A Game of Survival

Kat followed "we should loot the town a bit we might find ropes things to start fires or medical supplies," Kat said looking around "then we should head into the forest all this green... there has to be food and water,"


Shurcain was told to stay with the group so far Chemi seemed the most friendly and timid like himself.


Zek looked outside sheilding his eyes from the sun "I can perhaps draw water from the ground but it'll take time and energy i' rather not waste,"
 
Leon takes up the back of the group. he checks to find both of his weapons, a fair bit of ammo, and a single pack of cigarettes are on him. He decides that is best for him to bring up the rear. Aleksie chose to follow Zek.


Aleksie holds the hilt of his sword. watching the group closesly. "Does anyone know what this dying world is?"
 
Lucky ran out the building and started to jump around. She was making a lot of noise and to be honest it made Chemi nervousness. As a hunter, being in the unknown you should be quite and watched your surroundings.


"Why worry about what world you are in when you should worry about who's territory you are in...?" A very smooth voice almost ricochet off the buildings. It ended in almost like a hiss.


Raver spun around and growled loudly, not sure where the voice had come from. Chemi backed up, trying to get into the middle of the group.


Aleksie and Zek however could see where the voice was coming from. There was a very cat like beast almost effortlessly weaving through the buildings. It was large, sleek. It was sure to be bigger then a common work horse.

Kat smiled "sorry to intrude on anyones home we are not here by choice," KAt said.


Zek twiasted his fingers sending his magic invsable webs of it out to try and search the surrounding.


Shurcain balled his fists incase he had to fight but he was hoping not to have to.
 
Leon pulled out his rifle and tried to control his breathing.


Aleksie near instantly pulled out his sword, his right had free to cast at any time. "I am not fond of this place. The sooner we leave here, the sooner I will be at ease."
 
"Then leave my territory and I will spare your tinny little lives." The monster hissed at them again. "This is your only warning. Leave quickly."


Raver didn't move, he was ready to fight.


Lucky on the other hand was perfectly ok with leavening, "yeah so... I think we should do what he says!" Lucky said already getting ready to walk away.

"Leaving means leaving resourses... but living to find more without injury... I say lets mosey on out of here," Kat said


"I say this creature could be taken," Zek commented back flexing his fingers "I'm used to attackers."


Shurcain looked at Raver wide eyed "Raver... what is it? what is stalking us?"
 
Aleksie looks at the beast with concern "I do not think it as a case of if we could kill it, but rather would it be wise to engage it at all?"


Leon raises his rifle to try and tries to get a clear shot. "Tell me what we're doing guys."
 
"GET OUT!" The voice echoed again, it was their last warring.


Lucky shivered, "Time to go!" Lucky said before skitting off into the forest behind them.


Chemi watched her go then looked to the group. if they fought, she would try to fight with them.


Raver on the other hand took a few challenging steps foreword, more concentrated on the enemy then Shurcain's question. He would fight, but he didn't think he could take it one alone.

"The raven seems to want to stay," Zek said his fingers sparking. "I say we stand ground,"


"Raver..." Shurcain was worried.


"Ok ok... sorry sorry but I have to keep these idiots alive," Kat chuckled and pulled out his daggers.
 
Aleksie sighs very unhappily "I do not think this is the wisest course of action but I see the group mind has been made up, I will cover your flank Prince of the Terrin Throne."


Leon finally trains a good shot on the beast, "Are we gonna kill it, or make pretty stances?"
 
Aleksie could see it weave through the buildings again, but this time faster. As quick as a flash it jumped out of the mass of buildings and right on top of Raver. The Galvent rolled back with the cat to avoid massive damage before he reached out with his claws to scratch the creature's neck.


The creature itself looks like a panther, it was as big as a long boat, as tall as a horse. Its body was sleek, and it fur was long. Its muzzle was long and stretched, sporting a very strong and large row of teeth. Its ears and tail were long and looked like flowed with its actions. Surprisingly the creature only had three claws, two in the front and one in the back.


Chemi immediately looked around, trying to find and secure some kind of weapon that could be of some help.

"KITTY!" Kat practically yelled happily "Don't hurt the kitty!!!!" he whined though he did still have his weapons.


