Fandom Acheron (Reboot)

Broken-Angel

~Your favorite Badass Tsundere Boom Queen~
For the 10 percent of Earth Land who possess magic and want to earn Jewels, the best option is to join a mage guild. The most infamous in Fiore is the guild called Fairy Tail. However, there is a lesser known guild trying to make its mark on the world. It is called Acheron and resides in the town of Haveros. Acheron was established only five years ago by the master, Gihain, and struggles for a foothold in the world. With the guild's efforts, attention has been drawn to it, but not all of it good. A dark guild that calls itself Death Mask has seized Acheron's master and replaced Gihain with an imposter. The guild members are oblivious to this fact as of now, but as the double begins to act strangely, doubts arise. Just what are these odd items the Master has sent them out to collect and what purpose could they serve? And you thought picking out a prom dress was hard.

MAPS

Acheron consists of three stories.

The first story is a commons area that contains seating, a bar, an infirmary, and the board that holds normal level job requests.

The second floor holds multiple rooms for members that have no where but the guild to call home.

The third floor is restricted to only S-Class mages and contains the board for higher level jobs such as S-Class, SS-Class, 10-Years, and 100 Years jobs.

Ezekiel returned to the guild hall after a long quest out in the wilds of Fiore. He was tired, and had taken a slight beating but he didn't care. He walked into the guild hall and immediately crossed over to a table by the bar, ordering something to eat and drink. He sat there with his eyes closed and gave the occasional grunt or nod as people welcomed his return home.

Arvin Constellion Tomes looked down from a beam at the ceiling. He was still to sleepy to join in on socializing. He reached inside his coat and pulled out a small bag tied close with a neat little ribbon. He undid the knot and pulled out a tiny cookie which he popped into his mouth before tucking the bag away once more. He looked to the lamp posts that jutted out of the beam, forming an extended area for his sleep. He rolled to the lamp posts and looked sleepily between the gaps. He looked down at Etheria and wondered how she was doing right now. With a small yawn he rolled to the side a bit more, slightly teetering on the edge of the extension.

Etheria was silent, she still wasn't used to the amount of people that were around her. She looked at Arvin with a blank look on her face and sighed. 'Arvin is sleeping again...' She went to the counter and decided to have some milk, because she was still to young to start drinking. A fact that has been repeated plenty of times by Arvin whenever he caught her eyeing something alcoholic. Which was pretty hypocratical seeing that he doesn't drink as well. She slowly drank the milk.

Red. The crimson cut into his eyes like a knife through flesh; her eyes pierced his soul like a spear and finally her first connected with his dome for the last time as his eyes rolled back in his skull and all that remained was solid white.

Damn straight!” Lauretta called out. The field they were in was empty with maybe waist high grass, all green and trees surrounding that with the town just beyond. Overall it was unscathed by damage and the fight itself was over in seconds.

You know,” Tomas said, “He seemed pretty willing to go. I don’t think you needed to KO him.” His small, orange feline body standing on top of the man; the strips of his fur highly visible. Tomas had tried to tell her the man was willing to be turned in but she always had a need to be so violent. Instead Lauretta decided to take the bounty unconscious.

Shuddup Tom.” She replied to her partner in crime who was also an Exceed, “You know I always do things my way

I know... Was just sayin...” Shrugging his shoulders he sat down, his tail swaying slightly back and forth and his arms crossed. For a second he reached up and scratched his head before gazing back at Lauretta.

Finally taking the man by the collar, she proceeded to drag him back to town. The bounty on his head was hers for the collection, and 100.000 Jewels was as good as hers.

Some time had passed, and she was nearing town. In their silence, Lauretta often thought about things, namely her guild, and her position as a Mage. In the 6 months she had been a member, no one had gone on a single mission with her. While she didn’t ask anyone, no one offered either. The girl was beginning to question if she should even be in a guild. Couldn’t she just do missions on her own. With Tomas, it was like they would always be alone. She sighed quietly, thinking Tomas wouldn't hear her.

Tomas broke the silence finally, “You shouldn’t contemplate things so hard. It’ll give you wrinkles.

