Unfortunately, Soren had other plans. Granted, he did save Bianca from the wall that was about to fall on them, but their enemy had used such a distraction to flee from them. And the necrobot has successfully vanished as the dust from the wall's collapse to the ground faded away. Left on the ground, with Soren on top of her - this was not her ideal situation, nor position. Aergundias wasn't even present in the area.

Pushing away Soren and standing up all by herself, she shrugged the residual dust off of her. "You should have prevented its escape.", she scoffed at him. "If you mean not to help at all, then flee now."

Her blade was still drawn, and she saw no need to sheathe it back. Something was still out there. And that something needed to be cut down by her sword - she could feel in in her veins, it was as if it was destiny itself telling her to do so.

"Before you regret being here at all.", Bianca added.

Hence, with a final word and warning, she began her step further into the capital.

When the automaton came to life, Ragna's eyebrows slightly raised. Sure, he had made his homocu-maids which would be far more complex than any other homonculi out there, but the construct before him was something he hadn't seen in ages - a being that is given life through mana, or it simpler terms, magic. Granted, the blueprints he made for golems specifically stated that those where beings that live through magic, but he never really saw them in action, hence, he was admiring the automaton before him - almost as if being proud of it, like he was with all of his creations.

Ragna laughed at the sudden turn of events, with the lich being sealed into the coffin by the very puppet he activated. Several of Ragna's maids were on high alert, and glared at Alice with ferocity, but Ragna signaled to them to stay calm and continue their duties.

"How amusing!", he said loudly, clapping for a few seconds.

"I am indeed your new master.", Ragna addressed the automaton. "Tell me, do you have a name?"

Julia couldn't believe what she was hearing. The creature reeked of alcohol. She was about to open her mouth when Lou said his sentence, which had blatantly called her a hoe. Julia felt the veins in her head pop from anger. She gave a rather venemous smile to Lou and said in a sing song voice trying to hold back anger, "Lou...if I hear myself being called a 'hoe' one more time, you're going to be in deep trouble. Especially after knowing how bad such a word is when used for women. Understood?"

After threatening Lou with a smile, Julia turned her gaze back to the Satyr. "You're telling me that you, a drunk Satyr...wandered into Fort Black, home to the Guild of Heroes, and attempted to steal from one of us. I would let the Guildmaster or Emily decide your fate, but I'm almost tempted to let our Vault Keeper, Faust, decide what to do with you."

Julia then reached into her satchel and pulled out a scroll and a piece of parchment. She used leviatation to write a letter that said, "This dirty Satyr was caught trying to pickpocket guild members. It's fair that you decide her fate, -Julia." After the letter was written, Julia pulled out a scroll and used it to conjure up a golem from the earth. Julia handed the letter to the golem and then looked at the Satyr. She gave a dark smile and used both her hands to edit the stone into kind of roll with an open head. It made the Satyr look like a stone burrito and sent the golem off to deliver the thief to Emily. She then decided to ask Lou a question as she led the boy by the hand.

"Now then Lou? What was it you said earlier after squealing young girl?"

Soren
Location: Egrandia

Mentioned/In Area: Birdsie Birdsie

Soren didn't entirely understand what this woman's issue was. He had just saved her from a slab that the robot had flung at her while she was trying to find a way back up. He even ended up wounding his leg in the process. Soren scowled at her for criticizing him as such, but with that thing still on the loose, there was no telling what would happen if he tried to find his way out of the city alone. He had no idea who the woman was, but she was the only person to actually manage to harm the creature, so he walked up to a couple meters away from her diagonally and stated, "I understand why you're upset, but considering my weapon didn't work on it, I didn't have a choice. A dead man can't accomplish much, but it is scared of you. I suggest finding a way to use that to your advantage."

Soren half expected her to still scowl at him, but as he walked beside her, looking at the various buildings and roads empty of a once flourishing life...and the body of a child sitting on the ground, he said, "As for my regrets...I have too many to leave this place after a recent lead. If I find out that necrobot has defiled something precious to me..." Soren's hands gripped his Scimitar tightly to the point where one could see the veins pop up and the blade shake slightly in anger. "You have my word I will no longer show regard for my own life in front of him." His eyes clearly conveyed an intense potential for fury burning. One that could only be achieved through a wish of a vengeance, but once the thought crossed Soren's mind he pulled up on his scarf slightly and tilted his gaze downwards. He had probably given too much emotion there.

After some minutes of walking, Soren was thinking of what he had observed in the necrobot fight. He looked at Bianca slightly and observed her, it was quite odd really. This mysterious woman...how did she learn to do what she did? At a glance, Soren wouldn't think she was as seasoned a warrior he had seen her be. He did have to wonder what her own goal was. Soren found it hard to believe she was here off of benevolence alone, especially with skills like that. As Soren walked though, the wound on his leg continued to drip blood, but he didn't mind it too much. It was only causing some pain in his legs. He had forgotten about it since, but he sure hoped nothing was attracted to the blood...or maybe something could be convinced to follow blood, especially considering what it was looking for.

