Vampires and werewolves have been at war for so long. So long that the oldest of the oldest do not know when these two creatures had not been in war. However, when humans find out that vampires and werewolves do exist, they started to be violent. Wherever the two tribes go, humans follow, hunting and burning their fellow species alive. They had no choice but to create a pact - temporarily or not - and fight against humans. Under one condition; vampire and werewolves are not allowed to fall in love with each other.

But when humans capture the heirs to the two tribes and they fell for each other, what happens?

Name: Carlisle Lee. Real name: Unknown.

Age: ???

Sex: Male

Species: Vampire

Appearance:

History: Carlisle is the son of the head of the vampire tribe, so therefore, he was born with all the money in the world. ...Technically speaking, of course. He was raised rather lavishly, with the attention and the love of his parents, so he grew cocky. After all, he has money, and he has parents, so why not brag about it? One day, Carlisle found a young human girl. She was, for him, special. Her blood smelled so sweet. It sent his mind overdrive. To kill, or not to kill? Deciding on the latter, he befriended the girl without revealing that he was a vampire.

He met up with the girl every week in their usual spot. To say he was falling for her... well, they were under exaggerating it. He fell for the girl immediately. During a meeting, Carlisle was in the middle of a blood hunt. He had his teeth sunk in a human's neck, and the girl found him in the act of killing a human. She looked so afraid - but she wanted tell her people. But she couldn't. He lashed at her, and sunk his fangs in her neck, sucking her blood. When he finally got in control of his emotions, he pulled himself off of her, but it was too late.

She was dead.

On that day, Carlisle distanced himself from the company of women, in fear of doing something similar as he once did.

Name: Tyna Havern.

Age: Unknown, looks around the age of 19.

Sex: Female.

Species: Lycan (Cause Werewolves are just so, non Royal, a Lycan is though o3o)

Appearance: Dark brown hair with deep golden eyes. She's 5'7, her hair goes down to her shoulders. Her skin is slightly tanned. She normally wears a Black t-shirt and Grey jeans.

History: Being a Lycan princess, she wasn't allowed to go into human cities as her parents said it was 'Too dangerous'. When she was around the age of 16 human years she had snuck out while the tribe was hunting, and walked into a human city in board daylight. There she met a human, a male to be exact, she was befriended by him easily. He found out she was a Lycan when the full moon rose a couple days later, he had made a pact with his brother to find her and hunt her down, a Lycan would make them a lot of money if they gave her to scientists.

Her tribe found out, and kept a closeful watch on her, and of course, the boys found her, the tribe had set her out as bait, she tried to tell the boys to move, but they didn't listen. They took a step towards her before two fully grown 'wolves' jumped onto them, and slowly ripped them to shreds in front of her.

She tried to fight them off of the two boys, but she was already too late, the tribe had torn them to shreds and eaten them. She vowed to herself to stay by her Mothers Law of not interacting with humans...

A fire spread yet once again.

Some vampires, angered, hissed loudly, lashing out at humans, fangs bared. Some vampires, the younger ones, panicked, rushing out of their makeshift houses. Carlisle's eyes lazily trailed around, glancing nonchalantly as humans, one by one, slashed at vampires, stabbing and shooting the rest of his kinsmen. One of his parents' maids busted through the doors, panic stricken on her face. "My Lord!" She fussed over the young vampire prince. "You must hurry! They might get you!" The maid tried to coax the prince, but it was to no avail.

Carlisle stayed in his spot, nonchalantly waving the maid away. "Shoo," he waved a hand dismissively. "Go away. I'm busy."

Which baffled the woman. When she didn't move, Carlisle glowered at the woman, pupils narrowing into slits. "Go. Away." He hissed dangerously. The woman didn't hesitate in leaving now, scurrying out of the room as soon as he said so. He knew it was stupid. But he had to. He had to be a bait, or else the tribe might be gone if he doesn't. He opened the window, and with a blink of an eye, was gone.

He made sure he was within sight of the hunters; and once he was, one hunter noticed him. He hollered something to his comrade, then hit him with a hilt. Ouch. He thought with a grimace as the hunter pushed him on the ground, cuffing his wrists securely. He didn't know what happened next, but he knew that part one was done.

Now they won't have to kill more of his tribe, for now.

Tyna sat in a tree, in perfect view of the humans walking into view. She stretched and was about to drop down to ambush them, but her mothers words ran through her mind. Tyna, you have to stay as bait, we need them to stop slaughtering our kind.

