Kakarot | Gestal, Temple of the Gods| Archdemon Archdemon

Kakarot heard the unknown language and seemed to tilt his head. He cast Tongues on himself, understanding what Leonidas said. He responded in common, but despite that, Leonidas could find himself understanding every word, as did the Spartans, due to the nature of the spell.

"I am Kakarot, twelfth servant of Turenval. Death Knight of the Mountains. My master sent me here, telling me that someone from another world came into ours, and he must have been right - I've never heard of Sparta, nor of you, King Leonidas... However, I am supposed to only investigate and report back." Kakarot's horse let out a nightmarish neigh, and the fog seemed to dissipate into the air. The Spartans that guarded the gate awoke soon after.

"Let it be known I am not an enemy, at least not to you, and that as a representative of my master's own intentions, conflict with me can be bypassed. All I want you to do is tell me when you came into this world, how you did it, for what reason, and what world you came from. After that, I will leave you and your people in peace. In fact, I might even give you a rundown of local politics as a gesture of good will, seeing that you're establishing your own kingdom here now. My master looks kindly upon potential allies, especially interesting ones - such as people from other worlds, like yourselves."

______________
Jason gritted his teeth when the alarm started blaring. Turns out Turenval and the Dark Knights are making their move much earlier than previously thought. Not good. "Oh joy," Jason drawled. "What a wonderful week this has been, huh?"

Jason flinched a little everytime Cyrus whacked Ellis with his staff. Jason quickly realized that he did not want to be on the receiving end of that assault. However, Jason didn't exactly fault Ellis for his cowardice. It was the smart move in Jason's opinion. Why risk their lives for a bunch of nobodies to them? Furthermore, there are Dark Knights located there for god's sake! That's just asking to be killed. Jason does have self-preservation instincts, after all, so he's unsure if going to that city is the proper move. If what the warning says is true, the citizens of that city are fucked.

Cyrus instructed him and the others to watch Ellis and he disappeared in a bright light. Almost immediately after Cyrus left, Ellis started walking the opposite direction, an obvious refusal of going to the doomed city. Truly, it was Cyrus's fault for expecting that much duty from him. He wasn't exactly anyone's babysitter, so he was content with letting him go. Hell, Jason felt like walking away too, after all. Jason's a thrill seeker, sure, but he doesn't exactly seek death.

"Two suicide missions in the span of three days. What a wonderful life," Jason drawled sarcastically. Whatever happened to the days where he could steal stuff without having to worry about the impending and imposing feeling of doom and death. This guild's probably cursed Jason thought annoyed. Such a hassle...

"I'm kind of with the bard on this one," Jason stated matter-of-factly to the others around him. "If I'm going to be frank, none of us really stand a chance against the Dark Knights. Not only that, that warning given out doesn't really put our chances in a positive light. Even with the entirety of the guild fighting against that army, we only have a thirty percent chance of succeeding. I like gambling as much as the next guy, but even I know those are really crappy odds," Jason said. "At this point, we're just sacrificial lambs." Lambs to the slaughterhouse, each waiting patiently for our chance to die. Even that thought was a little morose for him, so he didn't say it out loud. Jason scratched the back of his head and sighed in annoyance. "This is extremely troublesome."

Jason's aware there are some benefits to going. The possibility of a reward for saving a bunch of those people's sorry asses. Garner some favor from Cyrus. Scout out what the guild is truly going up against. Steal all the valuable shit that's lying around as everyone flees for their lives. There are reasons why Jason could go the city. Even if he does go, he doesn't have to fight. He could avoid death altogether. Still, the question remains. Should he go?

To go. To not go. Everything's gotta be so complicated...

Kthaog'Ydu|Guild Hall |Indirect mentions: Hanarei Hanarei Open for interaction/searching for someone to hide behind

Ydu was currently experiencing the second worse day of his life. He would get no peace this day it seemed. He cringed when he heard the emergency broadcast to his guild seal, and even harder when he heard the absolutely dismal odds. He curled his tentacles even further into himself. This was madness. They would all die. He felt panic rising deep within. He wouldn't stay here for this. Maybe he could simply gather his things and leave. Perhaps, if he was lucky, the guild master's plan was to gather their things and flee. It sounded reasonable. And with that faint hope, he headed for the guild hall. Only to have them dashed quickly. The guild master was insane if she thought that he was going to stay and help the civilians. That was suicide against that many undead. At best he would find a powerful guild member to tail for safety. Wait-that was it. Ydu would find someone strong enough to protect him. Then he could convince them that the civilians were less important than their own lives and to leave with him. With that goal in mind, Kthaog began to scan the guild hall for someone who seemed strong enough to protect him.