Bem the Apianian - Training yard > Near the dungeon - Birdsie Birdsie One Mean Ghost One Mean Ghost Fable Fable
hip to fuck bees.png

The bee let out a small, painfully sad sigh as she heard the words "Postpone" and "lessons" in the same sentence by the goddess of intimacy with exclusively bards. "Alright.." Bem pouted, her head suddenly dropping to look at the dirt ground her thin legs were standing upon. It was strangely relieving to know that Ellis wasn't quite as likely to kill her in the middle of a battle by 'accident' anymore, nor did she expect him to insult her in the foreseeable future, and that alone made her a little bit happier than she had been a matter of minutes prior. "Maybe I'm starting to get the hang of these humans." she thought into herself before returning her attention to the duo still before her as Drui continued her teacher-role and explained that the devices were the reason Kit had suddenly disappeared, and how she could do that too. Disgust for the device flooded over her, but she couldn't help the budding curiosity as to see where it would bring her.

Ellis disappeared next, but Bem wasn't quite as shocked, now that she was aware that this whole teleporting business wasn't just phasing out of existence in sudden, random spontaneous death. Bem did as instructed and concentrated on the small distressed beacon, but not before slipping the woman's hand into one of her own, expecting the device to work as she intended. The duo suddenly found the idea of teleportation rather distressing in its own right as she suddenly wasn't where she had been. What had once been a small training yard was now replaced by a much more gritty setting that seemed to already contain a certain level of fighting. Bem was hit with a wave of nausea. Kit and the unnamed one were currently brawling it out. The battle-bee attempted to drag her new goddess-friend behind a tree in a rather forceful manner, instinctually attempting to avoid giving the enemy either vision or a chance to fire an arrow, mainly on instinct, despite the wave of sickness as her mind struggled to grasp the idea that she wasn't where she had been, even though she had just been there. "I am not going to get used to that.. Oh! I uh.. Forgot I was holding you. Are you alright?" she apologised after jerking the Drui's arm. "Y-you'll still teach me right?"

Armad
Location: Outside of the dungeon/spire.
Interacting with: The undead and two necromancers. Birdsie Birdsie

'Augh shit that's a bitch and a half, thought that'd get rid of all of them.' Armad's eyes widened as he felt hands grab him while the bolts headed towards him, 'ohshitohshitohSHIT.' He thought as his wooden barricade moved forward and met the bolts, shattering into splinters as it was blasted apart by magic. "Well there goes thaa.." He stopped as he realized he still had control over the splinters. Perfect. This wasn't exactly what he had hoped for and he had never really done this sort of thing before but on the job experience is important for any crafter. He moved both hands back, causing the now cloud of wooden chunks to fly by his side, half of the total mass on either side of him. He then reared back and the two clouds of wood condensed into what appeared to be two impromptu spears.

He made a sweeping motion, both of them floating and moving with him as he cut himself free from the grasping hands. He then raised both arms, 'Alright Armad gotta think. You can take down two mages...Gotta sound cool while doing so.... Got it!' Armad cleared his throat. "Craft style: Splinter Spear!" He yelled as the two impromptu spears began charging forward, Armad aiming them at the necromancer's heads.

It was about this time that Armad realized there were undead running towards him, 'Oh right... Those guys.' He kept his focus on the spears and yelled, "Craft style: Strategic retreat!" as he began bolting straight to the left of the undead headed towards him. 'Running is a good option in a fight...right? I don't gotta be some big hero, just gotta survive. Once those two are gone I can worry about these guys. Good thing travelling makes your legs strong!'

The necromancers held their hands outward and spawned circular disks from a black-purple force. The spears of splintered wood rotted in seconds before hitting them and vanished into the air with a zapping sound as soon as they hit. They lowered their shields and concentrated on Armad.

One of the necromancers chanted several words in another language, casting a Sleep spell on Armad. He'd feel his body become heavy and his thoughts slow down, even if he didn't succumb to the main effect and fall.

The other necromancer focused his mana into a whip of negative energy in his hand; an almost vantablack cord, with dark purple lights moving through it. He moved his hand back, then swung and the whip flew at Armad.

The zombies changed direction and followed after him at something resembling a jog, but the monsters weren't as fast as a living human. Two of the zombies moved in front of their masters to act as unliving shields if need be.

Perhaps when she went into the Feywild she could ask where she could find them, what their appearance and demeanor was as well. For now, she needed to do what Cyrus had sent her here for. As the behemoth sentient tree shuddered and glowed, shifting to reveal a hole that showed another realm within it, Veth began to walk forward, leading her horse to follow after her.

Drui noticed Bem's disappointment over the delay in a lesson in learning the Common writing and reading. At least she argue against going to assist the one who had called for help. She had worried that Bem would have reverted back to absolutely refusing anything dealing with magic, even the use of the guild seal. That would have caused Drui to be delayed to find alternate ways of getting to wherever she needed to be.

Bem grabbed one of Drui's own before using the guild seal to teleport to where the others had gone. The scene before them changed from a calm training yard to a chaotic battle as Auriel engaged against a strange and intimidating woman who she assumed was the Death Knight. There were multiple Ki'Tavi's running around as well as others she wasn't familiar with. Drui couldn't get a better look as Bem dragged her behind a tree by the hand. When Bem spoke, she sounded a bit off and one look at the girl's face showed some signs of queasiness.

