He stated, taking off his button-up and putting on his old science cloak, the cloak was stained with blood and other sorts of stains...

Mai stretched out her wings, standing proudly in the room. Her eyes glanced at the blood strains... But that's what true scientist should be able to handle in her mind "Innocent? Pah... You underestimate me old man... Let me be sucked into this life... I've already started, haven't I? I'm sure a great mentor can teach me... Especially one with stones under his belt... Please old pops..." The girl pleaded, obviously not giving up anytime soon.

If ye truly want me to be your master, would ye believe what I told ye about that feather?


He asks calmly.

Mai froze for a moment, would she believe him? When her father gave her the feather it was a present after a long day... He once said ' to get every detail from an experiment... One had to test all of a creatures senses, and tear it apart from skin to bone... Watch how the insides of their body work while alive... Organs, heart, lungs... Brain... But no worries Mai, I only do this with caged animals ' Mai couldn't imagine him doing this.... Not one bit..."A woman... About.. About the age of my mother... When she divorced my father..." Mai muttered quietly, biting on her tongue "The past.. Is the past... There s nothing..i could do even..." Her mind rolled around with random thoughts and images as she tried to block it out "I...want you to be my master..."

So. This woman, your mother, must have been the owner of that feather, meaning your father killed yer mother In the name of "science" Yer father went mad, are ye sure ye won't as well?


He asked.

 

[Nekoni]

Mai stared up at the ancient, disgust filing her heart as he said those words "I've always wanted to be like him..." She stiffed, voice low voice, head spinning, eyes slited... What of her brothers? One was only a toddler when her father said he had left them to live with their mother... She tried not to imagine the blood stained coats he came home with... Or the jars of teeth and blood he gave her to examine... He seemed so happy, so thrilled, so calm. How could anyone be so unfazed by murder? "I wont... Only because it's not his blood ruining through my veins... It's all of yours... Myths and the others..."

He ruffled her hair with a laugh.


Heh, cute words for someone so young, I'll think about It. For now, why don't ye help me clean up the mess ye made?

Mai nodded moving stiffly towards the shattered glass on the floor. "I'm...not going to take no as an answer." She stated, carefully picking up pieces of debris between her clawed fingers. His laugh cheered her up a bit despite all the memories she had to process.

I haven't given ye an answer yet.

Tony wandered about silently. He settled himself against a wall, sitting against it. He stared up at the ceiling as he thought, golden eyes focused as he concentrated

"Then you know the only answer I can accept" she grinned a bit, still number by the onset of all the information, still in a state of shock. (night!)

Whether or not I will give ye an answer depends on your actions, however, before ye become my disciple, ye must read every single one of the books at the top of the building, I have my library up there. A lot of them are also scrolls, and will probably be difficult to read for ye.

Mai nodded slowly "I definitely will..." She found the thought of ancient scrolls and old books fascinating, hoping reading might get any raw thoughts out of her mind before they dug too deep. The girl started up the stair to look for the library. "I'll show you that I deserve to be your student...after all I need a me role model."

 

[AzelFang]

Make sure ye don' fall down the stairs! And be wary of the Beasts runnin about, they will try to eat ye!


He called out..

Mai blinked at him, "What? Really?? So are these Beasts...your

Mai blinked at him"Wait... Really???" Stared at him in a astonished manner... Curious at the thought "are these beasts your... Experiments?" Mai asked, wondering how they could survive in a place without anyone for so long.

Yea, all of them are mine, they seem to see my as either a master or a father.. Either way, they're very protective of me, so don't try to test on em without me with around and with my permission..


He said as he cleaned up the broken glass, distributing the different liquids Into different vials, as to not mix the content.

Mai nodded, all the creatures seemed so free and chaotic...much different her own. Unlike being bred and programmed to obey like her own experiments...these creatures seemed to enjoy him.. "Ill make sure not to test on them...but I really might want to...just...play with them..They don't have cages or pens? What if they get into your equipment? " she walked slower and slower up the stairs, glancing down from the top.

They know better than to do that.


He says..

Mai carefully trots up the steps to the top floor of the library, "If you trust them that much I guess I can't argue with that." The scientist took careful steps, taking all precaution not to trip or fall up the the stairs. She arrived at the library, staring blankly at the expanse of books, shelves, scrolls and etc lined down the large room. "EVERYTHING? I HAVE TO READ EVERYTHING??"

Yea! It will make everything much easier to understand, also one of the things ye must do to learn under me!


He calls up the stairs as he cleans up and pets the Beasts.