Her brows furrowed, but a smile broke across her lips “Shuddup Tom.” Her eyes locked on the tavern that was their guild. If even for a fraction of a moment, her heart jumped at the sigh of her guild.

"It's so beautiful."

A light breeze passed, making the messy blonde hair of a certain mage dance to it's glory. Laying alone on the sand, staring into the sky, was none other than "The Beach Dragon" Caleb Spree. His hazel eyes sparkled with delight as he took in the gorgeous view of the clouds. Ah yes, there was nothing quite like the beach for Caleb. Truly it was a peaceful paradise for him. To top it off, there was an endless supply of his favorite snack, sand. Caleb, a Sand Dragon Slayer, had the ability to eat sand to replenish his magical energy. He just liked the taste though.

It was a nice escape from the world after his last job. Though it was suppose to be an easy retrieval mission, it somehow lead him to a collision with a member of Death's Head Caucus, a powerful Dark Guild. Although Caleb attempted to avoid a fight, it was to no avail. Fortunately, Caleb had managed to defeat him. On his way back home, he had wanted to take a quick break at his second favorite place in all of Fiore. It was time for him to head home however, his number one favorite place in all of Fiore, Acheron.

He stood up, but not before grabbing a handful of sand and shoving his face into it. "Aw that was good!" he yelled happily. He began heading back home, easily being able to spot the tall guild hall from the distance. Once he had reached the guild hall, he went inside to the commons area. It seemed a lot less loud and busy as usual, likely because so many people had either just come back from jobs or were still currently on them.

Caleb smiled. It was nice to be home.

Abigial sighed as she made her way to Acheron. She was itching for a job like something fierce for she was quickly bcoming stir crazy. A furrow set in her brow as she thought about one of her three person group. Elo. That bastard went off on a misson without her or Ez. That had pissed her off so much so that she went on a punching everything in sight rampage and Ez was the only one that was able to calm her down. Though she nearly turned him into her own personal punching bag in the process. She didn't let anyone know but the fact that she did that to her partner at all, kept her up for three days. Of course she could just go and apologize to him but then they'd have to talk about it and Abigail wasn't the type to talk or share things with anyone. Even her partners.

Entering Acheron, Abigail got her some hot tea and sat at her usaull table in the back corner. She supposed her and Ez were the most anti-social of the guild but she was a bit more than Ez. At least he sometimes talked to the other guild member, Abigail barely talked to her partners. Taking a sip she enjoyed what smalll quietness there was in the hall. Mind you it wasn't much but it was still early and most of the members hadn't showed up. Abigail looked down into her cup as she remembered that today was the day that Elo was supposed to be coming back. A small part of her worried if he was going to be okay, but she pushed it away. She knew better than to get attached to people, her past proved that more than enough times. Abigail closed her eyes and leaned her head against the wall as she propped her legs up on the bench she was sitting on and waited for Ez to come in, if he was plaining on showing up today at all.

Kai walked into Acheron determined to make a good impression. He had been welcomed only recently and though he was a very social person he was still nervous. As he walked in his little earth serpent circled around his body and began to pick up little bits of dust to grow in size slightly. It was a new magic to him and he was still mastering it, but keeping the serpent at a reasonably small size was easy enough. He grabbed a large chicken leg that was just begging for him to eat it and took a large bite. It was a habit he wasn't expecting to break soon, and he felt no need to. After all what was wrong with eating a lot if you had the freedom to do so? After a quick scan of the guild hall he sat down near Abigail with a smile and held out his hand to greet her. He was still getting used to the guild mark on his palm and it surprised him every time he saw it still. "Hi I'm Kai and I'm kinda new to the guild. I figured I should introduce myself to everyone to find out some more about the guild. Oh yeah by the way this is Sev." Kai gave a quick point in the direction of the small earth serpent who seemed to be collecting dust off the table and wiggling back and forth. "Don't worry he doesn't quite have a mind of his own, just basic rules that he follows that make him seem alive." Kai seemed almost childish as he stood there. He hadn't taken the time to ever buy any new clothing so he was still stuck in his black shirt and ragged brown overalls. The black work gloves strapped to his belt made him look like he belonged in a mine shaft or a garden rather than the guild and the amount of dirt and stone in his already brown hair didn't help. His smile was the only quality that redeemed his terrible look as it made him seem confident yet humble and like he already felt at home after a day of being there.