"It's fine dear," Drui said after Bem suddenly released her hand and asked if she would still teach her. "And if we survive this, of course I'll still teach you, but first things first... it's a bit crowded here. I'm not exactly strong enough to take on a Death Knight, at least without Ellis giving me s wonderful boost, but I didn't see if he was here. However, what I can do might help only a little bit. The problem is, we're just being delayed. We need to see if Ellis is here and then try to get past that woman."

Drui pointed to the Death Knight as she explained. She summoned her lute and gave it an experimental strum, "If we find Ellis, we grab him and go." She began to play the same song back in Xhorhas, a holy ward being produced and expanding outwards from Drui, engulfing the combatants.[/div][/div][/div]

Jaeyna ducked under Auriel's attack, then swiped with her foot and knocked the angel to the ground. Jaeyna's sword followed suit, drilling into her shoulder and pinning Auriel to the ground. A broken collarbone and shoulder blade would be the least of her concerns.

Flan descended and fired a jet of flames at Jaeyna. As if there was an invisible forcefield around the Death Knight, the wave of flames split into two around her, and only a fraction of the fire managed to hit her midsection. Jaeyna looked up and scoffed at the spirit. She took her shield off her gauntlet, stepped back and heaved it past the fire spirit. The shield cut cleanly through the branch Kaze was on, before returning to her upraised hand.

"Now, then. Where were we?" She looked at Auriel, ignoring all other distractions. "Ah, yes. You're about to die. Don't fear, it only hurts the first time."

She walked up closer and prepared to stomp on Auriel's face, but then a holy ward emerged nearby and the surface of her armor started smoking. Jaeyna grunted, then stepped back, covering her helmet's visor.

"A paladin?" The music sounded through the woods, and Jaeyna corrected herself, "A bard."

Jaeyna whispered a protective word and cast Protection from Good on herself. Her armor stopped smoking as she lowered her arm. The cat-folk clones were still running around. Jaeyna decided to attack the bard; the song was too distracting.

Jaeyna ran at Drui and her armor returned to smoking as she ran, but she ignored it, then struck with her shield-arm once she was in range.

Kaze watched as Flan had rained down fire onto the death knight who was surprisingly unfazed by it and used her shield to cut down the branch Kaze was on. Kaze's face twisted into one of surprise and he pulled out another Talisman.

"Sonia!" Kaze shouted a he began to hit freefall. Sonia emerged from the Talisman and Kaze felt his body become lighter as the white bird swirled around him. He hit the ground and as the Holy Barrier deterred the Death Knight from the now seriously injured one it decided to go for the target of the Ward. Sonia had already returned to her Talisman and Flan was still out, so when Kaze ran over to the girl that had been pinned to the ground he tried to grab it and pull it out, but he only managed to move it slightly and had probably caused more pain. Kaze reached into his talismans and pulled out a blue one with white markings. Water came pouring out of the paper and the color was lost, but the water swirled to form an octopus looking creature with a syubby mouth and wide eyes. "Calari, rip this blade out!" Kaze yelled at the spirit who wrapped three of its tentacles around the blade, slashing sounds were heard as the blae cut through the creature's flesh and water spilled out of the wound from white flesh.

The blade came out in three seconds and Kaze then ordered Calari to assist him. Calari increased his size to that of a room as Kaze drug Auriel over behind a nearby tree facing the dungeon. He sighed, he could no longer summon anymore spirits, but he did have one thing he could do. Kaze held his hand to the wound, it was bleeding very badly, but the most he could do was slow down the bleeding. He wasn't superior at healing, so all that happened was the blood was slowing down from a dangerous squirting flow to a far less severe gushing that slowly leaked the vital fluid to the ground and down the shoulders.

I the death knight decided to re-engage Auriel, Calari wouldn't stand a chance likely. The octopus wasn't very fast or durable. It did have high regenerative abilities though. Flan was still out there, and the fox's battlecry resounded through the forest as it ran to the deathknight to try and tackle it, plopping onto its foot and biting the armor to no avail. Kaze wanted Flan to be a distraction as well as Calari, but he needed to save his mana reserves, but Calari's size had already reduced Kaze's stores to the point he couldn't risk healing taking out all his remaining energy. "Gods...that was close. One of us must have the luck of the devil today..." Kaze said with a nervous smile as he poked out to the battle after receiving a strange looking image from Calari's eyes. He didn't have time to rest though, if either spirit died, Kaze would be in deep trouble without Calari or Flan in this fight.

Some people really needed a lesson in tactics...

Charge straight at a Death Knight and hope to just swing a sword at them? There wasn't much Kit could do to save that girl from the consequences, not without putting himself in a terrible spot. What was worse, though, is that the Death Knight seemed to be ignoring him. It was almost insulting, especially when she considered Drui to be a bigger threat than him.

