Danny nodded and thanked her again, letting her go out and speak to Pero while he kept Roman with him a little longer, carrying him around just to help get him settled so Max could take him home without much fuss, eventually handing him over again and watched her leave withhim, heading back in to see Pero and sighed quietly, "Hey I uh, I'm gonna head to bed... Give me a shout if you need a hand or anything." He told him, heading off, leaving Pero to bond with his daughter a little.

Carmen frowned and just nodded, going to put her one bag on the couch, tensing up as his arms went around her and she tried to push him off, "This wasn't part of the deal." She whimpered

Dylan frowned softly and removed his arms from around her "Sorry...over stepped there." He murmured before making his way to the kitchen. He wanted to gain her trust again before he had his way with her

Pero stayed up all night with the baby even when she slept he made sure everything was alright. He didn't know how anyone could handle this full time and he worried if he would be up to handle this.

Carmen frowned and tried to settle. His place was trashed and she saw the packages on the counter so he was clearly still dealing so how he had changed she wasn’t sure but she was desperate enough to try.

Danny slept through the night to his surprise, having expected Pero to be grabbing him all through the night but he got up early to get himself ready to go collect roman, seeing Pero in the kitchen and sighed some “You doing okay? Things kinda... settled in your bead now?” He asked him

Dylan came back and picked up a few boxes full of his work and put them out if sight before he started throwing empty beer bottles and pizza boxes away "Sorry for the mess, have a few people over last night." He murmured

Pero looked at Danny as he came down and frowned "I can't.....I can't do this Danny. I don't know what the fuck I was thinking." He muttered looking at Lily who was now asleep in the little rocker Max had given them

She frowned and judt watched him warily, dashing to the bathroom after a few minutes to throw up, still not used to coming down from the high again.

Danny shook his head "Yes you can, hey, you got me for help and your little girl needs you right now... Carmen clearly didn't want to give her up if she told them you're the father... She's out there somewhere too." He pointed out knowing that his friend had been quietly looking for her without telling anyone

Dylan got her some water and took it up to the bathroom placing it on the counter before he left her to it and went outside for a smoke

Pero frowned more and took a deep breath "You have Roman and Max to worry about, don't need to worry about me." He muttered sighing heavily

Carmen frowned curling up on the bathroom floor and starting to cry, pulling her phone out and finally sending Pero a text. ‘Please don’t let her fall into the system. I love you, I’m sorry.’ Before she turned it off and lay there again.

Danny shrugged. “It’s not any trouble dude. It takes a village. And I know you’re worried but I think you’re gonna be fine.”

Pero frowned more but gave a small nod looking at his phone as it lit up going wide eyed as he saw Carmen's number "She texted me....." he mumbled before sighing heavily

Dylan went to the restroom when he realized she hadn't come out yet and knocked lightly "Carmen? You okay in there?" He asked quietly trying his best to sound sincere.

Danny looked up from putting his shoes on and raised an eyebrow, "What did she say?" He asked him, sighing quietly and glanced at the time, "I'm gonna head out, go get the little monster, we'll be over here later anyway, he wants to make cookies." He told him and left Pero alone with his daughter,heading over to Max's place and ringing the doorbell.

She flinced a little and looked over at it, shaking some as she stood up, opening it a crack and frowned some, bracing herself that any minute this facade would disappear and he would be throwing her around again

Max opened the door and smiled happily at Danny as he came in "Hey there, Roman is so excited to go with you." She said happily biting her lip hard as she looked at him "Everything okay with the baby?"

Dylan pushed some hair from her face and sighed softly "You hungry at all? I can make you somethin." He murmured giving a small sigh

“Hey, yeah he’s uh.... he’s tryna navigate his way around this... carmen texted him this morning. Just a few words but she made contact.” He told her as he stepped inside.

“Why have you asked me to come here?” She muttered as she stared at him frowning “cause the way I see it is that without you in my life I would never be in this position in the first place.... I could be settling into being a new mom... but instead I fight off cravings every fucking day because you got me hooked in the first place!” She snapped.

Max frowned softly and gave a small nod "If he needs any help let me know. I'll do whatever I can." She murmured smiling as Roman ran out to his dad hugging him tight "Well you two have fun okay? Call me if you need anything."

Dylan frowned as he looked at her shaking his head some "If I remember correctly you're the one who told me you wanted to try it!" He spat back glaring at her some

“Because you had taken everything from me! You’d already got me hooked on other drugs what was one more gonna do by that point?!” She screamed in his face. “You dragged me down with you because you were too fucking selfish to let me go!” She sobbed.

“Hey kiddo, got your bag? Yes ma’am, call us when you’re ready for him to come home.” He smiled at her softly and left carrying roman on his hip. “So, you wanna do park first or after breakfast?” He asked him while they walked.

Roman felt his tummy grumble and rubbed it some "I hungry daddy!" He said cuddling into him some "Daddy? When you and mommy going to date?"

Dylan glared at her and shook his head more "Look I fucked up okay?! But I wanna make it up to you. I really do love you Carmen, I never stopped " he admits

She scoffed at that and shook her head. “You don’t know what it fucking is to love someone!” She snapped at him. “You know how to hurt people and that’s about it! Bullshit you’ve changed you’re still dealing Dylan! At least Danny has fucking turned his life around!” She snapped. “You lost me the day you gave me an overdose to force me to lose our child!” She snapped at him again, walking away to find her bag but felt him grab her by her hair and drag her to the floor.

