Fantasy Academy De Feast (Reboot)

@OrenjiGatsu

"Oh, you must come from many of the wolf-shifter packs in North America, then, Ms. Softwer" the merboy continues to try to chat her up.

"What pack would that be? Do you miss them? If you do, then I can offer as one of my spiritual services the opportunity to scry on them in the present or in the past," Fan offers with both hands over his heart and a ring of water beginning to form just in front of his spectral orb.

"If you would rather not, then that is fine," the piscean child's psychic voice sounding disappointed by his own prospect, "but my spiritual services are still on the table... metaphorically and literally," gesturing to the vessel of water, the timekeeping device, and the space-measuring device on Softwer's desk. "I had already given one for free to just Ms. Lizzy, so..." Fan begins to twiddle his thumbs.

@Federoff

Fan simply tilts his head upon hearing of Lizzy's claim, then blinks hard. "As far as I am aware, these books were written by human Awakened mages during the days of the lost civilization of Atlantis," his eyes expanding in wonder, and his tone mounting in wonder.

"I have been summoned by human willworkers of the arcanum of Spirit when I was younger," he forthrightly explains with both hands over his heart, "and they were all so disappointed when my time powers could not circumvent the occulted shroud over Atlantis's past..."

"If you know the author, then that would be an amazing discovery to any spirit or Awakened mage interested in the history of Atlantis's civilization and the mysteries of the ten arcana..." The nature spirit's elfin ears visibly droop.

"O-Oh. You... you were good friends with this 'Leon,' in the past tense?" Fan lowers his head and eyes and blushes in shame. "I-I-I am sorry for bringing it up, M-Ms. Lizzy..."

Lizzy patted the boy on the head once more, again in a non-condescending way but this time in a hey its ok way. "Its alright you did nothing wrong; like I said the past is the past" replied Lizzy before pausing for a good 4 minutes, deciding if she should or not. She finally mentally shrugged and brought a gloved hand to her necklace and propped the circle open, revealing a painting of what seemed to be Lizzy being hugged by an exotic looking fox boy.

Cordelia looked at him when he started speaking.

"Feather..what feather? Crux do you see any feathers laying around? Hes taken in some poison and I need to get it out of his system." She tested his blood to see how strong the poison was and pursed her lips. She put his blood away in a bag and started mixing a small vial of ingredients she took out of her purse. Including a sample of her own venom. Which she was quite shocked that in small doses could act as an anti-poison. She lifted his head up a bit and pressed the vial to his lips.

"Ill get your feather but for now you need to drink this or else the poison will spread to fast..ok Kai?"

@Federoff

Floating Fan accepts the pat on the head gracefully and with a small smile, although Lizzy can still feel that there is something not quite right about the texture of his watery hair, as though it was pressing back with unusually uniform force.

"Leon looks like a very nice, kind, and pretty person. I would have been happy to have him as a friend too," he compliments with candor and a swishing piscean tail. "He looks exactly like what I had expected from a benevolent willworker from the time of Atlantis's civilization." The nature spirit's spectral orb drifts closer to the locket and glows with a pure, white light, before retracting back into orbit around Fan.

"You say that the past is the past, right, Ms. Lizzy?" the childlike merboy brings up with a concerned look in his azure eyes. "Cherishing Leon's memory is important, but have you found anyone else in your travels who can be there for you?" The nature spirit's telepathic cadence makes it clear that he is not implying himself to be a possible candidate.

"O-Oh... I am sorry if that is too personal an inquiry..." Fan lowers his head and blushes in embarrassment once more. His watery, elfin ears sag downwards too.

( how do you make stuff spoilers? @Federoff)

Kai begins to listen as he started drinking the anti venom slowly. There was a black feather where Kai fell, it was a piece of his magic flow. Without such a feather he probably couldn't walk ever again for all we know. He then looked at Cordelia and blushes as he can feel he's in her arms. " I-I thought I w-w-was g-going t-to d-d-die." He says stuttering cause his lack of air.

Cordelia sighed with relief when he started drinking.

