Academy for the Gifted

Ok! :) Will post it ASAP
Do you have any specific thing you would like to post about them though? Like a skelly or something like that?

Don't hate me for being such a noob but, a skelly?

And I was thinking something like

name

appearance

personality

skill set

weapons (if they have them)... yes no?

(Oh it's exactly what you just posted! Like the basic profile you have to fill in)

Name: Veronica (Ronnie) Terrence

Appearance:

6349471363277253302479-580-790_b.jpg

Personality: Ronnie is pretty clever and agile. She's usually not easily angered but if you get on her bad side it's quite difficult to change it. She likes to feel as if she is the one in control though she always avoids to be bossy. She doesn't like it when others are too cocky or self-centered. As much as she can tend to be a sweet and caring girl with others, she can also be pretty cold and mean with others, it mostly depends on who she is dealing with.

Skill set: She is got an almost unbeatable aim, being a pretty got shot herself. She's also some kind of a wind manipulator and had gotten much better at it since she arrived to the academy.

Weapons: Ronnie will usually carry two machine pistols with her as well as small knives.

(Okay awesome :) )

Name: Warek Renal

Personality: He is pretty secluded, usually on purpose. He has trouble getting along with people. Definate trust issues, however, he himself is trustworthy. He has his partners back in combat situations. He is acrobatic. Skills is stealth as well as combat.

Appearance:

Skill set: Stealth, hand to hand combat

Weapons: Duel swords, fire manipulator (seriously think Zuko from Avatar Last Airbender)<p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2013_05/Zuko_full_995081.jpg.2b6d3ae7c3aca57be447179b72fc8e90.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="836" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2013_05/Zuko_full_995081.jpg.2b6d3ae7c3aca57be447179b72fc8e90.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Laters :)

(Technically both, it's practically 1 am over here xP Yeah that sounds good to me :) Will post as soon as I'm done with University. Bye :big grin: )
(Hiya! ^^ So.. Do you want to start? Or want me to start?)

Ronnie squeezed her eyes shut for a moment when the sunlight fell on her eyes through the tree branches "Ugh.." The groan came out as a complain as she set her book on top of her lap and yawned. If she was not wrong she would have to meet up with her new partner that same day and she was not really happy about it. She was okay with her old partner, what if she didn't like the new one? A soft sigh escaped her lips before she stood up, her green like eyes shimmering lightly as she opened them. She shoved her book inside her black satchel before she took off, heading to the assignment department.

Warak Renal stood outside the academy trying not to make his displeasure completely evident.

This was the day he met his new partner. Despite how much he tried to convince his last partner to stay, she'd graduated. Moved on, now he had to as well. Change did not go over well with Warak. He avoided it like the plague. In his experience, change was usually negative. He pulled the strap of his back tighter and walked at a brisk pace. Might as well get this over with.

Ronnie sighed as she stepped into the department "Hi Stan. I'm here for my new partner thing" She told the old looking man who just looked at her and signaled her to one of the leather couches that stood just behind her. "Right, wait for him I guess" Her voice had come out with a thick Spanish accent as she spoke before she let herself fall on the couch, resting her her cheek on top of the palm of her hand.

He made his way to... to... the office? He wasn't sure what you called it.

He didn't want to, but he had to see who it was.

He pushed through the doors, past the leather couches at the entrance, to Stan. The administrator behind the desk. "Hey, Stan. I'm here to see my new partner assignment." The older man looked board and/or tired... it was most likely a little of both. Stans eyes lazily swung up to Warak as he gestured back towards the couches he'd just passed. Warak now noticed the girl sitting on one of them. Her cheek was lying in her palm, a look of reluctance on her face. He studied her for a moment. He noticed her from the grounds. She wasn't new. That offered some relief. He had been slightly worried he would be put with someone inexperienced. He was not in the mood to carry someone elses weight. A thought occurred to him. He must be replacing her partner as well. Maybe she was as reluctant to meet him as he to meet her. He, almost begrudgingly, lifted his hand out to her. "I am Warak. I guess we have been assigned to each other. You are?"