Just as she went to attack Drui, a vector arrow appeared beneath her feet, suddenly shooting her away from the goddess as she played her song. Once more, the Kit-army surrounded her like a cloud as it set about its mission. "Your opponent here is me! Never underestimate a Phantom Captain!" The Kits spoke in unison. To underestimate any Phantom Captain was a recipe for disaster. But to underestimate Kit?....

"I never underestimate anyone. I'm treating you with the exact amount of attention you deserve," she jabbed calmly, then held out her hand. As soon as her sword returned to it, Jaeyna swung it in a wide arc, decimating several clones.

Still though, the clones persisted even as the bifurcated ones fell to the wayside before disintegrating. It seemed like a bunch of ants trying to topple an anteater but in the blink of an eye, everything changed.

Jaeyna had just cut down another clone, when, with seemingly no warning, she was consumed by an explosion of silver fire. Only, there was no Ellis nearby, and certainly no Cyrus that could have done it. If one had watched closely enough, then maybe they would have seen it, just barely. While the clones attacked, another Kit had lingered back and, with her line of sight obscured by a clone, Kit had thrown one of Cyrus's silver fire crystals at Jaeyna, using the clone's own body to hide the throw until it was far, far too late.

A little sleight of hand, a lot of cunning, and a little misdirection, Ki'Tavi's notorious Modus Operandi.

"Bem! Hit her from above!" Kit called out as the silverfire engulfed Jaeyna. He reached to his sides, his hands disappearing into his pocket dimension as he produced two long, thin daggers. They had to get her now. She was still dangerous though, so rushing straight at her would be suicide, even if she was heavily injured.

He threw his daggers, using a vector arrow to try and guide them to the eyeholes of her visor. If they could pierce through to the brain...

Maybe it would be enough to temporarily kill her....

If not, then maybe Bem's spear could do the trick, but they needed to get her now before she could get away and recover.

Bem the Apianian - Near the dungeon - Birdsie Birdsie One Mean Ghost One Mean Ghost Fable Fable

The bee gave Drui a gleeful nod to the mention of the lessons, and ignored the fact that she began using some sort of magic to oppress the death knight, but swiftly entered her much more focused mind-set and chose not to say anything. In a matter of moments after the goddess had begun casting her spell, the death knight had already begun charging for Bem's newfound teacher, yet as she began to get into a stance to protect the Bard, yet her assistance appeared to be unrequired as the aggressor was suddenly flung away by a mysterious force, which in any other circumstance would've made Bem giggle, as physical comedy was one of the many things she found deeply enjoyable, but she put that off for the moment.

Instead, she flew after the woman, leaving her friend behind to take on a more aggressive approach, and although she heard the cat-man tell her to attack, and while Bem was planning on following that suggestion, she made a mental note to explain to him later that aerial combat is not an effective method, even if she was being forced to use it. The humans were deceptively mobile it seemed, which made not using her wings much more difficult. Bem flew into position, stopped the beating of her wings and plunged downwards for the enemy, her spear viciously pointing downwards as gravity lended its strength to the bee-warrior in this single strike against evil. A rather risky move, but if it worked out, it would hopefully be quite a lethal one.

Jaeyna | Near the Dungeon | One Mean Ghost One Mean Ghost Silver Wolf Silver Wolf LostHaven LostHaven Noble Scion Noble Scion Fable Fable

Jaeyna was flung backward. Despite the immense speed, she gracefully landed on her feet and replied to Ki'Tavi's boast. She kept swinging her sword in wide arcs, killing two more clones with each strike. They were sent flying like leaves stirred by a leafblower.

Before she could react, an explosion hit her. The death knight stood seemingly unhindered until a majority of the explosion's remnant fell down to reveal Jaeyna had a huge, black crater spread over her entire torso. No armor covered the front of her chest, only black, burnt and rotten flesh and muscle that rapidly and desperately knit itself together just barely to form an abominable sack around her inactive organs. She could not heal that kind of damage properly on her own.

With no exaggeration to the sentence, she fell on one knee for a split second, before standing up limping a few steps forward. She looked up at Ki'Tavi, whispering, "Oh... you stupid, stupid son of a bitch..."

Reading Kit's movements carefully, she raised her palm and produced a black onyx shield. The daggers clung against it, then fell to the ground lifelessly. She returned the shield to her pocket dimension, staring at the cat-person with malice.

"Let me make this plain as day, you stupid fucking idiot... I just decided that you died... And I might not be able to pick up the body today... not tomorrow, but you've signed your death warrant right here, and right now. So it doesn't really matter when the burial ceremony is - you're on the list."

Before she could anything else, Bem dropped down and her spear struck Jaeyna's shoulder in an ironic twist of fate, piercing through the armor and digging half a foot. The death knight growled indignantly but didn't seem to mind, then her body seemed to have vaporized into black smoke.

Ellis | Near the Dungeon | Pretty Much Everyone Mentioned Above

Clutching the Guild Seal, Ellis expected to be teleported to Auriel's location, but that wasn't the case. Instead, he found himself in an empty void. He could see chunks of land flowing around him. The sky was dark purple and it fluttered like intense heat waves. Ironically, the realm he was in was very, very cold. As he breathed out for the first time, a fine cloud of white mist left his lips.