She grumbled slightly and slipped off the tree branch onto the ground before a human spotted her. She froze slightly, watching the humans.

"Hey!" One called out to his friend, pointing over at Tyna, "I Think I found another Werewolf!" He called. Tyna grumbled under her breath, "Not a werewolf... A lycan..."

The humans closed in on her, she didn't try to fight when they knocked her down. She tried to shake them off as an effort to look like she wasn't trying to get captured but to no avail. She struggled slightly as the humans took her away, she sighed, knowing she had done her part of the deal nearly perfectly.

Roughly dragging the young prince - and he had to make a comment about humans ruining his hair, but that's besides the point - across the pavement, the humans threw him inside a cell, muttering something about something that could please their masters. Whoever their masters were, Carlisle knew they weren't someone to mess with... if you're a human. He licked his lips, purely delighted at the thought of another human's blood. He hadn't had a nice meal since three days ago. How he managed to tolerate such hunger was beyond him.

Carlisle cozied himself despite the circumstances, one leg crossed over the other. His fingers made its way towards his coat, attempting to smooth the wrinkles the humans made. Well, damn, he thought to himself, feeling the wrinkly texture run through his fingers. I spent a long time smoothing this. He rolled his eyes. Amber eyes gazed around the cell, his nose wrinkling in disgust. "They couldn't even put a bed, now can they? And they expect me to sleep on the ground? I don't think so."

But he knew the bed wasn't really the least of his problems. For now, he waits for a perfect time to strike.

Tyna struggled against the humans, she managed to break away slightly before a hman smacked her on the head with a small plank of wood. She was just on the brink of Unconsciousness as they walked to a cell area, throwing her inside, across from Carlisle.

She looked around, feeling slightly dizzy. She gained most of her consciousness and then crawled towards the bars. "A-Augh...." She grumbled, looking around warily. "W-Where am I...?"

"Welcome to Hell," Carlisle muttered, only loud enough for her to hear. He had shed his coat and used it as some kind of makeshift seat, making the cold, hard ground a bit more comfortable for him. He was starting to regret his choice of being bait for the tribe. But what's done is done; now all he had to do is wait. He propped his chin with his palm, scrutinizing amber eyes glancing at a faraway wall, his face somewhat devoid of any emotion. He was starting to get bored, and he couldn't have any decent meal. Humans are smarter than he thought. Never bothering to get in while a vampire was in captive.

He leaned in a little, his fingers clicking the metal bars. When he realized that it was kind of hard to break the metal bars, he sat back in his little cot, feeling a bit uncomfortable with it. Oh, how he wanted to go back home to have a nice, proper seat.

She flinched at the sudden voice and looked around, blurriness in her vision slowly disappearing, she looked over at the vampire on the other side of the hall. She blinks twice, shaking her head slightly and pulled her knees up to her chin to keep warm.

"H-Hell...?" She asked shakily, she looked around, noticing the imprints of the humans feet on the dust ground. She looked in her cell and noticed there was nothing on the ground. "Y-You're lucky to have a jacket..." She said.

"Little tip. Always bring something soft with you. Who knows what will happen." He shrugged his shoulders, stirring in his little cot yet once again. It was hard to cozy himself. Oh, if only he brought a pillow or two. But no. You had to bring a coat. He scolded himself.

Amber eyes flicked over towards the lycan's cell, amusement dancing in his eyes before shedding his button-up shirt off. He still has a long sleeved tee, so he was fine with the cold. He threw the shirt into the lycan's cell. "Here," he called. "Keep yourself warm." Carlisle didn't know what spurred his sudden kindness, but he was sure he was only doing this to stop her from complaining that she was cold.

Tyna looked at the shirt as it dropped into her cell, she looked at the vampire, surprised at his kindness but nodded happily and wrapped it around her body with a small smile.

"T-Thank you~" She said with a smile, "Y-You're kind for a vampire." She paused, hearing talking in another room, she crawled to the wall and pressed her head up against the wall.

He shrugged dismissively, piping down. His ears perked up when he heard something shuffling from a kilometer away. Oh the perks of having sensitive ear--OW! He let out a startled yelp when he heard someone yelling shrilly outside the door to the... dungeon room? Whatever this was. Must be the boss. He thought to himself, lazily picking at his slacks.