Zek began to chant in ancient elven his medalian glowing bright for a second before the ground began to liquefy under the cat.


Shurcain cried out suprised and ended up loosing his balance when the cat landed falling backwards.
 
Aleksie attempts which causes a light blue flash to emit from his ring causing Leon to accidentally fire and the the bullet whizz past the monster and the noise causes Aleksie's spell to fail. Then both of them begin to yell at eachother.
 
A silver dagger came out of no where and burred it deep into the cat's flesh, the cat continued to flail almost tirelessly in the mud.


It wasn't long till Raver slashed it a few more times, he being completely defenseless in the mud as well. He was right under the beast, easy access to his under belly.


The beast started to scream in pain, "You fools!!" it said, still trying to pull itself from the mud. It didn't look like it was going to be able to fight for much longer.

"I said to STOP!" KAt yelled. "ZEk by the god of tricks himself stop this!"


"Wait why me?" Zek asked.


"I said so Kai sent me didn't he," Kat ran to the cat "stop it everyone," he ended up getting caught in the mudd "It's intelligent its a kitty we need to not be so mindlessly violent!"
 
Leon looks very confused "I don't your kitty is ready to share in that plan of action."


Alesksie "For once I think the Captain is right, it very hostile only moments ago."
 
Raver on the other hand did not stop, however it was a few moments later that the bigger creature collapsed in the mud, to tired to move. It was bleeding, but it was bleeding blue instead of red. Raver was now trying his best to get out of the mud and away from the beast, it was almost laying on top of him.


"Hey Kat, I think they are right..." Chemi tried to say, Kat seemed really convinced of something as he headed to the giant cat.


"Stay away..." It told him, it started to resume its struggles to get out of the mud once more then, this time it looked ready to flee over fight.


The dagger in its side soon disappeared. Lucky was sitting on top of the roof of the building they were in moments ago.

"Stop I am not going to hurt you," Kat said "you need healing, Lucky bad! you don't stab kitty's. Kai likes Kitties too,"


Zek face palmed in a very unprincly fashion letting the mud turn to sand much easier to walk in.
 
Aleksie looks absolutely dumbfounded. "Wuh-what plane of lunacy have I been forced to? Or-or I am I just going insane? Is this what insanity feels like?"


Leon just stands there with his barrel in the dirt.
 
With that the beast crawled out of the sand and leaned against one of the buildings, unable to fight any longer, though it looked like it could very well be dying at how much damage Raver had done to his under side.


Raver however was covered in the creature's blue blood and mud. His wings were completely soaked and heavy. He was not happy... Specially because he was grounded now.


Lucky made a pouty face when Kat scolded her.

Kat ran to it "Zek healing magic you are a high mage right?"


"I am a prince not a common healer... healing is not my best subject."


"Well do whaat you can I'll get the rest; it's ok kitty you will be ok." Kat promised him .


Zek huffed and walked to the cat placing a hand on the beast he looked for the worst of the injuries.


Shurcain ran to Raver "are you unhurt?"
 
"Why are we attending to our foe as if it were our flesh and blood?" Aleksie holds onto his sword in case the worst happens.


Leon sighs and reloads hi gun. "If that cat things eats your face then I am running like hell."
 
Chemi took a deep breath, "Maybe we are all scared.. Let me see if I can help calm the situation." She said before pulling out a small wooden flute. She took a deep breath before she started the blow across its surface and play a soft calming tune. She was not sure if this was the right time to do so, but she did.


The cat didn't move, though it was breathing. "I do understand what is happening... take what you want... then leave me." It told them.


Lucky frowned and just hummed silently to herself while everyone did stuff. She was on a building, so she felt safe.


Raver touched his shoulder, it was bleeding a bit but nothing more, "I am fine. All hostility from the beast is gone. He has surrendered." Raver said standing up straighter.

Kat pet the kitty "is there anything here you don't need and we can have?" Kat asked him "we hurt you to steal from you now would just be cruel of us," he told the cat Even as Zek heaed anything life threatening his eyes closed as his magic washed over the creature.


"I knew you would not get hurt nobody is a match for you Raver," Shurcain praised.