"If I can help it no one has to die. You both got lucky..fighting is a waste of a precious soul you know"

She gently put him back down and motioned for to take deep and even breaths. She slithered over to where he fell and looked for a feather. When she finally found one she looked it over. It looked like a normal feather but she knew he would know for sure if it was his or not. So she went back to him and held it out for him to see, using her tail as a support for his head.

"Is this it? Im sure you will no better than I do" She took the vial and stuffed it back in her pouch.

@Daimao @Kai123

Lizzy thought about the question he had ask and after a few moments shrugged. "No and I don't expect I will" admitted Lizzy; truth be told she had fallen deeply in love with Leo before he offered himself up to the tower of infinity to protect their home. "He was very kind indeed, do you remember the tower of infinity I talked about?" asked the elf girl, her eyes' changing to a lighter blue then previous.

The feather color turned pitch black is it got closer to Kai. Kai grabbed the feather as he puts it on his chest as it fazes into his chest. Kai then sat up with some magic giving him energy. He grabbed his chest in pain from him moving to fast. " Darn it still hurts... What type of poison did he give me?" He says with a confused face.

@Federoff

"Please do not be so negative, Ms. Lizzy," Fan tells the elven girl in an encouraging, comforting tone, reaching out with a hand shrouded in a fog neither too cool nor too warm. "I am sure that deep down inside, you are a positive person who knows that you cannot move forward if you keep looking back." The nature spirit's smile is warm and sympathetic, and his elfin ears wiggle back up.

"With my power to peer into the sympathies of space and time, I can help you find a good and kind friend who can be there for you, and I can have you meet them at the right place and the right time," he offers with a hand over his heart. Blink. Hard blink. Head tilt. Head tilt. The piscean boy's eyes grow and his cheeks redden a bit. "And do not take this the wrong way or anything, but if even I cannot help with that, then I can be the one to be there for you," placing his other hand upon his bare chest.

"I-In any event though..." twiddling his thumbs and stuttering as he telepathically moves on to the second part of the elven girl's inquiry. "I have heard of the Tower of Infinity, but the reports I have had on it are conflicted. Some say it was called the Supernal Ladder and that it caused a catastrophe... while others say that it succeeded at forming a bridge to the Realms Supernal." Fan's tone is that of a curious professor.

"I have always wanted to visit it myself and inspect its interior to confirm the rumors... but my parents forbid me from teleporting or scrying there. What is it really like, Ms. Lizzy?" he inquires with great wonder in his cadence. The prismatic, tiny orb in proximity to the nature spirit almost seems to waft towards the elven girl for a moment.

Cordelia sat back as he got back up. Giving him room to move. She then went to examine Orpheus and see if he needed any tending to.

"Basic snake poison really, just really potent. your lucky I knew my to. "

She looked up at him with serious eyes. Hey pupils dilated.

"As I've said this is why I feel fighting is a waste"

She check Orpheus ' vitals and felt where he might have any breaks or fractures. He did in fact have a dislocated shoulder. So whike he was out she took the time to reset it and wrap his arm.

@MorticiansDaughter

The school of phantasmagoric, incorporeal fish from before is back in proximity with Cordelia. They have forged a new path of ever so subtly distorted space for her to follow, and said path spatially "tugs" towards the same general direction as before.

It is as though the piscean conjurations are well-aware that this "lost person" has strayed from a previously laid-out path.

Lizzy smiled a bit at his offers and then nodded her head. "This is something I have to figure out myself, but thank you" replied Lizzy kindly as her eyes changed back to their normal blue. "The tower of Infinity is the bridge between our world and the forest of beginning. You should be familiar with the forest yes? It its the where everything goes when it dies to be reincarnated into the next cycle or to stay there until they are ready, or just to stay forever" explained Lizzy before taking a deep breath, she had kinda ranted there for a moment.

"A person can sacrifice himself or herself to let others live, that's what Leo did... he sacrificed himself to the tower in order to let the town guardian, one of the divine dragons of the world, live longer" continued Lizzy now lost in her memories, it seemed just like yesterday that that happened. She shook herself of the grip of her memories mentally and snapped herself back to reality.

