Hannah: Having a diabetic cat named GiGi she's a regular at the veterinary clinic and has always liked Hannah. She was always so nice and she appreciated her understanding of Gigi's not so nice tendencies.
Anabelle:
Hunter: Hunter saved her from going home with an unsavory guy at a party, even though she was pissed at Hunter for interfering she was grateful for it after learning the guy's true reputation once she was sober.
Hieu:
Evelyn: Her unofficial library friend. Quite fond of reading herself she often goes to Evelyn for advice on buying a new book or borrowing one
Maude:
Carlos: When she was in her modeling phase she did manage to get a small gig in her senior year and ended up being paired up with him for a set.
Li:
Esben:
Jerylin: Felice has known Jerylin since elementary school and they used to hang out quite a bit, having the same circle of friends so they would occasionally see each other at sleep overs and became friends via that. And though they're not best friends and drifted apart during high school, they have an unspoken mutual understanding. Jerylin has seen Felice's ups and downs and develop into who she is today. But they know if either one of them ever needed anything the other one is only a phone call away.
@asduskfalls
Hannah: After Hunter saved Maude from drowning, he was offered free meals for life at her families restaurant. They met during one of the few times that Hunter took her up on it.
Anabelle: Anabelle used to work for a restaurant that Maude's parent's owned. Maude's parents loved having her there since they found pleasure in "supporting their future".
Hunter: Hunter saved Maude from drowning because she just HAD to go in the water right after eating, the pig, and it would have ended badly if Hunter wouldn't have rescued her. Maude is technically older than Hunter, but she looked up to him in a way because his optimism is exactly the kind of thing she needs to hear on occasion. And anyway, since he seems to like the outdoors Maude would probably try to coax him into a sport scrimmage or at least a hike together so she wouldn't have to work out alone.
Hieu: Hei was feeling down on himself one day and he wanted to stuff himself with food to drown it out. So, he picked a random restaurant and went in. It was there where Maude saw his downy self and tried to cheer him up at her father's restaurant. She got his order and brought out a surprise dessert she made herself. It would make Hei very happy and then start opening up to her slightly. Of course, he didn't share why he was mopey, but tried to come up with an excuse. Maude would see through it, but didn't say anything else because Hei had announced he was leaving. But before he left, she gave him her phone number to call whenever he was upset. She said she would try to make that dessert again and come over whenever he felt like that again. Hei did take her up on the offer and whenever she came over he would slowly, ever so slowly, open up to her. Even if he never told her the real reason why.
Evelyn: Eve and Maude went to the same camp as kids. They hit it off pretty well at first the way young girls are wont to do, but then when all the "camp stuff" gets started, Maude's all over the place, being the ball of energy that she is, and she keeps dragging Eve along with her! She just can't understand why Eve might not be interested! In the end, Eve is dragged into a lot more scary situations than she wanted and Maude had a lot more down time than she wanted, a result of the two of them tugging at each other. But, they also had a lot more fun than they expected!
Carlos: Charlie met Maude through a home ec class they had in middle school. Both of them worked in the same kitchen team. They separated paths after the class was done.
Li: Maude spilled a glass of water onto his lap and then apologize really cheerfully. Li Ling commented on her lack of coordination skills, asking if she accidentally tripped on her invisible shoelaces. She gets flustered and then spills grape wine onto his lap. At this point, Li Ling bitterly remarks that there are much easier ways to get guys to take off their pants, and that the free drinks aren't going to earn her any big tips. She starts yelling nonsense at him like "You think you're so cool? I've not even come close to exhausting my repertoire, we have entire vats of marinara sauce in the kitchen, how would you like some of that on your clothes, huh - " when his parents walk over from a different table to ask what is the matter.
Now, his parents understand that Li Ling is a difficult and often offensive person, so they attempt to apologize to Maude and her parents, who've also come out from the kitchen to investigate the conflict. Her parents intercede her aswell, and she's grounded for months. Well, how was she supposed to know his family was high society? Her parents apologize profusely.
