Fantasy A Pirates Life at Sea (always accepting!)

Naddy grit her teeth at the sound of his name. Anger fueled her. She took deep breaths and listened to Elpis to calm herself.

"Yes, dear. There are a lot of people in the Navy." She managed to smile for her.

"How… many?" She asked, her voice was clouded with grief.

Alistair woke up in the morning, having a headache that seemed like it could split his head in half. He hadn't slept much, the life outside of a boat was to alien for him to feel comfortable. The lack of waves hitting against his ship, the missing movement of the boat against the water...Alistair couldn't wait to be on a ship again.

He pulled himself to his feet, taking a quick look at the mirror. Damn,he looked tired. He hoped that he was at least presentable to stand in front of the Admiral. When his uniform looked less messy,he walked out of the tavern and headed for the base. It wasn't a long walk, and soon he was standing in front of the Admiral's chamber. He knocked lightly before stepping in. To his surprise,a few people were standing in there already.

"Admiral Bernadette! It's good to see you again." Alistair stood in a typical posture of a navy officer, lowering his head lightly. "I hope this means that we will be getting some reinforcements."

His eyes drifted towards the small girl in the room, some curiosity marked in them.

(We're in the war room thing xD )

Naddy turned her head to the familiar voice, her lips couldn't help but twitch into a small smile.

"Vice-Admiral Alistair." She greeted. "Are you alright?" She eyed his body. "Dear oh my, just what the hell happened here?"

@TheEscapist @Mircure @Wickedkent

"Another person older than me" Elpis groaned , with Naddy by her side she was feeling more confident to say :"Hello ... I saw you're looking at me . I'm Elpis and i'm a new in the Navy ... I'm ..." She blushed " I'm the disciple of Naddy-senpai ! "

(Yeah I'm horrible at finding locations)

Alistair seemed slightly embarrassed,a rare glance of shame crossing his eyes before he fixed his posture. It didn't feel right for him to be presenting himself like this, and he mentally berated himself for the slippery.

"I'm fine,Admiral. I seem to have overused my powers yesterday, but I'm still willing and able to take any orders."

He once again turned his glance to the child. A smile appeared on his face at her words, and he nodded towards her.

"Yes,I'm a bit of a grumpy old man." He kneeled on the ground so he could look the kid on her eyes. "It's good to meet you,Elpis. You must be very brave to be joining the navy at such a young age. I will be proud to work by your side."

Alistair was good with children, like always. He had always wanted to have children himself, but the death of his wife pushed those dreams away.

Elpis was amazed: does everybody was so kind in the Navy? It is a kind of paradise for her. She spoke to Alistair: " Then you are not with ruffled hair all the time ? Nevertheless that does not fit too badly on you !" She tilted the head and smiled .

Then a shade of doubt passed on the face: "It seem that here ... everybody has powers. If it is a normal and a common thing, Can I have some too without knowing it ?"

Naddy chuckled softly at Elpis' remark. She poked her gently then gave her a grin.

"I don't think it works that way, Elpis." She told her. She looked back at Alistair, seeing him with a changed posture, she admired his composure, resolve, and dedication to the cause of the Navy.

"So can someone tell me the story, please? Why was there snow? What happened to MacWatt? What's the plan?" She asked with a serious face now.

After the rude awaking and evacuation.. she had no where to go but the sea. Her satchel was still hanging. There were a few rocky outcrops that marked the very beginnings of the island a bit aways. She decided to stay in the very shallow waters, but also wanted to soak up some sun. Her mer form was still present as she combed though her mostly dry hair. A tune started to work its way into her mind, then slowly pushed out onto her lips and into the wind.

Oh, don't yiz hear the old man say?

Goodbye, fare-ye-well! Goodbye, fare-ye-well!

Oh, don't yiz hear the old man say?

Hoor-raw me boys! We're homeward bound!

We're Homeward bound to Liverpool Town,

Goodbye, fare-ye-well! Goodbye, fare-ye-well!

Where all them judies, they will come down

Hoor-raw me boys! We're homeward bound!

An' when we gits to the Wallasey Gates

Goodbye, fare-ye-well! Goodbye, fare-ye-well!

Sally an' Olly for their flash men do wait

Hoor-raw me boys! We're homeward bound!

An' one to the other ye'll hear them say,

Goodbye, fare-ye-well! Goodbye, fare-ye-well!

Here comes Johnny with his fourteen mont's pay!

Hoor-raw me boys! We're homeward bound!

We meet these fly gals an' we'll ring the ol' bell,

Goodbye, fare-ye-well! Goodbye, fare-ye-well!

With them judies, we'll raise merry hell

Hoor-raw me boys! We're homeward bound!

We're homeward bound to the gals o' the town.

Goodbye, fare-ye-well! Goodbye, fare-ye-well!

And stamp up me bullies an' heave it around.

Hoor-raw me boys! We're homeward bound!

An' when we gits home, boys, oh, won't we fly round.

Goodbye, fare-ye-well! Goodbye, fare-ye-well!

We'll heave up the anchor to this bully sound.

Hoor-raw me boys! We're homeward bound!

She sighed and hummed the tune now, her lungs needing a little break. The cold frozen sky water had had ill effects on her. They left her feeling a bit week and slow. Was that what humans called being sick?

Luna, too, was swimming just near Tortuga. She heard A mermaid's voice, a voice she was not familiar with. Slowly, she made her approach.

"Hello, stranger. I haven't seen you in my waters, before." She greeted her with her melodic voice.

