Vex moved over to Blaze and placed his free hand on her shoulder. "Wait..... we'll get him....we just need the Chaos Emerald." He told her.

"Wait, the both of you? You're going to the Sol Dimension?" Knuckles asked.

 

[Breech Loader]

Blaze looked at Knuckles' hand on her shoulder, but didn't push it away, "I need TWO Chaos Emeralds," she told Knuckles, "I've done it myself... the first time, I'll concede that I almost died. But you don't have to help me, Knuckles. Neither do you, Vex. It's my responsibility..."

 

[RedtheRoyalGuard]

"You're not getting rid of me that easily, princess." Vex grinned at her then moved his hand to his chin, grabbing the Phantom Ruby and placing it on the table.

"Two Emeralds? They're scattered, for all I know. I could help but I'm not sure. It's been a while since I've used them." Knuckles said.

 

[Breech Loader]

"Well, it's not as difficult as finding all seven," Blaze added, calming a little at the two men insistently offering help, "It's a form of Chaos Control, but enough to pass between dimensions rather than freezing time. I expect GUN will have one, although I have no idea if they'll lend it to me. Perhaps Tails will have one he's experimenting on?"

She sighed and looked at Knuckles, "I'm destabilising your world by being here, and destabilising my own by being absent."

 

[RedtheRoyalGuard]

"Speaking of Chaos Control.....it's been a long while since we heard from our hedgehog friends, Shadow and Amy." Vex told Blaze, crossing his arms, "As for getting the Chaos Emeralds, we better hurry."

"What about a Super Emerald? Would those work?" Knuckles asked, curious.

 

[Breech Loader]

"I... I don't know," Blaze told Knuckles, "I've never used them. But it's bound to be worth a shot. Do you know where to find them?"

 

[RedtheRoyalGuard]

"They're in the Hidden Palace in Angel Island's deepest. I can lead you there, if you so wish." Knuckles said.

"That must work. They must be stronger emeralds if they're called Super." Vex said quietly.

 

[Breech Loader]

"I can assure you, I won't be able to take them back to the Sol Dimension," Blaze promised, "Perhaps if they're stronger I'll only need one... but am I really welcome on Angel Island?" she checked, "I've never been there before."

 

[RedtheRoyalGuard]

"Trust me. No more badnicks are there since they're most likely shut down. Eggman wouldn't be stupid enough to get the Master Emerald of the Super Emeralds." Knuckles said.

 

[Breech Loader]

"Then I'll feel very welcome there," Blaze smiled again, and looked around at the base, "You know, Knuckles, nobody comes back here now that Eggman isn't in charge of most of the world, nobody uses the Resistance Base. You could have just left it all to rust," she raised an eyebrow, interested in his answer.

"We still had this equipment left. Some of these were abandoned but I kept them." Knuckles said.

 

[Breech Loader]

"I can see," Blaze looked away a little, "Dedication to duties. That's... an admirable character trait, Knuckles. It can be difficult, sometimes..."

 

[RedtheRoyalGuard]

"Thank you, Blaze. Heh....you guys need more help." Knuckles said then started to leave the base, "Come on."

Vex smiled a little and nodded.

 

[Breech Loader]

Blaze followed Knuckles, "I suppose I should contact Amy and check that she hasn't done anything silly and wish her goodbye, before I leave," she added, "I should have stayed with her, but I was just in such a rush..."

 

[RedtheRoyalGuard]

"Yeah.....I would like it if we could see her one final time...and I hope you'll be happy with the prince you marry." Vex told her, following them.

 

[Breech Loader]

"I won't be," Blaze told him flatly, "But, I'm a Princess and a Guardian, so it has to be somebody of status."

 

[RedtheRoyalGuard]

"Yeah....makes sense." Vex muttered as they were lead outside of the base. He gripped his Wispon as he crouched down.

"You guys ready?" Knuckles asked.

 

[Breech Loader]

"Of course," Blaze told him.

Vex nodded.

Knuckles nodded in returned then climbed onto the wall then started gliding towards Angel Island.

Vex glared at Knuckles then started following, sending a small explosion that sent him upward, and he kept repeating it.

 

[Breech Loader]

"Wait!" Blaze shouted after the two of them, "I can't fly!"

Vex had only made it to the top of the building and stopped the explosion and started to fall but sent another explosion to keep him from falling. He moved past Blaze and went back into the base.

Knuckles landed on the roof and looked down at them.

 

[Breech Loader]

Blaze jumped up, but she was unfamiliar with the architecture, and the random explosions, and slipped.

Vex turned and ran back to Blaze, moving under to catch her.

 

[Breech Loader]

Blaze let out a yell, and fell right into his arms.

Vex flinched from the princess landing in his arms and blushed, turning away. This is like a fairytale way.... He thought as he set her up right.