Needless to say, Li Ling is extremely annoyed at having to see 'Maudinara' every time he visits the restaurant. But...the dessert is delicious, especially the cake menu...so he still comes every week. His love for delicious cake will not be deterred by the presence of obnoxious people.
Esben:
Jerylin: Maude's parents were friends with Jisa's mother, so Maude would come over to Jisa's house and teach her how to bake. Since Jisa didn't really like baked goods, they had some conflict. Jisa didn't like that everyone was cooing over the stupid little "Chef Junior Protege." But in the end, Maude helped her make a dessert of her own and then everyone was giving Jisa the attention. That's when Jisa started to bake on her own and start selling her goods on the side. When they grew up and Jisa worked for the fast food place Maude was her regular customer.

Felice: When she was in her modeling phase she did manage to get a small gig in her senior year and ended up being paired up with him for a set.
Hannah: Met at a party
Anabelle: Met at a party
Hunter: Met at a party
Hieu: Hei and Charlie met when Hei was being picked on by his older peers. Charlie, being a wrestler and more muscular than him, fought the guys off and told them to pick on someone their own size. Hei always being the grateful one, thanks Charlie and offered to help him with his SAT/ACT. The two became relatively good friends. Charlie served as a protector of sorts and Hei helped with his studies.
Evelyn: Met at a party
Maude: Charlie met Maude through a home ec class they had in middle school. Both of them worked in the same kitchen team. They separated paths after the class was done.
Li: Li had been exiting a black market/slums area, after finishing a consultation with a large 'business' that was considering expanding its marketing range. Charlie bumps into him as they cross paths. No harm done, just a brief encounter.
Esben:
Jerylin: Jerylin and Carlos had a small fling while in high school although it didn't end well. High school was Jerylin's dark period in time and she had several resources that introduced her to Mary Jane. Carlos sought her out as a potential supplier and he used his charm to get to her. They went around for a bit, but never made their fling exclusive. When Jerylin found out that all he wanted was some dope...lets just say things got nasty. After some time Jerylin redeemed herself and cleared her stoner reputation. Little before graduation, Jerylin sought out Carlos and apologized for having left things pretty rough between them. It was hard to become friends again especially with their contrasting personalities, but nonetheless, by the end of her 2nd year in college Jerylin and Carlos were friends again.
@Trignome
Hannah: One day at the beach Li's trying to take a photo of some shells in the sand. Hannah happens to be there too and she sticks her foot in the picture Li was taking at the last second. Because she can be pretty immature, she started to laugh about it. Loosing her balance, she managed to fall, mess up the shell arraignment that Li had worked on so hard, AND probably shower Li in sand!Li completely flips out, because he spent a long time collecting those shells and, being the completely carefree, happy-go-lucky type that she is, Hannah has no idea why the weird Asian guy is freaking out. Long story short, they part ways and don't meet again.
Anabelle: Anabelle and Li met because she was the barista that attended him and Jerylin while they were conducting their business over coffee.
Hunter: Met at a party
Hieu: I can still go with an art idea, hopefully. I was thinking Li was checking out some photographs by a photographer he liked in a museum the same day Hei was checking out the same photo for inspiration. The two bumped into each other completely on accident. Hei apologizes and Li, who would be in a surprisingly okay-ish mood, would merely brush him off. Hei whispers to himself how beautiful it is and Li overhears him. The two then began discussing their interest in the photo. They will find out they have a similar taste in photography and Li mentions he's a photographer himself. The two hit it off, Hei being a surprisingly quiet when listening and Li liking that company opposed to some overly enthusiastic person. They end up spending the whole day together and become pretty good friends. Hei and Li eventually keep bumping into each other looking at the art.