The sun beat down upon Jasper's head like an angry oven. His purple hair stuck out at random intervals, pieces of rubble still in it from his job. Why do giants always seem to desire pointless destruction? Whatever, he'd never understand anyway. He scratched at his beard and adjusted the bags over his right arm.

He had just received payment for the SS job recently, and was returning with half the reward for him and half for Gihain. She'd be happy with this 5,000,000 Jewel for sure. Or at least he hopes so, no one really knew what would or wouldn't set off Gihain, Jasper included. Well he'd just have to see what happened.

Jasper stepped around a corner to take shortcut to the guild when he received a punch to the jaw. He wondered what that was for and he realized the obvious..... a Wizard had to be trying to take him on again. Hehehe, okay challenge accepted. He turned his head back and found a man with a gun pointed at him. Guns magic eh, bring it on.

Magic began to surround Jasper's fist in a shimmer of light blue sparks. The gun wielded pointed his gun and got out, "Give me all the no-", before he got a magic coated fist to the jaw. He flew through the air and crashed through the wall of the building behind him. Jasper grimaced, he hadn't meant to hit him that hard.

Well, at least it was only one building this time. Jasper unzipped the duffel bag with his money in it. He withdraw a stack of a hundred thousand Jewel and put it in the mailbox . Then after putting the little flag up he continued on his way to the guild. Something about that man bothered Jasper, but what? Meh, it was probably nothing.

A strong gust of wind tossed his cloak out behind him. The multi patterned, multi colored, random patched cloak used to be huge on him as a teenager, but now it only went down to his knees, and covered his arms to the elbow. Under it were a plain white t shirt, specially ordered to be made in his size, and jeans that were made for overweight people in mind. But for someone naturally and healthily humongous they worked just fine.

Jasper stopped at the doors of the guild hall and scratched his beard in thought. Okay there was definitely something off about the guy earlier, what was he about to say? I shoulda hit him a few seconds later. Oh well. Jasper walked through the doors of Acheron, and thanks to he having paid for the place, the doors were high enough for him not to duck. Thank goodness for small joys.

He inhaled deeply, enjoying the smell of the wood, the food, the people. It'd been a while, nearly a month since Jasper's guild had been destroyed by an attacking Dark Guild while he was out on a job. He had accepted Gihain's offer to stay here. But as he immediately set reconstruction to proceed, made sure his guild members were set, and immediately began another job, he had yet to come to Acheron. He was excited to see Gihain, excited in a rather teenage like manner.

But that feeling was offset by his rage about his guilds destruction, his fist clenched hard enough to pop his knuckles. The guild symbol across his closed fist showing him the bright blue lion that symbolized Orgullo De Leone. Whatever guild that attacked and injured his guild members would pay dearly! But enough of that for now.

Jasper looked around for Gihain and took her duffel bag off his shoulder. He had 5,000,000 Jewel with her name on it. Now where was she.... wait a second. He thought back to the guy earlier, what he had been trying to say was clear now. "Wait a second, that guy was trying to rob me!".

Michael got of the boat. He was surprised he wasn't seasick during the trip, but it was expected due to his experiences on boat travels, although, he never had been in such a long one. The harbor was very wet. Just before the boat stopped, it seemed like the sea was starting to get angrier, shaking the boats like they were made of cardboard. Clouds were starting to form in the sky. Leaving the harbor, Michael could take a better look at the city. It looked fantastic. No regrets. It would be hard, but if he would put an effort into it, he could succeed. At least, he wasn't in his country anymore. Soon he would need a mission, since he was already short on gold. Near the harbor, there was a town map on a sign. He looked at it, searching for the Acheron guild hall. It wasn't far, he could just walk there, just a few blocks away, but he still decided to pay for a ride to there, in one of those magic driven cars. These things are getting more popular. While he was inside the vehicle, he wondered if it would be easy for him to join the guild. Well, why wouldn't they accept me? The answer to his question came to his mind quickly after this thought, along with the memories of several people that considered his personality to be very annoying.

