Fandom A pokemon adventure

Warren listened to Jasmine talk about her home region. It sounded like a cool place to go. Maybe after he was done here he'd have to stop by...
Jasmine ended up being a nice person to hang out with. She listened to him, and was easy to talk to. Not to mention they already proved they had the teamwork dynamic down.
Warren was suprised to see his friend from before. Although he sounded a bit strange... warren wondered if he should call him a cab...
"Hey man, nice to see you again, ehh?"
Meanwhile, Pancham was slumped over his shoulder, struggling to not fall asleep.
"...Wait, for real? We're famous?"
Warren leaned into the man's watch, examining the headline.
"Wow... we really are famous, ehh? I thought people were staring at me because Pancham was chilling on my shoulder. But I'd much rather be seen as a hero than a villain! B-but I dunno about the Romeo and Juliette comparison... like, didn't they both die? Well... yeah it was for love and all, but it was pretty sad... I mean I get the Refrence, but maybe a Prince Charming and princess thing woulda been better, but I'm just rambling now... We're famous, Jasmine! Whadda ya think about that?"
He smiled, looking to Jasmine. He didn't even mind the "lovers" connection. It was the last thing to worry about, because not only were they famous, but it may make his objective easier in the long run...
"You hear that Jotaro?"
Jotaro had fallen asleep. He must have been sore from the last battle.
"Lets see how we can play this card in the trials!"

Pkmn out:Leo

Leo began to get restless as his trainer stood still. The umbreon gave his young companion a nip on the hand to get his attention.

"Ow! Leo! Why?"
Frowning, the young man held the umbreon up by its underarms, looking it in the eye. It gave him a look. With a sigh, he placed the pokemon on his shoulder where it made itself comfortable with a happy rumbling in it's throat. Jesse rolled his eyes, a smile playing across his face.

"Alright. Let's find a park."

Turning forward once more, he put his hands in his pockets and began to walk again. This time Leo on his shoulder like a Chatot.
The umbreon kept looking around as they moved, it's gaze locking on a pancham with it's trainer. It had never seen one before, and clambered up onto Jesse's head to get a better look, tilting its head and pawing Jesse's face. Trying to get a better grip in position to observe the strange pokemon.

"Ow! Leo what are you doing?"

Stopping mid-stride he followed his umbreon's gaze and frowned in puzzlement as he pulled out his pokedex and began scrolling through the data for a match.

"What pokemon is that?"

Cliff took note of both their reactions, with a simple nod and a look of dismay for but a brief moment. It was the kind of expression you give the mareep as it thoughtlessly heads to the slaughter. He was a quick thinker and loved to converse with others, but never had much idea how to deal with blockheads. Their innability to read the graveness in his statement left him a bit dumbfounded in that instant, however it was only but an instant. He grinned at warren's comment, nodding at either his bravery or reckless abandon. " I s'ppose that be one way uhf looking at it. Take the fighten to them I always say"! He let the couple go strode forward with shakey legs, fists balled up at his sides. He turned back to them with a dopey buzzed expression, " uh s'cuse me folks, I gotta bleed da'lizard". With but a gesture of his hand he left both of them to their own devices as a waitress was approaching the front of the line, at the same time as another unfortunate fellow.

She was a young sweet girl, by the looks of it barely old enough to work. The unfortunate man who approached the restaurant, a smug fellow with dastardly look in his eye. As she was handling the next customer, he took a big puff of his cigar while nearly at the street at this point. The line had gone way past its front doors within moments and now spanned on the sidewalk leading out the main street. " What do they call these again, hillock"? Hillock was not actually hillock. He was steve, but his employer gave him the name and never listened to him otherwise. At first Steve was an okay person of normal moral compass, but as time passed he became as hardened as his employer, being completely incubated in his employer's world views or rather, lack there of. " It's a line sir, you know this". The unfortunate fellow nodded his head and crossed his arms. " You know the drill right, Hillock"? Steve nodded and tossed his pokeball behind him, unleashing a drowsee. " Use psychic, clear a path drowsee". The drowsee barely had time to scratch his eyes before it slothfully raised its arm toward the crowd, glowing with a subtle azul aura. The line that stood before the unfortunate man and his companion, including warren Jasmine and tyler, were all lifted off the ground and flung to the side haphazardly.

The villainous trio strode by as the victims of his little stunt were rubbing their heads or growling at him for treating them like nothing. The unfortunate one frowned, as he towered over the young waitress who could barely compose herself. " Table for 10 little one". She looked up at him, then she started looking back at her clip board nervously, " Uhh umm we can't accommodate your party right away, but we can slot you in tomorrow"?

Jesse grabbed Leo the moment the psychic energy surrounded them, holding the Pokemon closely as he was flung aside. Hitting the ground with a painful thump, he shielded his smaller friend from getting hurt or flung away from him. The young man slowly got up with a wince, his demeanor taking a darker tone. He looked about to see that anyone else in or near the line had also been thrown aside. Setting Leo down, the trainer and his partner walked up to the man. Tapping the Steve on his shoulder he spoke up, words careful and clipped.

"What do you think you're doing treating people like that?"

The younger male was scowling, leashing his anger with tight fists and a glare. Leo was openly hostile beside his trainer, growling at the large thug. This wasn't going to end well...

Jesse had no idea what he was getting into. But he didn't care enough to back down from this bully. He hated bullies. Always had and always would. It was disgusting how people treated others, picking on people smaller and using pokemon to do their dirty work.

She nodded at Warren's words merely agreeing, he did have some fare points about how Romeo and Juliet inevitably died, perhaps prince and princess would have been better, though Romeo and Juliet perhaps had some more romantic connotation behind it~ "I..I've never been "famous" before...I'm not sure really what to think..I mean, I guess its nice and all...I'm just glad they didn't see us in a negative light.." She'd answer a bit hesitantly, just feeling rather awkward about this whole situation in general. As Jasmine actually rarely talked about things like "Love" and "famous". She actually hadn't talked much to anyone except for Warren since she got on the Island it seemed, and maybe that group of girls who had approached her. She wondered what Warren was referring to with that "card" statement, alas she was sure that she'd find out later. Her red gaze would meet Jotaro, and she couldn't help but smile a bit at the slumbering Panda pokemon.

Jasmine had merely been standing there one moment ,continuing to wait in line and listen to the drunk fellow talk, and now she was off to the side? It seemed that even some items in the line area had been disrupted, people were on the ground or against the wall, it was a rather messy sight. Thankfully it seemed no one had been seriously injured, at least in an obvious way. She wasn't entirely sure what had just happened, until she noticed that a pathway had been made for a certain individual using a certain physic type move with a drowzee. Jasmine supposed it could have been worse as the pokemon could have put some people to sleep if it really wanted too via hypnosis, and then dream eater if it really wanted to screw around, though she wasn't certain if the pokemon knew these moves to begin with. Needless to say, she wasn't feeling amazing as being moved by physic energy could often leave one feeling a bit uneasy. As Jasmine looked over at the tough hardened fellow, she couldn't help but notice the young man who was confronting said larger man.

