Astrien sighed, laying down next to him. She gently set her hed on his flank.

"It's not that i'm 'No Fun'. It's just that eating other wolves is wrong."

She said, closing her eyes for a few moments.

Astrien's eyes began feeling heavy. She lazily licked the little remains of the blood on her coat away, setting herad back down and falling asleep. There were still a few smudges on her chest, but nothing too much.

The blood on his fur was dried and wasn't visible due to the grey-black fur.

Schatten was already fast asleep​
 



She woke up a few hours later. Yawning, she stretched her paws, lightly touching his underbelly as she moved back to stretch her back.

"Wake up Schatten."

She whispered, lazily looking around.

His leg twitched, almost in a running state.


His head shook rapidly as if he was shaking off water.


He looked around frantically, the fear in his eyes was visible.


Schatten quickly scrambled to his paws and took a defensive stance.
 



Astrien looked at him, confused.

"Are you alright Schatten?"

She asked softly, frowning. What was wrong? Glancing around, she spotted no threats. She dragged her gaze back to him, confusion written all over her face.

He turned around , sighing from relief.


"Sorry-...I'm not very used to waking up next to another wolf." He gave an awkward smile.


He sat down again, his tail waging from happiness and excitement.


"So- what are we going to do today?" His wide eyed smile was almost like a small pup's smile.
 



Astrien smiled.

"I was thinking we could go hunting. You look like you're starving."

She said, standing up again. Her tail swished behind her as she began to walk.

"Up ahead there is a clearing. Some deer usually hangout there. Maybe we can catch one of them."

She whispered, her eyes glued ahead. She lowered her body slightly, half of it covered by the grass.

"Alrighty- you stay here...I'll flank them." he whispered back, quickly stalking around to another point of attack.


He used his claws to climb a tree, quickly scrambling up to one of the lowest branches and stepping quietly onto it.
 
Rareck looks at Shadow "That doesn't sound like her at least as far as I know " he said standing up again
 
"Yes I wouldn't be so hard on you either of course I would never be hard on you" she said laying down next to him
 
Shadow looked down sadly "At most she would have been scolded! Asher may be cold but he isn't heartless!" She howled starting cry, putting her paws over her face to hide them from Rareck. "I just want her to come back....the pups miss her and so I Rareck" Shadow stood up looking at him, tears still running from her eyes.
 
Rareck placed his head on hers" Come on don't cry shadow , come on lets go find her but first lets take the pups back ok" he says in a very calming voice
 
He smiled and licked her cheek.


"Please don't go back to your pack tonight." He said. "Stay with me."
 
"okay....I've just been worried is all" shadow turned to the pups "line up! Youngest in the middle!" She ordered as they scurried to get into a line.


Tavi who had been chasing a butterfly ran right into Rareck, falling over and rolling he started to shake his head and looked around to get his bearings.


"Tavi.....I know you are new but when I tell everyone to line up it is so you learn how we travel as a pack" shadow said nudging him to the back of the line.

"Don't worry Amoux I won't go back , I don't Asher will be fine with me there" she said with a smile
 
"yeah, my name's Tavi, wanna play?" He asked as he looked up to Roreck.


"He and a female have been allowed to stay with the pack for now, their alpha was quite mean to them for just....never mind" shadow said as she started back to the main den. Her head hanging low "Linara was so much better at teaching them, I'm only good at hunting and playing"