Ronnie's eyes fluttered to the guy who had just walked in and then to the hand he was holding out for her, brow raised. She thought she recognized him for somewhere and then she realized he might not be new. For now, but just for now, he was okay. She and her previous partner had hit it off right from the start when the two of them had met. He had gave her such a vibe of security and cheerful that she had instantly liked him. The guy, Warak, did quite not, but at least she hadn't disliked him either. She took his hand and shook it "Veronica, Ronnie for short" She pulled back her hand before standing up "You're not new, are you?"

At least he didn't see instant hate in her eyes. Maybe they wouldn't hate each other after all. Hate was a strong word. She took his offered hand and shook it, promptly taking it back as she stood up. She wanted to know if he was new. "No, no I'm not. My original partner left, so I had to be reassigned. Your not new either? I think that I have seen you around before." He stuffed his hands in his pocket, waiting for her response.
(Sorry, gotta sleep. Will continue tomorrow)

Ronnie shook her head herself "No, I'm not, my partner also left" She sighed, softly blowing the bangs out of her face. Good thing, he wouldn't be the one dragging her down. Now there was one main thing left and that was the most important one, to feel comfortable around each other. From there on, they would be forced to be together like all the time and Ronnie didn't seem to find it neither pleasant or annoying.

"Well, I guess we are in the same boat then." He was glad at least that they had at least this in common. Maybe there would even be more they could find that was similar about each other. "So, have you heard anything about our first assignment?"

"Not really" She admitted as she brushed her brown hair behind her ear. She had been yet to be told about that since she was currently without her partner. Well now that she had one, she thought of it as only fair to be told about it soon. Then again, maybe he knew about it, his question had not stated that he didn't "Have you?"

"No. I was thinking we could start right away though. If you'd like we could go and check." He went to the door and held it open, gesturing outside with his hand.

"Yeah, that sound good" She granted as she walked by him, giving a slight nod in gratitude for holding the door open for her. She stuffed her hands on her grey sweater's pockets as she walked down the hall. Usually, when at the academy she dressed pretty boyish, maybe because those were the most comfortable outfits to wear. Though she did change it when she went out "So, how long have you been here?" If he was to be her new partner she figured it would be better for them to get to know each other better, at least the basics.

"About two years. Started as soon as I could. What about you? How long have you been here?"

His hands went into his pockets as he walked beside her down the halls to the office where they would hopefully receive their assignment. While he awaited her answer he took in her profile. She was a bit on the tomboyish side, wearing her grey sweater. She was still attractive, however. He wondered absently who her last partner was.

"Roughly 2 years and a half" She admitted as she turned on the corner as they walked to the office "I actually was pretty bad at speaking English myself, I guess it helped a lot that my last partner understood Spanish and was quite patient as I learnt how to speak this language. I'm originally from Spain, though I was sent here by my parents as soon as the academy contacted them" She shrugged lightly as she said the last thing "What about you? What's your story?"

"I suppose I always knew that I was coming here. I am local, and I grew up with the ability to manipulate fire." He gave a demonstration by summoning a small spark of a flame and holding it on his index finger like a candle. "The administrators here contacted my family fairly early on and once I was of the proper age, I moved in here at the academy to train. I lost my mom at an early age, and my dad and I have never been very close, so my moving was a pretty quiet affair. In fact I think that my dad and I were both a little relieved that we would be apart."

"Usually happens. I guess my parents were just relieved and happy when they found out the academy would give them compensation for their 'loss' " She shrugged lightly. True, at first she had despised them for that, now.. Well now she just regarded it as reality. Her parents were indeed full of children, more than they could possibly handle and well money was never too much "Ah, we're here" She exclaimed when they reached the office.
(Gotta go for tonight! Rp tomorrow ^^)

(Do you have any ideas for the assignment? Or should I just make something up?)
Their loss? What on earth did that mean? Warak didn't have any time to ask, however. They had arrived at the office. He opened the door and walked in, They room was busy. Probably with newbies, all getting their first assignments. Warak pointed to an open seat in the corner and they sat down. He really hoped this wouldn't take long.