The car stopped and Michael got down from it, paying the driver afterwards. There it was, the Acheron guild hall. I thought it would be more... Shocking. He opened the doors and walked inside. There were some mages there, but not as much as he thought there would be. He walked towards the counter of the guild, seating at one of the chairs.

"Excuse me, could someone tell me where's the guild master?"

Her black painted lips around the ebony cigarette holder in her gloved hands, the Gihain imposter took a long drag from her cigarette and released a small cloud of smoke before she crossed through the threshold of Acheron. Her blue eyes narrowed in disdain as they rolled across the faces of her guild's rivals. She took a deep breath and tossed her cigarette away and slide the holder into the pocket of her tight pencil skirt. This idiotic mages would all be dead before they even began to suspect that their beloved Gihain had been swapped with someone else. Someone asked for the guild master and she stepped forward, taking a seat at the counter next to the male.

"That would be me. What can I do for you?" The fake Gihain asked, a light smile on her dark lips as she brushed her bluish white hair behind her ear.

@The Gil

The front door of the guild hall slammed open and a wild breeze leaped through the doorway, disheveling hair and tossing away light items. A visible exhausted Morse stumbled through the door, his brown eyes only half-open and his normal clean clothes ripped to shreds and covered in blood and dirt. On his back was the sleeping form of Lilith, looking even worse than Morse. Her long, ebony hair, which was usually tied back out of her face, was matted with blood and clung to her pale face. Her clothes, tight black pants and a purple tank top, were torn and bloody, revealing several deep cuts along her skin.

Morse sluggishly approached the closest table and half-collapsed into the chair, nearly dropping Lilith. He slowly removed her from his back and placed her in the chair next to him. He gestured to the waitress and she quickly brought him and Lilith food and drink.

A few whispers circulated the hall. The duo had just returned from an SS job it was said. Someone had seen them take one from that board on the third floor. Questions rose about if they completed it or not, but no one dared ask them. Instead, the wizards murmured among each other and fabricated explanations and rumors. A bet was even placed on whether they succeeded or not, but it was fairly certain they had.

Abigail looked up from her cup of tea to see a boy that looked like he was dragged behind a car. She quirked a brow at him and looked him up and down. Well he could use a major makeover. Abigail looked at his out stretched hand and took a drink from her cup. "Yea, nice to meet you. I can tell that you're new here by..well...the way that you look. I'm Abigail". That was all that she was willing to share with him. She didn't talk to people nor hang out with the other guild members. Right now, she was waiting for her so called partner. Abigail took another drink from her cup and leaned back against the wall. If he wanted to talk more, then he would have to pick the conversation back up. As everyone knew, Abigail wasn't really friendly. Not even to her partner.

Kai stared blankly as Abigail had seemingly chosen to ignore his attempts at a conversation. Despite this Kai was desperate to get some information, and even a little bit of help. "Well nice yo meet you Abigail." He blushed a bit and looked at himself up and down seemingly embarrassed. "I guess I still look the farm boy don't I?" His nervousness faded after a second and he laughed a little bit to keep himself smiling. "It's kind of embarrassing but I'm really new here and I don't know how to pick a job out." Again he laughed in order to try and break the tension that seemed to be building everywhere around Abigail. "I am pretty new to being a wizard after all and well, I don't know what I should try to do first..." Kai trailed off for a moment and pulled a sandwich out of one of his pockets taking a big bite and making sure to swallow before he continued. "I was wondering, since you seem to know your way around the place if, well, if you could give me a little help as to how I might pick a job suited for me." Though he seemed nervous Kai never got rid of his childish grin and never seemed like he was anywhere near backing down. Once Kai had made it a mission to get to know somebody, or to talk to them, it was impossible to stop him.

A drink had already landed over the counter. Michael drank a sip of it, but it made him feel a little bit nauseated. It's probably just the new air. Thunders started to crash the skies outside. He felt the static increasing through his body, and it made him feel a little better. More members were arriving, and the place looked more exciting now. He remembered that he was short on money, and after he bought the drink, he only had a few coins left. I better get this job. The man who was serving the bar gave back his coin, saying the first one was on the house. Michael smiled and finished his drink. A silver haired woman approached him. Her breath smelled like cigarrete smoke. "That would be me. What can I do for you?", she said, along with a smile. He had a different vision of how a guild master was.

