Fantasy A Vampires Summons ((LOOKING FOR PLAYERS))

Solomon simply laughed with Morana at her joke, keeping an eye on everyone around them as he waited patiently. "Now now Sister, there's no need for you to trouble yourself. We are guests here." He responded to her trying to offer assistance to Winter. When hearing her comments on nobility and such he smiled softly, finding her rather cynical tone to be cute in it's own way. "Well, I think wealth and privilege simply brings out who the person truly is. Those immoral tendencies are always there, some just allow themselves to become slaves to their flesh more eagerly than others." He spoke to her, enjoying the opportunity to have a good conversation. Of course, the pleanstry of it all was short lived as the man with the cigarette revealed himself. Not because of him specifically, but because Solomon noticed that apparently every nonhuman in the room was hungering FOR human. It really upset him that he could resist the urge, and sustain himself on so little at a time, while these people didn't even try to hide the looks in their eyes. If only they gave a life of peace and moral dedication a chance like he did. Free will sucks sometimes.

While everyone was in the dining room eating Bella went to her coffin and read a book her favorite book was beauty and the beast she has read it over 15 times.

Winter looked at the nun and shook her head. Solomon explained perfectly. "I cannot allow you to work for me. It's not right. I wouldn't feel right." She sighed. After finishing setting up the table she took a step back and relaxed. "I can't say I introduced myself." She said. "I'm Winter." She smiled. She glanced over at the father and her gaze lessened its softness. He insulted her only earlier. He knew what they were and she knew he was probably going to stop... Whatever was happening here.

She noticed the Chef calling in Quinn to the kitchen, but didn't intervene. It seemed they had their own business to take care of.

Morana smiled at Quinn as he spoke. She knew the boy was being his usual strange kind of modest and found it charming. Her attention returned to Winter as she had responded.
"Well, it's really very nice to properly meet you, Winter. In any case, guest or not, I'd be more than willing to help. If you happen to need anything done, or just another set of hands, please, don't hesitate to ask. I'd love the chance to show my gratitude for having been invited into your home." She responded to her and also to Solomon in a way.
"My compliments to the chef. This all smells absolutely wonderful." Morana added as Winter and Balmond went by with the food. "Can only imagine what it will taste like." She said this last part almost halfheartedly, because it was true, for the most part. Her sense of taste had been stunted in the same swing as her loss of vision.
Sister Morana reached into her sleeve of wraps and retrieved a handkerchief, bringing it up to her face in time to cover an already stifled sneeze.
"Excuse me." She said lowering it to her lap, in case she needs it again.
"But, that's very true, Father." Morana continued on the topic of extravagance. "Wealth and influence are merely tools. It is the wielder that determines their nature. I was just poking fun, is all."
The room was becoming more lively as the food had started being placed at the table.
The man pushing the cart along with Winter had caused her to sneeze. The stench of cigarettes fumed off his clothing. It was definitely one of Sister Morana's most disliked vices.
She tried not to seem obviously put off and moved the conversation along.
"Father, I notice we never discussed the nature of your affiliation with the Church. I'd love to hear about it." She angled herself more towards him, showing measure of attention even though she couldn't physically look at him. "Your chapter must be quite interesting. I don't mean to offend but...are there any more like you?"

"Well, I am affiliated with the faith of our heavenly Father. But I am... Independent in a way. I spent many years of my early life at the Vatican before heading to a small village to tend to my little sister and act as the priest for the smaller towns and villages. During those times there weren't many people educated enough to have their own priests. Then after becoming a vampire, and reflecting deeply on the words in the Bible, I felt I had to set out on my own as the Church's ways began feeling ungodly. Fortunately I did so with the blessing of the Church. Mostly because I promised to use my eternal life to do missions for them when they needed." He chuckled a little mischievously at the last part, revealing the more childlike innocent side of himself. "As for whether there are any more like me, there are not." Solomon sighed. "Disappointing, but the desires that arise from being a vampire are powerful. Back to my affiliation though, they allowed me to keep my title as priest, but I am mostly a ministerial type. I do not have the same vows as the priests that belong to the church, which makes resisting temptations even harder for me, but I have made my own vows so I am not without accountability." He explained. Solomon felt good being able to let someone know about his situation. It made him feel less lonely.

