Fantasy A Swan Lake Story (Lycoris & MusicLuvrNow)

Erasmus glanced to Carlita. " So, tell me, how are things in the forest? What about the First?"

" Really? Ooh! Well, that's all he ever talked about anyway! What about Frieda the Flightey?" He asked tilting his head.

"Everybody's gone! Just like that! Gone! You know what that means?" He asked sitting on the ground. "I'm old!" He sniffled obviously upset. "Nobody needs me!" He cried out as Odette approached Erasmus. "We need you! The Fairy Queen says there's a legend about the magic crystal. It's written in the book of forest lore." Odette said softly smiling to the troll. Seeing the glimmer of the crystal on her head, Erasmus eyes widened. "Oh my. Is that... is that?" He asked gesturing to the crystal.

"May I see the book?" Odette asked politely as Erasmus jumped to his feet. "May you see it? Oh, absolutely! Oh, right away!" He runs off to a random shelf looking for the book. "My filing system is a state of the art." He said proudly despite piles of random books being placed about as he starts pulling books off with no idea where it is. Pulling off a book, he turned back to the two girls. " A-ha! It looks exactly like this! Only bigger! And red. And of course it's got that special lock. I could swear I just laid my eyes on it!" He said showing them a book that looked nothing like the book they were looking for as Odette went to a pile and was looking through them. "We can help." She said smiling.

After what seemed like forever, Erasmus sighed. "Oh, I give up! Where could that book be?"
"We'll find it, Erasmus. We haven't been looking that long." Odette said softly.
"Are you kidding?" Carlita said. "We've been looking the whole night."

"We have?" Odette asked looking surprise glancing out the window seeing the sun as rising. Standing in front of a mirror she watched herself as the magic changed her back into a swan again. "Which shelf next, Erasmus? We're going to find the book if it takes all day!"

Back at Rothbart's palace, Odile was looking through her jewelry. "Boring. Dull. Ugly. Ugh! I have nothing to wear it's humiliating!"
Rothbart was nearby, pacing, trying to figure out how to get the magic crystal.

Odile glanced over to her father. "Oooh, I know that look. You are thinking, aren't you Daddy?"

Odile perked up sitting up from the couch. "Crown? I don't have one of those! Get it for me, Daddy, I want one!"

Odile pouted crossing her arms. "But I don't wanna wait! I'm like the most out of fashion bird princess in the forest! Why don't you just destroy her, Daddy? Any human can do it!"

Rothbart stopped. "Of course! Now that that girl is a creature of the forest, even the magic crystal can't protect her from a human! Brilliant ducky!"

Rothbart flew over the forest seeing a human riding a horse nearby. Flying low, he was encouraging the hunter to chase after him into the enchanted forest.

Daniel followed the bird to the enchanted forest and once he saw Odette in swan form, he nocked an arrow to his bow, ready to fire. "What a prize!" he exclaimed. "So beautiful."

Rothbart led Daniel into the forest flying overhead the sleeping Odette. She was startled as she flew about unaware of Daniel presence. Seeing the sun was starting to set, she landed on the ground as she transformed back into a human once more.

Odette glanced surprised to see the prince of the kingdom was here. "Ah! How did you get here." She bowed to him. "Your highness."

"My name is Odette, I live in the village. At least I did, until..." Odette said trailing off.