Evelyn: Met at a party

Esben:
Jerylin: Li Ling is a photographer and Jerylin collects antiques. She heard of Li Ling and his black and white photography and wondered if he had any vintage cameras that he didn't use. When Jerylin found Li Ling, he did in deed have a vintage camera, but not wanting to part with his vintage camera, Li Ling purposely quoted a ridiculously high price which he 'kindly' decided to reduce...with the addition of an equally ridiculous interest rate. Not expecting Jerylin to be able to handle the expense, he is surprised and mildly impressed by her determination/hard work. After a long chat over coffee Li Ling agreed to Jerylin's request of paying off the camera in a year and since Li Ling is that much of a cold-hearted bastard he charged interest payments on a temporarily impoverished, part-timing, engineer student. Li and Jerylin met up for coffee every 2 weeks so she can pay him and during those small meetings Jerylin left a trust-worthy and positive impression in Li's mind, and over their coffee meetings, they become friends.
@YoungDreamer
Hannah:
Annabelle:
Hunter:
Hieu: Esben was dared by a group of his friends. Hei, being in a particularly bold mood, went up to him. He started scolding a little and called him an idiot. Hei figured that this guy, much taller than him, would start to gang up on him. Surprisingly, Esben merely laughed and told him, for being truthful, the two would grab a cup of coffee. Hei was truly surprised but he figured what would it hurt. Over coffee, Esben told Hei the reason why he got him coffee. The two exchanged phone numbers and said they would meet up together sometimes again.
Evelyn:
Maude:
Carlos:
Li:
Jerylin: Childhood playmates who met through their mother's support group (Club... I mean club...) . They grew apart during school, meeting back up in the same group of friends by coincidence in college.
@NessieAlways
Felice: Felice has known Jerylin since elementary school and they used to hang out quite a bit, having the same circle of friends so they would occasionally see each other at sleep overs and became friends via that. And though they're not best friends and drifted apart during high school, they have an unspoken mutual understanding. Jerylin has seen Felice's ups and downs and develop into who she is today. But they know if either one of them ever needed anything the other one is only a phone call away.
Hannah: Hannah is an animal lover and Jerylin dislikes animal cruetly.
They met at a summer trip to D.C. to campaign for animal rights (sort of like how habitat for humanity goes and build houses around the world). They were put in the same campaign group which meant they were staying in the same sponsorship home. During the campaign they were required to make and hand out flyers at social events such as concerts, sport games, and such. They became very close friends after working together and made wonderful memories during their trip.
Anabelle: Anabelle met Jerylin on her first day at the job since Jerylin is a bit of a caffeine addict and would go to Starbucks way before Anabelle started working there. Since Jerylin was always there, she gave Anabelle side-line working tips and coffee brewing tips for sometime until Anabelle got the hang of it. From that a friends ship sprang and they soon discovered that there love for coffee was just one of their many common interest.
Hunter: Jerylin had already known of Hunter's existence from the summer she spend with Hannah although they were only acquaintances. One night, Jerylin was ditched by her boyfriend at the time at the movies and it was getting late. She waited outside for her mother to arrive, but for some reason or another her mother was taking long. Thankfully Hunter had a late shift that day and when he got out he saw Jerylin outside and offered her a ride. Since Hunter has a passion for people, he started up a conversation during the ride which ended up in both of them spilling their guts out to each other and becoming extremely close.
Hieu: Hieu and Jerylin met at Comic Con. Jerylin fought Mei for a limited edition comic and after a great auction between the both, the comic was given to a fat kid with rich parents who just signed away 6 zeros for the comic and thus Jerylin and Mei became friends with a common enemy, the fat rich kid.
Evelyn: Jerylin is currently working at the book store so she used to see Evelyn there everyday. Their relationship started off as a simple "Is this book available? How about now?" Soon Jerylin discovered that she had a similar book taste as Evelyn and they began having discussions about their favorite scenes and characters. Jerylin asked the manager of the book store to start a book club and when he agreed, she asked Evelyn to be her second hand. Unfortunately there wasn't enough interest to keep the book club afloat so it ended, but the friendship between Evelyn and Jerylin continued.
Maude: Maude's parents were friends with Jisa's mother, so Maude would come over to Jisa's house and teach her how to bake. Since Jisa didn't really like baked goods, they had some conflict.