André could finally see the castle in the distance though the window of the taxi. He was a little worried that showing up late might come off as lazy, as he didn't want to insult the host. He was sure the host knew of his condition and all would be forgiven hopefully. He slowly got out of the taxi, giving the driver a tip of course, walking towards the entrance. When he reached the entrance he knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer. Something seemed a a bit off to him, he was externally curious as to what happened next.

Quinn stood and smiled, "I'll get the door." He said.

Leaving the dining hall, he skated down to the main entrance o the mansion. He opened the door to see another guest. He was clear that he was of Asian descent and he smelt off. Despite having enhanced senses, his smell was still in need of work.

"Welcome." He said, "You are late but I'm sure no one will be mad. Come in, sir."

André was a bit surprised to see someone so young here. He had to chuckle a bit when he called him Sir "Call me André. I'm sorry I'm late. Are you another guest here?" He was a bit curious this boy didn't look european and he spoke English.

"Oh no." He began to explain, "I live here. My parents knew the owner so when they died they asked me to come and live here."

He led the man inside and walked with him. "I'm Quinn," he said. "I hope you enjoy your stay. Dinner is currently being served so if you wish to join us right away then you should." He smiled, "The dining hall is through there."

He skated across the smooth floors into the dining hall. He wondered what André would taste like. He was very good looking and so that wouldn't be a problem for Quinn. He just hoped his handsome face matched to a beautiful personality.

There was something very off about all of this including this kid, he couldn't put his finger on it. "Very sorry to hear about your...parents, my parents also have both moved on. Dinner of course, I am....parched" André spoke very slowly in monotone "This castle is very impressive I will need a house tour. I sent my belongings ahead of time I hope they arrived....safely. I'm dying to met the person who has generously sent me on this vacation, I must thank them, I brought them a small gift. I'm also dying to met the other....." He was wondering if everyone else who was also sent here was as unique as this boy "Guests. Thank you for guiding me here Quinn."

He walked into the dinner hall to formally introduce himself waiting to be seated down "I hope I'm not interrupting...I am André Wong I've come a very long way. I would appreciate a seat and a drink."

Winter watched as another guest entered the dining hall. How many were actually coming? The count should've given me a number. She walked over to him and bowed. "My name is Winter, and I'm the maid here. You can be seated anywhere, I'll take your bags up to your room. Is there anything I can do for you?" She asked, hoping he wouldn't need anything since she already had a lot on her plate.

"I'm very sorry I'm late Winter, you have such....lovely weather here. I wondering about that...you see...I sent my belongings ahead of time, I hope they arrived...safely. I have a sleeping disorder, I can't sleep without my particular bed." André kept eye contact the entire time he was talking.

Winter nodded. "Yes, we did receive it." She reassured him. "And it's no problem. You do have an entire month to be here." She reminded. "You enjoy dinner, I'll be back shortly." She said, walking away.

"Thank you....very much Winter" He sat down at the table where the was the least amount of light. He looked over to the other guests, eyeing them up. None seemed to be similar to Quinn, how interesting. Some of them where humans as well, just what was going on here.

The host here surely must of been a vampire or have some sort of connection to one, he couldn't think of any other reason why he would invited here. But what about theses other guests, it all seemed very mysterious to him, he didn't recognize any of them. André normally tried to stay away from events like this, but something about all of this just seemed so interesting he couldn't stay away. He though back to the last time he was in europe fifty years ago, was the host someone connected to his father? No he couldn't be, could he?

"Oh, the Vatican! It must have been quite the experience! I only wish I could have seen it with my own eyes. It is very beautiful, as I've come to understand." Morana commented, subconsciously touching her veil as she spoke of sight. "That's quite the legend, Father." she complimented him his journey so far. "I can't imagine how hard the years must have been on you. I'm absolutely inspired by your story and I'm sure your sister, and the rest of your family, would be very proud of you and your achievements."
Morana said before shifting in her seat to the arrival of a new guest.

She bowed her head in greeting, the the stone on her veil blinking as she took a look at him. She didn't want to interrupt her conversation with Father Solomon, but felt the need to welcome.

Solomon nodded his head respectfully towards the new arrival, "Welcome to dinner. I am Father Solomon, but you can just call me Father. This is Sister Morana." He properly introduced them both to André. "Forgive me." He excused himself to continue conversing with Morana.