Faust Windfallow — Training Yard — Interacting With Risa ( Hanarei Hanarei )

Faust looked at his mangled hand- for fuck’s sake, that was the second time today that his hand had been utterly destroyed... thank god his injuries like these fixed themselves up...

Staring at the witch, now walking away, Faust felt a slight irritation- it was quite arrogant to insist on looking down on humans... but perhaps he only felt that way because Faust too, was once a human. No time to contemplate though, as Faust's guild seal began to glow, omitting a warning of an imminent undead attack. Is it happening already? Shaking his head, Faust prepared his teleportation magic.

Faust appeared in his living quarters this time, gazing around the dark room. He had completely sealed the door shut, and the only way to access his room was either teleportation or breaking the door down. The Guillotine Scythe sat in the corner of the room, and boxes littered the wall opposite the entrance. There was no bed, as Faust didn’t sleep, and his desk was pushed against the left wall. Bringing a cardboard box from under the table, Faust opened it to reveal the skeletal remains of a bird of sorts. It tilted it’s head at Faust, recognizing its master. Attaching a note to it, Faust let it out of the window before freezing it shut again.

The messenger bird would seek out the guildmaster, and land on her shoulder. Then, it called out loudly, showing her the strip of paper tied to its leg. The message would read: “I will stay behind 2 grd frt bl. If prblm arises, cntct via guild seal and I will arrive at moments notice. My bird will follow to Xhorhas.”

Picking up his scythe, Faust brought himself to the vault entrance and began to make his own preparations.

Bem the Apianian - Courtyard
hip to fuck bees.png
"The humans.. Don't normally do this..?" she pondered as one of her hands gently ran across her chin in thought after being shuffled around a bit by the cat person she barely knew. "You.. Wouldn't be lying to me would you? I mean.. I'm sorry, forget I said that." she mumbled before feeling slightly disappointed in herself as embarrassment and the fear of betrayal flooded her system. She wasn't used to being distrustful and the sensation left her feeling rather down, her antennae drooping down as if to reflect this emotion. "You creatures form of singing seems rather.. Strange to me. It does not leave the same feeling, but it is pleasant in other ways." she whispered, slowly regaining her voice from the knowledge of her actions and what they must mean to their peoples. "I shall be more careful in my selection of actions later.. Why did that woman from before do such an action though? I mean.. I wouldn't have done it if I had known, and she appears to be of the humans, so she must have known! How.. Uncivilised, that wench. I need to have a stern talking to her next time we meet." Bem spoke out, feeling a sensation that used to be rather foreign to her, but since the war, had become more prominent in her mind.

Anger. Since the war, Bem had been feeling more irritable, her hatred for the ant people had left a wound on her soul that had yet to heal. While this feeling she held for the woman that Bem had now deemed as the source of her embarrassment was not quite as harsh as her hatred for the ants gained from her time in the war, after watching countless of her people fall to those overwhelmingly strong warriors, this feeling was still... There.
The Apianian did not like it and wanted it to go away.

"I.. Am not feeling myself today. I feel confused, why does your peoples have to be so complicated?!" she growled at the cat person, gently shifting her way off his legs and onto the branch before another woman appeared seemingly from nowhere and made an unsavoury comment with what Bem interpreted as spite in her voice. "This is none of your business! And it's not like that!" Bem called after the white-haired woman as adrenaline began thumping it's way around her body at being caught, yet. "I don't like this. Cat-man, I will return. give me a moment to clear my head. I require some.. readjusting." she whispered to Kit before standing up and propelling herself from the tree after the elven woman, not quite sure what she was going to say, or why she was even chasing her, but anger, embarrassment and confusion spurring her onwards as her spear was clenched tightly in her hand.

Once she arrived, there appeared to be a cluster of people. How she was supposed to greet several members of their race was unknown to her, and after being told that everything she was used to doing was wrong here, she simply did what she felt was right.
"HEY, WOMAN, MAN, WHATEVER YOU ARE, I AM NOT LIKE THAT!!" She yelled to the elven woman, not even sure what was going on anymore. She wanted to run away and attack them all at the same time. "NOW TELL ME WHAT'S GOING ON!" She hissed at the group, her stance indicating that she was very much acting on instinct as her hands were shaking violently with a vice-like grip on the spear. "I don't know what these "Undead hordes" are or this "Death Knight", but I am feeling very, VERY UNEASY, I need an explanation, I want to run like the birds, but I have no reason to run." she ranted until she was out of breath, leaving her feeling somewhat sickly as what had turned from a few emotions into her animal instincts screaming for her to flee.

