Princess Bubblegum." She murmured in her angelic voice. Selene looked back up, a warm smile spread across her lips.

"You are welcome to stay in the palace for the night as our personal guests. If you wish."

Kijiro

Kijiro's face turned slightly red at the princess's smile it took him a few seconds to realize why he was even slightly blushing. "Um yes thank you, we'll tell PB when we get back to Ooo. And we accept your invitation of rest thank you" he said grinning widely

@Renne @The Velveteen Rabbit

Some time after their hasty departure from the battle of the overly optimistic attractors, Thread Princess finally spotted the Crystal Kingdom in the distance. She sighed with relief, frown lessening just a bit before she turned to the driver, who had sat next to her as she'd piloted the carriage.

"Do you think you'll be able to find a decent hotel for Silver?" She asked as they began lowering down to the ground once more and began trekking on land.

"My liege will probably take whatever's fanciest," the Driver stated as he picked at one of his spider legs nervously "I just hope he doesn't spend as much on the room service as he did last time he went traveling. The escorts and I had to do unspeakable things to fund the return trip."

"Good enough for me." Thread Princess replied before giving him the reigns and reaching back to knock on the carriage door, Prince Silversilk poked his head out with several eyebrows raised

"You guys will be checking into a hotel, I've got some places to see before the night's over." Thread Princess said

"But you're my bodyguard!" Prince Silversilk claimed as they entered the Crystal Kingdom "And you left behind the rest of my escorts when you took to the sky out of nowhere. It could be forever until they reach us, and I could be killed in less than that time-!"

"Don't care," Thread Princess interrupted him "Just keep quiet and go crazy over preparing for the party tomorrow. Passing time while getting ready for events should come naturally for you."

With that she leaped off the carriage and stretched. She had a bit of walking to do, so planning out the direction of travel would be-

*THUMP*

Thread Princess sighed before turning back to the carriage as it rolled away. She spotted a figure lying underneath the carriage and she let her eyes widen a bit as she recognized the crispy yellow body.

"Prince Fry?"

The Prince of the Calorie Kingdom slowly raised himself off the ground, he spotted Thread Princess as he stretched to his full height. As he stared at her, she immediately put two and two together.

"Have you been hanging onto the bottom of the carriage since we took off?"

In response, a jagged smile embedded itself in the space underneath his gaping void-like eyeholes, and he gave a small cackle before turning away from her.

"MusT FInd... loNEliNEss," Prince Fry uttered as his tall form began trudging off in a random direction "muST fiLL thEM... WitH My vERy bEIng..."

Thread Princess just watched in silence as the tall, fattening being wandered off into a random crystal alley. She then decided that she had better things to do than worry about who was going to gain weight tonight, then began walking off to a seemingly random part of the kingdom as well.

Renne

"Thank you for your hospitality your majesty, it's an honor to be your guest. Now I'll be off for a bit, I still have some things to take care of before settling in."

He lifted off the crystal floor and glided out the window, intent on finding somewhere to buy a tux, and something red. He was feeling peckish.

He could see the entire city, gleaming in the sunlight. If it weren't for his scarf, he'd be a goner. He'd had it enchanted in wizard city to reflect sunlight off of the wearer so he could move freely during the day. It'd been a worthwhile investment.

He spotted a tailor's sign and flew low to look closer, but upon closer inspection saw that they made only crystal attire.

"Aw man what do I do now?" Renne sighed, picking up a simple red crystal from a table, and paying the seller with some gold coins from his pocket. He drained the crystal of it's color and sat on the curb, thinking about what he should do next.

"Do you got the stuff?"

Thread Princess pulled a small packet of fluid out of her backpack and placed it on the table, the person sitting across from her reached out with a crystallized hand to grab it. He carefully dragged it closer before pulling out a pointed straw and jabbing it into the packet.

He leaned down and took a small sip, and as he tasted it a bit Thread Princess looked around the room. Two other Crystal people and one snake man with three arms were watching from various locations around the room. She turned back to the taster as he finally swallowed the last of the packet.