"W-Where am I?" he questioned, himself and his sanity, and no one at the same time.

"The Deep Ethereal Plane," a deep, infernal voice answered. Ellis gasped and looked back, but didn't find the source of the voice. He looked around to the sides and under himself, but there was nothing.

That's when he started feeling the evil presence around him. It didn't hide anymore but made itself known. Chills ran down his spine. He wasn't safe; he was vulnerable and prone to be hurt at the whim of whatever being held him there.

"Where are you?! Who are you?..." A beat of his heart skipped by before he found the courage to ask, "What... are you?"

"I've been observing you for some time. You're a waste of talent. A sad, miserable vessel with no purpose or meaning," it changed the subject and followed its assessment of Ellis with a quiet snicker. "I can give you that meaning if you so desire."

"I'm not a warlock for hire," Ellis spat into the void. "You will not claim my soul, so you might as well release me."

With unexpected suddenness, the voice changed its direction, as if it were originating just centimeters from Ellis' ear. "I'm not looking for a warlock."

He yelped and spun around in the air. Ellis floated a few meters back until he hit something. He took a deep breath and looked up, turning. His jaw hung agap.

"I am looking for my servant," Turenval said, revealing his entire form to Elsimore. An incomprehensible body, made out of vantablack shards, each one a collection of soul fragments he had splintered off from his victims and corrupted. Deep inside, in the core, there was a blank void. A place where Turenval's soul once rested, but now it was splintered and placed in various phylacteries. For a split-second, Ellis saw those phylacteries, but their locations and images left his mind as quickly as they entered.

"I will not serve you," Ellis denied him. The notion was ridiculous.

"I know. I wasn't asking you."

In a second, images, sounds and sensations flooded Ellis' mind: horrible evils.

Darkness poured from the sky and ate the people below. Hundreds died. Ellis looked around and saw millions of corpses, rotting, full of maggots that then grew fatter on the flesh of the bodies and consumed the world. A black mud that burned the ground with curses. An earthquake that took hundreds of people. Ellis' mind saw and completely comprehended disaster after disaster. Turenval showed him all of the world's evil and at the same time, he strengthened his mind so that Ellis could fully understand each image, sound, smell, taste and sensation that was in his mind.

A thick, gooey substance. Salty-sweet, with a faint metallic taste. Blood.

Ellis opened his eyes once again, in the forest. He heard the distinct sounds of combat. He got on his knees and used his arms for support as he leaned forward, then spat out blood to the ground. He felt around his mouth with his tongue, scooping up the bits of blood, then spat it out too. He spat once more, trying to clear the foul taste from his tongue. His stomach turned and he felt dizzy after the experience. He grunted as a quiver ran past his spine.

What was that? What did he just see? No. He understood what he saw, but how? What... "The fuck... Please... help... help!"

Ellis stood up, his jaw quivering and his mind ruined. He walked forward aimlessly, hoping he could find someone and find some help. Was the dark lord still watching him? Tears streamed down his eyes, as Ellis screamed: "HELP! F-Fucking... hell..."

He stumbled and almost fell. He had to stop for a full thirty seconds and take a breather, mostly from the shock of what he had just seen; drops of sweat went down his forehead and joined the tears, as he shook in utter horror. Breathe in, breathe out. He kept panting as he breathed.

He started remembering the faces and... At the very thought, an unpleasant vibration ran through his body. His hand twitched until he stopped it with conscious effort. Tears kept streaming down his face uncontrollably.

He heard a voice threatning someone, calling them a 'stupid fucking idiot' and he slowly calmed himself. A voice meant there were people nearby. He could find help and get out. Ellis sprang to his feet, wiped his tears, then ran in the direction of the voice.

***

After running for several seconds, he came to a small clearing and allowed himself to drop to his knees. Ellis took support of the earth with his hands and breathed for a while, before looking up. He felt obscurely relieved and safe, since he was around people, but the shock didn't pass despite that. He hyperventilated, trying to calm himself down.

He couldn't help it. Ellis started crying, fell to the ground, screamed and curled up into a fetal position. He asked, in a tone distorted by his crying, "What the fuck!? What the fuck was that!? Oh my God, my fucking holy sweet merciful Drui... What in the sweet almighty Rhygtar the Virtuos!? What the fuck was that!? What was that!? What was that!? What!?... why!? God... fucking... I can't..." Then, his whinings turned into unintelligible gibberish that couldn't be decoded even after spending seconds on deciphering a single word.

From the beginning, she knew she was completely outmatched, yet attempted to attack Jaeyna regardless- and she would pay the price for her foolishness. Suddenly, Auriel was knocked off her feet before her attack could land, before the death knight plunged a blade into her shoulder, piercing through her armour like it were paper. Auriel cried out in agony as the blade pinned her to the ground, breaking more than a few bones.