I need a shower. He wrinkled his nose at the grime stuck to his otherwise pristine slacks. I don't deserve this - who are they to imprison the vampire prince in such a dirty cell? I need something better than this. Ugh. When I get out of here, I might as well have a hot, long shower. And my hair! He spent pretty much the rest of the day complaining about unimportant things - such as his mucked up hair, his dirty coat - though it was his fault, anyway - and his dirt infested slacks.

(( As you can see, Carlisle is very vain. ))

((Heheh ^^;; Tyna isn't the one to comlain, unless shes hungry or cold~))

Tyna looked over at Carlisle with a small smile, she giggled slightly and looked around at her cell. She frowned slightly, noticing how it was so dark and damp. She hated the dampness, but since she lived in a forest, she was used to it. She crawled to the bars and tugged at them slightly, then looked for any windows, frowning when she did not find any. She was worried, she couldn't remember if the full moon was that night or the night after. She then paused, realizing she hadn't introduced herself, "O-Oh... Hiya, I'm Tyna..." She said over to the vampire, hoping they could form some kind of friendship.

(( Probably his parents' fault that he became vain. xD Rich vamps and their money. Bleh. ))

He was in the middle of a rant about rats when she introduced herself. He sent her a flat look, stopping himself. "Name's Carlisle Lee." He told her in a 'are you stupid' tone. Practically everybody knew of the chief vampire's youngest son - frankly, Carlisle never knew what to call his father - but then he realized that maybe, just maybe, lycans and werewolves never knew about him. He wanted to call her stupid, but he realized that it sounded mean. As much as Carlisle was vain - there, he admitted it - mean wasn't in his nature. He could just see a budding friendship; but who knew? Carlisle never had any decent friendships before. Except her. He thought bitterly.

She paused, scratching her head slightly, "Your name... It's familiar..." She said, thinking about it slightly, before realizing, "Y-You're the Vampire prince!" She said, half afraid, but half happy. "I guess, you wouldn't know who I am if I said my last name..." She waited, before looking around and speaking again, "Havern." She said, swearing to herself in the back of her mind, she hated her bloodline, heartless killers, they were called.

"Havern?" He racked his brain for anything. Tyna Havern. Tyna Havern. Never heard of-- Then, it clicked. The lycan princess. "The lycan princess?" He heard of that name being whispered by the maids. He never knew what was so scary about lycans - werewolves in general. He thinks they're overgrown mutts. Under his breath, Carlisle murmured, "No wonder it smells like wolves in here..." He wasn't aware if she heard him or not, but he doesn't care much. He doesn't see the need to hate her just for what she was. She can't be blamed for what she is, right?

In the tribe, he was the only one who didn't scorn werewolves. He thinks they're... so-so. They're normal. They hadn't killed him yet, so who was he to judge?

She paused, hearing him with her hearing and sighed slightly, she shrugged it off with a sigh, leaning back to lie down and look at the ceiling. "What do you think they want with us...?" She asked eventually after a long silence. She didn't have a thing against vampires, she wasn't sure why the rest of her tribe did, sure they were merciless killers most of the time, but so were werewolves, if anything... Their species should be best friends.

He shrugged his shoulders. "I guess they wanted to have us killed or something." There's a first possibility. "But knowing humans, they're too powerless to even put a single, teensy-weensy scratch on us, so I guess we should cross it out." He made a gesture, showing her the size of the 'scratch' with his fingers, the distance itself probably a centimeter big. "I don't understand what's so big about us. We're like humans. Only more powerful. We act like humans. We think like humans. Heck, we can look like humans. What made them fear us?"

"Or hunting abilities and the fact we hunt humans...?" She said thoughtfully, she stared at her cells ceiling with a small frown, "Maybe they're too afraid because we're more advanced and able to survive much worse conditions when they could ever think of surviving?"

"Bah, who cares about humans?" He rolled his eyes, piping down fully when the latch to the room was pulled back. Lazily, his eyes trailed on the group of humans entering. There was a man in the middle - probably the boss, and one man on each of his sides. Probably the bodyguards. The man in the middle peered in Carlisle's cell, spitting at the vampire, a victorious smirk on his face. "How does it feel to be captured, vampire?" He couldn't help but recoil as the boss' sour breath hit his face.

He couldn't stop himself. "Ever heard of mouthwash?" He wrinkled his nose. "I may be a vampire, but I'm pretty sure I use mouthwash myself. Ugh." He checked his pockets for a pocket mouthwash and threw it at the boss. "Use this. It's peppermint. Makes you feel fresh."

