AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
(Translation:Hi.)
EDIT: Okay I think I regained my ability to form coherent sentences now.
Not a problem, it wasn't all that much. Thanks for pointing some of these things out, it made the rules look really silly in some places.Bacon is fluffy
So.... I have some questions...
Thanks for pointing that out. I tried to leave loki's post as close to its original form as possible, since my players wanted game mechanics so badly lol. I changed it so base healing is 4. Weather related synthesis now healing 8 in good conditions, 2 in rain, and 1 in bad(sand storm, hail). Sorry for the mix up. It was a mistake I hadn't caught while revising the rules to add all these effects and stuff.
- Will Synthesis recover 1/2 hp? In weather other than Sunny Day it was stated it would heal "1/4hp" but before all those weather conditions it was said it would heal 3hp normally and 4hp on a Sunny Day. UwU just wondering which one's the real deal because at the moment a rainy day is looking like pretty sweet weather for synthesizing some sugars. =P
That is correct. If you believe its too low, I can review it. But considering how it can disable a pokemon regardless of what happens, I thought it was a bit too strong. Especially when there's larger numbers of pokemon participating in a fight(which will happen often).
- Sleep Powder and the such have a 3/10 chance of success (8-10) and last 2 turns roight?
Yes supersonic automatically succeeds like confuse ray. The distinction is Confusion is a damage move with a side effect, while supersonic only causes confusion.
- Would Supersonic work the same as Confuse Ray in which it automatically applies Confusion instead of the 1/10 roll (which I assume would apply to something like hurricane)?
Roar could be interesting, because it could be used as a fear mechanic, but it was always sort of wierd. Forcing switching to use spikes lul. I would reckon that it would do a similar thing as in the games. Unless you or someone else had another idea.
- How do moves like Roar work? What are the chances of success?
I would place it in the same boat as sword dance and other attack buffing moves.
- Would Charge double attack next turn or just add +1 atk?
With the way damage is used in this rp, it wouldn't. If it did, I'd have to make an exception for the few(if there are other hp shredding moves out there) hp shredding moves and change it a bit. It certainly wouldn't do 12 damage to a fully evolved pokemon without some sort of condition. Are there any other moves like super fang?
- Would Super Fang actually deal half the target's HP in damage?
Nope, adding it now. Activates on a roll of a 6 or 10 for moves that can cause it.
- Is Flinch a thing in this RP?
When it's yer turn. They consume a turn to activate. Which means we could end up with uhhh a metapod battle of hardening awesomeness. But if that does happen, I'll tack on a cooldown if my players get the urge to troll lol.
- How often can weather abilities be used?
uwa, that's a lot of questionses...

(100% Definitely not scam)
If I made confusion a disable if the confused pokemon attacks it self, and made it 2 damage per self afflicted injury. Would that be better?I see what you mean with sleep... it would be troublesome.
One thing Id suggest to be sent to the tweaking shop would probably be Confusion. Reading the rules it would cost you one turn to put the debuff on the target. The target is unhindered to attack you for 2 turns (not counting the first) and you are not guaranteed any damage at all. The most damage it would do is 2, the least zero, the most likely 1.
In a competitive state, you'd be better off with straight-forward attacks.. even if it was a 'not very effective' attack since that would garuntee your 2dmg.
(Can you tell I like confusion?)
Might I suggest decreasing the chance of hitting the confuser and elimating the damage from confusion? Sure, you can have your pokemon in the rp tripping or any other confuzzled shenanigans but it wont do a significant amount of anything except causing you to miss. It might flow better than saying eevee was confused and hurt its face on a rock but managed to get that headshot on Abra regardless.
Then again, it could make it pretty close to accuracy debuffs.. but, eh.
Other options are lengthening the timer or upping the damage since it isnt garunteed to hit every turn unlike poison.
Yus. OwOIf I made confusion a disable if the confused pokemon attacks it self, and made it 2 damage per self afflicted injury. Would that be better?
It shall be doneYus. OwO
Yep, a stunt always suceeds and a stunt is necessary for your opponent to counter act another stunt.*raises hand*
question:
If you chose to roll a stunt offensively, that means it always hits unless blocked/dodged by another stunt (if I read the little thing on it correctly)? Correct [yes/nahman]
So what if you wanted to use a stunt for a move that causes Sleep or lowered damage like Screech (no damage normally)? Would that bypass all the rolling?
Hey lokage. Do you want to post again, to add details about the restaurant. Or do you want me to make a gm post building off what has already been said?ello everyone~