Thankfully however, Jaeyna's attention shifted elsewhere, distracted by another fellow guild member. Using the distraction, another cat-eared person had dragged her behind a tree and began to assist in easing her wounds. Auriel stared at the octopus creature as its tentacles wrapped around the sword embedded in her shoulder and tore it out. Auriel let out another cry of pain. Soon afterward, Kaze began to heal her wound, reducing her bleeding significantly. Auriel had the intended to thank Kaze, though that would be interrupted by Tybalt's sudden strike, bashing Kaze away with his shield. "Idiot!" She called out, attempting to stand up despite the pain. Ignoring the agonising pain in her right shoulder, Auriel strode toward Tybalt and smacked him across the helmet with her still intact hand. However, that was all she could manage before collapsing to the floor once more.

"Musclehead." Auriel scolded the knight. "Do not attempt to surpass the idiocy I have displayed, that man is an ally. Do not do that again, or you will become a void-demon's lunch." Sighing, Auriel turned her head sidewards toward the fight, in time to witness Jaeyna's defeat at the hands of the guildsmen's teamwork. Her expressionless face broke into a grin. "How foolish of me. Perhaps I deserve to die for such stupidity..." She whispered to herself with an uncharacteristic amount of emotion. Then, she closed her eyes and laughed.

Alice nodded as Ragna informed her that he was her master. "Confirmed. From now on, I will address you as 'master' then." Her gaze remained on Ragna as he asked for her name. "Unit AL-1C3. Alice may be a more convenient as a name, however." She told Ragna.

"Uh, I'm still in here." Faust suddenly called out, rousing Alice's attention. She looked down at the coffin she was sitting on.

"Shall I burn the undead?" Alice asked Ragna."

"No! Do you know how long it takes to burn bones into nothing?"

Alice nodded. "The undead is right. I suggest filling the coffin with acid as an alternative. Disintegrating it with holy magic is also an efficient method if holy magic is available." Alice brought herself off the coffin and on her feet again, as she looked back at Ragna. "Master, how shall I dispose of the undead?"

When Kaze had said his piece, he stood up to see a knight in full armor running towards him with a shield shouting at him as a brigand. Kaze was able to keep himself falling flat on his butt, but he grabbed the trauma area and looked at the knight. In all the chaos, he saw that his two spirits were too occupied, so Kaze pulled out a basic thunder talisman to prepare himself. But with the force of that shield, Kaze had to wonder what the strength of the knight would be. Kaze was surprised to see the injured girl get up off her feet despite her wounds and walk over to the knight to punch him across the face, calling the armored figure a muscelhead and an idiot.

Meanwhile the battle had ended and Kaze pulled his two talismans out. Flan was growling ferally at everything as she looked around for Jaeyna, but the little fox burst into flames and collected in Kaze's talismans. He then saw the octopus, Calari, collapse in on itself to a sphere of water which then split forth into several jets to gather back in Kaze's talisman. He pocketed both and pulled out a rather odd looking one. Instead of being in the shape and style of his other talismans this one had a hue of gold and pink to it with a human-like figure sprouting wings.

"Ugh...I was having a good nap. What did you call me for?" a pink-haired fairy whined as she appeared in a flash of light. She floated down to Kaze's level and sat on his shoulder. She then looked at the other two and said with a rather disappointed face, "Do you ever call on us to do anything else? At any rate, I can dull the pain, but I can't prevent the blood loss of a wound like that." The little fair then flew up and past Tybalt before landing in front of Auriel and placing her tiny hand around the wound. A small glow emanated from the hand of a green color and the pain should have faded around two fifths of what it was. Then the fire turned into a ball of light and floated around Kaze.

Kaze had been paying attention to what Auriel said after the battle ended and said from his own area, not wanting to get closer to Tybalt, "I guess any of us are lucky to be alive. I for one am glad I could prevent something today."

Armad felt his vision blur. Oh, it seemed like it was nap time... Wait there was a thing headed his way... He almost drunkenly opened his bag and made a ball of stone, sending it at the lash. His head felt weird. He looked at the two necromancers. Oh that was weird.. They looked so far away... But the stone was so close to them. Almost like it could just bunch up and make a spike right underneath one of them.

He began laughing, that sounded really funny as what he thought of happened. The stones leftover from the boulder he had burst apart suddenly bunched up and created a massive spike underneath one of the necromancers and sought to impale them from below.

Armad and the boulder, or rather what remained of it, that struck the whip-like energy both fell to the ground. He looked up at the sky. It was pretty. He should really rest for a while... He felt his eyes close.... Then bolt back open immediately as he shook his head. No, he had a purpose to serve. He had promised revenge against that asshole who tried to blow him up and he wanted to make that scaly friend happy. He had almost no hand-eye coordination now however. That would be an issue... Unless his opponent also couldn't clearly act. He nodded as he moved some of the stones around the necromancer and began circling around him or her, trying to obscure their vision.

He looked to the zombies, not a perfect fix but it might give him a few moments while the spell wore off. He waved to the other stones and they began floating as he had them drunkenly fly at the other zombies, aiming for the head.

Closing the wooden door behind him the half orc looked both ways down the hallway, he had joined up with the Guild about a week ago and he was still trying to find his bearings around the fort. After gathering up some nerve Garidan decided that he should tackle his first quest. He was expecting something easy seeing as he had just joined the guild, but he was hoping it wasn't some kind of fetch quest involving other people as nothing spells a friendly guild member like a 6'5 half orc with scars on his face. Shaking the thoughts out of his head Garidan walked down the hallway, hopefully to the reception area.