She couldn't help but admire his bravery to a degree, despite the fact that it was probably a dangerous move, as who knew how far the larger man was willing to go, after using physic on people of all things. If he was willing to move people for his own personal gain, who was to say that he wasn't willing to attack people who confronted him? Jasmine didn't feel like she could with good conscious just stay idle. She'd right herself into a balanced stationary position, and throw out Typhlosion. The fire of the pokemon quite bright, on its back now as it revved up. It was clear that Typhlosion was not happy that his trainer had been merely thrown against the wall, as it figured something was up when all of a sudden they'd gone fast In one direction when they had been stationary, that wasn't normal. It was also a rather observant pokemon it seemed, catching on quickly that the big fellow wasn't friendly, as some sort of just emerged from its move going up a bit, it seemed to growl almost at him. It didn't hurt to have a pokemon on standby if anything went down in a situation like this she figured, and Typhlosion was her most powerful one.

"Warren are you okay?.." She'd look over in his general direction, hoping that he hadn't lost conscious or gotten severely injured.

Smiling one moment, he froze the next, feeling kinda woozy. Before he could look around to see what was going on, he felt himself and Jotaro get tossed around. It seemed he wasn't alone, everyone in line had been tossed to the side to make room for two men. One big one and another man who seemed to be the sidekick, the right hand man.
Jotaro only woke up, he wasn't hurt thankfully, but he was angry about his rude awakening. His dream was just getting cool!
Warren looked jazmine over. He searched for any open cuts or signs of harm.
"Urgh... Yeah I'm fine, I'm worried about you... but you don't look hurt. That's good..."
Warren turned to the big guy. He fixed his hair after it was ruffled around from being tossed and began to walk over.
"Hang on... I'll be right back."
Gritting his teeth, he confronted the two men with the drowzee.
"Hey asshole!"
He widened his stance to look menacing. He was pretty big, so he almost matched the man.
"Using Damaging Pokémon moves outside of battle is illegal! You're sure as hell lucky there aren't any cops around here!"
He got close, close enough to feel his breathing. He looked to the blond man to his side, also chewing out the man. He was glad there was someone else brave enough to stand up to this man that could have gotten someone hurt.
"That's punishable by jail time or a hefty fine! If you're not gonna follow the rules, then good luck finding a restaurant that'll serve you, because I'll kick you out myself!"

The unfortunate omen wrenched him scarred fingers around her collar and slowly lifted her off the ground. The girl flailed about momentarily as a knee jerk reaction, before looking up into his eyes as cold as steel. " when I ask for a table of 10, you prepare room for 20, muskrat". The girl trying avoid the pain from being strung by her neck nodded as best as she could, with tears in her eyes. At the same time a youngster fast approached him and his employee. He turned his head slightly to catch a glimpse of the rowdy youngster when Steve snapped his fingers. " Not to worry boss, tis just the wind". The unfortunate one turned back to the girl and dropped her without warning, letting her fall flat on her back. She grimaced, averting her gaze from his own and quickly scrambled back to her boss. The surrounding patrons in the restaurant were a mixed bag. Some buried their face in their food, others looked on with interest and some with an indifferent expression. So far he was rather unopposed, with the exception of a few dirty looks. That is, until the flash of a second pokeball caught his attention. He turned to see Jasmine's Typhlosion, its quills burning intensely as it let out a low growl.

Steve on the other hand shoved the adolescent back, with eyes similar to his drowsee when it invoked its powers. " Calm yourself child and recognize your place. You're 1000 years too early to be considered a person. Now scram before you get hurt". He said, in a rather whispered tone, trying his best to keep his employer out of it. He could only hope that his hunger was more important than his pride at this moment, as the restaurant staff was hard at work making accommodations for him. However his efforts were mostly in vain as one of the bystanders actually got up and approached his employer, with a bravado to match his own. Damnit, drowsee do something about him now Drowsy on the other hand was far too busy lounging on its side, with several trays of other people's food floating around its head to care about his trainer's request. It blinked twice with a tired expression as it chowed down on some succulent walimer fin.

The unfortunate omen met Warren's gaze, letting him finish with a rather interested expression. He stared at Warren's face for a good two or three seconds before blowing a smoke ring in his face. "huhhhhhhhh da hell you say kid"? Steve growled, quickly springing toward Warren with his arm outstretched toward the young man's neck and stopped it in its tracks. The omen had caught his employee's arm, and held him in place. " Let him finish, hillock. Even vermin deserve to say their prayers".

While this was all going on, what began as a commotion in the streets became a spectacle that even people from outside of the restaurant couldn't help but take notice. They'd yell out to either side. Get em viper, show that kid who's boss
GO ROMEO TEACH'EM A LESSON FOR TOUCHING YEER GIRL
FIGHT FIGHT
FIGHT FIGHT

Those who recognized the danger left post haste, not even the restaurant staff lingered. All that remained were the belligerent trainers who were egging on the fight and the brave youngsters who stood against the villain at the entrance, with flashes of light from cameras blazing from the crowd.

Jesse Marino

Without a word to the man standing beside him, Jesse reached for his belt, pressing a button on one of the pokeballs hanging there. With a flash of light, Blake stood at his full height letting out a roar. The Charizard stood behind it's trainer with a huff, protective of the young man who'd turned icy in demeanor. Jesse's eyes had narrowed and the childlike air he'd had was replaced with a controlled fury.

"Vermin? If anyone's a pest it's you and your arrogance. If you wanna settle this, settle it like a man instead of a child. I may be younger but clearly im the wiser. You are in a public area, have multiple witnesses to the what you did to that poor lady and still run your mouth like a fool. I suggest you shut your mouth before I shut if for you pal."

His words were low, but clear in the threat. He would finish this if he needed to. The large fire-type behind him was proof of that.

"Now...Are you gonna be smart and get lost, or do you still wanna be shown up by some vermin kid?"

Jesse gave the man a challenging look, standing tall. He may have been a kid to some, but he knew how to push back.

Jasmine merely looked at the action going on before her. She noticed the distinct figures in this predicament. Jesse who was before the thug of sorts, who seemed like he'd probably lose in a physical altercation was still going at it. Maybe he had some powerful pokemon and that's why he wasn't concerned in the slightest? Or maybe he was just brave, or perhaps Jasmine was under estimating what he could do, perhaps a mix of those. She couldn't help but feel a bit concerned about him though never the less.

The fact the guy was willing to choke a young girl, really rustled Jasmine's jimmies though, she hated it when people picked on physically weaker individuals in such a way. Though she didn't feel terribly confident that she'd be able to do anything without getting hurt herself at this moment, thus her inactivity. She knew that if she used Typhlosion it would be a bit of an overkill but still if things got really bad, she wasn't beyond using it. It would be highly unlikely for her to use Typhlosion to attack him directly as anyone knew that would be incredibly dangerous and a last resort honestly. She also took in the details of the people who were in the room around her. She knew that she couldn't use a fire type move inside the building anyway, as that would be far too dangerous to do, as the whole building could go up and that was the last thing that she wanted to happen.