Abdival(newt version)
Location - Guild reception desk

Abdival had spent way too long as a lizard. For the three days, he pretty much did nothing. He had intended to see the Quartermaster, someone he could trust, to turn him back. But as he would find out the man was gone for some time. And Abdival was getting mildly desperate. Had it not been for the warning from the guild about an undead army, he would have waited longer. However, he wanted to be part of this, and that means changing back, that also meant going to....Emily. He didn't really know her that well, and he already owed her something for something he did during the entrance exam. "No other choice."

Abdival crawled out from the network of interconnected walls he had been using to get around the last three days. There's practically a small city in there. "Reception desk." He said as he scurried across the floor, avoiding other people. Emily had just finished testing someone and was making preparations, presumably for the aforementioned announcement. Abdival made his way to the desk, he was just under it so Emily couldn't yet see him.

"Hey, Emily, I need a favor." He said climbing onto her desk, revealing his newt body to her......Emily is pretty much an all-around specialist. You name the magic, she can probably do some form of it, and that meant reverse magic too. "I need you to change me back..." He said, hoping she would, and not just sit and laugh at him.

Wobb Gooblesplatsh
THE CALL TO ADVENTURE!

Wobb was impressed. This girl had moves! But she had shortcomings, too. If she punched into that wall deep enough to get stuck, she needed to learn a little bit more control. Or just get strong enough to pull herself back out again. Still, she did great! And she knew how to put on a good show! He would’ve clapped if he was solid enough to make it work, but he settled for clinking his two daggers together and shouting an enthusiastic “Bwawo!” as the test concluded. He barely had a moment to nod at the receptionist informing him about his reward before things got serious. Very seriously serious.

The alarms blared, and everyone was informed of the army of the undead approaching. Oh goodness, they should've left earlier! Emily gave him his orders: Introduce the dragon lady to Risa, got it! Instead of his usual shuffle, he moved more like a skater on the ice, coming as close to a full sprint as a slime at his stage of development could! it was about the speed of a human's 'light jogging', but it was still quick enough, he hoped! When he arrived, he heard Risa's own orders: Move out to Xhorhas, evacuate the people, don't let anyone die, and maybe save the city if they had the chance. Wobb himself didn't have holy magic... But his slime might be capable of being charged by it. He hadn't messed with true holy/light magic, but he knew his slime could take on healing properties... Maybe he could. Whatever, Risa was done with her speech! It was time to speak up himself!
"Wobb Wepowting in! Emiwy tow' me ta infowm ya 'bout Tewwa! New wecwuit, dwagonwady, appwentice wiff Neonut potenshaw! Jus' finished da tess befowe da awert!"
He said, slapping his hand to his forehead in a salute that, splashed the guildmaster with a few small slime droplets. If that wasn't shameful enough, as he tried to keep up the salute, his hand merged into his forehead, and when he was done, making it a hand again was a little awkward... Still, he was ready for orders! Or a partner! Who would he pair well with, he wondered...

Leonidas
Location: Gestal, Temple of the Gods
Action: Meeting an agent of Hades

Suddenly while Leonidas was looking at the work being done, screams of terror began to erupt from the town. As he got out he saw the dark sky and a short cloaked man riding on top of a rotting horse. They were being visited by an agent of Hades, though it is more like a name for the undead than the figure being an actual agent from Hades. Hades never send the undead to deliver his message, and so Leonidas knew this man was not from the gods.

The Spartan king walked fearlessly towards the person wishing for his presence. His Spartan warriors close behind though most stayed back to protect the village should the need arise. Leonidas had about 30 of his soldiers behind him, the other 270 were close behind, plus the six recruits they gathered. Leonidas held no fear of the man nor the beast, and neither did his soldiers. They were trained to show and feel no fear towards any enemy, that is one of the things Spartan discipline takes away.

"Poios eínai pou zítise tin parousía mou? Gia na milísete ston Leonída! Vasiliás tis Spártis!"

Viska
Location: Guild Dining Room
Action: Ready to join the fight!

Viska heard the announcement but being oblivious to the history of the surface world was still slightly optimistic. The percentage thing was just numbers, she was sure they could defend the town! They are heroes after all! She got out of her chair and looked to her two companions.

"We gotta help those people! Let's all go there together! This is what us heroes are supposed to do anyways! I'm sure my friend Solus can help with those holy spell! Common what do you guys say!"

Viska had no idea how grim the situation was but she didn't look like she would be swayed to think otherwise. She held out her hands to her new friends, ready to teleport to the city whenever they were.

Ka’sha Stonejaw

Archdemon Archdemon SP3CT3R SP3CT3R

Ka’sha was ready to rush into the Guild Hall to follow the instructions given by the announcement. Well, she was ready, but she wasn’t exactly feeling confident about it and is honestly scared. She’s never been involved in fights these big, she’s especially never been in fights with the stakes these high. Oh sure, her tribe’s been attacked by both raiders and monsters, but her kind are hardy folk who’ll live through anything. Not these people though, some of them could barely defend themselves against a dog. Still, Ka’sha knows she needs to help, which is what she was exactly going to do.