Looks like he guessed correctly, turning the corner Garidan looked over at quest board that was pointed out to him when he was first shown around the fort. Instead of going to the actual board Garidan walked to the desk, "ah excuse me," Garidan said politely, "Is there any quest available?" He asked the receptionist, he remembered meeting her when he first joined but that isn't a lot to go off of.

Woah I didn’t say nothing about ‘hoes’ don’t put words in my mouth!” Hermione said to the man that had walked up to them. She was still seriously unhappy with being stuck in this rocky prison. As he told her to apologise, the Saytr rolled her eyes, “Okay, okay I’m sorry I tried to steal from ya, can I go now?” she asked, but was further annoyed by the sudden constriction of the rock, now containing her in what could only be described as a burrito. "Okay now you are just showing off, you know one of the Deadly Sins is Pride right?"

She just huffed and kept still, knowing there was no point in trying to escape. When the girl scolded her as well as questioning how she got into their courtyard, Hermione frowned a little, “Eh… That’d be telling and a true magician doesn’t tell their secrets.” she shrugged, or tried to at least. She just rolled her eyes and flicked her goaty ears around as she took the situation in. She glanced down at the girl "Hey, how do you know I dont have a condition or something why jump to saying I'm- oh right." she stopped as she glanced down and saw the wineskin on the ground, leaking its contents over the cobblestone. "Hey! You're gonna pay for that!" she growled.

Aergundias swooped down and landed on a pedestal standing behind a broken window of a shop. The display case used to have magical items, but they were presumably looted by the attackers.

He looked at Bianca with a blank gaze, then said, "At this juncture, it impossible for me to help you. You should concern yourself, above all, with abolishing the dictator whose inaction led to this state of things. On the way there, cleaning the streets is just a side-quest."

Aergundias flapped his wings and shot from his spot, flying straight, then making a sharp turn right and gaining elevation before he ascended into the sky. He continued flying down the street just above the level of the roofs, before making a U-turn and landing on a lamp-post.

"I used to be a scholar, you know?" he continued in a puzzling tone. "History adores repetition. The only way to build the future is to avoid allowing it for the conditions necessary to repeat itself. Building the tomorrow isn't enough; we must also set the foundations for the coming weeks after that."

As much as Bianca didn't want to admit it, Soren's words made sense. He wasn't like them, he didn't sign up for this kind of thing, nor did he seem to be prepared for it - he was merely dragged into this mess, regardless if it was merely by coincidence or fate. Bianca remained silent as they continued to walk, and Soren added a few comments of his on their current situation.

Bianca didn't bother to take a look at her new and involuntary companion, but his voice alone carried weight. There was emotion behind his words. There was a meaning behind what he said - one which would be revealed in time.

As the two ventured further into the city, Aergundias finally reappeared, causing Bianca to halt and turn her attention to the bird, as it addressed them. The Grand Magus's words took Bianca by surprise.

This was not what she expected by "liberating Espania". This was not what she foresaw as her purpose here.

"The emperor...", Bianca muttered. "...no."

She walked hurriedly, following Aergundias as he flew onward and landed on a lamp post. She was confused. What Aergundias said could not have been true. The emperor always gave Espania his utmost attention didn't he? He ruled justly and accordingly didn't he? She clenched her fist. Thoughts on her mind were turning into doubts.

"It can't be!", she addressed the bird. "The emperor wouldn't turn a blind eye! Not to Espania!"

After all, if the oh so righteous emperor was nothing but a lie...

...then what purpose did the Einherjar have? Was their service nothing but deception?

Drui winced as she witnessed Auriel getting injured horribly by the Death Knight, but still she played and as soon as the holy ward expanded far enough to engulf the Death Knight as well, the enemy's armor began to smoke. Drui saw the woman pause for a moment as she looked around and then spotted her and it sent a chill down her spine. She didn't dare blink or look away and when it was clear she was the next target, she tried to scramble up a frantic idea of how to keep herself alive.

Before the Death Knight reached her though, she suddenly was redirected away and moved elsewhere. A rather weird looking and overly large blue creature had appeared and some strange boy had pulled Auriel away. He wasn't trying to harm her, at least from where Drui could see. Some foolish knight-in-armor type made a dramatic entrance as well, demanding the one helping Auriel get off her. Drui kept playing, keeping the holy ward up as it clearly had an effect on the Death Knight enough to piss her off and switch targets. She could have easily killed Auriel, but had opted Drui a bigger threat it seems.

There was a sudden explosion from the undead woman and Drui desperately hoped it had been enough to end their enemy, but once the dust cleared the woman was there with a gaping hole in her torso and looking even more angry. Bem had followed Ki'Tavi's directions and fly upwards to try and jab her spear into the woman. Drui prayed the bee-girl didn't get so close as to get snatched or harmed in her efforts. That was the final blow though as the woman vanished into smoke.