"Hey, I'm Michael Whithand and well.. I would like a job, if that's not too much to ask".

The fake Gihain drew her eyes over the mage next to her, hiding a smirk behind her hand. She shifted on her seat, tucking her crossed ankles underneath her.

"Oh, you are just in time, sweetie. As soon as everyone gets here, I will be announcing a very important job. And you would be perfect as one of the members to complete it," She said with a nod and a light smile.

Liberty raced through the air in joyful glee. A farm way out in the countryside was giving out its annual request to wind magicians who could power its windmills until the windless season was over. They not only gave her a free room and free meals, but they also paid her for her services before she left. They even drove her to the train station and saw her off! Now Liberty was smiling and humming to herself as she slowed her pace and gently touched her feet to the ground. Using her wind magic to loudly bust open the entrance doors to the guild, she announced at the top of her lungs, "I'm home everyone!"

((Thanks for the tag I didn't even know that this began))

Ezekiel heard this and found himself very interested. Its not everday that the guild master claimed she had a very important job for them. He finished his food and grabbed his drink, moving away from the bar. He found a seat next to Abigail and sat down. "You hear Gihain?" @Broken\-Angel

With the tavern in sight, Lauretta kneeled down right behind Tomas. His ears perked up and his eyes squished with a very complacent look upon his face. Her arms reached around him and embraced him tightly as she stood back up. He was really the only person she cared for and with every ounce of her being. Tilting her head down, she rubbed her cheek against his fur. His ear bent a little flat as she came up to the doors of the Guild’s Hall.

Stopping before enter she took in a deep breath.

We’re home.

I know Tom. I can see that.” Lauretta said flatly at she continued to rub against his soft fur. Reaching her arm out, she pushed one of the doors open.

Silently it swayed under her strength and she could see everyone at tables or standing, gathering around their Master. It appeared she was late for some sort of meeting. She could see everyone, and thinking maybe she had gotten in silently, the door, at the end of its swing, decided to creak extremely loud.

EEEEEeEeeeEeeeeeeRRrrrrrrrRRRrRrrrr~

Lauretta ground her teeth at the sound, realizing she may have interrupted everyone now.

Speaking quieter, Tom whispered, “Now you did it. She’s gonna punish you.

Shuddup Tom.” Opening her mouth, she bit his ear lightly.

Ouch! You know I don-” The rest of his words became muffled beyond hearing cause her hand came up and covered his mouth.

Both of them, tried to just move to the side, wanting to listen to what was being discussed amd report that her mission had ended well.

Abigail was about to tell the new guy where to go to find jobs for the less experinced when Ez had sat himself down in the seat across from her. She slowly turned her head towards him as he spoke and gave a slow nod to his question. Drinking the last of her now cold tea, Abigail looked back up at the new guy. "Well if you're that eager for a job, it looks like the Guild Master is about to give us all one". She gently placed her cup onto the table and looked over at Ez again. "Think Elo will be back in time? He's been gone awhile and it bugs me". Under her breath she muttered someting about how it was a jerk move of his to leave his only two partners behind, while he went off and got to do a mission. Reigning her emotions back in before anyone noticed that she had any, Abigail folded her arms over her chest as she sat and waited for the Master to make her big announment.

@ReaperOfShadows @DarkAncient

Ezekiel sighed just thinking about his other partner Eloarch. "I doubt it. For all we know, he could be in a whole nother country. If Elo makes it back in time, I will be surely surprised..."

The doors to the guildhall opened wide as Nidelia slowly walked through the doors. Her purple hair flitted around her as she walked and her black dress was very modest, not really giving off any of her form or revealing any cleavage, just the way she liked it. She looked around, surprised to see it so full, normally everyone was out doing jobs right now.

