A Game of Survival

Aleksie sheathes his sword and walks behind Zek "Judging by this current state and the way the events played out, I doubt he is in any position to deny his betters the greatest of his spoils."


Leon closes his eyes trying to place a name to the tune, seeing if he recognized it at all.
 
"I don't care... just please leave my nest alone.." The creature said, "I don't use anything else left by the ones previous here years ago." The beast said almost in a deep growl, though it didn't move, even as it was being healed.


Chemi paused a moment when he growled again, expecting an attack.


Raver nodded, smiling at the praise. "I feel so heavy, my wings are soaked."

Kat glared "we are not savages," he hissed at Aleksie "sorry we will get a few suppileis an leave," Kat promised the cat.


Zek pulled away "thats all my healing can do at this point," he told Kat "though I beleive it was pointless."


"I'll help you get them clean," Shurcain promised.
 
Aleksie shoots Kat a pointed stare "It is not savagery, it is survival. One can play nice and wait for what vile beasts this hellish plane has to offer to come down and kill us, politely." Aleksie punctuates that part of his rant with sarcasm, then he turns his attention to look directly at the beast. "Either that or we fight ferociously for every scrap we can take. Not so different than what our friend here might have done, should he have been the victor. Do you think he would have spared us? I know I don't." Aleksie scoffs and begins to walk in the general direction we were headed before the fight. "If you aren't going to kill it, at least make it useful some how."
 
"Ok... we should split up and go find some supplies... I might go a bit faster." Raver said, "We are obviously not welcome her much longer."


"Oh oh! I can help find stuff!" Lucky said waving her hand around.


The creature closed his eyes and laid there, not even bothering to raise at Aleksie's accusations. He just wanted the nuisance out of his territory. But Aleksie was completely right, they now could kill him.

"I pray you grow a heart or your skills mean nothing," Kat said making the tricksters sign over his heart. "We intruded into his territory not the other way around," Kat said then looked to Raver "We shouldn't split up too often and not go too far form each other, we need a signal as well my jobs to keep you alive long enough for the game to be fun,"


Shurcain looked at Raver then Kat he was a bit frightened the elf said things in such a light happy way that it sounded creepy.


Zek flipped his hair "Lucky... that's your name right halfling? we can pair up, with the elf make a group of three, you there," he pointed at Chemi "can go with the two arguers,"
 
Aleksie, assuming Zek meant he and Leon as the "Arguers", waits for his two companions to catch up, he watches Kat, wondering what he meant by "grow a heart" Maybe it means nothing. Maybe he doesn't understand, I mean how could he? He doesn't know what life I lead until this point. Bah! There is no point in pondering over the ravings of a lunatic.





Leon fallows Chemi, uncertain as to what to make of the events thus far, he takes a out a cigarette and lights it. He gives a small thanks to the fact that he was in port when all this happened.
 
Chemi timidly looked at Leon when he lit up the cigarette. She had not smelled anything like that before. She was not sure if it smelled good or bad. She was quite again, listening for anything. They went in and out building looking for things. They found a few medical supplies, but it was a bit old.


Shurcain and Raver found a few tools such as small daggers, a few strange metal pokers and a bag, but that was it.


Lucky found a few things of what looked to be canned food. Kat and Zek the same, they also found a bag and a few metal bottles. Though they had nothing in them.


Mean while Leon, Aleksie and Chemi could feel like something was following them while they were searching the area.

Zek searched rather dantily careful of his painted nails and his silk clothing though he didn't complain. He let KAt and Lucky do alot of the digging.


Shurcain was happy to find what he and Raver did it made him feel like he could actually be of help.
 
Aleksie caught Leon's attention and grabbed the hilt of his sword and Leon nodded in understanding.


"Oi! Chemi, is it? Chemi, I need your help with a thing in this direction, kay Love?" Leon directs Chemi to the nearest right turn they can make and Aleksie turns let when they do, then he presses his back to a wall and draws his sword while Leon loads his gun.


Aleksie scowls If there is something following us, hopefully if will take the bait, I don't know if I can handle something like that cat, but Leon tells stories of large kills all the time and I can probably get a good back stab in with out being noticed.
 
Chemi looked surprised and followed Leon, "Ok! What are we doing?" She asked with a smile.


Aleksie heard the sound of a blade swinging before a long curved blade came around the corner and was at his neck. The person holding the blade was out of sight. All he could see was the blade. "Don't make a noise." A whisper came, "drop your weapon and come around the corner slowly and backwards."


Of course Shurcain, Raver, Zek, Kat and Lucky came together and started to take a total of what they found. "This is awesome!" Lucky said happily.

Kat smiled brightly "a wonderful start!" he said happily "wheres... the others?" he asked loking around with a slightly confused expression.


Zek picked up the canned food "how odd.." he said examining it and a bag trying to figure out what it was made of he seemed as curious as a young cat would be.


