Fantasy Academy De Feast (Reboot)

Vampiricdoll

Six Thousand Club
I was given permission by @the\-lich to reboot this roleplay.)

Welcome to the academy where we learn to concur our hunger for human blood and death! Welcome to Academy De Feast.

Rosey and Elsa came to the school together. They were best friends, even though their personalities were different. Rosey ran up to the doors, opening them and held them open for Elsa. She followed after Elsa, smiling and skipping, and Elsa scowling and hunched over.

"Isn't this exciting?" Rosey said jumping.

Elsa chuckled and looked toward Rosey. "For you maybe, but this is probably just another school, I'm going to get kicking out of." She says stopping in the halls, in front of their lockers. Once again, the lockers were right next to each other.

Skittishly fiddling with the lock on the locker just next to Rosey's is a small figure. He is a cute- and winsome-looking merboy who floats in the air, slowly bobbing up and down as though he was on the sea's surface. The mer's frail and slender body and his very youthful features make him look like an out-of-place preadolescent in this secondary school. His hair and his elfin ears are akin to shifting water, his eyes are as wide and as blue as the ocean, and his matching scales shimmer in the light. The boy is unclothed, but his piscean lower half seems to obfuscate any potential indecency. Orbiting around him is a half-centimeter wide orb of phantasmal, prismatic, gaseous matter that leaves wispy trails.

The two older girls come near the mer just as he manages to open the door of his locker. The boy's visage is tinged with nervousness. He blinks hard, longer than a natural blink should last, before his expression turns calm and composed. "Good day to the two of you," the merboy greets in the feminine voice of a charming young girl... not by moving his mouth, but by transmitting speech directly into their minds. "My name is Fan, and I am a nature spirit." He performs an adroit aerial loop and a bow, the diminutive orb tracking his motion all the while.

"I am as new to this school as you are. I hope we can be friends." Fan offers a small, amicable smile and a slight tilt of his head. "What are your names?" he queries telepathically.

Rosey looks at him smiling. She kneeled, so she could reach his height and kindness shown in her eyes, unlike Elsa who didn't even bother noticing.

"Hello there! I'm Rosey, I'd love to be friends with you." She says grinning. She could hear Elsa mumbling to her self, and Rosey sighed.

"Just ignore my friend here, she doesn't like new people, but trust me, She'll warm up."

"I hope we can get along well, Ms. Rosey, and, umm..." Fan gives an awkward glance over to the grumbling girl ."Ms. Rosey's friend." A meek wave with a small hand goes out to her.

"I am a little unsure of how this school works, when the classes are, where I should be going to class, and... if I should even be wearing a uniform," the merboy psychically transmits while glancing down at his naked form. "If you know a little more about this academy, Ms. Rosey, I would appreciate your guidance. I could repay the favor with some of my spiritual services; I am a nature spirit, so you can call on me for help just by performing a small ritual," he politely offers while placing a hand over his heart.

"Oh, it's fine! If you look in your textbooks, they should have put a paper in there, telling you your classes. Also, that won't be necessary." She says as small flower buds, slowly come out of the ground. They swung back and forth, happily.

"Oh... I am so lacking in presence of mind," the merboy bemoans to himself with downturned eyebrows and a small frown, relaying the message phrenically. "I should have been more thorough while poring through these books..." Fan picks them up one by one and pages through them, before his azure eyes blink hard again.

"It seems as though we will share many of the same classes, Ms. Rosey," he communicates in a calmer, more sedate tone. "That is reassuring to know. At least I can have one friend of the people of matter... oh, ummm..." Fan quivers a bit and twiddles his thumbs. "I mean just 'people'... in this academy."

His elfin ears of water visibly sag once the merboy hears the refusal of his offer. "Oh, but..." Fan purses his lips for a moment. "I am not just any nature spirit, for I am the the 『Nature Spirit of the Ocean of Space and the River of Time』!" he boasts in the manner of a small child bashfully trying to boost his own confidence. The minute, spectral orb around him flares up with cool colors, and arcs of water that distort the space around them flow around it for a few instants.

