Fantasy A Time of Kings

  • Weapon: She has a bastard sword with ancient runes engraved on it that cause it to glow mysteriously in the moon light.


  • Clothing: Metal blue tinted chest armor with a warm cotton dress beneath it.


  • Gear: She has her sword, and in her bag she would have multiple bags of bird feed. She would also carry a short skinning knife and a lumberjacks axe.


  • Bio: She was born deep in the woods far away from the nearest city. Her mother was an elf while her father was a human, at an early age, her father ashamed that he had created a half-breed, walked out on her and her mother. For the rest of her preteen life she lived with her mother working on the small ranch. But when she had reached the age thirteen a band of cult members had come upon her little ranch and set fire to it. Some guards that where wandering the forest for bandits and in this case cult members had chases them off. After all the chaos had ended Ambriel ended up finding her mother had been stabbed in the gut by a cult member. So Ambriel picked up the sword and inspected the shimmering runes on it. Mesmerized by the sword she forgot about her mothers death and set off from the ranch to seek work as a lumberjack. She seeks to destroy most zealots and religious killers. She thinks that instead of the cult that killed her mother it was the god they followed. Now she is on a path to find a god and forget about her problems.

As for magic you can see, he projects pure (arcane) energy, which has a burn effect, great for heavily armored targets, as it slowly melts the armor if it is in a concentrated beam. It's forms are judged by the user, Enigma.


He may also turn into black smoke to move very quickly, almost like teleportation.)

Bio: This demon was once a skilled soldier. He abused his power and the God of Judgement sent him to hell. He was used to fight against angels. He was powerful and became a commander of the demon army. Angels, finding him useful, sealed him away, but forgot about him. He remains sealed in a book to this day. The rest is too be revealed.

  • Gear:(See above) a small locket in the shape of a rose, a small pack full of potions. A book on Illusion magic. Small amount of food


  • Bio: Adin was always different, when he didn't want to be found, he never was. He was sneaky, and deceptive as a child. his mother loved him even though he always was in trouble with the elders. when he was a child, he was afraid of shadows, telling his mother that he sees things in them. She would laugh, and comfort him by saying "I will banish the shadows" She also gave him his necklace then. At the age of 7, his mother began to train him in illusion magic, he blossomed and excelled. At age 16 he was out helping a nearby woman, when he was finished he returned home, and found his mother; fatally wounded, Her lost words were; Banish the shadows, Adin. He found the Staff laying next to his mother. The town assumed he killed his mother. So he had to leave, and journey the world, set on Banishing the shadows.

Appearance: Despite his age,Nocturne looks to be in his mid 20's; he is 5'9 with a slight build as well as curly, raven black hair that barely touches his shoulders. His ears are slightly pointy like an elf but he keeps them mostly hidden by his hair, thought they each have three small, silver rings pierced through them. His eye color is a dark black, sometimes turning a dark red whenever he is enraged. He has two scars on his left cheek that seem to be have been scratched down by some large animal (or monster). His chest, arms, and back are covered with black tribal tattoos, he also has a thin, grey tail that starts from his lower back before ending in a demonic looking point.

Nocturne expertly wields two silver, medium sized twin blades that he keeps hanging at his sides, hidden beneath his cloak. For taking care of far away opponents quickly he also has many throwing knives that he keeps sheated across his chest for quick accessibility. As well as having these physical weapons, he also knows how to employ shadows to aid him for both combat and stealth. Being able to be absorbed into shadows for a period of time to remain hidden from others while still being conscious of his surroundings as well as being able to use the shadows as weapons. Controlling shadows around him, causing them to take physical forms as they stretch out to ensnare and stab through his opponents.

Nocturne has black, leather light armor that he wears underneath a black cloak that covers his shoulders and hides his tail, the cloak also has a hood that he uses alongside a matching black mask that only covers half his face, the hood helping to hide the rest of his face. He sometimes chooses to not wear the mask or hoodie to allow others to see him, he also wears black combat boots that are padded to help muffle the noise of his footsteps.


Gear:
Nocturne does not need much, only taking things he can carry on his waist. Among the items he usually has is a water canister, and a small pouch with lethal ingredients that he uses to create poisons on the move when needed.