She couldn't help but notice the other trainers which were still there edging on the situation which wasn't the most helpful. She also took note of the Drowzee which seemed more intent on eating then actually doing what its trainer wanted, usually a sign of lack of respect or improper training. She wondered why the owner of said drowzee was helping this bully out of all people. Perhaps he just didn't care? He was referring to the guy as boss, so he must be working for the guy.. Or maybe the strong man also had some powerful Pokémon to back him up and the man didn't want any trouble. Regardless this whole situation was dangerous at worst, annoying at best.

Jasmine more or less stood her ground with Typhlosion by her side as it looked around still looking fairly menacing, if anything dangerous got close to Jasmine the Typhlosion would most likely lash out or at least Intimidate even if it wasn't ordered to do so, just due to its protective nature.

Jasmine now was quite worried about Warren though as she saw the guy reaching for him. She really didn't want him getting hurt and if one were to keenly observe it was clear that she was quite worried now. As she intently looked at the developing situation she couldn't stay quiet voicing her concern,

"Warren it isn't worth it!, just stand down, you don't know what this guy can do.." She'd exclaim to him in an obviously worried tone. "You don't have anything to prove!" She'd say again. She was kind of wishing that they had left a while ago as she could sense that things might get ugly and she really didn't want anyone here or herself to have to be part of them.. Though at the same time she did admire his bravery and vocalization of the wrong doing. It seemed that Warren had a good moral compass and his heart was in the right place, from her point of view.

Warren didn't even flinch when the Man approached his throat. Instead he mimicked the man to his side and let loose Ken the blaziken. He stood with his arms folded, and head tilted to the side in question.
Warren gestured to the man, and Ken nodded.
Warren hoped that the two large, tough looking fire Pokémon would put the man in his place, and-
"Huh?"
Warren turned behind him, Jasmine stood, begging him to not start a fight.
"I can't just let someone toss my friend into a wall and get away with it!"
Warren turned back around and shot a glare to the man.
He approached the other "kid" and spoke quietly.
"It looks like we might have to team up... thanks for helping put this shithead in his place."
"Now you've got two of us to deal with. Make your call!"

Viper let his employee go and reached into his coat pocket, letting out an exasperated sigh. Steve glared back at the trio before returning his gluttonous drowsee back into its ball in a flash of red light. " I tried to warn you kids. Hopefully someone else comes to save you". He sped off to a nearby window and ducked out at the first chance as his employer pulled out a gaudy golden lighter to lite a new cigar. " Use words you actually know, kid. A wise man would not speak without knowing the facts. Who do you think is in charge of making sure the herd stays in line"?

As he clicked his lighter shut and took a deep breath, the ceiling crashed behind him, sending out debris in every direction. Underneath the veil of dust, the sound of splintering floorboards, dishes, and other restaurant things being scattered about could be heard. From the outside a loud crash and the sounds of panicked screams could be heard for several city blocks. The monster behind viper flapped its wings once, sending an ominous gust of wind throughout the small wrecked building. There a snappily dressed dragonite loomed over viper, its glowing eyes affixed upon warren and Jesse. It was accompanied by a garchomp with a ghastly collar around its neck. It was emerging from the fissure underneath the establishment, baring its knife like teeth dripping with saliva. From the outside a salamance growled as it peered within, its gaze fixed on the two youngsters. People were scattered about, trying their best to run from the monsterous dragon as it swayed to and fro, trying to hold itself back. The cries of bystanders could be heard even after the initial crash, people who didn't escape were being tossed around like ragdolls by the impatient salamance.

"Certainly not the police". He lifted his hand up, with his middle finger pressed against his thumb. His pokemon fixated on his gesture, their impatience showing through their growling and fidgeting swaying. " If you want, I'll let cher girlfriend go, since she has a good head on 'er shoulders". Meanwhile on the outskirts of the fight, there was curious young girl with a camera in one hand and a notepad in the other. She was wrenching a piece of her torn jacket around her bleeding bicep with a fanatic smile on her face. " Yes c'mon my star couple. Mama needs a new headline. Perhaps a battle to the death? love triangle? Four way LOVE TRIANGLE"?

Jesse shielded himself with his arms as debris scattered. Taking a deep breath and lowering his guard, he grabbed the umbreon's pokeball.
"Leo, let Blake and I handle this."
Returning the pokemon with a red flash, he looked ahead at the pokemon infront of them. Speaking in a quiet tone to the older man next to him, he didn't turn away from their opponent.
"Name's Jesse. Me and Blake here can handle the dragonite if you can isolate one of the other two. Your girlfriend can handle whichever her typhlosion can keep up with. I'd say the Garchomp. Not for typing advantage but because it will be less likely to take into the air, and more to the ground. Try and keep the battle from causing too much damage or hurting any bystanders who wander in or pass by. Ill try to get the battle to stay aerial on my part.. Unless you have another idea."

Jesse looked over the dragonite, thinking. Dragon type moves would be effective. Blake had at least one dragon type move learned and their sizes matched up decently. He had faith in his pokemon.

Jasmine was a bit surprised by the sudden disruption, though she was too focused on what to do, to really show that she was rather shaken. Shortly afterwards she'd regain focus and listen intently to what Jesse had to say, as he seemed to know what he was doing when it came to a pokemon battle. Of course this guy had to have strong pokemon, though she knew that Garchomp, Salamence, and dragonite all could be quite dangerous in general pokemon in battle if they had been trained properly which Jasmine could only assume they had been. She'd look around not entirely sure, if Jesse was entirely correct. She did know that Garchomp was a ground type and a dragon type meaning that fire wouldn't be the best choice against such a beast. Perhaps she should change to a weaker pokemon which had ice moves to counter it, despite them being easily knock-out able so to speak. She'd have to think strat before the brawl began, if they were intending on brawling. If everyone was able to work together they should be able to take down said powerful pokemon..Arecus knew that she had no intention of bailing, not after the way this man had been treating people. She was also quite certain his pokemon couldn't be happy being brought up by someone who must have merely saw them as tools. Then again she could only make speculations on the issue, not knowing him personally, for all she knew he cared about his pokemon greatly, despite the chances of said statement being true being incredibly low.

On one hand she could attack with Marill which wouldn't be the worst option due to tis ice move, and water typing which wouldn't take super effective damage from the ground dragon type. Then again she wasn't sure. In another case she could also send out Abra who could use dazzling gleam on the dragon which would be super effective, but Abra wasn't the strongest pokemon in her arsenal. Upon further thought Jasmine thought that she should probably remedy that by training Abra some more and hopefully eventually evolving it. Not entirely sure how she should make he first move, she figured that she should wait and see if things escalated any further, she'd now merely look at Warren and everyone else too see what they would do..just merely standing her ground, though Typhlosion was currently on standby waiting for her commands, though they hadn't exactly formally engaged a pokemon battle yet formally, not until the first punch was thrown so to speak, at least in Jasmine's eyes still hoping there could be a peaceful resolution to this whole ordeal.