She was about to run into to the Guild Hall when Viska suddenly said something about teleporting to the city about to be attacked. She’s totally unfamiliar with teleporting, she knows that it’s supposed to bring you to far away places more quickly, but she herself has not experienced it. She’s a bit skeptical about it, especially since it appears that Viska could only bring the two if them, but time is of an essence when it comes to things like this. At the very least, they might be able to assist the city’s defenders and even buy simetime for the others to arrive.

O-Okay, let’s go.” She said as she grasped Viska’s little hand into her own. Bim, sensing the tension and agitation in Ka’sha’s voice, crawled under Ka’sha’s hood where he usually stays when a fight is about to go down.

Risa_Banner.jpg
Location: Guild Hall
Speaking to:
Wobb Graystone713 Graystone713

Risa watched as many of the guild members sprang quickly to action. An uneasy feeling lingered in the pit of her stomach. Whether she liked it or not, there was a high likelihood many who would head out might not return back after it is all over. No matter how much she tried to prioritize everyones return it wasn't a real feasible option that everyone would be so lucky as to escape death. She could only hope with everyone teaming up or partnering there was a higher likelihood there would be someone to pull them out if they got injured. Worst then death was the aspect in her mind of being forcefully brought back to serve in some undead army against your very will.

Risa looked down seeing the rather strange slime boy as he spoke up giving a salute. She felt some of the slime splash onto her, not very pleased by it but far too worried about the situation at hand. She could deal with such a trivial thing when lives were at stake. She glanced about briefly shaking her head a bit. She didn't like the idea of tossing new recruits into such a serious fray but it was an emergency and being part of the guild meant being willing to put your life on the line.

"Very well, be careful out there. Don't be afraid to run if you have no other choice. There is no shame in running if it means you can return another day to fight." She had the temptation to pat Wobb's shoulder but the notion was one she quickly dismissed. She watched quietly as a bird flew over, glancing over at the piece of paper to read it. She read the paper quietly, doing her best to understand the rubbish text and poor use of grammar. Finishing reading it she looked briefly to the bird before shaking her head a bit. No matter how bad things might get, protecting the vault was far too important. There were plenty of things contained within it that needed to remain undisturbed.

Risa took a step down from the platform. With many starting to move it was time for her to get ready to depart herself. It was a desperate situation, but she had enough confidence at the very least they have a chance of saving man innocent lives before the undead hordes might seek to claim them.

[/div]Drui clapped her hands together and grinned at Ellis as Cyrus made him her official sidekick. This should be interesting, though if Ellis was going to stay a grouchy coward she might have to beat some sense- her thoughts were interrupted as Cyrus began to smack Ellis over the head with his staff. At first she was just simply stunned the wizard had done it, then as Ellis continued to argue and more thwacks of the staff descended upon him, she struggled to contain a fit of laughter. It was hard and her eyes watered and her bottom lip quivered, but she managed to keep herself from laughing out loud.

"Of course, I only perform perfection as the Goddess of Music and Laughter," Drui replied confidently. When Ellis returned, Drui looked more at the lute he brought than at him, pondering seriously upon the item. She heard the conversation between Ellis and Cyrus, but remained focused. She looked at Cyrus with a sweet smile when Cyrus told them to keep Ellis here, even by force. Something she quite eagerly agreed to. As Ellis tried to get away as soon as Cyrus left, Drui draped herself over him with a smile.

"Oh darling, you wouldn't want to miss all the fun we are going to have. You know, as a bard I can't help but favor you right? Even if you're not a follower." Drui's body glowed and emitted a soft warmth of comfort, intended to relax Ellis. It wouldn't be enough to sway his mind if he was truly determined to flee, but it might make him linger a bit longer.

The guildmasters voice rang through the sky regarding the plan for the guild to take action. She gave Ellis a reassuring hug, "It's fine to be scared. Courage is to rise above that fear. While you think running might solve your problems, it would only be a matter of time before it catches up to you. You cannot flee forever." Drui pulled away and grabbed his hand, gave him a wink and began to tug him towards the guild hall. She didn't turn to look at the other man but she did finally reply to him, "How would you prefer to go out? Fighting and pissing off your enemy, or fleeing and living in fear until it catches up to you? We aren't the lambs, we're the shepherd who is pissed at the wolves coming to consume the herd."

As Drui dragged Ellis with her, she spotted a bee-like creature making her way over to the group, she tilted her head and grinned as she heard her shouting at the elven woman. "Oh my, as much as I'd love to stay and watch this drama unfold..."

