She smiles slightly at the man before her, though something about him bothers her slightly, she shakes it off and tries to be courteous. "Yeah. I'm the Headmistress, Alexis Lancaster. How can I help you?" She asks, tilting her head so her long black hair falls over her shoulder.

He laughs a bit nervously, reaching up to rub the back of his head. "Zorry. I am juzt excited! I 'ave not been zvimming in too long time! I mizz veeling vater!" His grin falls slightly as he goes over what he'd just said. Had that even made any sense?

"i'm here to collect my keys and timetable i am Maru Ginski" he says still with the wide mocking smile on his face putting out a hand to properly greet her.

 

[pbtenchi]

"says here I get a room all to myself" he said quietly before marching off to find his room

Alexis nods with a smile. "Okay, here you are!" She hands him a teacher's package (different from the student packages because they have more keys and stuff) and tilts her head again to the other side. "Anything else I can help you with?"

Nikki laughs slightly at Alex's comment but then sees his ever present smile fade and fall and she feels as though he is remembering some bad memory. Nikki immediatly starts to try and cheer up Alex. "C'mon Alex, let's hurry down to the pool!" Nikki says excitedly as she takes his hand and drags him out the door.

"do teachers have a place to stay" Maru reply's tilting his head to the side

 

[Leon Heart]

After much needed rest, Leon's eyes slowly opened. His lips were lightly parted as a small yawn crept across them followed by a long sigh. He stretched his arms out to his sides and held it for a good five seconds before finally coming to a rest. He leaned up slowly, rubbing his head to try to get the hair that had stood up from his bed head to go down. It was rather difficult when he had such long brown hair but with the length it was currently at it might have been mistaken for his usual hair style. He had realized that he had fallen asleep with his blade in the hilt on his belt. Guess it was a good thing that he didn't move that much in his sleep. There would be no reason to carry it around on a day like this since classes would not start until tomorrow morning. So, as he stood from the edge of his bed, he lifted the sword out of its hilt and placed it inside the closet with his other belongings. They didn't take up much space but with time he was certain this place would feel more like home. He looked at the window and still saw sunlight pouring through the closed curtains near the sill. He couldn't have slept for too long then since he still saw some students wandering the grounds, including a group that had found their way to the pool. What a pain it must be to clean a pool that large. Just as he turned away from the window a thought ran through his mind. He recalled earlier that he had something to retrieve for his duties as an instructor. Alexis couldn't have stopped him earlier because she was too busy welcoming the other students and instructors. The doors to his room and the combatives room must have been unlocked for ease of access since no personal belongings had been placed in them yet. With this thought in mind, he walked briskly towards the door and opened it quickly. Shutting the door behind him, he made his way down the aisle of rooms for the instructors and out the main door that he had used to enter the hallway. He marched south in the building, taking a long walk since the instructor's rooms were located at the very north point of the building. Eventually he had found his way through a smaller crowd of students than before, finding it easy to spot Alexis with her long black hair. Seeing as she was already addressing a silver-haired man, he simply made his presence known by standing nearby in view and waiting until she had finished speaking with him. Little did Leon know that he would be seeing much more of this man later through the year. He did not know it yet but he would be his assistant in his combative course.

Skyler drags Alex by his other arm, and laughed abit. "Something wrong?" She then stopped at the edge of the pool and released him. She smiled and sat alongside the pool waiting for conversation.

Alexis


The yellow eyed woman nods. "Yes, of course. Classes are all held on the ground floor. Teachers' rooms are upstairs on the north side of the building." Glancing to the side, she caught Leon's eye and gestured him over with a smile. "Leon, perfect timing. This is your assistant, Maru Ginski."


Alexandru


Smiling slightly, he shook his head, not speaking. He would worry about proper English later. For now, there was a big, empty pool to be swam in! Grinning madly, he ran and did an acrobatic spinning dive into the water.

As they get to the pool Nikki slows down along with sky and Alex stops. Nikki hears sky ask if everything's okay. Nikki thinks the question is referred to Alex so she doesn't answer. But curiousity eats away at Nikki as she wonders the same thing. Nikki hopes Alex is okay and that they'll still be able to have a fun day today.


When Alex only shakes his head, not answering the question properly and just looking like he's clearing his mind, Nikki feels alittle bit happier now that he's responding but still worries. Then Alex jumps into the water, doing a cool trick. Nikki forgets her worries temporarily and shrugs off her bag and grabs her goggles out of it andahs her friends goggles on the side of the pool. She runs for the water and does a small Swan dive.

Alex pops his head out of the water, face turned up and a serene smile on his face as he breathes deeply. Diving back under the water, he cuts through it like he was born for it, making it around the pool in what is probably record time. He stays under the surface of the water for what would be an impossible amount of time for anyone but himself or anyone like him. Finally he comes up, though he doesn't seem at all out of breath, and he's smiling happily. "Perfect... This vater is perfect..."