"I can help you with all kinds of things. I can enchant you to complete your homework faster, slow things down when you require more time, teleport you or your belongings, scry distant places, transmute for you truly scrumptuous soup, cool you off on a blisteringly hot day... and more!" Fan's pitch comes off as pleading, almost desperate. "So... please, Ms. Rosey, will you not accept my services?"

Rosey noticed he really wanted to give his services. She smiled, and exhaled. "Of course. I can see you want to give your services." She says petting his head, from him being short. She looked at Elsa then at Fan.

"Well, this is Elsa. She's a Dragon or Dragonkin, and I'm a nature elemental." She says bowing her head slightly.

Fan's face visibly brightens, and his azure eyes widen and light up. The merboy's elfin ears wiggle happily, and his mouth curls up into a relieved smile. "Oh, thank you, Ms. Rosey!" he telepathically transmits with a somewhat gleeful, somewhat calmly content cadence. "I am certain that you will not regret this." The phantasmagoric orb orbiting around the boy brightens as it spins around at a swifter pace.

The mer begins to condense the water vapor in the air into a series of moving images of mist that visually depict whatever he explains. "All you must do to send a request to me is to place on a table a vessel of clean water, a timekeeping device such as a watch or a sandglass, and a space-measuring device such as a ruler or a compass, then state your request politely and aloud with good intentions," the nature spirit goes in a more composed tone, as if he has practiced this part of the pitch.

"It should be related to water, space, or time, and it should be something someone could do in just a few hours. I will be sure to complete it as soon as I can, and the three items will teleport themselves to whoever in the world needs them most!" he proudly elucidates.

"You can only send a request to me like this once per day though... and it is not as though I can just take requests from someone asking me in person or through a phone, because a nature spirit can only grow with that special rite." Fan's words are full of candor, and he places both hands over his heart.

"I have another kind of service to offer, but that one is a bit more advanced. I can talk about it later, if you would like, Ms. Rosey," directing a gracious smile towards her.

He visibly relaxes once he hears of Rosey's species. "It is wonderful to meet another direct child of the world. I doubt that we are of the same feather--nature elementals and nature spirits can be quite different, I understand--but we are still of the same general type, right? What are you a nature spirit of, Ms. Rosey?" the merboy politely asks with a small tilt of his head.

She smiles. "Well, I'm connected with the plants, and trees, and flowers, you name it! They all respond to my emotion and attitude." She says kneeling by the small flowers, showing him that.

The mer swims in the air over to the flowers to take in their frail beauty just as Rosey does. "Water helps nourish nearly all living things, and I would be glad to give you gentle rain to help your plants grow," Fan politely offers telepathically, reciprocating the smile with one of his own. The orb floating around him rains down a mild drizzle upon the merboy's head.

"Especially crops. My parents taught me that the people of matt-- people need crops to survive... right?" The child does not sound too certain. "I suppose you are a nature elemental and not a human though... oh, forget what I said," blushing in embarrassment.

"Yes, yes. Water helps all plants." She says gently touching one of the petals. She waves happily, and joyfully.

"You seem like a very nice person, Ms. Rosey," the nature spirit compliments with a calm smile. "If you can treat plants well and with care, then I am sure you are much the same around people."

She nods. "That is true. I think I treat every living thing with kindness." She says standing up once again, and closing her locker.

"I strive to do so as well; that is the way of the spirits I was raised by," Fan explains earnestly, with both hands upon his heart. "It gets difficult when bullies are around... but I try to talk first and stop them if that fails," his tone going a bit melancholy and anxious.

The youthful merboy finishes sorting through his book purse, slings it over his shoulder, and closes and secures his locker. "So, Ms. Rosey... I suppose we should attend our first class now? Or does something precede that? I am still somewhat uncertain myself..."

"Let us go to class." She says smiling. She walks to Science class, sitting down by the window in the back as well. Sitting in the sun makes her feel better, she is just like a flower. Sun light is her food.