Danny nodded. “Breakfast it i... oh buddy we Uh... see me and mommy used to ... but daddy did some really bad things and so mommy didn’t want to see me anymore and now we both love you very very very much but mommy has a new boyfriend.” He told him gently.

Dylan glared daggers at her as she walked off. He went over and grabbed her hair dragging her to the floor "I fucking tried to be nice with you but you have pushed me too far!" He yelled throwing her into the main bedroom

Roman frowned some and shook his head some "But she love you daddy! I hear her say it! Arlo is a meanie too, he never try to take me to the park like you."

Danny smiled some at him. “When you are all grown up, you’ll understand that there are different kinds of love. Mommy is still my best friend. Aside from you.” He teased him. “You want pancakes or waffles?” He asked him to try and steer the conversation away.

She cried through the whole ordeal trying to stop him but she had no strength in her anymore and she couldn’t keep him off just wishing she was back home with Pero instead, just wanting her daughter back in her arms.

Roman frowned some more and nodded "Pancakes....but Mommy and Arlo fight about it. She have your name on her, and he got mad." He explained frowning more "So Mommy love you more than Arlo."

Dylan had his way with her and once he was finished he made sure to lock her in the room "I'll see you later, don't even think about fucking leaving!"

"Roman, buddy... I know that it's confusing... but if mommy doesn't want to be together with me then that's okay too, we both love you very very much." He told him, taking him into the Ihop close by. "Hey maybe if you are really super duper good then for your birthday we can go to olive garden and then the arcade?" He told him, "I know mom's doing you a party and I'm gonna try and get time off work to be there too." He smiled at him.

William showed up at Pero's place, banging on the door to get him to open up, frowning some when he heard a baby start crying inside but watched in shock a little when it was indeed Tovar that opened the door, "Hey man... long time no see, I uh.... You mind if I come in? We need to talk." He muttered. Will had been an ally to him in the world of organised crime and while Pero got out, Will had taken over most of his business as well "Please... You're not in trouble, I just have some information you might find useful." He told him

Roman nodded some and cuddled close to him gasping when he heard Arcade and shook his head holding his hands on his ears "No! No no! Arcade loud! It scary!" He said starting to fall into a panic as he thought about it more and more.

Pero opened the door and frowned when he saw Will outside of the door. He bounced Lily lightly to try and calm her down taking a deep breath "What the hell are you doing here?" He asked as he stepped into his place

Danny frowned and bounced him gently, "Hey buddy it's alright, hey look at me... We aren't going then okay? We can do whatver you like, no arcade I promise.... Good job Roman, just settle alright." He coaxed, bouncing him gently and kept him close until he relaxed finally, heading up to the podium to get them a table once he had calmed down.

Will frowned some, "Your kid I presume.... Her mother is a Carmen Ramirez right?" He asked him "I wanted to give you a heads up, I know you've put some feelers out there about her wherebouts, she was spotted at one of my places last night, took off with some guy but it wasn't clear if she was going willingly or not... She looked like a junkie, blends right in now, it's over on 7th avenue, looks abandoned... don't take the kid there if you wanna go poking around and asking questions.... Just tell em that you're a good friend of mine, they'll answer you truthfully." He told him,

Roman calmed down and made his way to the table with his dad coloring on the kids menu smiling some "Daddy can I have orange juice?" He asked happily knowing he wasn't aloud to have any because he was allergic but he didn't understand it really.

Pero frowned more and took a deep breath giving a small nod "Give me the address." He muttered taking a deep breath and keeping Lily close to him "Don't ever come back here again Will, write a letter or something but don't show up again unannounced." He said seriously

“Yeah yeah, you’ll thank me later for it though.” He muttered and handed him a note paper with the address on it before looking over at the little girl. “Looks just like you poor thing.” He chuckled and left him to it.

Danny nodded some not thinking much about it with everything that had been going on, just getting a coffee for himself and ordering their food once the waiter came by.

Pero frowned some and showed him the door giving a small nod "See you around Will." He murmured before he closed it and placed Lily in her rocker getting a bottle ready for her like Max had taught him

Roman smiled and sat there happily waiting for his food. Once it arrived he took a couple bites of his pancakes before a big sip of orange juice. He frowned though and soon started coughing and wheezing looking at Danny with frightened eyes as his air way started to close up

Danny frowned some and looked over at him; cursing under his breath and glanced at the orange juice before grabbing the bag and took his epipen out, giving it to him quickly and sitting with him while a waiter came over to help gently getting Roman calmed down and sighed quietly. “Hey buddy... hey we forgot you can’t have orange juice. That’s it just calm alright?” He coaxed rubbing his back gently but he started coming up in a rash and Danny just lifted him up taking him back outside and hailing a cab. “Alright kiddo we’re gonna take you down to get you settled okay?” He coaxed, calling max once they were on their way to the hospital.

Lily stared up at him and smiled when he came back, reaching up to him and wriggling around until he picked her up, making grabby hands for his face.