Rue Chevalier
: Beside Ye Olde Tuko Stadium | : @ Darkness, my old friend
There, rising just above a bright blue cradle of waves, was Tuko Island; the modest heart to the splattering of rock and jungle collectively known as the Red Islands. Anyone who was anyone in the world of Poke-Battles aspired to end up in that famous stadium, be it in the stands or in the ring. Anyone except Rue.

She had been on the fence with it all for months, struggling to decide whether to stay at home or accept the invitation. Truth was, out of all the places in the world the Red Isles were the least desirable..no matter how hyped up the fancy brochures and television stations made it out to be. As a last line of defense Rue brought up the topic to her parents, thinking they would be opposed to the idea. To her surprise she found they weren't just happy with the idea but heavily urged her to go there. "Closure" they had said, "being there again will help.". Hell, even Grom was willing to go.

Despite all this, Rue remained unchanged. She would not compete and she would not go. A month later, as she sat one late night staring at the unanswered email of invitation, she figured that perhaps she could go as a spectator. Two months before the competition she wimped out from that decision.

Yet here she was, looking at Tuko Island. Between all the trains and ferries Rue had imagined what she would feel when the harbour finally came into sight. Would it be nervousness? Nostalgia? Melancholy? Little did she know that by the time she stood clutching the hand-rails of the ship with the lush tropical wind brushing the hair away from her eyes that she wouldn’t be feeling a thing. All she could think of was how different everything seemed compared to what she remembered. It was as if someone had swapped the island with an imposter while she had been gone, a pale shadow to what years of recalled memories had created. For some reason that revelation caused an uncomfortable sinking feeling in her stomach. Four years made a difference.

Rue was on one of the “later” ferries but even still the ship was stuffed to its metaphorical gills with aspiring trainers, snotty kids and veterans busy wallowing in the ‘good-old-days’ or otherwise complaining about the current state of the championships. She was surprised it was still able to float with this many bodies. Foreign, loud, sweaty bodies. It was not by choice that Rue had ended up in the claustrophobic nightmare but distance and lack of directions had won over.

A kid beside her also discovered the distant island and pointed it out with a stubby finger, rallying the attention of those who had also been on watch. There were gasps and excited chattering all around. Great.

To drown them out she pressed a button on the underside of her headphones, replacing the oohing and ahhing from those around her with something more desirable. She then initiated a hasty retreat, edging her way around the growing crowd and weaving through the current of people trying to get their first glimpse of the isle. There were some benefits to having a small stature and she soon found herself at the less crowded rear of the ship. It was going to be a stampede when it came time to unload, so naturally Rue decided to avoid that. She located her belongings, which was more or less a hiking bag filled with whatever she had packed at 2am the morning of her departure, before heading back out onto the deck. Once there she retrieved a pokeball from her pocket and clicked the button, releasing a bright blue flash and the silhouette of a noivern.

"Ready to go, Noc?" she asked while ruffling the thick fur of his mane. The pokemon's only response was a slow lowering of his golden eyes but it was enough for Rue to know what he meant. "Yeah, me too buddy... me too."He crouched down to allow for Rue to climb onto his back before stretching out his wings and launching them into the sky. It wasn't long before the two soared past the harbour and began circling the main boulevard for some suitable place to land. One of the streets, which she remembered as holding mostly restaurants, was particularly packed. She made an effort to land somewhere away from there. The town's lesser stadium looked to have been drained of people for the day, so she chose to land nearby.

[(OwO) donezo! Let the adventure begin!]

"Bewear...are you sure that you can lead me back to your trainer?"
It had been a few minutes, Jaz followed the footsteps of the gigantic bear with the little Delibird still snuggling in his arms already getting a little sleepy from the comfort and shelter of Jaz's arms.

The Bewear, of course didn't answer, it kept walking, it even fastened its pace a little as Jaz questioned.

"I hope you know your way......"

"But it sure doesn't look that way for me."
"You had been going around this tree in circle......"

Right after Jaz had spoken, the Bewear finally decided to stop his footsteps, not able to halt his pace quick enough, Jaz bumped into the fluffy fur of the bear and almost lost his balance from the recoil. The Bewear then turned to around, facing the now groggy Jaz while staring at him like a statue.

The world around him were spinning, perhaps from the continuous circular motion that Jaz had to put himself through for a solid few minutes. Jaz eyes twitched in annoyance as he tried to regained his balance from the collision, blinking his eyes violently as his vision slowly buffered.

"W-what's the matter?" At this point asking was just an option to not awkwardly stare into the Bewear's eyes.
The Bewear scratched its head with its huge paw, and then suddenly its eye lit up as something seemed to caught its attention, staring at a distance in daze.

Jaz instinctively turned to the general direction that that Bewear's staring at, and was surprised to see that the sneaky Deli found its way away from his hands without him noticing, and was already hopping its way to an ice cream cart with its tiny wings fluttering around. The very next minute, as soon as the Delibird scanned through the ice creams that were available for sale it instantly drew out a stack of cash from its bag and slapped it onto the vendor's cart, the tanned man was generally just confused and even a little shocked when it witness the amount of case that was stacking up right in front of him.

For+zocard+the+delibird+comp+source+varioussubscribe+for+more_9ed482_5294557.png

Shut up and take my money. I got plenty......

"Deli!"
Jaz couldn't stand a second of watching Deli destroy the balance of economy with its ridiculous money shower, it dashed straight to the ice cream cart and grabbed the Deli bird by its head, slowly pulling it away from the ice cream cart.

With a facade of smile put on to cover the embarrassment that Deli had brought to him, he looked to the vendor and apologized, but as Deli had already begin to stuff the ice cream cone inside its little pouch, there was nothing Jaz could do besides leaving the stack of cash there. Jaz could only sigh internally for the fact that Deli would not even bother to change its ridiculous habit for quite awhile, he could only rely on keeping a close watch on the little thing.

"Young man...beware, trouble is brewing around that Johto styled restaurant...if I were you I would stay away from there......"
The tanned ice cream vendor narrowed his eyes before he whispered to Jaz in a deep tone.

Trouble is brewing?
Jaz was a little confused on what the ice cream vendor meant, but he take note of what the man had to say anyway. His curiosity was certainty aroused. But as they always say, curiosity kills the cat, and too bad Jaz often feels like he would rather be a dead cat than a oblivious cat that would eventually die anyway, died from the thirst of curiosity that was left unquenched.

"Beware...and... Bewear?"
The vendor spoke before he inched his way away from Jaz with his ice cream cart.

Jaz felt the sudden pressure of a presence behind him, he turned his head and checked the vicinity with his peripheral vision, the Bewear was now standing right behind Jaz, drooling as its rub its paws together .