She hummed to herself as she walked over to the bar getting a quick glass of water before walking away sipping it. Her eyes scanned the room. None of the S-class quests listed on the S-class board interested her currently, but then again, neither did any of the normal jobs. She sighed softly. Since she'd grown up and learned her magic well she had been able to take jobs for some time and made plenty of money.

She had a house outside the guildhall which she was able to afford easily, but she'd recently checked the money she had saved and it was depleting, so if she didn't take a job soon she would be out of money. She walked up to the S-class job board looking it over incredulously. She didn't really want to go on a quest that could take a year by herself, that would be rather lonely.

She then decided to look around. It had been a long time since she'd partnered up with anyone and her eyes landed on Ezekiel. Smiling softly and broadly she walked over to him. "Hey Ez! How's it going?" she asks cheerfully and with a very happy smile upon her face. This was common for her, she was always cheerful and caring.

Ezekiel's attention was drawn to the doors of the guild-house as they opened once more for another entry. He had expected, maybe hoped that it was Eloarch, but wasn't disappointed to see that it was rather Nidelia that had returned. he watched her walk up to the board and seemingly she had noticed the lack of good jobs to do. Atleast in his opinion there wasn't much to do. He smiled as she walked up and greeted him. "Hey Nide. Honestly there isn't much going on with me. But Gihain says she has a pretty big job for the guild. She's waiting to tell people about it and its killing me. But besides that, how've you been?"

Abigail sighed as well. Ez was right, Elo would be freaking anywhere on Earthland. The guy knew just what buttons to push to make her want to rearrange his nose. Abigail was about to comment on his statement when she was cut off by fellow guild member, Nidelia. She watched the cheerful girl make herself comfy next to Ez. And before long, they had stroke up a friendly conversation. That was Abby's cue to leave. She wasn't much of a talker and knew she'd somehow end up getting dragged into their talk. Abigail grabbed her cup and slipped away to the bar as they were enveloped in their conversation. Once reaching the bar, she asked for another mug of hot tea and sipped it while sitting there alone.

"Hiya Abby!!" Liberty literally spun in as she rode on her wind magic and perched next to herself next to Abigail. "What's up? I just flew in and there was this huge flock of birds flying next to me and-" Liberty was talking a mile a minute. From the moment that she met Abigail she thought that she was cool and interesting and wondered why she always seemed so distant. Her curiosity prompted her to animatedly talk the girl's ear off until she received a response.

Kai nodded to Abigail and smiled in thanks before turning to the small earth serpent that circled him. "Slow down Jormungandr if you keep going you'll end up cleaning the guild hall and be the size of me." a small magic circle appeared on Kai's index finger and the earth serpent stopped in its tracks and just floated at attention. As he looked around the hall Kai began to feel smaller than ever, everyone else seemed so powerful. In an instant he was back to his happy self and he brushed off all feelings of fear and doubt. He was going to make friends and he was going to get stronger. "I can do this!" Kai had meant to just whisper that to himself, but in a moment of immense energy he had spoken it a lot louder than anticipated. Even so Kai tried his hardest not to seem embarrassed or shocked by what he had just done.

She smiled all the while, giving Abigail a friendly nod and smile when she departed the table. She understood the woman was very introverted, definitely something of a polar opposite for Nidelia and she knew she could be very overbearing to introverted people.

Then she looked back at Ezekiel with a glimmer in her eyes at the mention of Gihain and the special job. "Ooooh, really?! What do you think it could be?" she asks curiously as she looks around the hall for Gihain, but she didn't see her and looked back to Ezekiel. He had always intrigued her every since he joined the guild. He had been powerful enough to become an S-Class wizard and was even younger than she was by three years, it made her curious, but she was respectful and never pried or asked him anything.

To her if they really wanted to tell her something, they would. She was sometimes jokingly called the guilds councilor because she always made sure all the members could go to her if they needed to talk. Whether they had an extremely hard time with their quest because of things that brought back painful memories, or asking her for advice on boys and girls.

She enjoyed it though and everyone knew she never told what she knew to anyone. She couldn't stand people who gossiped about others and spoke behind their back, it made her sick. And if someone tells someone something in confidence, it should be kept that way, a secret between the two people. She felt like she needed to sing, perhaps she would get up on the stage after her conversation with Ez.