He knew it was worth it to see the boss snarl and redden when he heard his comment. He, however, discreetly pocketed the mouthwash. The boss glowered at Carlisle, forcing a low chuckle escape the vampire's throat. Oh, how he loved doing this. "This wouldn't be the last meeting you'll have with me, vampire."

"I have a name, you know." He chirped, enjoying his angered expression. "It's either Prince Carlisle or simply Prince. Take your pick."

The boss merely spat at him, and turned his attention towards the lycan princess.

Tyna flinched slightly, before snarling at him angrily. "What are you looking at you cruel heartless monster?" She asked, feeling pissed off by the sudden appearance and rudeness that he has. She disliked anyone who talked rudely to anyone around her. She often had battles with her father because of it.

"Despite the fact that our three kinds are at war, it doesn't mean you can talk rudely to a prince!"

"Listen to the lady, people." Carlisle's eyes caught sight of something shiny on one of the bodyguard's belt. Keys. Judging by the look of it, and the padlock's little keyhole, he knew it was the keys to the cell. Perfect. While the boss was busy yelling at Tyna, he used what little powers he had to remove the keys from the bodyguard without being obvious in it. It was a difficult one, since using mental abilities wasn't something Carlisle was very proud of. His eyes flashed back to its original red color, and focused his attention entirely on the keys. Using his mind for something best done physical... it was hard. Slowly, the keys was engulfed in a very dim glow, and little by the little, the keys lifted from the bodyguard's hook.

When it got near to him, he let it fall discreetly, and he reached a hand to swipe the keys off the floor. He pocketed the keys, grinning in victory. He watched as the boss was finished with Tyna, and with a dark glower at both of them, turned on his heels and stalked away with his two bodyguards. He waited until the latch was done before showing the lycan the set of keys, dangling it with a little goofy grin on his face, despite the fact that his face was paler than it usually was. Oh, the strenuous effects of using mental abilities.

Tyna snarled darkly as the boss left. She then turned to the vampire and smiled slightly, holding back a huge laugh. Her smile said it all, "Whoa~ Y-You got the keys~!" She said quietly. She motioned a thumbs up to the vampire, "Wow, How'd you do it~?" She asked with a huge smile, feeling a tug on the back of her mind, the moon was raising, but it wasn't a full moon, so she didn't have to change.

"It was hard, but it was worth it." He smirked victoriously, tapping his temple as he winked, moving quietly from his cot, and inserted the key into the padlock. He turned it, then heard a 'click.' Carlisle cheered in his mind, taking his coat from the ground and brushed it. It was so full of dirt. He grimaced. When he gets home... he was sure he was going to have it disinfected thrice, washed four times... he shivered, but he still pulled the coat on.

Snapping his fingers, a carbon copy of himself appeared in the cell. Cloning was something he needed to work on, seeing that the clone was a bit emotionless - and he was probably sure the clone might start speaking in a language he never knew - right now. Bringing back the padlock, he locked the cell once again. Working his way on Tyna's cell, he smiled in satisfaction at the sound of the familiar 'click.' He helped her out, then created another clone for her. Locking the cell, he checked around the room. There wasn't really anything around the room. It was simply a cement room, with rough, rocky floors, and it was damp. There wasn't really any light from the ceiling. It was a purely enclosed room. Though he was thankful that there was no sunlight. Otherwise, he might shrivel up and die.

He's seen a vampire die under the sun, and it wasn't a great experience.

Tyna stretched with a huge smile as soon as she was out of her cell. She looked around with a small frown, before stretching again.

"It's such a dark... Dull place..." She said, her stomach grumbling slightly, Oof... Not now... Not hunger... She thought to herself. "So... Where to go now is the question... I remember a huge long trail out of this place when my sense of sight was blurry..." She frowned, looking over at her 'companion'.

"We can't go back to our tribes yet, that's a first." He told her, feeling around the place. He touched the walls, then hissed when he realized someone put garlic on the other side of the wall. He withdrew his hand back, feeling a little sore spot forming, his skin reddening in irritation. "They're going to wonder how we got here so quickly, so my best bet is..." he trailed off, wondering himself. What could they do?

Red crept up his cheeks when a thought struck him. "W-we have to act as a c-couple to remain inconspicuous. Y-you know, o-outside these walls..." No matter how hard he tried to steady his voice, he still stuttered.