[/div]Veth watched as Cyrus hit the bard over and over again, trying to knock sense into him. She doubted it would be enough to influence his decision in trying to flee to save his own hide. Just as Cyrus left and Ellis went to try and leave, Veth nearly drew her sword to halt him, but the woman who was in charge of Ellis quickly grasped onto him to prevent him from doing so. Veth's hand remained on the grip and her eyes slid over to the other man who was agreeing with the bard. Cowards.

The woman spoke as she pressed herself against Ellis and Veth shook her head at the action. She finally released the grip as Drui began to tug Ellis towards the guild hall, wondering exactly what the woman was going to do. Veth turned on a pivot as she heard an angry shout directed at her. Veth wasn't amused by the bee-girl's shouting and crossed her arms over her chest as she regarded her. "This one assumed you wished to be intimate with the tomcat based on the suggestive position and thus suggested it be taken elsewhere for privacy. That is all. This one is not a 'whatever you are.' This one is a Lecethian elf and prefers a proper introduction rather than nonsensical shouting. As far as the current situation and what the foe is, undead are those who have ceased to live, but are brought back and continue to fight. Only they cannot die again truly and are much more difficult to kill than a living enemy. Your desire to flee is probably instinctual."

Veth's arms dropped to rest at her sides as she began to walk towards the guild hall, "This one is excusing herself. You should consider going to the hall as well." She continued on her path towards her destination.

Leonidas
Location: Gestal, front gates
Action: Facing down a monster

Leonidas scoffed at the creatures words, especially when it threatened him to tell it what it wants to know. Even then Leonidas didn't know why he was there, or how he got there. He was preparing for a fight, this creature would probably sense that he is lying. Already it seemed to think it was superior, riding into their town, demanding things that they cannot provide. This Turenval fellow seemed to be a serious force possibly, but Leonidas will not nor ever will be intimidated or blackmailed into servitude. He is preparing for a fight, but will try to avoid one.

"You seem to mistake me for being for someone willing to give you what you ask for. Besides you will get no answers to your questions because I cannot provide any. I know not how I got here, why I am here, when I got here, and we do not have a name for our world, only our home Hellas. If you think you can intimidate us, then I suggest you go home because we yield to no man, woman, or creature besides those of Spartan descent."

Kakarot | Gestal, Temple of the Gods| Archdemon Archdemon

"Is that so?" Kakarot drawled the question. "Very well."

Kakarot's steed and his body seemed to turn into a black fog, which disappeared, revealing only Kakarot. "Then allow me to make you yield," he answered, then his hand reached into his cloak as he threw a bizarre object onto the ground - a white-black crystal - that began to expand, new crystals growing out of it, and runes carving themselves onto their surface.

"Our world has much more connection to magic, King Leonidas. And you will find that the amount of mysterious beings that you'll see here is staggering," he explained, and Leonidas could feel a wicked smile under the Death Knight's hood, but he could not see one. As Kakarot spoke, the object still grew in size. "This one is called a Menas. A terrible creature built of rare minerals, capable of manipulating negative and positive energies alike. I hope you find it... shocking."

Kakarot laughed, then turned away and walked out of the town. Within an eyeblink, he took out a pair of daggers and threw them at the throats of the Spartans guarding the entrance, killing them both without fail as he left.

Finally, the mineral grew to its full, terrifying form. It was large, standing at four meters tall.

The monster's body is symmetrical in shape, but its color scheme is split down the middle, with its left side being black, and its right side white. The black half is engraved in rough symbols and glyphs, whereas elegant runes and markings pattern the white half. Barely restrained currents of electric energy perpetually jump from one half to the other.

The Menas unleashed a terrifying growl, a mixture of an ungodly and loud howl of wolves and the scream of a furious angel.

Its left side unleashed black sparks over several meters of space around it, then shot out two bolts of black lightning that hit the dead Spartans. Their bodies seemed to rot at a terrifyingly increased rate, then rise moments after. Their walking slightly lurched, but one was unlike the other.

The undead Spartan to the left looked at Leonidas. "Vengeance!" He rose his spear and shield. The undead's eyes glowed with a bright, red color. A revenant, albeit Leonidas did not know what the creature was.

The Menas suddenly unleashed another growl, and it charged forward, slamming its giant limbs at the first soldiers it saw standing. As soon as anyone attacked it, they would find that the creature has a shield over it, causing attacks to veer off, but the more they tried, the more the shield would yield.

Ellis felt something clutch his body from behind and he quivered as he saw that it was Drui. "Fun!? Dying isn't fun! Dying is pain! Pain is not fun, unless you have a sick fetish!" he argued back, very upset. Just as he was about to throw her off, her body seemed to emanate a comforting warmth and he couldn't help but want to stay with her wrapped around him, but the sane part of his mind still yelled from afar to run as fast as he could. His cheeks reddened.