 

[Leon Heart]

A small gesture granted him permission to enter the conversation that Alexis was having with the silver-haired gentleman. When he was told that the man that she had been talking to was in fact his assistant instructor he was caught off-guard. He did not expect to meet him so soon, at least not until tomorrow when class had started. This was a good opportunity for him to get to know the man better so that they could coordinate their efforts to making the classes better for their students.


"Nice to meet you. Name's Leon", he spoke to Maru, extending a hand in greeting and staring directly at his assistant instructor in his usual confidence manner.

 

[Yanipurr]

"pleasure to meet you Leon I'm Maru" he takes the hand and shakes it with his usual mocking smile on his face examining Leon from head to toe.

Nikki comes up from the bottom of the deep pool and pulls her head out. She brushes away her bangs that are stuck to her forehead from the moisture. Nikki lays back and floats on her back as she soaks in her new life. Her new, fun filled, friend filled life. No more alone sitting in the dark, quiet and scared. Nikki doves back under the water and finds Alex, swimming around like a dolphin. She giggles and air bubbles fly up infront of her and reach the surface. Nikki starts to swim towards Alex.

 

[Leon Heart]

"Pleasure's mine, Maru", he spoke as he shook Maru's hand firmly before letting go. He observed Maru much the same way that he was observed. He could tell that he had a warrior's background much like himself and a body that was built for combat. He only wondered how they would handle the class with the two of them instructing the students. Surely it would be much easier with two and for whatever he lacked in technique then Maru might be able to supplement with his own experience. Putting these thoughts aside for the time being he turned his attention back to Alexis. He took a moment, staring somewhat awkwardly before he remembered what he had come to see her for.


"Alexis, I was told in the letter that I needed a key for the classroom as well as the instructor's dorms and our personal rooms. Did I forget to retrieve those from you or did you want to do that later when all of the instructors are present?" For all he knew they could have all already been there but he wasn't even sure how many teachers they were to have this semester.

Alexis' eyes widened slightly and she turned to pull out a large folder from her 'filing cabinet,' turning back to Leon with a sheepish grin plastered across her face. "Sorry... It's a little late, but here ya go!"

This may sound odd, but rather than hearing or seeing (his eyes were still closed) Nikki making her way towards him, he felt it. He could tell it was Nikki by the vibrations she made in the water. He could even pinpoint the exact location of her and everything else that touched the cool, clear liquid. That was the way his power worked. Not opening his eyes, he murmured a soft greeting to her when she was within earshot, completely relaxed.

skyler dived in after him and dove underwater holding her breath, after a while surfacing and takes a breath. She was enjoying having friends and having a free day! "waters kinda cold. " she stated blankly shuddered and swam around kinda like a dolphin.

 

[Yanipurr]

"i shall take my leave then" Maru said as he walked out the room and headed towards the outside to retrieve his belongings when Maru got outside he remembered he put his bags about 3 miles away from the school grounds for some unknown reason but instead of walking their he just walked back inside of the school and went towards the second floor and walked towards a window he then proceed to opened it and he pulled out his sword and said "Shoot to kill Shinso" forgetting that he would be shooting into a public place with public building in the way of his bags his blade then expanded at a super fast rate which went and he got his bags with the blade going through the handle before he moved his sword higher so that the bag would not fall he then retracted his blade and walked towards his room like nothing had happened.

Nikki is surprised when Alex turns and greets her under the water with his eyes closed. 'He must be a have water powers.' Nikki thinks to herself. That explains the blue hair and love for water. Nikki resurfaces and brushes her bangs back again. She takes in deep breaths and listens to the sounds of moving water. A thought crosses Nikki's mind as she noticed Alex is under water right where the slide comes out at. Nikki slowly makes her way to the edge while sky distracts Alex. Nikki climbs out of the pool and up the ladder to the slide. Nikki swings herself down the slide and lands right on top of Alex when she reaches the end of it.

Alex is a little shocked when Nikki comes barreling down on his head, but he's certainly not upset. He laughs, shaking his head as he resurfaces, grinning at the brown haired girl. "Heh, you sure got me there."

Nikki laughs back and sticks out her tongue at Alex as se resurfaces.

skyler closes her eyes and moves out of the way of nikki who was fixing to land on alex she jumps out of the water and goes back under swimming like a mermaid afterwards she resurfaces with a smile and climbs out and sits along the edge, with talon laying down next to her. "That was fun."

Maru approached his door and he inserted his key and unlocked his door he opened his door and took his took his key out of the lock and he shut the door before taking a seat and looked around his room but showing slim to no interest in the wanting to change anything so instead he just put his bags on the floor and he started to look at his teaching package but only with him caring about the time.

 

[Leon Heart]

Leon took the folder Alexis held out for him. Taking the slim brown folder into his hand, he looked at it in consideration for a moment and smirked, thinking that this would be the first formal institution he would be teaching at...and it a started in this small brown folder. His eyes slowly lifted from the paperwork up to meet Alexis' and her soft grin.


"Thank you. Will everyone be meeting for dinner later tonight for a formal address from you?"