"Lemon Vine Tears." Thread Princess said with only a small frown as she watched him sigh with satisfaction "I'll have you know those haven't gotten easier to get since last time we traded."

"True, but I figured you needed the exercise." The taster said as he picked up the packet and studied it "Now where's the rest?"

"Same place as last time, and I hope your appreciative that I came to you guys in person this time around." Thread Princess glared "It's not happening again."

"Don't worry honey," the Taster said "I'd never take advantage of such blatant hospitality."

Before Thread Princess could respond she heard a door slam shut, she turned in her seat to find that the two crystal people had left. Thread Princess let a scowl form on her face before turning back to find the Taster and the Snake man gone, as well as an open back door.

The Taster and Snake Man met up with the other two Crystal Goons in a courtyard, where Snake Man revealed the expensive Lemon Vine Tear Packet safe within its grasp. They fawmned over it a bit before the Taster offered his plan.

"So we take this back to M," he said holding up a finger "then she'll-"

He didn't finish, as that was the moment Thread Princess lunged from the nearby alley and dived toward the group massive needle in hand. Taster tackled Snake Man to the side as she buried the entire needle into the torso of one of the crystal goons, who toppled as the other one looked for an opening. She drew her sewing scissors from her pack and unsheathed them before letting them grow. As the Other Crystal Goon tried to rush her she turned and sent the massive pair of scissors spinning towards him. They embedded themselves in the wall of the building behind him as his detached arm went flying into the air.

Thread Princess stepped off the downed Crystal Goon and reached up to catch the fallen arm as the other Goon clutched his new stump. In a swift move she spun and smashed him in the head with his own arm, sending it clattering off to the side.

She dropped the arm and glared in the direction the Taster and Snake Man had fled.

"H-hey guys?"

Thread Princess looked down at the Crystal goon she'd impaled, his eyes still rolling about "I can't feel anything below my neck, so- uh... wondering if anyone could get on that?"

"I'm not quite sure I even have a neck!" yelled the disembodied Crystal Goon head lying several yards off to the side as his headless body wandered around trying to find him

"You two are lucky I need to catch up with your idiotic friends," Thread Princess grumbled to them as she pulled her scissors out of the wall and began sizing them down "I assume they're heading to Emerald?"

"What?" stretched on the paralyzed Goon as he tried desperately to cover the tracks of his companions "Now why in glob's name would they-?"

"Save it before I take the time to grind you both into powder." Thread Princess hissed before reaching down and tearing the massive Needle out of him and darting off down an alley.

Several quick turns later and she was on a public street, she glanced around for a bit before catching the distant image of a snake tail disappearing.

She narrowed her eyes and took off after the figure, so focused she didn't even take the time to stare at Prince Fry, who had wedged himself between two vendors carts and smiled at her as he waved. Thread Princess only glanced in his direction before reaching out, grabbing his hand, then tearing it off as she continued running. She was still pissed at the previous betrayal, she had a lot of work to do, eating was only one of many ways she could continue fueling her hatred and body. So she began eating the fry hand as she ran.

Prince Fry stared after her as she faded into the distance, even after his hand began growing back. He let a single grease tear roll down his French fry cheek... a tear of pure joy.

Renne Renne heard a commotion nearby, and the sound of crystal breaking. He flew up high to get a visual on the situation, and spotted what looked like an ice cream girl with a large needle, chasing after something he couldn't quite make out.

Whatever it was had turned a sharp corner, split, and one figure dove into a sewer while the other kept running. Ice cream girl had paused for a moment, then followed after the figure that had kept running, snatching something as she ran.

He sped up to her and flew in close, seeing now that she was not an ice cream girl, but wearing hand threaded clothes with careful stitching. He spoke softly into her ear, "You realize the other one went into that manhole back there right?" He rose higher just in case he spooked her. He didn't want to feel the pointy end of that needle.