Drui began to drag the bard with her after giving him a pep-talk, and he couldn't help but answer with a terrified moan, "But that's basically what Cyrus did!" He was possibly on the verge of a breakdown but didn't want to show it, so he kept replying with childish 'but' answers, like a boy trying to form half-coherent arguments in response to his mother telling him to do something he didn't want to do.

Bianca Ensyreia
Location: Guild Hall → Xhorhas
Interactions: Risa ( Hanarei Hanarei )
The time has come. Almost everyone has gathered in the guild hall, some has even used their seals to head onto to Xhorhas to help out in the reported attack. As ordered by the guildmaster, Risa, the remaining guild members have either paired themselves up, or began to search for someone to pair up with.

Bianca, although having gone through several days of preparation for the situation, feels rather anxious. If that old wizard was right, their forces alone wouldn't be able to match this attack. The alarm calculated their chances for them, and even then, the numbers didn't really sound to be in their favor. Of course, in the battlefield, none of that matters - things are never at a constant there. But given the dire circumstance, Bianca couldn't help but worry - not about her, but about the price she has to pay, should she ever unsheathe her blade. She wouldn't know whose life will be taken as the payment, and that alone is enough to make her hesitate in what she must do.

It seems that everyone has gotten on the move. Seeing the isolated guildmaster, Bianca approaches her, and gently taps her shoulder. "Good luck out there, boss.", she says, before clutching the Guild seal with her free hand, and disappearing in a flash of light.

"So... This should be interesting." He commented, looking around the guild hall. "We should get going, we have a job to do, it seems." He sets a hand on his patch, vanishing and arriving a moment later where he needed to be. He brought up his mace and waited, looking at his surroundings. Xhorhas was familiar sight to him, but he didn't want to see it under these circumstances.

"Do we really have much of a choice?" Balthazar said somberly, countering Viska's determination. If Xhorhas gets overtaken, the horde of undead will only grow. If we don't stop them now, we might not get another chance. We've gotta do whatever it takes."
Whatever it takes, Balthazar thought. There are spells that can easily destroy the undead army at once, but at the price of all life from there to Bowerstone. If we don't stop them, someone out there might be desparate enough to pay it.
"That said, I'm in." Balthazar put his hand on top of Ka'Sha's, the one that was holding his Guild sigil. "Ready when you are."

It took her a moment to realize that it was Abdival... wait... he's still a newt?! OMG!! "Pffftt.... haHAHAHAHA!!! You're still a newt!!! Ahh... Wait, now is not the time. I better change you back. Go stand on the desk and I'll prepare a reversal spell." Emily uncapped a mana potion and began to drink it. Asterin Blackblood
CtLxk8tWYAAJErM.jpg
Location: Castle Black-
Quarters/Guild Hall

Asterin allowed her plan of action to play through in her mind, contemplating if she’d partner up or not. Granted, she didn’t trust anyone to watch her back in this hole. Mortals we’re greedy, selfish, and weak. She wouldn’t be held responsible for the death of a weakling that couldn’t fend for themselves on the battlefield. Knowing Braxon wasn’t far off from the training yard, sitting in the clearing still most likely, Asterin put her fingers to her lips and let out a sharp whistle. Just as she and Braxon has trained, he let out a seemingly angry, irritable roar that nearly shook the ground she stood in response to her beckoning. Somewhere amoung the trees, knowing he’d get up eventually, Asterin sprinted like hell toward her living quarters.

Asterin stalked right past everybody in the Guild Hall, not giving them the glory of even once glance from her direction as she ran up the stairs and kicked open her door. She quickly made fast workmof changing into her armor, considering all of red, gold and black. A light armor, extravagant in taste but mainly meant for protection. She didn’t care about the looks of her blade or armor, the only thing that mattered was if it served its purpose. And it had for a long, long time. With both long, and menacing daggers strapped to both sides of her hips, long enough to nearly be considered short swords, she retired her white hair into a long braid, a bald at the end tip of her braid, she faced herself in the mirror and grinned. She was the White Demon of the Blackblood witch clan. And she would survive this.

As she descended the steps to from her room to the Guild Hall, the stairs shook the slightest, which told her all she needed to know, Braxon had landed in the training yard, and would continue to do so until she mounted him. Or she would have him stay here and guard Castle Black.

Asterin silently stalked into the Guild Hall, observing all inside, her gold eyes holding a raging bloodlust in them that hungered for battle. She’d wait till everyone was ready to set out.

