Zoe stands her ground in the face of opposition and would readily protect her coven and their values with her life. With a natural sense of practicality and patience, she carefully considers issues presented before her before making a decision. However, she is slow to trust others, and besides her closest confidante, Marguerite Montgomery, there are very few witches Zoe would sanction as competent and mature enough to take her place as the high priestess. Sometimes her holier-than-thou attitude is one of annoyance, and depending on the person, she may give the impression of being arrogant or pretentious. Ultimately, Zoella considers herself to be the elder sister and resident mentor of the coven, and while she takes her responsibilities seriously, she has no shame showing her playful or flirtatious side from time to time.
[div class="Line"][/div] History: Growing up in a family of high expectations and academic achievements, Zoe has adopted a strong sense of determination, which was a reason to how she rose to such a prominent role among the Assimilators at a relatively young age. She had recently received her master's degree in veterinary science, and while she already had the ability to speak all human and animal languages, understanding their anatomy allows her to cure their physical ailments as well. During graduate school, she offered occult services in providing palm readings and horoscopes as a way to collect additional funds. Even though Zoella believes in the freedom to practice magic in society, she refuses to accept dark magic and bewares of magic that concerns the afterlife, such as séances and summonings, preferring not to dabble in them herself. Her ferret has been her most intimate companion since her childhood, and with a combination of magic and medicine, Zoe has been able to keep his prolonged life happy and healthy.

Magics: Her interest in books led her to become quite well-practiced in the use of tarot cards, as well as the lesser known I Ching - an ancient Chinese manual of divination.

She craves success, and when she doesn't achieve her goals, she believes herself to be inadequate. She comes across as very brisk and unfriendly - like she doesn't have time for anyone or anything, and really she doesn't. A natural busy-body, Vivian tries to keep herself occupied at all times. In the brief interludes between her work, she can usually be found studying old tomes and forgotten volumes in the Council's library. She is in a constant pursuit of knowledge, and while she may be too scared to put anything she learns to use - she is a very cautious person - she has developed a mental vault full of magical secrets that may one day be of use. She believes strongly in the Council's ideals, and uses her magic as little as possible - often foregoing it entirely. Sometimes it makes her feel weak, or like she a lesser witch, and in turn she begins to doubt herself and her abilities. While she can be particularly judgemental of others and often sees the worst in people, she is surprisingly nurturing towards younger pupils, and encourages the garnering of knowledge.
[div class="Line"][/div] History: Raised by parents who lived in fear of their own magic, Vivian was taught very little as a child. Much was shielded and hid from her, leaving the curious girl to go in search of knowledge on her own. She didn't show any signs of magic until she was nearly ten years old; she went to open her bedroom door to go to the kitchen downstairs, but when she stepped through the doorway she found herself entering the kitchen through what was normally the closet. Though shocked at first, this elated her - she was a real witch! She began experimenting to see what she was capable of, and because of her parents' lack of guidance she was forced to figure out how to control her magic entirely on her own. It wasn't until she was thirteen that her parents finally caught her using her magic, and decided the safest thing for her now was to send her to one of the Council's academies for young witches. This is where she spent the rest of her teenage years, and where she resides currently - now helping as an instructor's aide and tutor at the academy.