Bio:
Nocturne is an outcast, not getting along with many, including other of his "kin". Not taking kindly to others trying to lead him or control him, he thought of himself as his own master and would not bend the knee to anyone, he yearned for the chance to take his rightful place as ruler of the so called "kings" and "lords". Thus far he hasn't found that chance so for now he travels where he likes and does what he pleases, getting rid of anyone that gets in his way or annoys him. He is an accomplished assassin after all, knowing how to disappear into shadows in order to slash your throat open before you can even react, and gods help you if try to put up a fight.

  • Appearance: With her tell-tale slightly pointed ears, Anaya has a darker skin tone- the color of mahogany- and icy blue eyes. She has long, wavy black hair that falls to her thighs which is normally kept out of the way in a ponytail or braid. She’s a bit shorter than most, standing at 5’6.


  • Weapon: Fighting isn’t her forte but Anaya did receive basic combat lessons at her home. She’s capable of using a simple broadsword but would much rather use any of the multitude of small daggers she has hidden on her.


  • Clothing: When traveling, she chooses to dress practically. Preferring loose clothing to hide her daggers, she’ll wear an outfit consisting of a loose, sky blue blouse and black trousers with sturdy leather boots and a simple black cloak covering her. However, whenever she is performing a show, her outfit is completely different. Anaya will wear a red, midriff baring top with peasant sleeves that fall to her elbows and a long black silk skirt adorned with gold embroidery. She wears a single golden cuff on her right ear, a parting gift given to her from her mother.
  • Gear: She has various holsters strapped to her hips and thighs for holding her daggers. A simple leather traveling bag will be slung over her shoulder and it contains some food, her money, first aid supplies, and bedding and a tent for whenever she’s unable to find a proper tavern to sleep at. There is also an extra pouch hidden on her that contains a few jewels from her old home in case she is ever strapped for cash.


  • Bio: Anaya’s mother was the illegitimate half-elf child of a dalliance between an elf noble and an ordinary human and her father was a wandering elf who happened to catch her mother’s eye. After a night of passion, Anaya was conceived, much to the consternation of the nobility surrounding her family. Not only was the child conceived out of wedlock, her mother was currently married to a prominent elf noble and the whole ordeal brought shame and gossip onto the family. Nevertheless, Anaya was allowed to be raised as part of the family, alongside her step-siblings. Due to the nature of her conception, Anaya faced much criticism and rejection and her sole ally was her mother. Seeing how unhappy her child was, Anaya’s mother decided to set her free from the chains of her family at the age of sixteen, allowing the girl to set out into the world and live how she wanted to. With this newfound freedom, Anaya travels the world under her father’s last name, Blair, and makes her money by doing “parlor tricks” with the bit of magic and sleight of hand she’s learned.

  • Weapon: A simple staff with a human skull at the end of it. He is also a Necromancer. He may also cast minor illusion spells.

  • Gear: Christopher carries many potions all with different effects. See weapons as well.


  • Bio: Christopher grew it in a small settlement, there were so few living in it, and its borders were so small, it was not marked on the map. It consisted of 5 shacks, 7 people in each. Most of the people were old, or disabled travelers who only needed to rest. Christopher grew up here, doing work in their fields and chopping down wood. Eventually, he grew tired of people leaving the settlement so they wouldn't have to do work. He wanted to leave as well, but he also didn't want the settlement to starve, seeing as he was one of the few workers there. One day, at night, he sneaked out of his settlement to find lost travelers in the forest, and ask them to come work for him in exchange for food, water, and a home. He didn't find anyone; who would help anyway. But, he did find a man sitting at a camp fire. Christopher asked him to work for him. The man denied. Christopher pleaded and told him about the settlement's situation. He laughed and told him to have a seat. He taught him how to raise they dead to use them in defense, and when defense was not needed, he taught Christopher how to use them to work. Christopher thanked the man and ran back to his settlement to sleep and test it in the morning. When he woke up, he immediately went to the fields to raise the dead. He was successful. They began to work in the fields. The other few farmers stared in horror. They told the rest of the settlement what Christopher had done. Despite the Christopher's attempt to help, the people shunned him. Christopher was not angry, nor sad. He understood why people were afraid. After all, he did raise the dead. In his travels, he found an injured horse. He nursed the horse to health. After that, the Horse followed Christopher. Eventually he did what a sensible person would do - Ride it. On horseback he traveled to small settlements with a terrible economy or ones with corrupt leaders. He taught them how to use the dead for their own benefit. He's gained a fair share of money on his travels, though he's been attacked for his teachings. He's been doing this for years, and many stories have been made up about him, though they were not commonly known.