Meanwhile, the white large beast, or the Wyvern more specifically eyed those in the courtyard with a curious, wary eye, he wasn’t a massive Wyvern, no, in fact he was rather small, but his razor sharp teeth, and battle scars that covered his moon white scales told enough he’d seen plenty of battles, yet there was certain softness in the Wyverns eyes that suffered greatly from Asterin’s, and one would wonder how such a partner ship between the two ever existed. Braxon continued to fixate his gaze on the group.

Saia
Rushing out of the guild
Interactions: Open

Saia heard the alarms and quickly realized the old man was right. "Why thank you universe for proving him right." Saia had no time to partner up people were in danger and she had to move. Not even a word of dialogue was spoken as Saia rushed out of the guild heading for the town of Xorhas, her priority was to save the Townsfolk and nothing more. She had to do this and she was ready to do anything to accomplish her goal. And with what she heard about Death Knights she knew she would be useless, she had to pick her fights wisely if combat was a must.

Yordan was in the armory of Fort Black, slamming his hammer repeatedly on an anvil to flatten a hot rod of steel. Upon hearing the alarm, he grinned and grabbed his shield and hammer, putting on his mithral armor, tieing the laces of the bracers around his forearm and fixing the chest plate to his breast. After putting on his gear, he ran off outside.

A buff, muscular man caught up to Saia, holding his shield in his left arm and his hammer in the other. He heard the alarm and he knew about making groups, so he took the first occasion available for making a team.

"HELLO, FRIEND! Where are we headed?" He exclaimed, keeping up with her. His long black hair and beard jiggled up and down as he kept running.

Ki'Tavi

Location: Making his way towards the Hall from the courtyard
Interacting with: Noble Scion Noble Scion Fable Fable
Ki'Tavi could tell that he had, effectively, shook up everything she thought she knew about humans. He had done what he could to make the transition easy, but the Bee-woman didn't seem to take the realization all that well. Then again, he could hardly blame her. She thought she was acting normally, but in truth she was acting in a way that could easily be misinterpreted as promiscuous, as Veth's interjection clearly showed. Even when her agitation showed, Kit remained calm, despite the possibility of getting stung.

He watched as she left, shaking his head. He felt a little sorry for her, but at the same time, someone had to tell her. His ears perked up as the alarm sounded. "Earlier than expected... This Turnipball isn't wasting time..." He chuckled as he let himself fall sideways, flipping a couple of times before landing on his feet on the ground. Still, for an all powerful dark lord, Turnipball seemed like a peculiar choice of name.

He gave a whistle, and all at once, Phantoms and prospects came from wherever it was they had been before, geared up and ready for war. They formed in behind him as he walked through the courtyard, coming up next to the distressed Bem. "Control your instincts, Bem... What Veth said is correct. What we're up against is particularly nasty enemy. Given the situation, it's no shock that your instincts tell you to run." He remarked calmly as he watched her. "Take time to calm down before you come, if you choose to do so. You won't be able to save anyone if you're this agitated" He nodded to her as he continued past, with the Phantoms following in close order behind him.

Catching up to walk next to Veth stride for stride he gave her a bit of a smirk. "We can discuss how you misinterpreted things later. For now, you can partner up with me for this fight. Can't have my so-called rival dying out there, now can I?" He teased a little as they made their way towards the Hall. "Speaking of rivalry... Why don't we keep score of how many undead we make re-dead? Loser has to obey one request of the winner." He suggested.

Was this a bad time to be taking things lightly? Maybe some could see it as taking it lightly. In truth, though, Ki'Tavi recognized how serious the situation was. Such a gamble was a way to boost morale not just for himself, but for the other Phantoms as well. Seeing him face off against his Rival in a gamble like this would be a good boost in morale for them, regardless of outcome.

Even now though, his mind was thinking ahead, recalling what he knew about the city in question, the streets, alleyways, pathways to safety, and possible choke points that could be used to their advantage. He was already thinking where to position his Phantoms to cause the most damage to the enemy, should it come to that. Even if their primary objective was evacuating citizens, he knew full well that it would be nearly impossible for them to evacuate people without fighting the enemy.

Among the Phantoms, there were a handful of former Paladins. They, no doubt, would be incredibly useful in driving back the undead hordes...