"You must be a little hungry right? No...very hungry I supposed......"

"Deli. Do you mind sharing some of that ice cream cone with Bewear?"
Jaz turned and started to poke the little Delibird, trying to get its attention, but Deli turned its back on the Bewear and raised its little beak while it grabs an ice cream cone from its pouch and started licking it. Of course it wouldn't want to, it seemed to already have a grudge on that Bewear just because of that little accident that happened earlier.

Jaz knelt down beside Deli and tried to talk his way through, but before Jaz could speak, the giant paw slithered its way into the pouch of Deli and drew out a hand full of a perfect amalgamation of food.
The Bewear's eyes instantly sparkled in wonderment and ecstasy as it was mesmerized by the magical pouch that Deli possessed, admiring the pile of pure joy that was now right in it's hand, it shoved the food right down it's giant mouth without a split second of hesitation.

After the rapid chewing and the almost instantaneous swallowing, the Bewear stood still, before its face slightly contorted. After a few second, the bear started to shook it's head, and at the very next second, the Bears started to prance and swing around like a Spinda, with starts and spiral in its eyes.

"No...Did it accidentally swallowed some weird berries? This is really bad......" Jaz bit his lips as his body tensed up, an ominous feeling rushed down his spine with the realization.

The now seemingly inebriated bear stumbled around like a Marionette. Its eyes then locked onto the little Deli bird that was left petrified.
The Bewear approached the Delibird slowly, as it gets close enough, it lifted the Delibird up like it's a rag doll, leaving the Delibird hanging upside down while it started to shook and jerk it's huge arms.

"Deli!!! Deli!!! Deeeeeeli!!!" The Delibird yelled in anger, but as soon as the shaking began, the screaming and screeching turned into a call for help.

"Wait, what are you doing! Please stop!" Jaz sprung up and tried to stop the Bewear, but he wasn't sure what he could do to stop the Bewear as panic overloaded his mind, directly interfering or approach the beast will not not a wise choice either.
There was apparently no one near the vicinity, it seemed like asking for help was not an option either...it's no like someone would just descend from the sky and come to his aid.

Rue Chevalier
: Beside Ye Olde Tuko Stadium | : Dreamtique Dreamtique
The two landed in time to hear an ungodly sound to which Rue could only compare to that of a Meowth being caught in a tractor combine. Not even her poke-esque headphones could drown out that racket. Quite impressive, really. As Rue jumped down from her partner's back she followed his line of sight to find a Bewear, Delibird and a trainer helplessly trying to stop the bear pokemon from shaking the smaller creature to death.

Rue looked from left to right in search of anyone who was willing to help in her stead, but unfortunately for the bewear's victim most people were too preoccupied in their own comings and goings to care much for the distressed Delibird. Not to mention the fact that just one unintentional flail of a bewear's arm was enough to send a grown man flying... or worse. In that regard it was quite understandable that those who decided to turn a blind eye gave the three a wide berth. Even the ice-cream man seemed to be at a loss of what to do.

An idea then struck her. Shrugging off her cumbrous bag of belonging, Rue dug her hand into one of the side pockets to produce a Lumiose Galette, lovingly packaged in a paper wrapping. Her mother had baked it for her as a travelling snack but Rue had forgotten to eat it in all the hustle. She felt a bit guilty but at least now someone would make use of her mother's hard work.

She approached the Bewear with the pastry in hand, Nocturne at her side and giving the pink fluff-ball a leery look.

"Hey, buddy. How about I give you a treat if you leave the Delibird alone?" Rue asked the bear while presenting the delicacy. If she had learned anything during her work with the rescue center at home, it was that food made all the difference in the world when dealing with pokemon.

A gust of wind and dust brushed over Jaz before his attention was drew away by the majestic Noivern that glided down from the sky smoothly. Jaz squinted his eyes under the glaring sunlight as his vision extended to meet the silhouette of a girl that leapt down from the winged-dragon. The girl made her way out of the glaring sunlight, revealing her short black hair that drifted in the gentle breeze, as well as the rather eye-catching headphones she had put on. At first the girl scanned the vicinity with an indifferent look on her face, and then the trainer started to dug her hand in her bag and drew out a pie, with no relay in between, the trainer then approached the Bewear with the pie in her hand fearlessly with her face remained cold and composed.

Jaz squealed internally as the girl approached the bear with a food in her hand, it's basically a ticket to her doom, but upon closer inspection, Jaz noticed the girl was actually holding a Luminous Galette, a foreign delicacy that he had head of, which is also a cure for a wide range of status condition. Jaz was instantly impressed by how quickly the girl was able to read the situation and devise a plan of her own, it was almost as if the girl descended form the sky just to rescue him from his stupidity.

But as much as Jaz was fascinated by how quick-witted the girl is, the sudden realization on the risk that comes with approaching the Bewear in such a manner still bothers Jaz, perhaps that's why the trainer chose to stay close to his partner. Jaz could only held his breath at this point and hope that the bear will take the lure without accidentally hurting the girl.

Of course things will not go as planned, at first the Bewear was distracted by the trainer calling out to her, the violent shaking stopped, but the bear didn't let go, at that point the unfortunate Delibird in his arm was already half-dead, as soon as its huge beady eyes met with the pastry in the trainer's hand, it instantaneously lost control like an unleashed beast.
The glutton tried to reached out for the pie in the girl's arm, it parched it's way towards the girl at first, slowly gaining momentum before it swung it's arm right at the girl, almost as if it was throwing a drunken punch straight at the brave trainer in its attempt to grab the pie from the girl in the most exaggerated way possible.

Rue Chevalier
: Ice Cream Stand: Main Boulevard | : Dreamtique Dreamtique
Nocturne had been watching the Bewear carefully all throughout the brief interaction, never letting his gaze waver once. He had never seen the likes of this creature before and was already on his guard, but his instincts told him that something about the other pokemon was off. Its scent was not right. There, hiding beneath the thick presence of prey (known as a Delibird by humans) and ice-cream melting on sun-baked asphalt, was the sharp hint of berries. It had a sickeningly sweet tang that brought the image of various 'sick berries' into the Noivern's mind.

When it turned around to gaze at Rue and began to stumble in her direction Noturne sensed the danger and immediately launched himself into action. He could hear Rue's heart begin to hurry in her chest just as he bit his jaws onto the hood of her jacket, a sign that she too must have caught a glimpse of the creature's disturbed gaze, albeit moments too late. In one swift movement he flapped his wings to violently push both he and his trainer back by a few feet and out of harm's way.

Rue could only let out a surprised gasp as she was suddenly jolted back by her Noivern in a spray of dusty wind. During this sudden shift in velocity she lost her grip on the gallete, fating it to splatter onto the ground lest it be caught by the heavily impaired Bewear. That was close, she thought, taken aback by just how quickly it had moved.

