316 led the students to their classroom, once the group exited the cafeteria the pushing and shoving stopped and everyone peacefully and quietly went on their way. The school produces a very strange arua when it comes to student behavior. The same students that enjoyed bullying and being cruel also were quiet, studious and very organized. The classes were located on the second floor, if students cared about not being late they would use the transport chairs. It was only one trip in the chairs, the students would be let off near a staircase that would lead them to the hall of their class. There were three classes in this hall; the rest of the rooms were vacant. The students would need to scan their talkies to be let into the room. The doors were automatic and slid open, when this first student stepped in the door a voice greeted each one of them, but by number instead of names. When Felix walked through the open door it made a small beep and slammed shut. His talkie glowed blue and the door stopped before it hit him, and reopened. There was no teacher, if they questioned ‘316’ she would encourage them to choose their seats and get settled in. Backpacks and school supplies seemed to be unnecessary for class. Their desks were spacious enough to set things on it even with the keyboard. To the right of everyone's desk was a small attachment with a holographic globe sitting floating above it. The simplest object the students could find at their desk was a journal. It seemed to be a basic writing journal, strange for a place that was for the most part paperless. Ten minutes passed and there was still no teacher. 316 had no answers for them, but they were free to explore their own personal areas a bit more. The computers were just a blank transparent screen, if they touched it they would turn on. Just like your first time receiving any smartphone or fancy laptop the computer ran through the motions. It greeted them by number and fazed into the home screen. There was an icon that showed the agenda for the day. The only thing written for today was orientation misspelled. There was another icon with a letter. When clicked on students could choose to send a message to other students. Each student was labeled by a small picture and their placement number. There was another icon on the home screen labeled database with a tiny book icon. When clicked on a blank screen with a text cursor was revealed. There was another icon that also had a book icon but was labeled class database. The students could see the grading system, class rank, and the grading average of their classmates. Everything was blank considering it was their first day of class. At least the students would be able to see what they were being graded on. There were only three categories, general school subjects were not included. This made sense as the students had to have completed the general study curriculum of their countries before they could even apply. Besides the reforms, they were all nerds, even the dumbest of them were most likely taking college classes or just focusing on extracurricular programs. The realization that everyone in the hero program was the best of the best made elite status seem even further away. On top of that everyone here had a good level of skill and control of their powers. No one was a master of their craft but the newbies (for the most part) were from one of the few power based schools located around the globe. It was a fair possibility they would run into someone they knew of course the school hasn’t accepted any new students for a year now. With all the drama and excitement happening at Atlantis any old school mates would have forgotten them.

As Jim explored his desk 316 beeped in his ear then spoke. “A text file has been sent to your pod for later review. The three students you referred to as bullies have attended the school for six months. They are all in the same class. I am going to assume the information you wanted, “the kids I ate with” is not very specific. All information involving students H202, H297, and R008 have been sent to your pod. If you are requiring the personal relationships, social standings, and etiquette of these students then...Incoming message.” A small holoscreen visible to only him appeared out of his talking. If he clicked on the letter icon a message from Veronica popped up. ‘Hey, I saw you sent a request for my personal data. I’m guessing you asked your talkie about me. Anytime you ask for information that isn’t public a request gets sent to the person you asked about. Public information like names and grades usually don’t need approval. Anyway I approved your request. Happy snooping, and be mindful who you ask about, they will notice.’ The message then ended 316 spoke again. “Approval for student H202 has been granted, updating information.”
