He walked quickly , heading in the direction they were last seen heading. He picked up some footprints in the sand that he could follow. He couldn't see them anywhere.


"H-Hello?! Hellooo?!" He shouted, hoping for a response.

"This is an underground passage to my old home. We've been living here for a while. I left on a mission about a month ago. And I know I think the all moved on to a different island. There should be left over supplies here. The come to the end of the ladder and walk slowly down the dark tunnel. "It's only another half a mile walk. Where's Wlof?"

"SHHHHH Shut up you twit!" he hissed up the ladder, "Get down here already man!" Ed hissed again, "So, Alys, there's something you're not telling us here...no pirates, or merchants


would build something like this, what's going on?" he asked nicely, trying to not sound a bit upset at that the mile long walk underground to an underground fort, was kind of abnormal.

Alyssa sighs as they wait on Wlof. "Sorry it's just... I haven't been telling you everything." she whispers. "These tunnels have wild beast through here, they are attracted to loud noise. As long as we are quiet we wont get attack. We can take them easy but I rather not deal with them at the moment."

He drew his pistols. The hearing sense was enhanced, he was paranoid.


He stepped quietly through the bushes. on one step , he quickly realized there was no ground under his foot.


He yelped slightly as he fell , firing his flintlock out of panic. his leg is caught on the ladder ,hanging him mere feet from the ground.


(Aaaaand it's gone.)

Alyssa looks up and sees Wlof hanging on by one foot on the ladder. She shakes her head. A deep growl comes from the tunnel, slowly four beat monsters appear. They have the body of a dog but are much uglier. "Ed take care of these beast Ill get Wlof down." She quickly climbs the ladder making it to Wlof in seconds.

"With pleasure Alys!" he shouted before charging the beast with his gun, firing a few shots then slamming the balde into it's skull, and then torching the head of it. Killing it. He then spun around into a circle, setting 1 more ablaze, then he charged a bigger one, he pawed at him but dodged it and took it's head clean off with a swift slash. The last one, tackled Ed, he then burned it's eyes a bit then pushed it away, before charging into it with his cutlass and gutting it where it stood. "Job well done I do say so myself!" he said, reloading his gun, and keeping watch.

"Grab on to the ladder and when I set your foot free flip over." She grabs Wlofs foot and takes it out of the ladder. She helps Wlof flip over with out falling off the ladder.

He was mumbling nonsense and unintelligible things. he looked up slightly to see Alyssa climbing up the ladder.


"A-are you death?" His vision was blurred and his head was bloody from the impact.


"Nein- Nein! I can't go to hell! I've got nothing to wear!" He broke down into tears as he saw 'death' approach him.


It seems the only reason he dean't want to die yet , is because he wants to wear something fancy for when he dies.


He held onto the ladder, as to not be taken away.


"Nein! Get avay from me!" he shouted.

Wlof mumble to himself. He was back upright but he wouldn't move down the ladder. "Wlof please your not dead. Please calm down.

"Get avay!" He used his free arm to aim the flintlock at her , the secondary barrel was loaded.

Ed walked over to Wolf and grabbed him by the shirt, and smacked him around a few times, "Wake up you stupid sausage, it's us!" he said shaking him

Alyssa laughs a little. Then turns towards the tunnel. "We need to get moving. If we can get him to the hide out I can care for him. I think he might have a concussion. Can he walk?"

His vision became worse and his eyes felt heavy. His eyes rolled up


He fell unconscious quickly , falling limp immediately.

"Eh I'll carry him..." he said, taking him into his arms, then flipping him onto his shoulder. "Alright Alys, lead the way." he said with a smile.

Alyssa nods. They walk down the long path for a while in silence, No other beast where around and hopefully it was like that the rest of the walk. "not to much farther. Do you need a break from carrying him?" She says turning her head back to look at Ed.

"I'm fine Alys, hes light, but if I have to keep carrying him, I'm going to drop him. " he said smiling, "So... Your eyes, why do they change color? I'm quite interested in knowing. " he said looking at her eyes, very nice looking. Ed was always a sucker for beautiful eyes.

"I've had it since I was little. I don't remember how I got them but I use to have blue eyes. At least that what my parents told me. I was out one day playing and when I came back home the had turn grey. My eye turn red when I become emotional, especially when I'm mad. When my eyes turn red my strength grows. So the more angry I get the redder my eyes get and the stronger I get. My eyes turn red with other emotions but that hasn't happened in along time. To be honest being with you and captain loud mouth has made me happier than I've been in a long time."

Ed smiled, "I'm glad I made you happier than ever. Makes me happy when a friend is, well, happy." he said smiling. "It's nice talking to someone that's not drunk and puking everywhere." he said, thinking about life from the island.

"Well you don't have to worry about me getting drunk. I hate alcohol." They finally make it to the end of the path way and come to a huge door. And on the door was the symbol of an assassin. She looks back at Ed and smiles. She was trying to see if her recognized the symbol. "Here we are." She says walking up to the door.

"Hmm...Never saw that before." he said, scratching his chin, "I wonder what's behind it..." he said, standing by Alyssa, and then he laid Wolf down next to them, since he was getting annoyed by carrying him. "If he doesn't wake up, I'm going to tie him to the tip of the ship, and make him a statue." he said, glaring with some anger at him.

Alyssa gives him a small laugh. She takes one of her gloves off here hand revealing the same symbol on the back of her hand. She places her hand on the door. The symbol glows slightly then the door slowly begins to open it self. She slips her glove back on then walks to Wlof. She focuses all her emotions, her eyes turn red. She reaches down and pick him up easily. It probably looked funny, a small girl carrying a grown man, but she wanted to give Ed a break. "Ill take him to the infirmary then Ill show you around. I'm guessing you might have a few questions."

"Yep." he said, bluntly trying to sound funny, it was cute how she was moving that big buffoon. He looked around, a small little place, maybe the size of a large house, of course, the house would have to be round, and have eternal torches burning to light the place.

Alyssa layed Wolf down and cared for his wounds. The infirmary wasn't big, had about three beds but when your an assassin you are usually doing the hurting or killing. She walks out closing the door quieltly. She turns her head her hands on her hips. "He should be fine." she says looking around. They had completely deserted the place. She wondered which hide out the had moved to next.