They skidded to a stop, Nocturne's claws raking shallow groves into the asphalt where his paws had passed. Rue dangled loosely from his mouth like a kitten, now recovered from the surprise. He turned to lower her onto the ground, surprisingly gentle, before changing his demeanor completely upon facing the Bewear once more. In less than a heartbeat the warmth of his eyes ignited into a wild flame and the fur on his back stood on end. Both wings were know held to the sky, the bright blue membranes blocking out the sun in a clear display of wrath. The insides of his ears began to pulsate with energy and his muzzle contorted into a fanged snarl, yet the beast was as silent as the grave. For now.

"Wait, Noc!" Rue quickly said, "It's not itself. See if it eats the galette first."

They could not forget about the avian pokemon either, who may get indirectly hurt if the Bewear was still clinging to it.

Nocturn momentarily flicked its eyes to Rue before lowering his wings back down to the ground. The light building in his ears dulled somewhat to a pale glow but he still looked just as tense. Noc knew perfectly well what would happen if the creature didn't take the bait and prepared himself for a battle if need be. Even Rue, out of habit, had stepped to the side and went through the usual combat maneuvers in her head. Her cool composure returned, both girl and pokemon looking to be fully in sync.

As the duo evaded the incoming attack from the furious bear, the rampaging Bewear's paws were launched right through the air, sending its heavy body rolling forward for a few meters from the inertia, causing the poor, confused bear some great damage of its own.

Jaz grinned it's teeth as he watched from a distance, his eyes couldn't moved away from the tormented Delibird that was still clenched tightly by the Bewear in its strong arm.
The good news was that girl evaded one attack from the bear, and the bad news was there may be more coming right up.

The Bewear stood up from the fall and turned back to stare blankly at the galette that was now squashed flat onto the ground. The bear gave a nonchalant look and instantly lost interest on the pie, even in its confused state, the bear still has standards high enough to deter itself from shoving down dirt in its mouth, a proof that the Bewear truly came from a trainer that shaped its dignity.

Jaz face went pale the moment the Bewear turned away from the pie that was his only hope to stop the rampaging bear without hurting it.
He wasn't sure if sparring with the Bewear, just like dancing alongside a wild Taurus with a waving red clothe in hands will yield any end other than a nasty one, it seemed like they were left with no choice, someone would have to tranquilize and weakened the bear with force before he caused too much regrettable harm to others as well as himself as soon as possible.

"Go ahead! I believe in my Delibird's endurance and the Bewear's toughness, give it the best shot you got and shut this down!"
Jaz cupped his hands around his mouth before he tossed his words at the trainer with her Noivern, signaling them to land a strong attack on the Bewear to end this in one shot, his brows locked together tightly as he tried to contained the stinging sensation in his chest from watching the Delibird slowly tormented by the strangling. He wanted to believe that the Bewear's trainer will not want the same for his Bewear too when they witness their Bewear in its current state, and he thinks they will definitely understand where he is coming from.

As soon as Jaz finished his words, the Bewear's eyes locked onto the girl, and then accelerated its massive body directly towards the trainer and its partner once again.

Everything happend too quickly for Warren to process... This guy really wasn't messing around... he didn't have time to waste, he needed to help the others out this guy in his place.
Out of his whole ensemble of Pokémon, the one that made the most sense was Ken, the blaziken. Using all fire Pokémon would be a bit dangerous, but Jasmine mentioned her Pokémon knew sunny day. Everyone could benefit. It was risky, but it may have had a high payoff.
"Alright! Ken, you're up!"
With a red flash, Ken appeared standing with his arms crossed as usual.
"Yo jasmine!"
Warren approached her and whispered so the others didn't overhear thier strategy.
"If you throw out Typlosion, you can use sunny day, and all of us can get the boost! It's just a thought but it may push us over the edge!"
Standing tall, Warren stood to the side of his Pokémon, putting his arm over his shoulder.
"I'm gonna need you to help me out here, that cool? These dicks are trying to prove a point. I'm not sure what I want you to do for the moment, but just hold off until the others attack, then get the one nobody went for, sound good?"
Ken took a second to process then nodded. He stepped forward and helt his hands out in a fighting stance.
"Alright! Lets rock, baby!"

Rue Chevalier
: Ice Cream Stand: Main Boulevard | : Dreamtique Dreamtique
Upon hearing the other trainer's words, Rue closed her eyes with a sigh. This was not how she had wanted to start out her trip. She had planned to watch a few pokemon battles and enjoy some quiet solitude the island's wild had to offer. This was neither peaceful nor quiet. So much for keeping a low profile.

She reopened her eyes just as the Bewear began its drunken charge. There was no choice in the matter. Rue had to fight the creature. "Alright, Noc. Unrelenting Force." she said.

With her words, Nocturne took to the skies in a sudden gust of wind that snatched stray brochures from the ground and sent dust fluttering beneath him. At the peak of his jump, he unfurled his wings to position himself above the Bewear. The blue light ignited once more within his ears, growing bright and crackling with wild energy. The very air around the Noivern became alive with it, vibrating with a growing hum like a storm before the lightning strike. It continued to grow in frequency before it abruptly hushed into a quiet. An eerie light appeared in the spaces between his fangs.

For a short time everything was ghost-quiet.

"Hey, Cover your ears!" Rue called out to the other trainer, suddenly remembering him.

Noc opened his mouth to release an eruption of sonic-waves, the rings burning a bright blue for all to see. It was a combination of Dragon Pulse and Boomburst that shook the air like a roar of thunder. The sheer force of the shockwave would be enough to send the Bewear crashing down onto the ground mid-stride and render him immobile until the move had finished its course. Rue squinted her eyes against the blast of displaced air, her coat flailing wildly behind her. The sound didn't bother her at all thanks to her headphones, but she wasn't sure if the other trainer had prepared himself for the boom.

After using his attack, Noc swooped back to Rue and hovered between her and the Bewear in case it somehow managed to weather the attack.

Jaz's eyes were instantly captured by the Noivern as it propelled itself into the azure sky, the boy took a few steps back as he put his head up to take in the spectacular movement of Noivern as it stroked a majestic post in mid-air, dominating the whole view of the sky with a graceful unraveling of its wing.
Within the matter of a second, a mystical blue light started to glow within its huge ears, a surge of energy that was eagerly waiting to escape the Noivern started to charge up around it as the distortion of air around it could be seen as clearly as the ripples on water. The boy could already felt the tingles running through its skin and bones as he spectated the collage of energy from afar that was awaiting to explode.

"Hey, Cover your ears!"

The trainer's voice that was amplified in the den of silence reached his ears and drew Jaz out of the wonderment he was completely absorbed in. A few seconds was took to process what he head before the boy could reacted by pressing his palms on his ears and slightly bent his knees, but his eyes were still captivated by the Noivern in the air.

Waves of glowing blue rings were soon polarized towards the target from the sky as the pulsating air the permeated the field washed over Jaz, the boy felt like the whole world around him were quaking in response to the enormous power that were unleashed from the winged-dragon.
Jaz watches as the pressure adn impact of the attack caused the Bewear to instantly crashed down to the ground, forming a deep dent right beneath it with puffs of smoke and dust escaped from the beam of energy like crackling fireworks.