Shurcain smiled "this is a great start," he said happily as kat had,
 
Aleksie scowled and complied dropping his and moves just like he was told, now was not the time to be brave. I cannot get Leon's attention from here, this plan may have been a very grave mistake. huh, didn't think I would resort word play in my last thoughts.





Leon looks back and sees nothing and sighs "I was just wondering if you could tell me the name of the tune you were playing earlier."
 
"Oh, I see... the tune is one that my tribe play. It is played when one of our ships go out to fish... it is said to calm the very waters and bring in many fish! It is a beautiful song is it not?" She asked with a wide smiled.


When Aleksie back up the weapon disappeared and he felt someone lean on him, arms came around and started to feel his chest, "My my... how tender you feel..." They said rather seductively. "Don't try anything funny..." They said quietly, he felt a small shock of electricity run through his body, it was a warning to say they could still very much hurt him.


Lucky smiled, "Yeah it is! I am very excited, this will be a fun game, specially if it continues to be this easy!"


"Now all we need is water." Raver said with a nod, though when Kat pointed out that the others were not back, he was less inclined to go look for them.

"Yeah," Shurcain nodded.


Zek looked around the area "I don;t see any sign of distress, they must be slow is all,"


"Maybe... but maybe not I don't much like maybe's," Kat said bouncing up and down in a odd anxious mannor still oddly he looked a bit happy uner the impatience.
 
Aleksie scowls. "Are you quite finished? You and I both know I am unarmed. So if want to kill me I suggest you do it quickly. I am a rather impatient man."


"Not nearly as charming as you are, gorgeous,"Leon caresses her cheek "but now we should go find the sour puss and head back towards the others"
 
"I like to toy with my pray. I don't want to kill anyone too early in the game. So I am merely giving you a warring. Move out quickly..." With that, Aleksie felt a rather powerful shock of electricity run through his body. Soon after he jumped back and turned to run.


Chemi blushed a bit and pulled his hand off her cheek, "Ah, yes! We should!" She told him, stuttering lightly.


Raver looked up to the sky and pointed, "Look." He said. Kat could see a large red bird circle around a building.

"Yarrow... They are in danger the game has started," Kat said almost in a musing way.


"You sound so calm!" Zek ran towards the area Kat was looking. "Loosing members this early would be so annoying,"


Shurcain looked at the bird as well.
 
Wow, she really is adorable. I may actually be there when she wakes up after sleeping with me... Lets not be hasty,but an interesting thought though. Leon smirks at the idea and swaggers off in the direction the left Aleksie.


Aleksie falls to his hands and knees after the man let him go, that last shock was more powerful than it's predecessor may have done lasting damage, maybe I should just stay like this, I don't want to over exert my self.
 
Chemi walked with Leon back around the cor nor only to see Aleksie's weapon on the ground. Though the man was around the corner, she couldn't see him. She immediately smelled the air, "Someone was hear that was not part of the group... they smell.. sweet... Aleksie?!" Chemi called suddenly worried for the man.


Raver looked at Shurcain, "Should I go find them?" He asked his master.


Lucky jumped up and down, "Death is here already?! I want his autograph!" She said happily, with that she ran into the mass of building, the red bird Kat deemed Yarrow dived into the mass of buildings as well.

"Death... is maybe that arrogant... autographs ar totally his style," Kat said and darted after Zek.


"No... let them handle it... are we staying with the group Raver?" Shurcain asked
 
Leon sees Aleksie kneeling on the ground and runs too him "Mate you had better not be dying, I will kill you if you are!"


Alekise laughs lightly and tries to get to a sitting position "No, and thank you for your... Concern? I just had a run in with someone who I think we should avoid the ire of, his power is commendable. Leon could you fetch my blade it isn't far, Chemi may ask you for assistance, I seem to be bit weakened currently."
 
Chemi picked up Akeksie's weapon before she watched Leon rush over to his... rival? She was not quite sure what those two's relationship was. Quickly she got up to them, holding out the weapon for Aleksie. "I got it." She told him, offering the metal.


Moment's later, Lucky came running around the corner, "Where is he?!" She asked, though she stopped looking around in a rather excited manor.


Raver tried to gather the things, putting everything they had found prier into the bag, "I think that action might be best... for now Master." He told Shurcain.

"Ok we'll stay then," Shurcain said "but I know we will both be safe, because nothing can beat you,"


Kat looked at the scene. "What happened?" he asked stopping by Aleksie "aw Death remembers me and Ricks training!" he said fondly.


Zek looked at kat "who's side are you on?"


"The winning one," Kat said not missing a beat.
 
Aleksie offers a nod of thanks to Chemi and sheathes his weapon. Then he turns to Kat "If you were tasked with helping us, I suggest you should start." There is no small amount of venom behind his voice. "My assailant said that we are moving too slow for his Slyuni chelovek rebenok of a God."