Abdival(newt version)
Location - Guild reception desk

Within seconds Abdival was forced to dodge flaming lances! forget about laughing shes going to KILL me! After several/too many seconds Emily finally stop. Only to start laughing. God! This is why Abdival didn't want to come to her. Finally, she would actually turn him back. " You almost killed...oh whatever." Abdival jumped onto her desk and waited. This was probably going to be a somewhat weird experience, but he didn't care. He wanted to get to Xhorhas, I need to fight! Abdival closed his eyes and let Emily do whatever she needed to do, he would certainly owe her twice now....."Do it"

Sion | Guild Courtyard | Talking to Risa Hanarei Hanarei

The fight was interesting, to say the least, the lady left a crater in the wall so that was a bit different. Then everything went wrong, as soon as the lady turned and spoke with the slime and they finished their conversation Sion stepped forward to talk to her, grabbing at his cloak to pull it down and then alarms went off. They were ear piercing and spoke of deathknights descending on a city. Sion was confused but he followed the crowds as they all pooled outside waiting for orders. Then a woman spoke out, ordering the members to defend the city. Bingo. Just the person Sion needed to speak to. He had originally planned to ask questions about how to get home but plans had now changed. As much as he did not want to get involved and stick to the back something deep within him sparked. A spark all too familiar to the older man. As the numbers dwindled and people began vanishing, presumably teleporting to the city, Sion had his chance. However, talking was not his strong suit.

Moments after Bianca left Sion carefully stepped towards the guild master, the closer he neared the colder it got till eventually, he reached his target. It was cold and not your usual cold, more so like his hand was that of ice as it landed on Risa's shoulder. Fingers black and damaged, though still functioning amazingly, they gripped onto the shoulder of this woman. Not in a harsh way, but one to get her attention. Sion made sure to pull down his hood because turning and looking at a hooded guy who also just touched you would send some serious red flags.

"I have no idea what is going on or where I currently am but if you need another capable fighter, I can help," Sion spoke, his voice deep and lacking emotion. Albeit he wanted to portray emotion because he actually wanted to help, however showing emotion was getting harder and harder as days past. Plus, it had been a while since he talked to someone.

Auriel -- Courtyard -> Xhorhas -- Open For Interaction

Auriel had been staring aimlessly at the exact same statue in the courtyard for a while now- not absorbed in thought, just staring at the statue. God knows what kind of thoughts were circulating in Auriel's head at that time if there were any thoughts at all. Her daydreaming stupor was interrupted by a warning broadcast by her guild seal, warning of the rapid advance of a high-level undead horde, and the imminent demise of the city of Xhorhas. "Undead horde?" Auriel whispered to herself, as she listened to the guildmaster's words. Taking her guild seal, she activated it and disappeared in a flash of light.

Moments later, she appeared in the centre of the magic circle that is set at Xhorhas. Stepping out of it, she gazed around the city- would she help evacuate these people? Probably not. Auriel wasn't the best when it came to shouting at people to not die. Gripping Durandal tightly in her hand, she slowly walked toward the outer area of the city. Although she was an anti-paladin, Auriel reminded herself that she still retained abilities as a paladin. These abilities had finally come in handy for once. She gulped, knowing this was likely a fruitless battle. "And so it begins..." She thought silently to herself.

[/div]"I didn't say that dying was fun," Drui corrected, "I am not insane nor do I wish risk my existence as well Also, the old man didn't run. As much as you want to run away, think of it like this then. Should you flee and the wizard finds out, he'd most likely be able to find you and get you in an instant." She didn't release her firm grasp upon his wrist, still dragging him towards her destination; the guild hall.

Once she managed to squeeze in and weave her way past the others who were also in the room, she located the guildmaster. She used her free hand to wave down the guildmaster to prevent her from leaving before she got a chance to speak with her. Once she managed to get close enough to speak to her, she smiled politely at the woman, "I know I'm not an official guild member until I take my exam.
However, I was thinking if I manage to survive and assist Xhorhas that it be counted as my examination.
"

"On another note," she tugged Ellis forward more, "Cyrus has made this one my official sidekick and we really need to get to Xhorhas so I can gather up as many other bards as possible. I doubt my dear Ellis will use his guild seal to help us go into the danger zone. Would you be so kind as to send us on our way?"

[/div]Veth ignored the rambling Ellis who protested against being taken into danger. How such a coward was a guild member amde her really begin to understand Cyrus' deep concerns of their ability to fight against such dangerous enemies. As she continued, the heard a whistle followed by a less than friendly roar. Her eyes narrowed and her hand instinctively went to the grip of her blade, ready to unsheathe the weapon should it be needed.

There was a shimmering reflection coming from a scaled beast descending into the training yard. As it landed, the impact could be somewhat felt as it's full weight pressed into the ground. She regarded the creature warily. This was no common beat of burden, but a beast of battle and it had the scars to prove it. She didn't turn her gaze away from the threatening creature even as Ki'Tavi approached her.

"This one does not believe she misinterpreted anything," she replied. "This one shall not die as easily as you believe. As far as partnering together, you seem to have a small regiment to assist you. However, this one has currently not grouped with any others and in the name of rivalry I believe I must consider your wager. This one will not agree to a blanket requirement to obey a request as the request might be something this one would not ever do. You need to specify. If this one makes the most undead meet truth Death, then the feline must wear a dress for an evening and dance before his fellow company members."