((not a siren.))

Katherine

Katherine had decided to walk around after getting the medics. Seeing all those dead men made her sick. She want afraid to die, but people suing death as there gate way to escape was sickening. As she walks the port, navy ships slowly appeared. Maybe for a meeting of some sort. Someone walks onto the edge of an navy ship and makes eye contact with her. "No way!" she thought.

She runs through the halls of the headquarters trying to find her room. All the places he could've showed up at why here. She finally decides to just pick a room and runs inside. She opens the door and slams it shut. She sighs and smiles. "That was close!" She hears a woman's voice and slowly turns around seeimg Grarveel abd a few others. "Um... is this a bad time?"

after hearing the serpents words the night before she decided to just got to bed. She was super angry and going and looking for him could've caused people to get hurt. Today she walks the port wondering what to do next.

Freya tried to smile. She missed the days when it was only humans that interrupted her singing. It seemed all sorts of other sea-faring creatures had come to Tortuga as well. "Your waters. Hah... hahaha.." She giggled and pushed some long hair from her face.

Alistair's smile ended turning playful at Elpis' words. He had to admit that she was right, his long blond hair was a rightful mess today.

"It doesn't always look like this, but I do have a tendency to look like I have been attacked by a kraken. And your powers might develop in time,I only had full control of mine when I turned eighteen."

He stood up to reply to the Admiral, meeting her glance in a respectful way. Since he was a tall man,he had to look down to meet her eyes.

"Admiral Gavreel found MacWatt here in Tortuga and engaged in combat with him. That was why the land was covered in snow, his powers triggered the weather. We had MacWatt surrounded, but he managed to flee after killing some of the man. It may have been my fault. I took to long to give the order for them to fire. You...should probably include my act in your report,Admiral."

His voice was leveled as usually, but the glance in his eyes was obviously torn with guilty. Not only that, but he admired Naddy's strength. The thought of disappointing her was difficult to him.

He turned to Katherine, shaking his head.

"We're only setting a few details of the last day."

Luna watched her curiously… she's never seen this woman, which is odd, considering she knows the depths of the entire ocean.

"You're not from the ocean… you haven't been for a while." She smiled coyly at the stranger. She should know, anything and everything under the ocean belonged to her and her sister.

Speaking of her sister… she wondered where she's gone off to, maybe she knew who the stranger was. She looked around from her place, trying to find her.

Naddy shook her head at Alistair.

"Nonsense. That would not happen, Vice-Admiral." She frowned at him. "I'm glad that you're here." She admitted with a hint of a smile.

"I assume that protocols have been followed, considering that Tortuga is swarming with the Navy. The question now that lies is, where is his crew? Are there any ships docked in Tortuga that are not the Navy's?" She asked, trying to recollect her memories of her own ship docking into Tortuga.

The mermaid rolled her eyes. "Just because I don't spend All my time in the ocean doesn't mean I'm not from it. My uncle was King Triton if you must know." She said and lightly glared. He was the only family left that she had.. and even so, she preferred not to go to him if it could be helped. He was the one that gave her the ability to visit the surface world anyway.. The ability to change her tail for a more human body.

Elpis jumped :

"I saw a ship without the sign of the Navy Mam' ! It was at the East of the city , not far away of a tavern !"

She smiled , proud of herself .

Alistair returned Naddy's words with a hesitant smile. He was still going through the happenings of the last day, trying to discover if he could have done something different to protect his soldiers. The answer was probably no,but that didn't mean that the guilty was lessened.

"I'm glad you're here as well,Admiral. We surely can use your abilities." He returned his attention to Elpis, nodding to her in approval. "That was quite observant of you. Admiral Bernadette,we should probably send a few soldier to check the crew, although we need to be more careful this time. I don't want any unnecessary causalities. Meanwhile...I was hoping to check the city for any left citizens that we weren't able to evacuate. If I may take my leave,I will go make sure that there isn't anyone in danger of being caught in our operation."

He placed his report of the pirate attack in Admiral Graveel's table before his form shifted and disappeared, returning to the city by the form of teleportation. Alistair's eyes were carefully trained, and it didn't take long for him to check every main point of the city. He tried to use his powers in a clever way this time, only teleporting when it was extremely necessary. His path through Tortuga ended leading him through the shore. That seemed like a place for citizens to hide, since most soldier didn't roam through the beginnings of the island. His mind was mostly distracted as he focused his glance on the waves, trying to find any trace of movement.

Suddenly,Alistair felt his breath getting caught upon his throat. He would have recognized the young woman anywhere, mostly because she held a beauty that didn't seem to belong in this world. The voice that he remembered well was also there, although this time it seemed slightly displeased.

With a sudden embrace of courage,Alistair approached the mermaid. His eyes followed her tail for a second before they focused back on her face.

"If you weren't standing in front of me,I wouldn't believe you actually existed." Alistair smiled to Freya, unable to tear his eyes away from her. "My name is Alistair,ma'am. I apologize for this careful approach, but your beauty swims at a depth that I could easily drown in. If you would grant me your name,I would be the happiest man in the world."" @Enmyira @Mircure @CharmyPie

Freya turned her head as a man approached. His strong yet seemingly gentle voice put butterflies in her stomach and a redness in her face. It was the man who'd she seen last night on her way to the tavern.. Her eyes blinked a few confused times before she hugged her arms around herself. "Ser... Alistair. Your words enchant my ears just as my song reaches out to others... I am.. Freya.."