"Marvelous..." The exclamation escaped Jaz's mouth involuntarily as his eyes opened wide. As soon as everything ended with the final blow from the Noivern, Jaz were utterly left to be awe-struck. It was a spectacular sight to behold, a sense of admiration was soon set aflame deep within the young boy. The girl had truly showed him what a trainer could do with their partner.

Just as Jaz came back to his senses, he swiftly rushed over to the Bewear's side and checked on it as well as the Delibird in its paw.
"Deli!"
The boy rushed over and found the Delibird and Bewear that were both rendered unconscious.
"You need to rest now, Deli." The boy muttered as he tapped the Delibird with his Pokeball. The Delibird soon disappeared into the Pokeball in a flash of light, with a sigh escaping under his breath, Jaz stared at the Pokeball for long before he put it in his bag.

"As for you...big guy......"

Wait......

"-crap." That was all Jaz could spurt from his mouth. Jaz paused as words were suddenly stuck in his throat, he grabbed his hair as he stared at the gigantic Bewear, he knelt beside the fainted Pokemon, observing it for long before his face were slowly distorted as he realized...there was no way for him to take it around with him to its trainer, or deliver it to the Pokemon center, now that it had fainted.

Cold sweats started to form around his forehead as he tried to think of a solution.
Perhaps if I try to carry it around....
Jaz tried to gave the Bewear's body a slight push, and he soon gave up that though when the Bewear's body stayed completely unfazed by Jaz's pushing, there's no way that he'll be able to move it alone, not even if his partner join in the lifting. The best assistant he could have now is Will, the Ninetail...but no, he don't want the Ninetail to have its back crushed by the weight of this giant, not to mention there exist quite a distance between their current location and the nearest Pokemon center.

He needed some assistance......

Jaz was suddenly reminded of the presence of the trainer that had just helped him and Deli from the whole ordeal, he turned to the trainer as soon as his peripheral vision caught the trainer standing not far away, with the Noivern still hovering around her.

"Miss. Thank you...I want to sincerely thank you for lending your help." Jaz jogged to the girl, and as he was closed enough. He took a few seconds to scanned the girl before he expressed his appreciation for her kindness.

"I am Jasper Frost, you can call me Jaz. I do need to apologize for causing so much trouble for you. I failed to guide and command Pokemon even as a trainer. It was very kind of you to help me and demonstrate to me the proper way to do so, I'll have to present you with my sincere appreciation once again." Jaz gave the young lady a light bow before he resumed his stance.

"And...there's something...i-if you don't mind..."Jaz paused midway through his sentence.
If anyone is going to help him to move the Bewear, it's going to be her again. Jaz cringed at the though of having to ask for her help once again right after he thanked her, but he didn't really have a choice with the given situation.

"Do you have any ideas about how we can take this Bewear to the nearest Pokemon center?"
"You see, I am not its trainer, I think the poor guy is actually lost and separated from its trainer."
"I was thinking...if you don't mind, I'll need some help to deliver this big guy to the Pokemon center......"

The sun set in the east, painting the sky above in a vibrant crimson hue. The winds above raged as the choppers soared just above the city, whipping of a storm where-ever they went. They moved fluidly, almost uncharacteristically well for what they were, bearing the symbolic spiral flames of the administration. Equipped with state of the art unmanned cameras, they zoomed overhead of the incident just waiting to unfold. Within the crumbling small time restaurant of Sukiyabashi Jiro, were towering dragon pokemon with an almost feral vibe. The chopper's cameras made certain to capture the grisly collar around the drooling garchomp's neck.Digging into its skin, with the occasional green and red light alternating every few seconds. Outside at the entrance there was a salamance with an unusual bulge at the nape of its neck as it fidgeted and growled, tail whipping nearby businesses on accident, accompanied by the terrified screams of people caught in the crossfire. It dug into the ground, letting out a roar that could be heard even over the chopper's thunderous rotar blades. Inside the largest chopper, a woman whipped the door open with a reckless abandon, only tapping her blootooth headset on as she hung outside of the door only by the grip of one arm.

Meet Lana De'ville, journalist and daredevil extraordinaire.Whether you call it respect or sheer fan following, she's known throughout the pokemon world for getting the story when nobody else will. Whether we're talking about the mass migration of tentracruel who destroyed a merchant fleet, by boat for that matter. Or when she actually entered the cerulean city megashopping center when it was being held hostage by vestiges of the now shattered Team Rocket. She's known for diving headlong into danger with a smile and perky upbeat attitude. Her fans squeel at her highpitched voice and her own squeel when giving reports even on mundane topics such as risque photos in the tabloids of pokemon celebrities at the beach. For now, she's been assigned to the public relations department of the administration taking care of the league. Her job today, cover what might be a rare glimpse to see an elite four go all out. " Miss De'ville, would you please get in here, now!", roared the voice of one of the pilots. She smuggly grinned and gestured to her accomplice to slam the pilot's door shut, allowing her to work without compromise.

Hanging over the edge of the swerving chopper, hair being blown into into a storm as she looked toward the camera with a grin. " Helllllo my fellow dare devils and devilletes, it's me, your devil in chief Lana deville coming to you from ground zero. According to reports, Viper of the Kanto region is about to engage in combat with the lovely Romeo and Juliet"! The camera turning to the backs of two trainers at the entrance of the destroyed restaurant. " Ohhh and it looks like we got another one, perhaps a contender for Juliet's hand? As you can see, it's chaos down there, with innocent civilians getting caught in the crossfire! CAN THEY DO IT? WILL OUR ROMEO AND HIS RIVAL STOP KANTO'S ATTACK DOG? WILL NO ONE ELSE RISE TO THE OCCASSION"?

Meanwhile cliff, still stuck on the can watched with a sense of dismay. His toilet paper roll was empty and now there apparently was a monster just outside the door. He grimaced, holding his right arm just at eye as he watched Lana De'ville's livestream of the event overhead. " Huh, they're pr'etey good if I do'say so meself. Dang you can practically see the individ'al scales on dragonite's skin ey, Seireira"? No answer, he tapped his video watch as stomach rumbled again, making him twist again in pain. The sound of toilet water splashing in the background. " eyyy---ohh ahh, what the heck is that"? There on the screen in the corner of the screen was his self improving ai, now fleshed out with a cartoon form with a white background. " What is it cliff? You know I dont appreciate being summoned while yer doing yer bidness". He chuckled before a loud flatulent burst echo'd throughout the restroom. " Now now what be this? did you copy some anime or something"? She didn't respond, just simply staring back at him with a disappointed expression. " Get cleaned up and go already, baka. You know those kids need help". He shrugged, reaching for his scant toilet paper left on the roll. It was practically one sheet, no rather shreds of a sheet. " Man ferst ya don't even ask me what I like. then you boss me 'round girl"? He said in a rather defeated tone, looking down at the messages coming in from his pals.