Kai stands as he looks at Cordelia, with a smile on his face. " But because of this I know that there is people stronger then me and that means I just got to get back up and keep training." He says as he looks at the sky, noticing his clothes where ripped from the fight. He sighs and walks over to Cordelia and puts his hand on her shoulder and smiles. " Thanks for saving me like seriously I be dead without you haha.." He says with a pleasant tone.

"O-Oh..." Fan's good cheer visibly deflates as his elfin ears droop, his fishy tail goes limp, and his smile inverts into a frown. "I suppose that is fine... but i-if you need someone, I can try to find just the right person... or stand in for them, alright?" the nature spirit promises with candor, a thin haze of cool vapors shrouding him for a moment.

"I-In any event... the forest of beginning sounds much like the Primal Wild, the Supernal Realm of Life and Spirit, Abode of Beasts, Kingdom of Totems, Home of the Watchtower of the Stone Book, that which sets the enlightened as shamans on Thyrsus, the Path of Ecstasy," telepathically reciting in a sagely tone a long list of occult titles that may or may not be accurate.

"I am impressed, Ms. Lizzy... the Tower of Infinity truly is a successful Supernal Ladder. This is such a major discovery, and the Diamond orders of the Awakened would love to know of this..." he muses with a mouth slightly agape.

"As a nature spirit, I am well-attuned to the Primal Wil-- err," twiddling his thumbs and blushing again, "the forest of beginning, though my powers of water--a subset of matter--space, and time have greater correspondence with the Supernal Realms of Stygia, Pandemonium, and Arcadia," he explains with great enthusiasm and an uplifted smile, clearly happy to be speaking of occult matters.

"Atlantis's civilization spoke of the dragons that helped give the gift of Awakening to the world!" the little merboy exclaims as though it was a topic that meant much to him. Even the spectral orb surrounding him flares with brilliant blue light. "If Leo sacrificed himself for the sake of a dragon, then he is a great hero to all the world! Without him, there would be substantially less magic in all the world, and that would simply be terrible!" he fearfully elucidates.

"Leo was definitely a good and noble person, Ms. Lizzy," complimenting in a more sedate tone. "You should be proud to keep him in your memory, but please do not let his loss pain you too much. The past is in the past, as you have said," closing his eyes and smiling sympathetically.

(Sorry, was out eating a meal with friends)

"Well you sure got lucky. Good thing Orphy's poison isn't like mine," Crux chuckled to Kai. "I don't think Cordy would have been able to save you If that was the case."

@MorticiansDaughter

"Yes that I know, that is why I travel now... to begin anew" replied the girl as she gave off a smile, this time a real smile. She hadn't really smiled like that in a while, at least to Lizzy it seemed like a while. "It would be nice if we were friends though" replied Lizzy cheerfully now as she sat their and continued to talk to the boy.

@Federoff

"Travel is one of the occult correspondences of the arcanum of space from the Supernal Realm of Pandemonium," the piscean boy elucidates while his ethereal orb conjures up the ornate sigil of that plane. "The roads and spatial axes that criss-cross the world are the traveler's way, setting trials and tribulations in the path to help one grow stronger and find new doors," telepathic cadence serene and sagely.

Fan's own smile widens into a hearty and ever so content one, as though the elven girls previous rejections of his services were all in the past as well. "I would be happy to have you as a friend, Ms. Lizzy!" the nature spirit happily goes with upright elfin ears, a swaying fishy tail, and a spectral orb that glows with a faint purple light. "But I thought we were already friends, silly!"

The little mer's hands perform a few ornate gestures in the air, forming three orbs of water between them. Splashes of white, brown, and pink mingle with each one, and they gradually solidify into an unctuous, creamy trio of balls of ice cream. "Would you like some ice cream, Ms. Lizzy?" Fan offers as the three spheres of vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry inch closer to the elven girl; a set of silver spoons apport themselves within the orbs for ease of consumption. He closes his eyes, widens his smile slightly, and tilts his head.

