Arabelle smiled and hugged Cross gently. "Hi Cross." she said with a smile.

Jacen Rosenthal
Jcaen didn't seem even touched or bothered in the slightest by any hits, as if they didn't even touch him. Too much willpower and determination flew through him. The wind, huh? Jacen then had to be like a rock. He stood in one place, in a defensive position, waiting for Ari's move.

Jacen stood there. The wind cuts from a block were pretty weak in general, so Ari wasn't surprised. However, standing there was not the smartest thing to do


"Blue Rose." The petals flowed in the wind. Blue petals were extreme cold.


Ari swung Primrose and even if he blocked, an icy windstorm was unleashed on Jacen. The cuts here were much more brutal, as if Ari himself were swinging the sword hundreds of times everywhere. That, mixed with the Blue Petals, would hit with a hard cold burn.


Ari then unleashed a fast barrage of thrusts with Primrose. Between the slashes from the wind and the thrusts from Primrose, his chances of dodging/blocking even half were low.

Jacen stood there. The wind cuts from a block were pretty weak in general, so Ari wasn't surprised. However, standing there was not the smartest thing to do

Ari then unleashed a fast barrage of thrusts with Primrose. Between the slashes from the wind and the thrusts from Primrose, his chances of dodging/blocking even half were low.

Arabelle heard Ari fighting and rolled her eyes. "Even on the day of our wedding he couldn't resist a fight."

Bailey cleared her throat, "Tyr, honey, you're staring."

"Hm? No I'm not." Tyr said shaking his head. "I'm going to talk to Father Bishop. Maybe squeeze in a confession."

Jacen tried keeping up, but it quickly overwhelmed him. He blocked a few more of the attacks, but he was cut down by the others. He emerged freezed to the bone, with ice shards stuck in his armor and face. There were several wounds on his body, with blood seeping through them. You could easily say... EASILY say, that any mortal man would already perish, but Jacen stood there. Seemingly, he didn't feel much pain, if any he even felt any pain at all. He looked at Ari and taunted "That's all you got?" with the most unimpressed voice he could muster out.

He rushed at Ari, hoping that the shock of him not feeling any pain, and being unimpressed would allow Jacen to catch him offguard. He would attempt the strongest, fastest slash he could, his willpower and determination empowering him.

Celia ran into town and to her boat. She had only one nice outfit and that was only because she had raided a ship and it had the dress in her size. She did not like dresses but today would be an exception. (Still doing the thing irl guys srry. It aint working so we r trying to fix it)

He unsummoned Primrose. The roses disappeared too. "I spent the battle not using much magic. I didn't want to mess up my clothes. You've far surpassed my expectations........." To the point where he fucked around and almost died. Ari saw Elaina standing there, looking annoyed. "Yea, yea, I'm coming."


"I don't even know if you'd really want someone like me as a mentor. If you do though, show up tomorrow and I can pull off the wedding restraints." Jacen still had some stuff to learn, and Ari thought he had seen it all. A kid born without pain sensors though was insane.


He summoned a vial of potion and tossed it to him. "The wedding's about to start."

"Y-Yes. Sir!" he said, proudly, loudly and respectfully, breathing heavily. Jacen was still agitated from the cold, and the pain. He didn't feel them. He could, if he chose to. But his willpower, the power of his mind. He could choose to ignore pain. He took out some ice shards from his body, then grabbed the potion that Ari threw him and drank it. His wounds slowly restored and Jacen cleaned off the blood from himself. "I'm so happy you accepted me. I will be able to continue the family tradition despite... well, my father's death." he said, sighing a little.