It was then that Drui heard a familiar voice nearby; Ellis! She glanced around worriedly, moving as she continued to play, but smoothly transitioning to another song to change the holy ward to a healing ward. It wasn't strong enough to heal major wounds, but it's be enough to help slightly. However, once she spotted Ellis on the ground in a fetal position crying, her instruments vanished and she rushed over to him, shaking his shoulder, "Ellis, what's wrong? Where are you hurt?"[/div][/div][/div]

Holo-Cyrus | Feywild | Fable Fable

There was barely any natural sunlight reaching down through the thick, jade-green leaf blanket in the sky, creating a morass of dense, ever-present shadow. The paths were enlightened by bioluminescent plants, mostly large, colorful mushrooms or glowing teal and blue flowers.

Around Veth, spaced at distances of roughly fifty meters away from each other were huge trees, much like the one that led her into the Feywild. Each one was a colossus, reaching to the sky and blanketing it with their leaves. Each one seemed... sapient; there was no other way to put it.

As Veth continued, Cyrus' hologram popped out. "Excellent," he stated, sounding like he was about to brief Veth on something, but he was derailed as he noticed a small detail in her appearance. "Oh, is that a flower from the tree? It looks lovely."

"Anyways. You should continue to walk north to reach Oberon's palace. The path is long, Veth, and Oberon's Forest is treacherous to go through. It is a maze that can change itself - it might take you minutes to get there... or a week. If we have average luck, you'll get there in a day or two. I had you pack more supplies to be safe. "

"Beware the fairies on your way -- they're not harmful, by any means. But their pranks can be annoying. Anything from stealing your pocket-watch to pinching your butt. Ignore them or laugh with them, but don't show irritation. That's what they're after: show that their immature pranks bother you, and they'll keep coming back for more. If you keep your patience - and I'm certain you will - they'll leave you after one trick."

Soren
Location: Egrandia
Interactions: Bianca Reinhardt Reinhardt
Mentioned/In Area: Aergundias Birdsie Birdsie

Watching the strange bird and Bianca talk to each other was fascinating, but Soren honestly felt the bird's words true in some way. He had not much idea as to Espania's current affairs as he had lived his life mostly in a rather isolated area. However, the talk of overthrowing a dictator, especially one who may allow this to happen, was a rather fascinating prospect to Soren. He never liked the idea of a king ever since his early life. To Soren, authorities, left untreated, were the worst. They split everything apart and just watched gleefully as they profit not off of people, but off of livestock and pawns. Soren looked at the city, a lifeless husk of what was a bustling area. Anyone who allowed a once flourishing and happy place to be reduced to a dying and smoldering ruin was Soren's definition of scum from what the bird had said. Soren remembered what his own brother had did to his family, so he felt he had to say something on some level. Bianca's reaction was oddly understandable, which made him slightly wonder what the Emperor was to this woman.

He looked towards Bianca with a questioning look in his eyes. How naive was this girl? From the way the bird was talking, this emperor didn't care at all for his people. And a system that allowed one corrupt man to do the damage Soren was seeing. A new system, if able to be implemented, would be better for the people if such a dark set of gears were replaced.

"Sometimes what a person does is so unforgivable...they have no choice but to die. Some people refuse to change and will use their own family to meet such twisted ends so long as it benefits them. To those people, and especially the lucky ones like nobles, captains, or kings, all people are livestock made to feed them and their desires or disposable pawns to protect them. I don't care who does such things, if they harm people who put faith or even love into them, kin or stranger, such vermin are parasites only death can purify. To me, they are as much beasts as I might be some form of 'deflective livestock' to them." Soren spoke from his own experience. He had no idea why he was lecturing someone who blindly put her faith in a figure like an emperor, but the harshness of the reality Soren spoke was fairly in line with what Aergundias said about people turning blind eyes and what Bianca said about how she couldn't believe the emperor of Espania was turning a blind eye to his own people.

There was a different matter the bird said altogether that bothered Soren. Had woken up to the chaos of the necrobot, so he had to ask this weird demon bird a strange question he had been avoiding to ask. He really didn't want to talk to the weird thing, but he felt oddly compelled to ask, more so than his suspicion of magic and demons allowed.

"Demon...bird...thing," Soren tried to address Aergundias, but he had no idea what to call this magical speaking animal. "It takes some next level ignorance to allow a necrobot like that to run rampant or some kind of twisted goal. You talk about the emperor's ignorance leading to the state of things here, but what is really happening? What do you intend to send people to here? IN a battle like this, information can mean the difference between life and death." Soren had to wonder, how much of the damage was the necrobot's and how much was the emperor's fault. He didn't know this thing, so he wanted to see how much it hesitated to tell the truth.

Soren was now getting rather concerned about the cut on his leg. He thought it wasn't this deep, but it was taking a surprisingly long time to clot. He looked back and saw a rather long trail of blood being left behind. Throughout most of the walk, the pain was easily ignored by Soren's second nature, but this was just ridiculous. He looked at the blood trail and then his own leg. "Damn that must have been a deep cut..." When that sentence was said, he expected it to be at a low enough frequency that no one would have heard him, unless they had a pretty good pair of ears or senses.