Lizzy thought about the question for awhile, wondering if she should have some ice cream from the boy. Deciding it was not a bad idea, she nodded, "Can i have some vanilla?" asked Lizzy thoughtfully, waiting for the response she took out a brush from her bag and began to brush her hair, something she did in her spare time.

@Federoff

"V-Vanilla...?" Fan's eyes grow in a bit of pleasant shock, and his piscean ears wiggle curiously. "Th-that is my favorite flavor for cakes and ice cream!" the nature spirit happily and honestly admits, not a single ounce of deception in his telepathic words. "Sure thing, Ms. Lizzy!"

The merboy's spectral orb is limned with cool-colored radiance once more. As the chocolate and strawberry orbs and their silver spoons disappear, a glass bowl and a napkin appear on the elven girl's desk. The sphere of vanilla gently plants itself upon the bowl, ready to be dug into.

"My own food takes a little... modifications though, because I am a nature spirit..." The piscean kid explains before repeating the ice-cream conjuration process, forming a smaller ball of vanilla, then shrouding it in a pale, ghostly, wispy light of ocean blue and glacial green.

The merboy sets it down in an apported bowl of humbler plastic on his own desk, then partakes in a bite with a plastic spoon. "This is really nice and tasty, Ms. Lizzy! You should try it!" Fan gleefully encourages, his bright expression saying it all. "Because of your charm, you will never get brain freeze either!"

" I guess i'll have to train harder then before to defeat both of you guys." He says laughing a bit, as he looks at crux. " I only fight to get stronger I also fight to protect for what is right." He says with a serious face looking at crux, as if he was showing no happiness left in his face.

Lizzy chuckled to herself as she took the bowl and spooned out a little bit of the ice cream and ate it, it was cold but tasted good. "Thank you, it is great" replied the girl with a small smile, it was good she would not get brain freeze, she had sensitive teeth ya know. "That's good, I hate brain freeze" chuckled the girl as she reached into her bag and pulled out some sort of red plant and sprinkled it onto the ice cream before taking another bite.

@Federoff

"You are much welcome, Ms. Lizzy!" The nature spirit performs his usual gesture of closing his eyes, tilting his head, and smiling warmly.

Once he reopens those azure yes of his, Fan's pointed, watery ears twitch in curiosity as he espies the red spice. "Excuse me, miss, but what sort of plant is that? Is that an Ignisian fire flower?" the merboy makes a wild guess with a poor attempt at concealing his uncertainty. "Does it make vanilla ice cream taste even more sumptuous?"

Crux replied to Kai by flicking him in the forehead. Crux's eyes had turned a vibrant blue. "That is stupid," rumbled a deep voice. "Fighting to be strong will ultimately lead to your demise. Also, what exactly constitutes what is right and what is wrong? What you believe? Idiocy. Foul is fair, and fair is foul. Nothing in this world is right, nor is it wrong."

((Whoops sorry, that lag!))

Lizzy thought about it for a while, trying to remember what it was called, and after a few moments she finally replied. "Its a coral plant, they are quite poisonous and very good... so yes it does make it taste better, to me that is" replied Lizzy before she took another bite of the ice cream, unsure of how the boy was going to respond.

@Federoff

Fan simply tilts his head upon hearing word of the poisonous substance. "I am not too well-versed in the arcana of Life," he admits with twiddling thumbs and the most subtle of frowns, "but I have heard of how certain Awakened willworkers of Path Thyrsus render themselves practically immune to deleterious substances through such magic."

"Is there some method you use to inure yourself to such substances, Ms. Lizzy?" The merboy asks while his spectral orb veers closer to the elf, as though intently examining her. "Is it a result of your elven biology? Do you employ a few spells of life? Do you incinerate the toxins using your pyromancy?" the piscean boy keeps asking while tilting his head from side to side. "I am truly curious, Ms. Lizzy!"

"Please just... do not get any of that poison close to... oh... ummm, n-n-never mind," shaking his head, elfin ears twitching, a look of consternation flashing over Fan's face for the briefest moment.