Finishing up his business, he walked out of the stall, noticing a few scared fellas huddled up as close to the ground as they could be. Cliff shook his head and pushed the door just enough to peek out at the situation. Greeted by the back of dragonite, garchomp and the fiesty defiant youngsters in way over their heads. He laughed as the cocky new kid was trying to be cool, but fell flat as his partner warren was wrapped up in his presumed girl's dillema. " wha'cha gon do now, viper"?

oWfgv6H.jpg
Viper zero'd in on dysfunctional kids, glancing over at the girl he gave a chance to escape, only to find she still had no direct answer. He scoffed at the timid look in her eyes. It was fear, not pragmatism which moved her. She clearly was not thinking straight, but was rather unable to stand up for herself. His eyes trailed off to the boys, equally messed up. All the while in the background, was a translucent figure dancing in the background. Fluttering along amidst them. The runt with the big mouth was outrightly ignored by the simpleton who approached him, without knowing his place. He sighed, letting out a ring of smoke, snapping his fingers. Salamence instinctively slammed his right forearm into the ground, sending an earth shattering slam booming throughout the district as it lunged forward, pivoting its body to send its tail at its targets. With reckless abandon and a blood curtling roar, its tail slammed into the restaurant with the intent of sweeping everyone in it. Viper leaned forward jumped away along with dragonite sychonously, as garchomp got thrown back into the bathroom wall, just barely missing cliff.

Garchomp roared, rising from the debris as pipes shot water at him. It leaned forward, growling mostly at salamance. It slammed its forearms into the ground, shattering the foundation of the and sending debris everywhere. Cliff grabbed the fella who was in there with him, who was peeing his pants in the process. Cliff wrenched his arm under the dude's bicep and forcefully dragged him out of the broken back wall. Amidst the streets were screaming people, glass strewn about and shopps around them already looking like a tornado just blew into town.

Garchomp's collar zapped it, causing it to roar a blood curtling cry, as it bashed its head into the ground. Its blood shot eyes trained on warren, a dark corrupted aura started to seep out of garchomp. It was almost like a miasma, contrasted by its blank luminescent eyes. The aura started to manifest itself as an extension of the beast, digging into the ground and casting a shadow over the group. Viper gave it a non verbal nod, sending the beast into a blind rage as it lunged at warren with arms outstretched toward him, the grisly jaws the pokemon baring its teeth as it dove into the group of enemy trainers.

Throughout the city, both cries of joy and terror could be heard in the streets. Panic beset the islanders, tourists, and competitors alike as they all huddled around eachother to watch the news unfold. Survivors of the initial situation were running throughout city, begging for help. Braver trainers tended to them, while others whipped out their own pokegear to get a glimpse of the action. People in the street were abuzz with energy, some trainers nearby with signs and recruiters, all of which trying to round up a counter force to Viper. Although they themselves were met with indifference or fear. Many unwilling to go, or rather, were content with watching the others do the fighting. Juju Juju Dreamtique Dreamtique

As the events unfolded, people who had otherwise been unaware of their presence on the island, took notice. The news streaming through Lana De'ville's podcast, showing things Viper wasn't really supposed to reveal so early. The grimace on the fellow in particular, was exceptionally bad as he reached for his old sword. " My My viper, when will you ever learn"? He said, just barely under his breath as his soldiers and secretaries all saluted him in tandem, avoiding eye contact while still looking in his direction. The hood girl was taken aback, before bursting into laughter at what she called, tom foolery. And the pampered sun bather, well she was just barely able to break herself away from her drinks to take notice of the interesting garchomp. "hmm, naughty naughty vipey wipey", she said, immediately taking a swig of her drink once more. Curious as to how his little rebels would fair in the face of a tyrant.

Jasmine was quite concerned by the rather chaotic display before her. She saw parts of the building breaking, enraged pokemon concerned people, outside noise which sounded rather terrible, all while this occurred she decided she'd keep a poker face. She had no intent of standing down at this point in time. Though still she couldn't help wonder but how civilians who weren't even caught up this mess were faring, she truly didn't want anyone getting hurt, she knew this whole ordeal was a terrible idea, in terms of fighting. Now they couldn't stand down even if they wanted too in all actuality, very easily at least. There was too much at stake, as now it was clear he didn't care about the safety of anyone, all of this over getting his own selfish way, what a joke. At this point he was quite simply proving to be a brute. He was using his pokemon in an attempt to directly attack trainers, which wasn't in the pokemon battle edicate at all, generally speaking it was only ever used during wars, which thankfully were no longer occurring nearly as much as in the past, if one were to look at region history. though it was clear he had little to no edicate at this point, she wouldn't be surprised if he failed in basic edicate else where as well.. His pokemon were clearly being abused as Jasmine observed how they were being treated. It was clear that everyone else's pokemon was being treated in a much better way, as she could tell by the general health, they looked happier, more willing to serve their trainers, with out being forced too they had an actual bond.

She had however listened to Warren, nodding here and then when he was speaking to her as she didn't have too much else to add except how she thought while the idea was gimmicky it might just give them the extra edge of fire power. "TYPHLOSION, GIVE e'm A SUNNYDAY!" She'd merely say, Typhlosion obliged by standing on its hind legs briefly, his fire on his back would increase greatly, as he sparkled a bit, thus causing the sun to shine upon the area of the battle in a very bright way, it was oppressive in its own way, but not for a fire type, as light seeped through any spots which were open in the building. Typhlosion, any other fire pokemon, and plant type pokemon would be feeling almost a surge of energy in a way right about now, as the sunny graced them with its energy. It was very clear that something was about to change in a drastic fashion though....

Jasmine could see the Garchomp racing towards Warren, the poor thing looked like it was having a terrible time with the shocks and what not, though there was a much more pressing matter as It approached Warren and fast. Jasmine's heart beat quickened as she stared at it, It was getting closer and closer..and Typhlosion was a bit tuckered out from using sunny day and he wouldn't be able to react quickly enough to take the blow for Warren. "WARREN LOOK OUT!" She'd exclaim , As the enraged beast came charging at him....

Jesse Marino

Jesse saw the tail coming for him. Before he could react, Blake had gotten in between him and the oncoming blow, using steelwing to lessen the impact's damage to its body. The large pokemon let out a huff as it felt the blow, but held it's ground. Once the blow had been successfully blocked from harming his young trainer, it looked back at the boy. Jesse stood wide eyed, a bit stunned by his pokemon's actions. Blake hadn't even hesitated to throw himself in front of him. A small smile crept onto his face as he nodded at his pokemon in thanks.
"When we finish with this, I owe you a lot of pokepuffs don't I?"

The charizard let out a sound of amusement, nodding before turning back to it's opponent.
"Focus on dragonite for now! Dragon-claw!"

Blake lunged towards the snazzily dressed dragon-type, slashing it's torso with a claw encased in blue energy.

Blake HP:30/30(Lemme know if I need to lower for the protection bit above)