"My family was not fortunate enough to live through their natural life spans. Vampires took their lives. My sister was only 7, and she was blind as you are. After losing them is when I learned how to... Protect myself." He phrased it the best he could without outright saying he just learned how to kill vampires. "The years have indeed been very difficult. Hundreds of years old and I have never so much as held hands with someone. Ideally I would have a vampire bride so that old age would not separate us, but there are no other vampires interested in the faith as I. And the thirst is an entire tribulation itself." He sighed. Solomon smiled slightly, "But I've made it this far and I'm glad I have. Especially with the kind of company," He referred to Morana playfully, "right now, and the food." Solomon looked as the rest of the dishes were being set on the table. He had been waiting eagerly for Winter to let them all know when they could eat.

Gabriel grows increasingly impatient waiting for the Count's arrival. He sips a tinted glass of vitreous ichor threough a straw, frustrated at not being able to indulge in a full meal by the demand that he stay wrapped up. The bandages are just one layer of disguise, he's got another underneath. What is it about Ghouls that gets Vampire so agitated? Is it a reminder that he's what they are without the human guise? That they needed him because without him the drained corpses of their victims would rot and the castle would fill with garbage? A bunch of puffed-up mosquitoes, that's what they are.
Where is the Count?

André was very surprised to just see this priest talk so openly about vampires, as if they where a everyday part of life here. He almost wanted to burst out laughing at the through of marring one, but he kept silent "Your sister was killed how....awful. I don't believe in vampires...I've never met one or seen one. I am a simple ambassador that's the life I live. It sounds like you've had quite the.... adventuress life. How did you come about to be a....priest, where your...parents religious?

"Pleased to meet you." Morana interjected before Father Solomon continued to speak to her. Her head shifted back to face him.
A melancholy look etched itself across her face as Solomon spoke about his family's untimely death.
"I'm so sorry." she said solemnly, placing her hand on his. "It's a fearful thing, to love that which death can touch." she said paraphrasing Judah Halevi.
"I don't have any blood relations, that I know of. Mother Superior found me when I was very young, I had lost my way as well as my memory. All and everyone I know is the convent, the greater monastery. I've seen many pass on in my lifetime but none felled by evil. I can't begin to imagine your heartache."
She her hand lingered as he spoke of his conjugal loneliness but was modestly retracted when he related her to it. She didn't mean it scornfully, she just intended to save herself from sending mixed signals. Devout as he may be, the Father was still a creature of immorality as well as immortality. Provoking him to any one reaction was not her intent.
"Pleasant company, indeed. Company I'm glad to be able to be in."
The nun's attention was again returned to the newcomer, an ambassador as he claimed.
"Nor did I. Father Solomon enlightened me to the world in wider scope. A more...supernatural scope." The implications of it all still made her a bit uneasy when she really analyzed them and she reached for her pendant, her habitual response to stress. Morana simply acknowledged Andre's question involving Solomon's parents and introduction to service. She positioned to seem attentive for the Father's response.

Father could feel Morana pull away both physically and metaphorically. He knew she still saw him like every other creature at this table. And it hurt. He looked away from Morana to address the ambassador, "Well I don't mind if you don't believe in me. As for your inquiry as to my parents, yes they were religious. I became a priest rather plainly. Helped the priest at my village, studied intensely, showed great promise, then I was sent to the Vatican. They claimed I was a prodigy on the topic of theology due to my quick understanding of what I read. When I became old enough I went through the proper channels to become a priest. And here I am." He told his story without much grandeur. "My life though has been very adventurous indeed. The fifteen and sixteen hundreds were the most exciting for me personally."

André nodded not breaking eye contract with the woman in response to the greeting "The...pleasure...is mine...madam?..." André has a slight french accent as he talks English. The woman did not offer her name so he couldn't properly thank her. Both of their families seemed to be dead, how tragic. Of course he did not feel any sympathy or sadness for either of them, he had a large hole in his chest that went to his back, he was heartless. He did learn good information though. All three of us didn't have any parents, was that the link between all the guests?

"Congratulations father, I'm afraid to say I don't share the same love for the.....Vatican" His mother was burned at the stake by religious zealots so he didn't have any love for anyone of any belief. If this priest was as old as he claimed André was going to have to watch himself around him, he couldn't be sure if he was a enemy or not.