Fan swims over to a table just beside Rosey, his motions a bit hesitant during the approach

"I hope you do not mind if I sit next to you, Ms. Rosey," almost apologetic, as though he should not be doing this. "I just... feel as though I should keep close to someone who can be a friend," so goes the nature spirit's mental speech.

The child gingerly pulls out the table's chair, sets it by the back of the room, and begins to hover in front of the table as though it was second nature. "My parents explained that I should excel at much in science... and particularly anything that has to do with water, space, or time. I surmise the same should apply to you with respect to plants, Ms. Rosey... right?" Fan asks without much certitude. The glowing, half-centimeter orb around him dims in intensity for a brief moment.

The mer takes out his main science book and sets it down on the table, taking care not to ruin any pages with any conjurations or manipulations of water.

She nods. "I do not like it when they experiment on the plants though. They do not like the feeling. Unless it fertilizer, then they love it!" She says smiling.

Jennifer walked into the school. She looked around at the ceiling, ground, and some of the lockers. She felt scared meeting people. She hoped there wasn't anyone mean or anything. She continued walking around the school. The sound of her walking echoed through the hallway.

"Science class is supposed to teach students how the world works, right?" Fan asks with a small tilt of his head. "If we can learn more about plants with some experiments... hmmm, no, that does not seem very ethical or moral to me either, now that I think about it," the merboy slowly begins to rationalize.

"I heard from my parents that there was once this very terrible human who experimented on other humans to expand the world's knowledge on the human body... and everyone considered him a very evil person," the nature spirit relates as he visibly quivers and shivers at the thought.

Fan floats at attention, ready to greet the teacher like a behaved little boy. The ethereal, chromatic orb orbits him at a slower velocity, as if to be more prim and proper.

As his gaze fixes itself on the front of the room, however, the nature spirit cannot help but be inexorably enthralled by the large clock resting high above. The hands of hours, minutes, and seconds. It was all so... beautiful and comforting. Yes. Today would be a good day, the merboy suddenly knows, as a slight smile breaks out on his fair face.

According to the packet he got for his new job, Old Man Henderson was to be teaching a class. What class that was, and really, any useful information that he might have needed was sadly, not included. After having wandered through the school, and picked a room that seemed mostly unoccupied. He sat at the desk in the front. From his bag he produced a large bottle of jack Daniels and a strange class sculptures that somewhat resembled a tube with a glass bulb. Atop the tube he placed a lampshade, while putting the bottle of whiskey in the desk.

"Well, dunno what to do now." He remarked. Putting his feet on the desk, while reclining.

"I guess I just wait for kids to show up." He grumbled as he placed his hat over his eyes. Drifting off to sleep.

The classroom was not quite unoccupied; it was the one that Fan had followed Rosey into for science class.

The nature spirit observes the liquid swishing about in the bottle, tracing its every motion and measuring its precise viscosity, with widened eyes and a mouth slightly agape. His trance visibly breaks once the whiskey gets set into the desk. Fan shakes his head to regain composure, and the phantasmal speck near him oscillates and wobbles to match the motion.

"Umm... good morning, sir," the merboy opens up while increasing his altitude, as though to simulate standing up. "Are you our science teacher?" he asks via mental transmission, tone meek and uncertain. "I hope that I am not breaking any school protocols by greeting you like this, sir..." The natu

The child's watery ears twitch skittishly as he awaits a response.

"More voices in my head? Usually the whiskey keeps them away at least until 8." Mumbled Old Man Henderson, as he gets up from the chair.

"Sweet mother of Hastur!" He exclaims, upon seeing the strange spirit and girl.

"I actually have to teach! Uhhhh, pop quiz what class is this? Science you say! Well then! Sit down! Pour a drink!" Upon saying this, he pulls several shotglasses from his bag.

"Either of you kids smoke? Because I will be." He states, as he pulls a entire humidor from his bag. Placing it in the corner.

Quickly forgetting the kids in his class, Old Man Henderson wandered over to the blackboard, and began sketching an elder rune on it.
