A Game of Survival

"It might be nessasary but at least we know there is water," Kat said keeping to the high notes. "its bad too because it'll be harder to hide our tracks in it,"


Zek looked at Chemi "I have a brother back home as well,"


Shurcain stuck close to Raver he was a bit unsure of the group still.
 
Mostly to himself, Aleksie mutters "I used to have a brother, and a home."


Leon pulls out a cigarette and a match ""My crew is my family, and the spirit is my home;" He lights his cigarette "now what is this about water near?"
 
"I wounder if everyone here has a brother or family." Chemi said lightly, "I would think that could very well be a motivation for all of us to work together...." She said, trying to help sooth the group to be closer.


"I didn't say there was water." Raver said with a growl. "I said the ground was wet, meaning there is a possibility that we can harvest the water out of the ground..." He looked around to take count of how many people actually felt the moist ground and noted that three people were shoe-less: Kat, Chemi and himself were all without shoes.


Lucky hummed, "I have a brother named Iron Knee. He is pretty cool. The rest of my family are all really boring." Lucky said with a shrug.


Chemi smiled again, "Perhaps I should try and track some water down...." With that Chemi took the form of a tiger. She was rather large and a bit muscular. Her fur was a bit pale instead of the bright orange her most tigers reflected. She crouched to the ground and dug at it getting her paws a bit muddy.
 
"I only have ... adoptive family an older brother and little sister, Sage and Fae, oh and a little brother Kai," Kat chuckled


"I ... do not think Kai is your little brother," Zek said dryly "I have a brother it is imperative i get back to him before father ruins him and makes him as lazy and laid back as he is," he said huffing lightly.


Shurcain looked at Raver, Raver is his family. "Do you know ways to draw water from earth Raver?"
 
Leon and Aleksie, both wanting the family topic to be dropped, fall silent in the back of the party.


Leon scowls at the ground, noticing his shoes getting muddier and muddier with each step.


Aleksie takes notice in the girl who is now a tiger. "What form of magic is that?"
 
Raver nodded, "Fereate taught me.... you don't need Magic to do so." He told the boy next to him, "Just a cloth... however boiling it would be highly suggested since it may have impurities that could make you sick.." Shurcain was his family, but he had family other then him. His family loved Shurcain just as much.


Lucky hummed, "Oh she must be a beast kin, or a demon. Well I've never heard a beast kin taking shape of their animal forms...." the little halfling observed. "But you get Kai as your little brother? That is so not fair! I'm jealous!!"


Chemi pushed foreword into a direction, breathing the air as she walked in tiger form. Kat was right though, covering their tracks will be near impossible in the damp ground. Every step they took left a muddy imprint in the ground.
 
Kat huffed lightly not to content with the pace or the terrain. "Yeah Kai is my little brother, only mentally speaking," he watched Chemi and his entire posture changed and he pounced her "KITTY!" he smiled happily.


Zek watched the elf pounce the tiger and looked to judge the reactions of the rest of the group. Shurcain seemed much to content to listen to Raver so he missed the hyper elf pounce.
 
Leon, drags off of his cigarette, and exhales it slowly. "I am not sure about all of you, but I know am not fond of this situation entirely. There is a lot going on her that makes very little sense and that is not a situation I like to be in, not to mention that I am pretty sure that the stranger we met earlier is named 'Death', so I really think we need a better game plan than mud water and going north. So if some one has something to share, I am all ears." Leon's irritation is hard to miss.


Aleksie ponders "Tell me more about this 'Beast Kin'."
 
Chemi just about fell over when Kat tackled her. She was busy tracking.... What did the little elf want?


Raver sighed and was growing impatient quickly with the group. He looked at Leon, "We survive. We are at a god's mercy right now, his champion out to kill us. I want nothing to do with any of you, but I am not stupid to run off into a world I know nothing of."


Lucky look at Aleksie, "Er... I guess animal people. They have a few traits that represent their animal half... but beside that they are just normal people."
 
"we'll make it out ok Raver," Shurcain told the galvent. "we should probably stay in group though,"


KAt was petting and snuggling her "so pretty pretty pretty kitty,"


"Anyone else... think the elf needs to be tied to a tree and left there?" Zek asked dryly.
 
Leon shoots a irritated look at Raver "If you really want to survive, you wouldn't be spouting defeatist nonsense. You may believe that some God and his lackey are out to kill us, but I don't. I believe there is a sociopath that wants to kill us for the fun of it, and apparently he's good at it. So we need to prepare and kill him first. If you want sit on your hands and wait for him, be my guest." Leon's temper almost a boiling point he starts to storm away.


Aleksie, who was going to ponder on what Lucky said, is caught off guard by what Zek said "I... I do not think that it would be in our best interest to decrease our already few numbers."
 
Raver shook his head, Leon was an idiot in his opinion. They can kill the Champion, but a high god was a different story. Raver took Shurcain's hand and held it, they were wasting time... they had an hour to get places.... and Leon was pouting.. Kat was weighing down their tracker and Lucky, Aleksie and Zek were making their lives a bit more difficult by talking. They needed a leader.... Kat didn't seem the type since he couldn't get the sorry excuse for a team behind them.


Lucky put her hands up, "Don't tie up Kat! he's suppose to be keeping us alive!"


Chemi next tried to shake Kat off of her, her muddy paws trying to pry him off.
